Wife and I had a good lunch at Chili's and enjoyed the fajitas with the steak and chicken and my wife enjoyed the hamburger and the fries were really good. Beer was good too nice way to end the day great service and the ambience was good. I enjoyed watching the baseball game Padres and the Dodgers.

The eating mission continues, just wanted to highlight where the value is at Chili's. First timer at the Chili's Grill & Bar located at 9804 Mission Gorge Rd. Chili's Grill & Bar has a (3 for Me) on their menu. The (3 for Me) consist of a drink, soup or salad, and your entree. The prices range from $10.99 -$16.99 depending on what you select. 411- They do have a up-charge from a cup to a bowl. Skipping to the results (see the pictures)

This is a $7.50 salad lol

I usually don't give Chili's three stars. But once in a while when I come to this location, I'll have a bad experience. First of all, I wanna say the time we went, but it wasn't that busy. It was around 12:30. We were sitting in the bar area. I usually get the mushroom Swiss burger. Sometimes I'll get a salad with it. I ordered a side salad. To my surprise, Chili's is pulling really tight on their salads a salad that they charge you $7.50 for but really the sound that they gave out was worth like four dollars. The food was good as usual. Sometimes it's great sometimes it's good. In the server, she's usually good. She wasn't too great today. She only came by our table twice. My one compliment I will make is they take away the free drink when you visit Chili's and I didn't know about it and they did give me a free drink. Here's a picture of the salad.

Had a very nice lunch recently at Chili's in Santee! Sitting in the bar area is always a fun vibe and everything was nice and clean. The service was reasonably friendly, timely and efficient. I noticed the new Ziosk device is a smaller form factor now and much less tacky and obtrusive than before. I was really impressed by their Hand-Battered Chicken Crispers! If you're a fan of the venerable fried chicken tender, this one is an absolute standout. Plus, it comes with your choice of two dipping sauces. I ordered it as a "Crispy Chicken Crispers Combo" which comes with fries and white cheddar mac & cheese. What truly flummoxed me was how terrible the mac is! It was truly awful. Just a sad, soupy mess. A combo platter like this would be much better with a side of crispy, cool coleslaw or something. Not sure who at Mother Chili's corporate office thought it was a good idea to serve mac & cheese with fries, but it's not a good idea.

This was a typical chain dining experience. We came here for the viral triple dipper and while it satisfied my craving, a couple things could be improved. The chicken crispers were a bit tough and the mozzarella could've been a bit meltier. But the sauce on both are so yummy, it's almost forgivable. The southwestern egg rolls were top notch though. And my summer marg was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was kind and quick to get refills. But food took a bit longer to come out than expected. Overall the restaurant was clean, service was friendly, and the quality of the cooking may have just been an off day.

Genuinely the most satisfied I've ever been at the end of a meal. The new big chicken sandwich is THE BEST sandwich I've ever had. No over exaggerating right now I can't get over it and had to leave a review to express my feelings lol. Food was very fast out and the waitress was so kind.

Best part of the Chili's experience was the CocaCola and walking out the door! Service flat sucked and the food was iffy at best!

We ordered a Tijuana panther, a picadillo taco, and a brisket taco. We added a side of their queso and a tortilla with butter. I love the big patio, booths inside, and service. It was pretty slow for not being very busy and what appeared to be overstuffed. The chips and queso were very good. The Tijuana panther taco was sopping wet and I could only finish half of it because it was so messy and hard to eat without asking for a fork and knife. My husband's picadillo taco is where it was at. It was tangy from the pickled jalapenos, meat was beautifully seasoned, and tortilla dry enough to hold. The brisket taco was overstuffed and messy as well. I appreciate packing them full, but when they're served rolled it makes a handheld food item completely inedible by hand. The employee working the register was delightful and I'd go back just for her.

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

First time coming to the restaurant for all of us. The ambience was cool and I liked the fact that they made the tortillas fresh. The food was cool I guess. My grandmother got the chicken fajitas but there were no bell peppers with it, just onions. The tamale was mid. My Dad and myself ordered a basic bean and cheese burrito. I did not like the fact that it wasn't mentioned that the beans are made with bacon until AFTER we received our food! My dad doesn't eat meat and the rice is made with chicken as well. The server did bring him something else but this needs to be stated on the menu or upon ordering! We were sat right next to where they made the tortillas and can see them being made since they had glass windows around it. However, there was one gentleman that was making tortillas who was on his cell phone texting or whatever CONSTANTLY at the same time while doing this. He had a glove on one hand and no glove on the other, and was touching the tortilla dough.....We all know how dirty a cell phone is! And what made it worse is at one point he itched the inside of his nose with his finger, and didn't even wash his hands or have gloves on after that. Definitely made my stomach turn and what caused me to go and write this review. I suggest a camera be placed at the tortilla station, add the notes about bacon in the beans and chicken in the rice, and add bell peppers to the fajitas. Also, maybe give the option of meatless beans and rice for the non-meat eaters

Although it's not the comfiest place to kick it for three and a half hours for a race, it was a really good experience, and the owner, Karen, is an AMAZING mixologist!!! There were six of us and we sat at the bar facing one TV she set up for us to watch the race on. There was one other group on the other side of the bar, about eight of them, I think. Everyone was eating and drinking and I, being the DD, was only allowed to have one drink per hour BOO. But, I made the most of it. Karen REALLY knows how to make an old fashioned and when I asked her to make one with her best Mezcal, she did and it was FABULOUS. My bestie, wanted a Mezcal cocktail, too and Karen made her one with apple and jalapeno that she loved. The boys drank giant beers. We also tried out some nachos, wings and my dad got a baked potato. The potato was the only disappointment in the experience because it was on the hard side, but otherwise, we had a fun afternoon and really enjoyed getting to know Karen. Its right next to Puerto Nuevo, so a nice place to have cocktails before your lobster dinner and ask Karen to make you something delicious. She really is awesome. Also, if you have some sports memorabilia you're letting go of, a donation helps this SPorts bar have a lot of fun decor to look at. They even have a front bumper of one of Joey Logano NASCAR Fords. Will DEFINITELY return and totally recommended.
