It's a great family party place. For lunch they have good discounts . The staff are friendly.

Let me start by saying the staff was incredibly friendly and the service was friendly. I did not feel at ease as servers were NOT wearing masks. I tend to put too much salt on my food, however, my ribeye was so salty and tough I couldnt eat it, my dogs sure enjoyed it. Ordered rare and was well done. Even at a time when money is tight for our family we decided to splurge and support a local business after a year and a half of losses and enjoy a special meal out. I don't mind spending close to $100 on lunch for 3 as long as I enjoy the meal and it is better than what I can prepare at home. Manager was very professional and appologetical and the servers were beyond gracious which made a big difference. Still left feeling dissatisfied, dissapointed, and like we wasted hard to come by $ read more

Best service in San Diego hands down! Kudos to management and this location! The waitresses are extremely fast, the food comes out extremely fast, and it tastes amazing every single time! I've gone to other Chili's in San Diego, and they are put to shame by this particular location! Literally, the best experience ever every single time we go! read more

The food there was awful. The server was awful. She did not even get a tip!!!! ordered two fajitas. The beans were cold. The steak had a lot of hard fat. When you're a member of Chili's, you get free chips we never received them. We asked for a mango margarita. It was grapefruit. I know she's gonna know who did it and she better not ever forget my face ever again servers like herself and her high-pitched voice gets people sick.paid $77.00 for something my dog won't eat. read more

Service was out of this world. Food on the other hand.....beautiful cut of ribeye steak cooked to perfection RUINED by the excessive amount of salt on it. I don't know if they use food enhancer too as my heart was pounding by the time we left and got very sick once I got home to the point of vomiting several times. Very disappointed. read more

I like the Chili at Chili's. The beef is fresh and tastes great . The service is quick and the waiters are very friendly and helpful. The ambiance is quite if you get there early for lunch. If it gets crowded it gets noisy. But the food is great and I think it's worth going there. Have fun ! read more

Walked in to get a table in the bar or dining room. Was told there was a 30 minute wait for the dining room and that we couldn't grab a booth in the bar but could sit at the bar. There was a dirty booth in the bar, so she said if we wanted to wait a minute we could have to booth after they clean it. While we waited, 3 groups came in behind us. One got sat in the dining room right away, the second was told they could have OUR booth that was being cleaned, and the 3rd party was told they could sit at any of the hightops in the bar, but apparently we were not allowed to. We left. read more

I went here for the first time in YEARS last night. My bf and I were at the bar and we ordered the dinner for two and started out with the chips and salsa. After 20 minutes, my bf and I realized we weren't as hungry as we originally thought. We asked KEVIN if he could take the order that we already put in and change it to to-go. He was more than happy to. Being in the industry, I know how annoying that is and I appreciated his haste and happy-to-help attitude. Kevin is a gem and we will be returning because of his service. read more

Our waiter was absolutely wonderful and incredibly attentive! The food was savory and flavorful. However, the hostess with the long brunette hair was incredibly awful. She gave off the vibe that she was bothered that we were even there, and treated the customers after us the same way, saying: "the wait time is, like, an hour and a half so I don't even know if you want to do that" in a very snobby, rude tone. In addition her and another waitress, blonde, with her shirt halfway unbuttoned, exposing deep cleavage (love your curves, but there is a workplace appropriate attire), doing shots on the job in their uniforms. We saw them both sip on cocktails in between waiting on tables. We almost turned right around, but we're lucky that we didn't because the food was fantastic and the waiter was lovely. Just get better standards for hostesses. read more

The waitress was nice, BUTTTTT she brought out water to me 3 different times with black stuff floating in it. And I had to have her bring me water in a to go cup and ice in a separate to go cup. My coworker and I ended up here for lunch during a day of joint sales calls. We were seated at a booth and were greeted by our waiter who took our drink order. I ordered the prime rib prime rib bowl which was tasty and contained prime rib, lettuce, three cheeses, black beans, Pico de gallo salsa and citrus rice. What I didn't expect was a plastic bag that looked like a used condom. I flagged the manager down who apologized and explained to me that it was the food preparation bag. He took my new order of the prime rib burrito and I requested him to hold the plastic wrap. Surprisingly after that ordeal, I enjoyed the burrito, it was tasty, filling and the waiter deducted my entrée from the bill. Mishaps happen in every industry so I'm sympathetic about what happened. I've experienced many times discovering hair in soup entrées and all I got was a apology and not even a deduction on the entrée - so I felt the Chile's staff handled the situational well. read more

