Rey went over a list of recommendations of different flavors for us to try and we decided to trust his judgment and picked a flavor he recommended. We didn't wait long to get our hookah; maybe five minutes. The flavor was spot on (mango, vanilla, watermelon). The bowl lasted well over an hour and Kamran frequently checked in on us and changed our coals for new ones without us having to ask once. After visiting several other hookah lounges, i expected to pay between $22-$25. But the hookah was cheap!! Only $17! All in all the best experience i've ever had at a hookah lounge. The water cools the smoke but does not remove harmful chemicals." Although it had a different name (Desert Kings), it was a hookah lounge. While the area is relatively small, they had roped off VIP sections with bottle service. We did not have any food as at this juncture we were not hungry. Because 77 Degrees has an open air setting, it was pleasant to sit and watch the band.

I'm not sure how quality the shisha was, but the entire time our hookah burned way too hot so it was hard to inhale and I have a feeling the "ice hose" only made matters worse. I have never had such a harsh hookah experience in my life! Both my friend and I were coughing and the guy never came to check on us. I kept trying to move the coals around and even removed all but one, but it continued to be very harsh to inhale, so after about 30mins, my friend and I just gave up and left. For the steep price of $20 (which usually there are special prices for that late at night at other places I have gone) for the awful experience, I will not be back.

The flavor was fruity, light and was cheap. We weren't on a weekend so we didn't have to hit the per person minimum. The only downside was that since it was midweek they closed at the 'earlier' time of around midnight and they let us stay as close to closing as possible without interfering with their closing procedures.
