The area is huge, with plenty of tables and space to mingle. If I could give more than 5 stars I would because of what happened afterward. I forgot a very sentimental purse there. I called as soon as we got home and the manager, Vannessa, stayed in touch with me over text, coordinating with the staff and cleaning crew to track it down. Weeks went by and just this morning I got a text that she had found it. It's in the mail on the way home. I'm so touched by this gesture and will be sure to visit again when we are back in Austin.

When she discovered we were celebrating my friend's birthday, she rallied everyone at the bar and throughout the lounge area to sing "Happy Birthday." The gesture was unexpected, heartfelt, and instantly made the evening feel special. As fate would have it, another guest was celebrating a birthday as well, so the entire group enthusiastically sang for her too. It was so mint forward from the creme de mint that it over powered the drink. I felt like I was drinking mouthwash. It did come with some complimentary sweets, water, slippers and robe. Another interesting benefit - they have a shuttle service for 3 mile radius around the hotel. The benefits don't end here. They also have a $25 credit if you eat/drink at their bar/restaurant. Isn't that cool? They have a pretty cool swimming pool too. I was happy to find sunscreen available at the pool! The following evening, a coworker and I enjoyed drinks and shared a slice of cheesecake at the bar downstairs, and it was another great experience.
