We came here about 3 months ago with my cousins from El Paso. We had such a great time hanging out, getting excellent service and playing Big Buck Hunter. The staff was so nice they allowed us to stay a bit later in order to finish our game time. Very relaxed, cool atmosphere and I'd definitely recommend anyone coming through round rock, stop in and say hello!!

I came to this bar with a friend on August 23rd. We had a few cocktails and listened to the d.j. spin some tunes. In general, this establishment is conveniently located in downtown round rock with a small parking lot across the street. Consumers can select to sit outside at the outside bar or the inside bar. The inside has a wide bar, music and a television on which sports are played. The drinks are a bit pricey, but then again it is a bar!

Round rocks newest bar! Very large outdoor area currently featuring portable AC units. + Outdoor bar Indoor bar Outside games Inside games Reasonable prices Happy hour Street parking Sparkling bathrooms Cold booze Craft beers on tap Crap beers on tap - Small private parking lot The music is currently terrible Apparently they have live music on weekends. Looking forward to seeing this place stick around. With some cozy fire pits this could be THE spot for cool fall/winter evenings!

Not a bad little bar. We were looking to get out of Austin and slow down a bit and this fit the bill. Not too busy and bar was stocked. Lots of outdoor games and drinks weren't too expensive. There's a food truck out front in case you get hungry. Will definitely go back.

Bar service was attentive and the DJ played a mix of songs . The crowd ranges in age but mainly more mature . Interesting mix of clientele . The crowd seemed to enjoy the outdoor area more than indoors . I think they have a rotation of events but noT sure . They have TVs inside .

Always get the best service from Ray, Adam & Paul. Friendly and funny. I like the games outside too!

We planned to sit inside but my word, inside was disgusting, so loud, and full of unsupervised young kids. We ended up sitting outside, no one said a word to us, not a word. We figured out how to scan the menu and order. Food came and the queso was more like beer queso you want for pretzels it was not recuedros queso just for those going for that. Kids meal was $10, came with fries and 2 chicken tenders, they were thin one of our girls wouldn't eat them, no drink that we know of as no one helps us. The tacos were packed in a tin and were so greasy it ruined the other tortillas. My carne guisada was huge chunks of pure fat. We left after spending $100, tipped 15% because I couldn't bring myself to do less but other than someone running the food to us the did nothing. We did self serve water and the flies were so bad (as to be expected outside) we had to just throw away stuff as we were "done" with it so nothing for them to even clean up. We left disappointed and hungry. I truly do not understand where the 4-5 stars are coming from. Service was non existent, atmosphere was run down and dirty, food was sub par at best. Two stars only because of I was in my mid 20's and looking for a place to watch a UT game it was totally my vibe. But other than the Vision it is a 0-1 star for me. Ugh I'm so sorry :( maybe we just had a bad experience.

The stage is very large and has screens depending on the performer. The sound system is also really great. They have parking in the back of the venue, and someone is always out there watching over the vehicles. They do have food vendors and a couple of bars. If you want a seated experience, check out the Beer Garden section or the Grove. They have picnic table seating over there along with some free tables. If you purchase a general admission ticket you can bring a blanket or throw to sit on the ground. With the artist they have brought in the last 2 years staying seated was not an option for me and my friends. I really like that this spot is outside of Austin, affordable, and goes out their way to make sure the customer is happy. Bonus is you can smoke or vape with no issues.

Outdoor venues in the Texas summer are tricky as is...summers here are brutal and they definitely need more shady areas. I felt bad for the performers who were directly in the sun. We would have benefitted from more stand up tables in the shady areas off to the sides. Cons: No matter what event, you're going to end up paying for parking. The signage to enter the venue from the highway was not great. We ended up following other cars to find our way there since the access road entry was blocked off. Also, the lines to the bar were not long so I'm confused why it took so long to get through the line. The pros: nice newer venue with a big stage and a good sound system. Lots of space and good grass to set out a blanket and relax. The margaritas at the fest were delicious! My fave was the watermelon.

