We called to see how long the wait was on Friday (10/10) at 7pm and the person that answered the phone said " there's nobody here. Nows a good time to come in. You'll get seated right away". We get there 5 minutes later and the waiting area is packed. Whoever answered the phone was full of sh*t and lied to us. We were told 15 min wait when we signed in. After 30 minutes, we kind of got pissy with the girls at the front desk. They seated us pretty soon after that. Once we were seated, we waited about 10 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. Customer Service is 3 Stars. Chili's definitely fired alot of Employees at their company since there were lack of service. There was a new Gadget, a Tablet on the tables which allows you to pay for your food after you're done with eating your meal. My dad thought that was 5 stars since we can eat and get out! The Food was 3 stars as well, The amount of food decreased. We ordered Nachos and Buffalo Wings. For the Buffalo Wings I have a huge consideration I wanted to put out to Chili's. If we're going to spend approximately $10-12 dollars on Buffalo Wings then put at least the Original size of the CELERY on the dishes. The Celery amount was half of half of half of a Celery so basically they gave us half a celery. Celery isn't expensive. Stop being so CHEAP. Makes me not wanna go to Chili's after eating Half a Celery. My parents ordered a Sizzling Chicken Fajita, but the condiments were so small. I don't recall it being so small. I ordered a 10oz. Steak Medium Rare, However, the steak was pressed down so hard you can see that they were trying to hard to cook it quickly or something the Steak didn't taste that great. I felt as if I spent too much money for poor quality made Steak. The Cook was Unprofessional. The Wait time for the food took a while as well. I don't recommend coming to Chili's. Chili's food is excellent! They have a full bar and their menu options are perfect. This location is my top location to eat at because customer service is so excellent. Our server twice being here was Lisa and let me tell you, she is always on top of everything! From taking your order, refills on drinks and even her friendly personality makes the experience that much more better. If we could choose her as our waitress every time we would. Thank you Lisa for being the awesome waitress that you are, keep it up! If you have not been to this location give them a try. Seems like food even taste better at this location for some reason. This is a *brand new* Chili's in Whittier, and I have never had worse service at a restaurant. The host ignored us for a little while, before finally giving us a dirty table in the lounge, even though they weren't busy. We watched the waiter ignore us a couple of times, before finally coming over to take our food order before he ever asked us for our drink order. Our table was finally wiped down a couple of minutes before the food came, and we got our drinks after we started eating. It's Friday the start of the weekend so what is the best thing to do after work Happy Hour. The start time my girlfriend & I came to Chili's in Whittier we had a great time. We came here before a game. Well this Happy Hour we had some pretty bad service. It wasn't because of they were rude, the just forgot about us( and a few other tables) Our server Tim was out with the drinks and chips quickly. After Tim took the order he took forever! Not only that but they completely forgot about one meal. When he brought our food then said they would run back to get the fries and sorry but your burger siders went to a different table. Next thing you know, the person is around bussing the tables. Then I ask Tim for a Blue Moon beer after a while he just forgot about us. Yes, I know I'm sitting in the bar, but when the bar half full that doesn't mean to forget about us Tim. I noticed this happened to at least three other tables. Party of 3 We waited 30 mins to get seated and 40mins to get our food. Our server JD was the worst he looks new and also because he gave us our drinks but no straws gave us our food no utensils. Matt West our server for lunch and was exceptional and that is hard for me to stay. He was super upbeat, friendly and very attentive. He is a gem and I would hire him a in millisecond. Overall experience was great but for extra eyes the building needs some deeper cleaning, high dusting, high chairs and restroom need some attention. Extremely disappointed in the service provided this evening. We checked in at 745 to be told it was 35 to 45 minute wait with several tables open after complaining we were advised of you can sit in a booth but we do not have enough servers we sat from 830 until 920 and inquired about our food order we were then advised out food order was deleted from the system - I find this interesting as the kiosk which I asked for had my full order . Also I don't know how it was deleted if we received out appetizers and soups. We declined our food as our children had waited over an hour with no food. What is more disappointing is if I would have not asked where our food was we would still be sitting there. Is it not the servers job to inquire where the customers food is ? The manager did address us and honestly nothing he could have said would have made the situation better . It's hard to think this but I believe my order was purposely deleted to avoid a low survey return . We always receive great service at Chili's!! Can't go wrong with their deal for 2 for 20 or the deluxe 2 for 35 which includes margaritas!!! (I don't suggest upgrading to the presidente one) With these deals, the meal doesn't come out to be too pricey. We love their chips and salsa as the appetizer. The chips are nice and thin and light which doesn't make you feel terrible afterwards. Love comping here for some good food. Can never go wrong! read more

