Love this bar. Adam is the man. Not only does he serve the highest quality of drinks. He makes sure its spotless. When hes not mixing drinks, hes picking up trash and whipping down bars/tables . This guy is on his business. I highly recommend this establishment. Especially when Adam is the bartender! He should be promoted ASAP! read more

Pflutto's Tavern - Adam best bartender ever! - Sports Bars Near Me - Pflugerville, Texas

Natasha has to be the rudest bartender in Williamson Co. goes out of her way to make sure she didn't serve me. Didn't know the smell was awful. Will not be going back again read more

Went here for the first time, first thing friends and i noticed was the awful smell of vomit walking towards the door. Went inside just to experience a rude bartender, will not be back to try again. read more

on march 17th I'm not the kind to complain but when I go out somewhere I like to think I'm in a safe place. most of the people here were friendly and welcoming however I was told by one person that I was in danger being there and then proceeded to pull a knife on me and warned me to leave. when the bartender saw the knife all he did is tell the guy to put it away. are you kidding me I do t care if the guy was drunk or sober that should not be acceptable behavior anywhere and should have been an immediate expulsion. I couldn't get out of there fast enough and was even told he was gonna follow me out. needless to say I shant be returning to this place any time soon. read more

Good drink prices overall and the staff have always been very friendly. I had a lot of fun one Monday night playing their free poker tournament and have been trying to get back to play again. The slot games are fun and the screens, mouse, and surfaces around them have always been clean enough for me. I am a smoker and it seems that is a major issue among other reviewers, but places that allow smoking are few and far between these days so it's a plus for me. read more

This place sucks and the bartender can't take a joke so he'd rather cut off industry workers who tip well. I'll take my money elsewhere. So sorry when you asked my birthday and I said 11/11 I didn't know you meant for me to say Veterans Day read more

This is a good local bar with a primarily friendly blue collar crowd. The owners have upgraded the ventilation system to clean out smoke and it is very efficient. Several large screens for sports, gaming and a good variety of beverages, including craft beers and good quality liquor. The staff are friendly as are the patrons. They have live music as well as a small patio area. You can have food delivered there as well, I think, so it's a well rounded place to enjoy the game, or play games and hang out. I've been going occasionally since they opened and it has improved every time I have gone. Give it a try and see what you think! read more

Don't recommend. Super Smokey. Bartender is rude and creepy staring. No food. And beer tastes like the smoke

Great bar to hang out and enjoy drinks billiards, and fun Cozy, simple bar close to home. Love thT it is right down the road from home! read more

This is a great local bar. Sitting here for my first time feeling welcome and well taken care of. Played pool, drank some beers and had a fun time. read more

This review is for other bands that might be thinking about playing at this venue. Directions: Finding the place is simple. Directions on the web appear to be accurate. Load-In: Pflutto's is in a small strip center, so there is no tandem parking at this location. Thus, if you use a trailer to haul your gear, you will have to park it on the shoulder of the side street that's outside the strip center's parking lot. Fortunately, there is room to park temporarily just outside the club, but don't block any parked cars because some parking spots are used by delivery vehicles for the pizza place next door and you will have to move while loading/unloading so they can get in and out. Once you're temporarily parked, it's just a short carry to get your gear into the club. Stage: This is a small club with a very small stage. Even for a trio, we couldn't fit the monitors and mic stands on the stage. There are two doors to the venue, one on each side of the stage. For this reason, you can't just put your PA columns on the floor on either side of the stage because you will block the doors. We ended up putting a column on the far side of each door, which meant running the cables from the power amps (located on the stage) across the doorway. On one side, we used a floor cable bridge to protect the cables from foot traffic. On the other, we strung the cables above the door. Be sure you plan for this before you come. As at many other clubs, this stage has recessed power outlets around the edge of the stage. I'm sure this seems like a great idea when they're building the stage but, in practice, it's a problem. The well in which each outlet is located will not fit oddly shaped plugs, triple taps or over-sized plugs. If you have right-angle plugs or any other shape where the cord does not come straight out the back of the plug, you will need some sort of adapter to be able to plug it in. Also, for some strange reason, there is a steel structural beam that comes out of the ceiling at an angle and attaches to the stage floor on one side. This is guaranteed to be an inconvenience for you if have a drum kit or any sizable equipment. On the plus side, although the stage is surrounded by windows on two sides, the venue has wisely covered them with curtains, so we didn't have to deal with excessive feedback. The stage is also solid underfoot and carpeted. Lighting: The venue does have not have stage lighting so you'll need to bring your own. Sound System: The venue has no sound system so you will need to provide your own. Layout: Some of your audience will be directly in front of you but most will be to your far left, so you will want to allow for this as you set up your FOH system. Also, the bar is in front and to your left, so if you don't want to be told to turn down all night you may want to also take this into account when placing your FOH system. Volume: We were able to bring our volume up to what we considered a comfortable level for a classic rock band with no complaints from management. Comfort: The venue is entirely indoors with central heat and air conditioning, so temperatures were quite comfortable. Venue Management: Pleasant and easy to work with. read more

