I went there for breakfast with my work friends. There were no other customers (literally) and it also makes sense, because it is a 4-star hotel plus it was a random Wednesday. We made a reservation for 14 people and were able to have comfortable seating. The price of the food looked very reasonable. Some good options available. The waiter was friendly. I got the Sunrise Bowl. It had poached eggs and chicken sausage. The poached eggs were heavenly and made to perfection. I usually don't like chicken sausage but this one was good. The meal was very bland, but it wasn't bad. Also got cappucino, which was alright. Nothing extra-ordinary. Be wary of nearby parking. They only had 1-hr parking spots available.

The check in was very straightforward at the front desk. The room was nice and clean. They also provided Fuji water and Caramels as a welcome to Austin! Getting ready for bed, my partner realized his electric toothbrush was missing the toothbrush head!! Oh no! He called the front desk and one arrived at our door within minutes. Amazingly quick service at 11pm. The domain area is a great place to stay if you want to have bars, restaurants, and shopping within walking distance. The Archer has a dedicated area for parking which is extremely convenient to not have to search for street parking. If you're here in Austin on a business trip, the hotel bar opens at 6:30 AM for breakfast which is helpful when you have morning meetings to get to.

We had the perfect staycation weekend at the Archer Hotel in Austin and are already talking about coming back again! From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome - especially Julian, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless and special. It's rare to come across service that feels that personal and effortless. Our room (the Den with a balcony) was a highlight in itself. The space was cozy but elevated, and the balcony views overlooking The Domain made it the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening wind-downs. It really gave the whole stay that "escape without leaving the city" vibe. One of the best parts of staying here is the location. You can step right outside and be surrounded by incredible restaurants, shops, and things to do. We loved not having to drive anywhere and just exploring everything on foot. Overall, it was the ideal mix of fun and relaxation. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or just a recharge weekend, the Archer delivers. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a true staycation experience in Austin.

I'm at the Archer Hotel to volunteer for the Battle of the Brains. This is the seventh annual HBCU Battle of the Brains competition where teams of students from HBCUs around the country determine which school is the HBCU Battle of the Brains Champion. These students do a case study which mimics real life business scenarios.

I love this boutique hotel. The location in Domain is perfect. All staff from hotel checkin to bar/restaurant to valet to cleaners are all wonderful and polite. Room was very comfortable. Definitely will stay here next time I'm in the area. I must check out their other locations too.

We came here on a mom and kids getaway weekend and we had a great time. First the location of the hotel is in the domain which is literally steps away from around. Surrounded by so many places. The rooms are amazing. We had two rooms, a double queen and a double king. Each room comes with fridge, robes, house shoes, wine cups and more. For cleanliness I give it a 8/10 . But over all this hotel is literally one of the best ever. The rooftop pool was very nice. There is a bar there, cabanas, towels, free flavor waters, sunblock and shaded areas. The onky con thatbi could find was that the rooms didn't have USB plugs but that's not a big deal. The food in the restaurant was amazing. We ate there for brwaklunch and dinner and was never disappointed. I normally don't care to eat hotel food but this restaurant was great. Service was amazing. Everyone was so professional and helpful. They even gave us two cribs for the babies which really helped us alot. We will definitely be back!

Overall, the Archer Hotel is a beautiful building with intricate decor at their restaurant and bar. They especially did not skimp when it came to Christmas decorations, and it made the perfect setting for a small Christmas party with co-workers and their plus ones. As for food, they had decent vegetarian options like brussels sprouts and fries as appetizers, and pizzas like wild mushroom and margherita. They were also able to sub in blue cheese for the wild mushroom, swapping out the taleggio. It made for a fun, custom option and I'm glad they obliged.

If you want a hotel that has a working fireplace on your balcony, this is the hotel for you! We splurged on a staycation night away from the kids and Archer Hotel did not disappoint! Turn down service with treats, welcome waters, a bathtub big enough for two...this place is amazing! The bed was super comfortable and soft, but if you prefer a bed with a bit of bounce this bed is not for you. The hotel itself has valet parking and is located smack in the middle of the Domain, making it very convenient for a weekend away. They have room service, a fully stocked mini bar, and tons of little welcoming touches like a cowboy ducky for the bathtub. Want a fancy city hotel without driving into the city? This is the place for you!

Drinks are expensive and served in what feels like miniature target brand, low-quality glasses, which makes the value proposition hard to justify the steep $14 price. The atmosphere is where it really falls apart. The space is set up like a bright, casual brunch hall rather than a cocktail bar--harsh, bright lighting, uncomfortable wooden chairs, and basic wooden square tables that don't align with the concept AT ALL. There's no food offering, yet the environment feels designed for daytime dining rather than an evening bar experience. From a design and hospitality standpoint, it's difficult to understand how this made it to opening in its current state. Even a VERY basic understanding of lighting and ambiance would suggest this setup is fundamentally mismatched--ESPECIALLY for something like a date night. If you're looking for a comfortable or intimate setting, this is NOT it. You'd honestly have a better experience sitting outside a gas station with a 6-pack of Coors Light.

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. And, at both breakfasts Amy made me feel especially welcome! The table came with a bottle of water for self-service, which I appreciated. The wine list was of good quality. As for the salmon, it wasn't overly seasoned and was incredibly flaky. It was a good size as well. For breakfast, The Breakfast Plate's eggs were cooked perfectly with appropriately cooked bacon. I enjoyed the potatoes that accompanied it as well. The Buttermilk Pancakes meal was a failure though. The pancakes were gooey inside. My server, Amy, offered to have them remade, but I declined the offer. So I accepted a parfait, which was easily one of the best I've had in Austin. The granola with the berries were perfectly balanced, and the granola wasn't super chunky. Amy was 100% invested in my meal satisfaction. The dining room is quite pretty with lovely set tables. The space mixes art deco with a little bit of Spanish flair, tucked beside/adjacent to Mama Betty's. It's big, but arranged in a way that still feels cozy and social. The crowd? We Ubered there, so I didn't get a full picture of the parking, but it seems like there may be a little parking garage or validated parking area? Maybe a pay for parking? I would read other reviews. Most of the staff? Fantastic. Professional, warm, funny. Our assigned waitress, however, gave off overwhelmed and low-energy. She was short with communication and it sort of dulled our sparkle for a moment, but the drinks and vibes quickly brought it back. Had we had another waitress, this place would have been a 10 out of 10. On to the drinks: Round one: espresso martinis (made with Tito's). Slightly sweet, bold, smooth, and very sippable. No coffee bean decorations on top, but full of flavor. No cream inside...sort of reminding you of a Black Russian. Served in a ribbed coupe glass. Round two: French 75s with Hendrick's. Punchy lemon flavor, a tad sweet, lower champagne notes but still giving French 75. Garnished with a dried lime slice instead of a lemon. Served elegant in those ribbed coupe glasses (which fit the aesthetic perfectly). The cocktails are well-crafted and intentional. They aren't overly boozy, but they are balanced, smooth and polished. Bathrooms? Immaculate. Unisex. Private stall rooms with their own individual doors. Efficient and modern. No long lines. Opportunity to mingle with the opposite sex in the bathroom if that suits your fancy. Foxtail feels like a good place to start a new chapter. We had good conversations and we enjoyed staying out just a little longer than we planned. Their Happy Hour (4:30-6pm weekdays) is officially on my radar for the future. I'll be back. I want this place to be routine. 9 out of 10.
