I was very disappointed with the service. I open a tab at the bar. I went by myself and the bartender lost my tab then the next day I was charged twice on my card. I called on Monday and no callback from anyone. I call today and the worker let me know I had 2 tabs open..... This is ridiculous that I can't get a manager to call me back and correct this error on their part. Don't open a tab there. You will be paying for other people's drinks if you watch it.* Update*!!! Still can't get my money back. Truly horrible. A place like this can't handle crowds. They will take your money. read more

We came here about 3 months ago with my cousins from El Paso. We had such a great time hanging out, getting excellent service and playing Big Buck Hunter. The staff was so nice they allowed us to stay a bit later in order to finish our game time. I came to this bar with a friend on August 23rd. We had a few cocktails and listened to the d.j. spin some tunes. In general, this establishment is conveniently located in downtown round rock with a small parking lot across the street. Consumers can select to sit outside at the outside bar or the inside bar. The inside has a wide bar, music and a television on which sports are played. The drinks are a bit pricey, but then again it is a bar! read more

I've always loved the music at this establishment. They have yard games as well such as connect four and jenga. Everyone always seems to be having a great time = good energy. read more

We came to The Flats with a group of 7 people (all over 30). My husband (who has an expired ID, but a valid paper issued ID) was told he had to leave the bar entirely. Please note that there were multiple children in the bar AND the bartender refused to serve me (I have a valid Texas ID). Nobody in our group looks remotely under 21. I understand the necessity to adhere to local laws, but this guy wouldn't accept a valid copy of a government issues ID. He also allowed at least three children (less than 10 years old) to be in the bar over my 32 year old husband. To top this off: the bartender admitted to other people in our party that he has no knowledge of mixed drinks. An Old Fashioned was ordered and he had no idea. So sad overall. We were hoping the patio area and overall bar would become a local favorite, but we were treated so poorly. 10/10 do not recommend. Go elsewhere. I recommend Urban Eat. Drink. right down the street. read more

Bar service was attentive and the DJ played a mix of songs . The crowd ranges in age but mainly more mature . Interesting mix of clientele . The crowd seemed to enjoy the outdoor area more than indoors . I think they have a rotation of events but noT sure . They have TVs inside . read more

This is my go to spot! My wife and I love this place. Spacious, good people, good music!

One of RR's best new spots. Fun outdoor are with games like cornhole, big Jenga, and others. Inside is also fun but a little small. My only complaints have been a couple of awful bartenders. I am pretty sure they were just brought in to help on busy nights but still they were bad. The bar manager Adam is great and always on point with the drinks. read more

The Flats is the best thing to happen in the summer of 2019! Nice bar off the main strip. Beautiful patio pet friendly patio. It's a great place to grab a pint at a decent price. The staff is incredible! I love coming in to see Ray, Adam, and Paul because they make you feel like family the minute you walk in on your first visit. This was avneat place and lively crowd. My hubby and I went last night and decided to sit inside and listen to great music. We went pretty early at about 8 and it wasn't super packed outside yet or inside. We sat at the bar and watched customer after customer get served drinks people started coming in from the packed bar outside and we we waited. We didnt cause a stink even when one of the bartenders (after a lull) went in the back and got a salad and came back and started eating at the bottom of the bar. My husband and I are AA and would hate to think that's why we weren't getting served. So I finally snapped at the bartender girl after the 7th person and said we are next we've been sitting here. After that we get drinks. Then some large crowds came in and we didn't have a problem after that..the place is super neat and would still go back in spite of that strange exchange. read more

Bartenders care about patrons! I witnessed a bartender I later found out was Stephanie in the restroom with a clearly upset customer. I don't know the story was, but I overheard enough to know that there was a potential domestic violence situation going on. Stephanie was talking to this women about a plan to quietly ask the other person in question to leave and make sure the women was safe. I feel way better and safer going to this bar knowing there are such amazing people working here. read more

I went to The Flats while in Austin& Round Rock area a couple night after visiting The Alcove in same area from the suggestion of an awesome bartender, Shyenne. It was great! Had more of an open area, jukebox and patio. The patio was very quaint with intriguing table & heat lamps. My dad and I even played connect 4 on the large outdoor game on our way in. Will be going back again. Oh and Shyenne was the bartender there that night which was a bonus! read more