Whenever we go to Round Rock we always say we should stop at this place and never do. They've got this really interesting outdoor patio scene happening that we've wanted to be a part of (you know, hanging out and relaxing with a beverage). Today (5/7/26) we got the chance to do it. We walked in the front door around 4 pm and there were maybe 2-3 people sitting at the bar. Decent enough looking bar interior. Kinda rustic meets dive. We immediately went out a door on the left of the entrance that led to the patio. It felt like the best kind of playground. Lots of room, colorful tables and chairs, an outdoor stage, an exterior walk up window to the bar, cool lighting, and so on. I was like a kid in a candy store! Loved it. My boyfriend and I decided we'd use the outdoor walk-up to place an order and sit outside. I told him I wanted to grab a couple of quick pics. While exploring the patio, there were three men outside as well. One looked to be a maintenance or perhaps construction worker. I figured he was doing repairs or maybe there after work. All of a sudden, one of the men asks if they could help us. My boyfriend simply said, "oh she's just grabbing a couple of pictures before we order". The second man in the group told me I couldn't do that. I thought he was kidding. I kind of chuckled and told him, "it's so cute here I just want to grab a couple of pictures before we order and it's a public setting". The construction worker guy pipes in that it's private property. I told them I didn't mean any harm and that I was excited to be there and I wanted to capture it for my memories and for a Yelp review. The first guy told me I "wasn't going to do that". Folks, I was flabbergasted! Everyone in Round Rock is so polite and kind and this was nothing short of bizarre. When he said that I said "ok" and we walked back through the bar to leave. I apologized to the bartender that we wouldn't be ordering after all and told her what happened. She just kind of looked at me. Pretty sure she was in a state of shock. She said nothing at all. A customer sitting at the bar kept shaking her head in disbelief at what we'd just experienced. I mean isn't the idea of being in business to have customers? Especially during a slow time when you don't have a large customer base present to generate income? Honestly, as I type this, I still can't believe this situation took place. I absolutely hate to leave bad reviews but sometimes you just don't have a choice. Needless to say, The Long Branch Saloon will NEVER get a dime from me.

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. I went to the bar and ordered (no wait staff at the tables). I ordered the Fish-n-Chips w/ a Pearl Snap, my date had the Biggy BBQ Mac Burger with a Dragon Fruit Daiquiri. For the positives: our drinks were very good, hard to mess up a draught beer, but it was not flat & just cold enough. She absolutely loved the daiquiri, side note- she's with me so standards aren't super high. Bar staff were super helpful and attentive, patio was very chill and secluded from the other spots surrounding it. The bathroom was clean and didn't smell like vomit. Negatives: My fish and chips were below expectations. Their grease was entirely too hot and it was flash fried causing the batter to be too crispy and the fish was piping hot. The selection of cod was not good either most of the pieces were blackened meat and the chips were crinkle cut fries, a letdown. I wasn't expecting a London level plate but it was a very sad and lonely one. Her burger was loaded with BBQ sauce and her mac-n-cheese balls were fried similarly causing the same burnt batter. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at a chain beer joint, looking at you Fox and Hound, but it wasn't close to the best. The Flying Saucer has a very good bar style fish and chips plate that costs about the same but they pay attention to the details that make it better. Overall I would not recommend and I will not be going back but in a pinch it won't make you sick.

We were a table of 12, but that wasn't really the problem. One person who ordered, her food was given to someone else. When she inquired, she ordered again and it took over an hour to get her food. Her second beer never arrived. Unfortunately, she said this is the norm here. She comes here often, mainly for the entertainment. The server was quick to take our original orders, but follow up was zero. No attempts to get second drinks, any other food, nothing. It wasn't that busy, so I'm not sure why the service was so bad. I flagged him down for my second drink after waiting over an hour, and my friend was still waiting for her beer. It was like our table was in the ignore zone. I would come back again, but would probably order from the bar for drinks. 20% tip was included in the bill because of large party.
