I also like the layout of this 54th St. because the dining space is spread out and separate from the bar area but there is a lot of bar space as well depending on what you are looking for. This is a newer restaurant so the design and decore is more of a modern elegant look. I like the fact that you can order off of the happy hour menu in the bar or dining area and they have a lot to offer on their happy hour menu, including drinks and appetizers. At the time I visited, they offered a separate menu that allows you to pair up with another diner at your table to order a combination of select meals, appetizers, drinks, and desserts for a really good combination price. We chose a combination that gave us each an alcoholic beverage, a shared appetizer, and two entrées. We shared the gringo dip and chips and for my entrée I had the chicken bucatini. It was a delicious blackened chicken and pasta in an alfredo sauce and it was delicious. My daughter had a soup and sandwich combo. That was a very generous portion for the price point as well. There are definitely deals to be had but more importantly, I found the food and service to be spot on and it didn't break the bank.

We came in on a Saturday afternoon with a group of three and had no wait at all, which was a nice bonus. I'd say this place is a step above your typical neighborhood Applebee's or Chili's, so it's a little pricier than those spots -- but you can taste the difference. For an appetizer, we ordered the chips with Gringo Dip, which is one of my favorites. I usually go with the Rattlesnake Pasta (it has a nice little kick to it), but this time I tried the Gyro Pita with fries. The portions were generous, and the gyro was delicious and very filling. I'm personally not a big fan of lettuce in my gyro, but it didn't take away from the overall flavor.

Directly behind the Limestone Village shopping complex is this massive place. Huge game room/arcade complex is upstairs and the restaurant on the bottom floor. The service & food was MUCH better than the reviews on this platform stated. Drinks: water (nice & cold) and the Jellyfish ale, Food: we shared the MASSIVE nacho platter w/beef chorizo which we didn't finish - it was too much for us both and it tasted Great! The size of the serving platter will utterly astound you so be ready for a stuffed gut! We both ordered the Baha chicken wraps & fries; we had to take these home with us and consumed them the next night: best wraps I've had served from any establishment and this was a day after we purchased them. We left impressed, will definitely return and highly recommend The Goat to all to try out for themselves! We hope you leave as satisfied as we did! Great portion too. - 2 people ordered blackened catfish and both loved it. They're baked potato was huge and loaded, there's sweet potato fries were waffle and delicious and their mashed potatoes and chips and salsa. We're both excellent sides as well. - kiddo had a kids burger and fries and loved it. -I had black and chicken with a side, Caesar salad and the sautéed vegetables and I was not excited but needed to eat something to keep up with my macros, and the chicken was flavorful and delicious, the vegetables were seasoned well, and the salad was wonderful as well. We were greeted by a lovely waitress who checked in on us and offered drink refills throughout our visit. The atmosphere felt very family friendly and welcoming. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was solid and satisfying. My guests both had the fried catfish and shrimp combo with mashed potatoes, and after trying both, I have to say those were excellent, honestly, I would choose that over the chicken fried steak next time. Overall, great food, friendly service, and a comfortable casual dining experience. Noticed they have a location in Leander as well, so I'll definitely be stopping by that one in the future!

My girls are begging for anchor wings nightly, the 9yo loves their retrial and the 7yo loves the jerk, I personally love the honey siracha and babe alert ranch. Now the honey siracha, it's listed as like the one of the hottest, no sir it's barely spicy at all, I still love it but just saying. Wait staff is always awesome, friendly and super helpful. Only complaint is we saw they have .99c wings on Tuesdays, it says limit 10, which was perfect for the girls and I since we can't eat more than 6. The waiter said it's a misprint and supposed to say 10 minimum. That was frustrating and sad because we would go every Tuesday if we could order less, 10 is way too much for all 3 of us and all 3 like different flavors so sharing won't work either. Love the hand cleaning station, although it looks like it could use a cleaning itself lol. But 5 stars because yesssss, the food and the service are so good. Wait one more complaint, sorry! The skillet cookie, way too expensive for what you get AND the skillet is tiny it's impossible to eat without getting burned. Knowing it was bringing hot and being careful all 3 of us still left with burns.

Now, I'm sure it's great to have an air conditioned space for us dog people in the summer months, but it's a small space with bad acoustics that ultimately made our furbaby fairly anxious. Frankly, the food wasn't worth the wait and that hurt my heart a little since I spent a great deal of my formative years roaming around upstate NY eating wings modeled after the original Anchor Bar's offerings in Buffalo.

It's definitely a destination, in the sense that you're not going to just stumble across it on your next walk. I happen to love this vibe. The crowd skews a bit older, despite the fact that cocktails range from $8 - 10. When I went, it was chill, and a big country band was out jamming on the gazebo. There's also a smaller stage indoors. They brew/distill everything on sight and I've been told there are sporadic tours, which I really want in on. Hopefully those start up again soon! I know I'll be back for a bottle of whiskey, regardless.

It tasted like a frozen burger. For the price they could have done a hand formed decent burger. I didn't order the $20 burger because that's just too much meat (1/2 lb). Hubby ordered the filet $37, he thought it was good, but over priced. You get some yummy mashed potatoes but no side salad or veggies. Hmmm! We also ordered the happy hour deviled eggs. They covered them in what I think was chili powder. The filling itself was good but getting a mouthful of chili powder was off putting. The waiter was really good. He kept our drinks full. The food came out fast too. For this price I hold them to a higher standard. They aren't giving high end quality, so next time we will find someplace else.

Plenty of outdoor tvs and you can hear the sports on the tv so much appreciated to get a good drink and watch sports. The venue is clean, large open spaces, big drink menu so any beer and cocktail they got it. For me the location, how clean the inside and outside was, the fun factor is a solid 10/10. Great overall atmosphere. I will say the let down is some of the food items, it needs help. I only took pictures of the fish n chips meal but I ordered fried pickles, had a few wings, chips and dip, and egg rolls. The egg rolls are nice and crunchy, it had a corn and bean interior, nice warm with the extra crispy exterior. Good ranch dipping sauce. The wings are also good, crispy exterior nice fluffy chicken interior, it's not the best wings I've had but also not the worst. The flavor menu is a little short so you're not going to get a ton to choose from. The chips and salsa, the queso is amazing. Nice creamy, thick, cheese flavor, the salsa is nice and semi chunky. Both hold on to chips but the chips we got were ultra stale. I mean rock hard. We asked for new chips and luckily the new chips were fresh. The let down had to be the fish and chips. The batter was too thick, the batter also was still raw. The cod is nice and semi thick, still cooked all the way but since the batter was soo thick, it didn't have that crisp factor the crunchy flavor was gone, it didn't have the crispy exterior. In the pictures you'll see how thick it was. The waffle fries were ok, not the best not the worst just in the middle, still crispy but it was semi cold when we got them.