My wife and I have been coming here regularly since they opened a year ago. The owners Ron and Cindy are dedicated to providing a relaxed respectful respite to all their loyal patrons. Cindy is the consummate host. If you haven't been there and you go, she will find you and make you feel at home. You'll know her by her scarlet locks and unbridled spirit. Another thing I like about this tavern is the bar tending staff. Whether it's Caleb, Russell, Michelle, Jessica or Dee, they got you covered. They are a patchwork of vastly different personalities but all share the following attributes: a genuine desire to work there, an easy smile, And affable way. Never know when the next spontaneous improv act is gonna happen here. All of the bar tending staff are very professional and take great care of their customers. The bar manager, Alicia is stellar at bringing in quality entertainment. They even have a tarot card reader who regularly provides free reading to the loyal faithful. And whether your thing is playing pool, watching football, playing golf on the big interactive or donating to our nations veterans, Pfluttos has something for everyone. *Drink specials every night read more

Pflutto's Tavern - Once again This place is awesome great bar tender and service locals yakking away awesome!!!! - Sports Bars Near Me - Pflugerville, Texas

I stayed in the area for a few months for work and this was my weekend/weekday/any day SPOT. The bartenders are all awesome and the music made it the perfect chill spot. It holds a place in my heart now lol, if I'm back in the area that's where I'm going again read more

This could be a really cool place. One of those places that could easily become the local neighborhood "go to" bar. BUT, as others have stated.. the horrible smokey air is unbearable. It made the time I spent there miserable. There wasn't enough alcohol in the world to make it an enjoyable experience. The potential is definitely there... If only the owner(s) would consider making it a smoke free establishment. read more

A Great Neighborhood type bar. Cold Beer, Cold Air Conditioning. Very Laidback crowd, friendly Staff. Gaming machines, TouchTunes Jukebox, and pretty good Live bands on Friday & Saturday nights. Smoking inside is allowed, but it doesn't get that bad. There is plenty of room to go sit away from it if smoking bothers you. Stop in and have a drink and some fun ! read more

I was happy to see a bar opening up so close to my house. When it opened, I went to check it out but they allow SMOKING. Even though it had only been open a few days at that point it, the smell was horrible. I hope they change this, even then, to get cigarette smoke out of a place is very hard. Congratulations on opening a new bar but I doubt the smokers that go will keep the place going. read more

Dear Alicia S. of Pflutto's Tavern - Business Manager, After all of the reviews I've read, you may reconsider your stance on "always aim to be a place where people feel welcome, including smokers". Clearly you are loosing a huge fan base by not creating an outdoor experience for the smokers. Too bad, this was a huge opportunity to corner the market...you blew it. Literally. Peace read more

Love this bar, it's right by my house. Drinks aren't overpriced, live music is good, karaoke is awesome and they have sweepstakes!

Okay so my husband and I almost didn't come here due to the reviews. Then we decided to read the reviews. 99% was complaining about the smoking and gaming being around 3-4K homes. Well, we live in this neighborhood, in a 3k home, and we happen to be smokers and love the games. This is absolutely an amazing place, clean, relaxing environment. Staff is super friendly. We will make this our regular place verses driving across town to relax. Great live band tonight, stopped games to sit and listen. Jeremy and Tyler are awesome bartenders and hosts for this establishment. read more

Stopped by tonight... my lord there were some incredibly drunk people... the woman at the table beside me was wasted, as I'm walking to my car, the wife leading her husband to the car he could barely stand... the word of the day is DRAM... get your shit together before you guys kill someone... and I don't smoke but can deal, you have a patio ... move smoking out there... but the main reason for the one star is the blatant over serving that could kill someone ... TABC should camp out read more