Every once in a while I get a hankering to stop in a chain restaurant and give them a try. Today I had dinner here and I ordered an appy of their fire roasted corn guacamole with warm tortilla chips and salsa, and their philly steak sandwich with a side of mashed potatoes with gravy for my main course. The guacamole and chips appetizer was huge. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/chilis-grill-and-bar-santee?select=GgkyrwZe6m1sTa1b3hlrSw#iSEYW5e-h9bd6De4AIChUA) Well, they dished out a lot of chips and small but deep container of guacamole and chips. The guacamole had a lot going on with all its ingredients, (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/chilis-grill-and-bar-santee?select=GgkyrwZe6m1sTa1b3hlrSw#K6rnx3oYIBKD54oOEkSFbQ) but I was surprised with the lack of seasoning it had. For that reason have to settle for a 2 star "meh." It would of been so much better with a little salt and pepper. The Philly Steak sandwich was very good. After ignoring the small size of the sandwich for $9 and some change, I actually enjoyed the sandwich. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/chilis-grill-and-bar-santee?select=GgkyrwZe6m1sTa1b3hlrSw#2VDAvI78qznTJy6IAnZ62A) The philly was graciously loaded with flavorful thin sliced beef, smothered with onions and peppers, then drenched in a cheesy cheese sauce. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/chilis-grill-and-bar-santee?select=GgkyrwZe6m1sTa1b3hlrSw#Wm7PKJmhaGGGzZF_OJ2Rxw) The bread roll came warm and moist. Just wish it was about 2" longer with the ingredients to accompany it. The mashed potatoes were pretty good and the white gravy was very thick, rich, and peppery. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/chilis-grill-and-bar-santee?select=GgkyrwZe6m1sTa1b3hlrSw#TXsHIiAM87r-qfir3HIgCQ) I give the philly 4 stars for the great flavor. My server Mandie was super. She kept my diet coke filled continuously bringing me refills in a new mugs each time and made sure I was comfortable and enjoying my food. Using the laws of averaged plus the great service, I am settling for 3.5 stars for this visit. Yummy, but petite Philly Steak sandwich. read more

Best part of the Chili's experience was the CocaCola and walking out the door! Service flat sucked and the food was iffy at best!

Decided we were craving a burger on a rainy day. We usually make our own but wanted to get out of the house. Sat in the bar area at Chili's & had a wonderful lunch! For $10.99 I had a yummy (small) Caesar salad, Special Sauce burger w/fries & a Diet Coke + free chips & salsa for being in the rewards program. That is a helluva bargain these days! Service was great, food was delicious and the music was rockin'. We will definitely be back! read more

Ya know, I never thought I'd have to give a Chili's 5-Stars. It's not because I don't enjoy the food and margaritas, but I don't get too excited about most chain restaurants. I've gone to this one for ages and always had a good experience and good foot, but nothing I felt the need to yelp about. This was my first time sitting down at a restaurant since COVID. There's so much bad going on in the world and I ended up here on a whim, due to not being able to get on the Freeway. Anyway, food was great as always, but our server, Brian turned and inconvenient unexpected detour into a great experience. I love seeing people treat every human with kindness. I saw him with a few tables a lot of servers wouldn't have been kind to. He sincerely went out of his way to make sure every guest was having a great experience and he is the one who made it. read more

I loved the sirloin steak and my husband loved his shrimp tacos. The chili cheese fries were a bit cold but nothing a microwave can't fix! And they were delicious even when reheated which is not something I'm used to. The only complaint I really have about my food was the sad roasted street corn they advertised. It sounded sooo good but it was absolutely awful. I'll let you judge by the Picture, it looked, smelled and tasted terrible. Won't order that ever again if we choose to eat here again. read more

When our waiter finally came to our table we asked if this party will be taking under control? He responded NO, there's nothing we can do!!! Really? I asked we want to talk and there's no way that we can't hear each other! Sorry he responded! Ok then we decided to got up and leave! Bar area doesn't mean it's everyone's party!! Southwestern egg rolls has been reduced from 4 to 3. soggy and gooey. Not crispy. Old timer burger came with cheddar cheese instead of American cheese otherwise okay. Texas fries were cold and soggy. Chili's used to be my go to place years ago, then they changed their menu and became more Tex-mex and I stopped coming here for years. Fairly recently I decided to give them another try. They have some good lunch specials, a 3 for $10 menu and a 2 for $25 dinner deal. There burgers and fries are always delicious so you can't go wrong with ordering one of these. I had the steak at a different chili's location and I'll never make that mistake again! They have a great kids menu and their chocolate lava cake is the best I've ever had anywhere! They make a mini one now too which is awesome because the regular size is too much for one, even two people. They now offer a $5 margarita which each time has been delish! They also have great fresh brewed iced tea and the little game thingy at the table keeps the kids entertained when you want to just focus on the adult you're with. Chili's is back on my go to restaurants... let's hope they stay on that list ;) read more
