I dined in with the family and had a great experience at this location. They were relatively busy when we got there, and the wait was short. I liked the electronic notifications and the fact you could see the wait time from your phone. The waiter was friendly and attentive. He remembered our requests and was quick to respond. The food was affordably priced and tasted great. I love their queso and chips. The French fries have great flavor and the ribs were really tender! My wife and I just left this Chili's without even sitting down. We went in and stood at the host station for 5 minutes. No one was at the host station to seat us. We made eye contact with multiple staff members but no one said anything with the exception of a server who said "excuse me, I need to get behind you" as she reached for a kids menu. I'm pretty sure this is Pflugerville Location's policy, to review your take-out order by opening every single take-out container to show you the food. To be frank I HATE this beyond belief. Want to eat in the peace of my own home So what indicates that I want you to open my hot food and show it to me before I leave. Your letting out all the warmth. I would give this place a three star because it is chain restaurant but the service here was really slow the last few times I have eaten here. I like it because it close by our neighborhood. But for as many waiters I see here the service is slow. They do attend your needs and ensure your taken care of. I just think they need to a little more attention to detail. Food is great as can be for being Chili's. They good bargin deals but the selection for bargin deals is limited I must say. Alcohol drinks have always be top notch and just right. Horrible experience. MANAGEMENT ISSUE! Came in on a SATURDAY NIGHT (just 2 of us) and sat in the bar area at 10pm. (They close at 11:30pm). 7 horribly dirty tables NON bused for 30 minutes, one poor waiter responsible for covering 14 tables but only 5 tables occupied-and still easily getting his butt handed to him. Poor guy. And 2 lazy bartenders chit chatting it up behind the bar on their phones, while 6 drink tickets + about 10 drinks just sitting at the bar waiting to be ran and not one manager or bartender offered to help the 1 waiter run drinks. Ridiculous!!!! We also ordered teas and waters. Got them 30 minutes later. Then, ordered the 6oz Sirloin cooked Rare- came out Well done with Mashed potatoes cold as Ice. Obvious the plate was sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. The real issue with this chili's is the management. It seemed that every employee was jacking around, not putting work or CUSTOMER SERVICE first except our poor male waiter in the bar area who was trying so hard to keep up while his fellow coworkers just chit chatted. Any well ran restaurant would have THEIR MANAGERS and BARTENDERS back up the 1 busy waiter, and help him bus the tables and run drinks. So, I've been here several times now, at various times and on various days...I haven't ever had any terrible experiences here, and in fact, have been very satisfied each time. I have been concerned after seeing some of these reviews - and on a few trips, I've seen some tables get ignored, not ever get their food, have their waiter never bring the check by...so I know there are still some kinks being worked out. It's a nice sized restaurant, pretty open walkways, lots of seating options... it's what you would expect with a Chili's. The parking is a little strange, the main parking lot is around the back side, and there's a semi-long walk down a ramp if you park along the side. Food-wise, my partner and I have always gotten our food out at a good pace and have had good attention by our servers on drink refills (also to-go drinks with our check, A+!) and getting our checks quickly. Nothing to complain about our service! All in all, I have never really had anything to complain about at this location. I'd give it 5 stars based on my experiences alone, but considering I've seen something go wrong at a table close by almost every time I've been here, I just can't. I kind of feel bad with all these negative reviews already, but it's hard to expect 100% perfection from a place that was only open a few weeks. I'd give them another chance. read more

This is a very nice Chili's, one of the nicest I've experienced. The staff are so friendly, and the service is quick. Food was good, too. We had lunch here recently, and it was really enjoyable. The lunch portions are just right. Just be careful of the table app. We accidentally played a $0.99 game of trivia, and there wasn't an option to cancel the game. My husband and I recently moved into the area. The night that we were moving in into our apartment, we needed a nice restaurant to talk, laugh, and relax. We went on a Saturday evening, which of course they are going to be busy, but we got our food in a very timely manner, and it was absolutely delicious. Had the pleasure of going to this Chili's for a quick lunch. I am truly impressed at my experience. All aspects of the visit were amazing, from the quick seating to the great tasting food. And I can't say enough about my server Acacia! She was attentive, courteous, friendly and made the visit ever more pleasant. Can't say I've had anyone make a lunch break as satisfying as she did. Every time I visit Chili's in Pflugerville I am amazed by the speed, efficiency, and how well trained the employees are. This Chili's by far has the best well-prepared food, considerate and, alert staff. The other location I believe was in round rock they took forever to seat us and did not really give us any information on how long it would take and it wasn't fairly clean. While this location seated us right away and the host was very polite. At the Chili's in Pflugerville, every so often, the waiter would come circle around and asked if we needed anything or would check if we needed refills. My family and I are never disappointed when it comes to the food, I usually order the endless soups and salads which contain Chicken Enchilada soup and a caesar salad with ranch dressing. I remember one time how my order was incorrect and the waiter, sadly I don't remember his name, was polite and apologized for the inconvenience and he took it upon himself to take my order off the bill and have it become free and he also gave me another free soup. Overall the atmosphere of the place is well put together, it is also very clean, including the bathrooms. First time eating here with my family and our experience was great. The service was excellent and the food was awesome! We decided to do the $22 for two for my fiance and my in-laws also did the same. It comes with one appetizer & two big entrees, so we chose their chips and salsa. For the entree we chose the bacon burger (comes with fries) and their bacon ranch chicken quesadillas (comes with sour cream, lettuce & pico de gallo.) Their burger was okay, kind of greasy, I think they put butter on top of the bun. The burger was a little hard to eat because it was over-cooked so the meat was tough. The fries were alright.. My in-laws got the Texas cheese fries (comes with bacon, jalapeno, ranch, green onions) -- it was really good! The two entrees they chose was the Margarita chicken which comes with black beans and rice & their steak and broccoli. Their sodas were bottomless so we got free refills & to-go cups as well. There's a reason why this particular Chili's has an average 2 star rating in contrast to other comparable options in the area or even other Chili's establishments. My family and I have given them multiple opportunities since we enjoy the atmosphere, menu and price of food chain itself but my recent experience at this particular establishment will also be my last. Every single time we've come to this Chili's the service is abysmal. I don't have a high expectation coming in so I'm not someone that demands the type of service you'd get at a 4-star restaurant but when you have to wait over 5 minutes to have a server even come greet you after being seated during their slow period, then you know something's up. Most people would assume it's a lack of available waiters or over-crowded rush hour but every time we've gone, we make sure to go in between 'rush' hours. During our last visit, I saw waiters sitting in the back chit-chatting; again I'm not a uptight customer who doesn't want servers to have a quick breather but while we waited for our initial welcome none of the servers were even walking the floor to check on other patrons. The hostess (who was not very friendly in greeting us to begin with) looked over at us a few times during our wait and didn't even come by to apologize. We decided to walk-out, in full view of the manager in charge who didn't say anything either. The visit before this last one, they got our order wrong and that was after they brought our orders out at different time intervals. On top of that, we waited a relatively long time to even get the appetizers and chips we ordered. Essentially, nothing about their service is redeemable. When we informed the manager, she just apologized and offered us a free dessert. This is my first time writing a negative review of a chain restaurant on Yelp because I usually let a lot of these things roll off my back but this place is terrible.