Let me put this into perspective. There is a waiter and I wish I remembered his name but he is phenomenal and the only reason I go to Chilli's in Whittier. Nope its not the food its entirely his service. The hostesses are young ladies who cannot be bothered to do their jobs, the food is ok at best but this waiter is ON IT! Kind, gets the damn order right, every time! He makes suggestions without being pushy and doesn't rush you, he reminds me of a waiter we had in a suite in Vegas at the Venetian when we ordered room service. Yes he is at that level and should really look for a job in fine dinning. If you are ever in the mood to be treated right and don't mind chain restaurant food. Well, I tried to stay positive, but this visit was pretty horrible. It started when we walked in and asked about bar seating since the few empty table were dirty. The host replied "just go stand by the table you want and eventually a server will come by and clean it for you" That was at 8:42pm. That alone should have been a sign. Being in the F & B industry I went to the booth I wanted and started to bus the dirty dishes to the end of the table I sat at since I didn't want to stand in the way of the servers and other guest. The host ( I think) than came and cleared the table and wiped it down. Than a male cocktail server came and dried the table. 8:47pm He asked if he could start us off with drinks and our server would be right with us. We ordered water since we couldn't find the beer menu. Took us about 5 minutes to decide on beer and food. The cocktail server came back at 9:02pm and asked if we had been helped yet which we had not and offered to take our order. We ordered and our drinks were than delivered promptly. Our food how ever took over 20 mins to be delivered. The sliders were Luke warm, the wings were cold as well as the cheddar bites. I was super excited to try the cheddar bites but was very disappointed, since the cheese was not melted or remotely melty. The wings seemed to have very little meat as well which my husband and I joked about. If our server did a 2 bite/2 min check back we would have addressed the problem but honestly he didn't ask how things were until the female cocktail server had dropped off our check. My husbands beer was running extra low and our cocktail server seemed to avoid our table. Finally a female cocktail server finally came to ask if he would like a refill. Unfortunately it took another 15 minutes for that refill. With our dirty dishes stacked to one end of the table for easy pre bus for our cocktail server he grabbed half of them with no check up on us and rushed away. She apologized which Helped defuse the situation. With our second round half full our female cocktail server (Marissa according to our receipt) came and checked on us and dropped a check at 10:02pm. She made small talk and seemed very polite and professional. Sort of wish she would have been our cocktail server to begin with. Overall this visit was a dissapointment. We left hungry. :/ my husband refused to spend money on food that was clearly not acceptable. To top it of we were given 1 straw, 1 set of silverware and 1 napkin for a party of 2. The one star Goes to Marissa, it seemed she tried to make the situation better at the end. read more

Decided to stop by Chilis, Whittier with some friend to have appetizers and drinks at the bar.  The bar was a little busy, you can tell the regulars from the non-regulars.  The reg/s were very nice and talkative.  The Bartender Bear was on top of her game.  She makes a great Presidente Margarita.  She was very attentive to all at the bar, Bear made sure if you needed something, she was on it.   You cannot go wrong with chilis.  Great atmosphere, Great Drinks and the app's are decent. read more

I really did not want to write this review, because I have always been a big fan of Chili's. After eating here twice, and both times using gift cards, having tried four different dishes, here is the real deal. The food portions are first off, ridiculous. I ordered the entree sized wing, and got six (6) wings for $10. Six? C'mon, that's not even funny. They were decent, but their hottest flavor lacked any spice or flavor, kind of just soggy, flavorless drums. Both the wife and I ordered Micheladas, but those were again, odd. I would say it was more of a beer with tomato juice in it, but okay. My wife got the soup and salad. Soup was decent, it was the enchilada soup, but for some odd reason, the salad, clearly from a bag, took almost thirty minutes to come out. On our prior visit, we got the appetizer combos. Egg rolls, sliders, wings, and cheddar bites. The bites were cold, congealed, and just gross. Wings were cold and fatty, and the sliders were borderline raw. The egg rolls were good, but who cares, 1/4 is already a swing and a miss. I have a few bucks remaining on my gift cards, so that is the only reason I'll return, and will probably only get beer, from a bottle, because that can't possibly be screwed up. After that, I won't return. Maybe it was because I was in my twenties when I always came here in the past that I though it was good? I don't know.