If your a smoker - I guess it's the place for you ..... but to walk in and the bartender is even smoking - is just effing GROSS! For just a short hop Down the road you can go the the Growler in Pflugerville or Downtown Hall Of Fame in Hutto For a smoke FREE environment- its 2017 get a vape .... or how bout QUIT smoking and do everyone a favor - you don't realize the STENCH that fumes off of you that the rest of us have to smell .....its offensive .... maybe like this post to some - read more

Great place to kick your shoes off and stay awhile.. the staff is never nothing less then amazing. The owners wonder in and out from time to time and treat everyone so wonderful.. the bar seems to always being doing something fun. Poker. Bands. Karaoke. drawings.. great selection of beer and liquor, not so much on wine but it works.. pool tables, top golf, and donation slots. It is a smoking establishment but I've never left smelling like an ashtray. They do have a small outside patio and plenty of parking. read more

Was really excited to check this place out because it looks really nice and it's not that shithole Uncle Gary's. Unfortunately, they allow smoking, and that is a deal breaker for me. Smoking is disgusting and I don't want to breathe someone else's filthy habit. read more

Have been waiting for this place to open, finally had the chance to check it out and you walk in and boom, people are SMOKING? Really? people still smoke? It's still allowed inside? What? Such a let down. We turned around and walked out. If you want this place to be for everyone get the place aired out and move the smokers outside. Until then, no thanks. read more

Bar tenders are awesome. Have something going every night. Live music kicks ass. Great bar

Same as the other reviewers...this place has potential to be a nice little hangout, but not until they "clear the air". Husband and I walked in, stood at the bar for about 15 seconds, then walked out. We could not get past the smoke smell, and it ruined it for us. The front doors were even wide open, and still the smoke was overwhelming. Hopefully the owners read the reviews and will make a change soon. Really disappointed. read more

I was excited that this place was opening until I walked in and found out it is a smoking bar. I'm sorry, no can do. I respect their right to operate the business as they see fit, but I'm disappointed they went in that direction. I'll give them another chance should they decide to clear the air. read more

Pros: Bar staff are really friendly, lots of TVs etc and Pool Tables etc.. Big Con: Smoking and Smoking and more smoking. Heard a rumor that they will be going smoke free when they get their patio setup. I just don't see that happening. They already have their smoking regulars firmly planted. Also, unnecessary gaming kiosks... just brings in some shady characters. Little disappointed with it. Oh well, on to the next one. read more

It was a Thursday night with two friends and I. It was my first time, and I really enjoyed myself. Everybody is great, the drinks are amazing, and affordable; overall it was a great atmosphere. No complaints, I recommend checking out this place. read more

I really wish the bar tenders were more attentive.... good atmosphere but a little Smokey.

Love this place. Alicia behind the bar is super friendly. Good beer selection. Clean bathrooms. I can even smoke in here, which I know is the only reason this place got bad reviews, but it ain't bothering my non smoking peeps. Good ventilation. I'll be back for sure. Gotta check out the live music on the weekends. read more

Yes, there is smoking. It's a bar. Four hours of second hand smoke won't kill you. Great live music.

All though this bar is located somewhat outside of Austin, it is still a really fun bar. The bartenders are awesome and it's really enjoyable. read more

I wouldnt even give it one star!!! We walked in, sat at the bar and got ingored for the 10 minutes we waited until we walked out. You can smell the smoke before you even walkes in!!!! read more

It is hard to enjoy a place where you can barely breathe. Replies to Facebook reviews said once they opened the patio there would be no more smoking inside. Unfortunately that is not the case as the replies to reviews on here have shown. They also replied stating they would add smoke eaters. That does not appear to be true either. They'd rather cater to a few regulars dropping money in the slot machines and smoking than try and attract a new crowd. That is their right as a business. But it is hardly enjoyable to be in a closed in room with thick cigarette smoke and then to go home smelling like it. They had a decent artist come play one time which was my second and probably last time there. Sad since it is a nice sized neighborhood bar with a friendly staff. read more

Wow. Thought we'd try something new so I walked in with my pregnant wife only to be blown away immediately by the heavy cigarette smoke! It's weird to see people smoking these days let alone indoors. Never EVER coming back, period. read more

Great set up, but not prepared to open. First visit they didn't have all of the mixers in. Second visit, mixers are in, but bottle beer is from cooler. Only one bartender for entire place caused long delays. Owner was there and watched as employees drowned. Took money out of tip jar in middle of bar and started counting. Owner seemed more worried about drinking than pitching in to help customers. Hopefully they can work out bugs and get real cooker and second bartender and serving station. read more
