This Chili's is similar to the rest. The service is good most of the time, the food is good all the time, and the burgers are good every time. The price is comparable to most franchise chains. Thanks to a gift card my wife and I came in this store. I immediately browsed the burgers settling on the Ultimate Bacon Burger. This is a burger with double bacon, cheddar, pickles, lettuce, red onion, tomato, jalapeño aioli, spicy Buffalo sauce & honey chipotle sauce, all grilled to perfection and served with home fries. This is the 3rd time I've visited this location within the last 2 years and all 3 times have been disappointing. 1st time customer service was terrible, but I gave them a pass and wrote it off as waiters bad day. The next time their system went down completely and everything had to be handwritten and things took forever. Once again wrote that off as not completely their fault but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth. This time I placed a to go order on 6/7/2020 to be ready at 5pm. It was chips and salsa and 2 meals. I got there at 4:57 and waited for my food for over an hour...I didn't get my food until after 6pm. They were closing at 6pm due to the curfew so they had to get everyone out of there. I asked to speak to the manager and she wrote it off. She told me they got slammed at 5:15 due to closing early. I told her I was there before that and I did see everyone pull up since I was there. Manager didn't have anything to say to defend her restaurants poor service and told me that I was being rude. On top of that when I got home the salads that went with our meals were wrong. NEVER in my life have I ever been discriminated against until now!!! Our party of 5 came in to have lunch. Plenty of tables open mind you. However my cousin is in a wheelchair for now so we were told that there is a 30 minute wait, why? Because they didn't have a table ready. Then 3 people come in, get seated right away! Then we are told that they are short staffed. 4 people walk in and they get seated right away. Now I ask for the manager which took a while to talk to her. after speaking with her and explain what just happened, now she is scrambling to find us a seat. Too late it was very obvious the reason we were not sat. Again the reason used was because of short staff yet anyone else "walking" in. she asked what I thought the reason was and I replied "Ask captain organized" oddly enough she took offense to that?? We opted for a couple beers, salad, & chicken wings which was more than enough to fill us up. Went to Chilies today for lunch at noon. There were not many people there and seemed to have been staffed pretty well in comparison to past visits recently. I asked for a table instead of a booth because I had a person with me who does not do Booths well because of size. I looked around upon entering and there were. Several tables I could see from the door. We were told that the only tables available were in the bar and they were the high tables. Totally not workable for us!!! I asked about other places in the restaurant that tables were open and said that they could not be used. No reason why given and this was Not a good answer! We left . My experience at this restaurant was not good. To start off we had got dirty silverware. Then the waitress hardly ever came around and what she did should forget some of the things that we asked her for it. To top things off we placed an order to go and it took them like 40 minutes to make one dozen bonus wings. They were supposed to be loaded but when we got home and looked at them there was like three or four tiny pieces of bacon on it barely sprinkled with some sauce and cheese on like two or three of the boneless wings and that was it very bad experience. The food was ordered to go. The person who took the oder was nice and so was the person who turned it in. My boyfriend got the Cajun shrimp with pasta and I got the 6oz steak medium well with two sides. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal I however didn't. They didn't even provide us with utensils and napkins with our meal. I felt like my steak was tough to cut through. We literally live 5 minutes away and I felt like my steak was barely warm and the cheese on top of my loaded potato was hardly melted. We waited an hour and we were there before lunch rush. But everyone that came in after us two to three where served before us after we waited over an hour. Besides that our waitress decides to serve us our drinks with the bar glasses which are not very big. And everyone else got their regular size drinks. So my husband had to ask for a reg glass and then the waitress came back with another drink and husband asked for a straw and never brought it. The crazy part is we continuous watched the waitress trying to avoid us. When our fiod came after an hour or more wait. We have no fries and dried chicken wings and hards soft tacos. So instead of heating and eating at home we stopped by one of family favorites. Service was great, Tyler was fast and friendly and the food was great as always! My son had a Southern Smokehouse Bacon Burger, loaded with bacon and onion strings, sampled a few they were full of flavor! WORST experience ever with a well established chain restaurant. Only deserving of a 1 because of the digital game on the table which thankfully kept my grandsons busy and the guacamole which was very good. We were seated right away... After 10 minutes of waiters walking past us looking mer right in the eye I had to ask the gal that seated us if we had a waiter! Really? So after 20 minutes we finally had something to eat. It took another 20 minutes to get our food. I got the pork fajitas which clearly had been sitting in water to stay moist. Disgusting. The boys had chicken tenders which were tough, dry and cold. The table to the left of us got a completely wrong order. Not a mix up. The waiter simply didn't write it down correctly and blamed it on the man for not understanding him! I want to add that when the table next to us was seated a man with the group announced to the waiter that if the service and food were as bad as their last experience they would never be back! We took my mom in for her first outing after surgery today. The chips were very good. That is the LAST NICE thing I have to say. The salsa was acceptable. The hostess was very unfriendly and seemed confused. Really poor attitude. She put us in a spot where my mom could not get through with her walker. Our food took over 40 minutes to arrive. Two meals took an additional five minutes to come out. My mom's steak was well done, ordered med. rare. They took the steak and then seem surprised when five minutes later I asked them to take the plate away and bring out fresh fries, bread and veg WITH THE STEAK when it was finished! The waiter was perplexed as to why she might like her whole meal at the same time. I finally told them to forget the steak dinner. We were leaving. The manager came over and was completely clueless about how poor his staff was performing and how crappy the food was. He could have cared less. He thinks schmoozing is going to make us forget the crap show they just put on? Puleeze!! That server should be spending his time in his station instead of hiding out in the kitchen until he HAS to come out. That is a surefire way to fail to see what you need to see. My fajitas tasted like the sizzling skillet they were on. There was no other flavor there. The side of beans and rice was a complete joke. It was flavorless as well. The cheese that came with the order seemed fake. Don't sell Mexican food if you are going to fail to put any authentic flavors in. We ate at Chili's on Nov 22nd, 2016. We arrived in time for Happy hour. I was expecting some reasonably priced beers and api's but was disappointed. No real deals to be had compared to Kona Grill or Pita Jungle. Food and service was slightly above average. On all tables they have electronic screens for looking at the food and drink menus...you can also pay for your bill with a quick swipe of your card. .....be careful because the Ziosk charges to play games, yes really! What a dumb idea!!!!! as if people aren't already too consumed with their portable electronic devices, Chili's decided to install screens at all their tables so that guests will even be more distracted and have less conversation than before. This Chili's is a great neighborhood restaurant. I love how this Chili's is always clean and the staff is always super friendly. Chili's is always a great supporter of the local schools so they always give out free kids meals with purchase of adult meal or some kind of special to bring us in....and we do! They have a great deals on lunch and happy hour specials. My husband review would be 2 stars based on poor beer selection on tap and the last time he ordered nachos......he wouldn't call them nachos, he was disappointed. Filthy! What is it with restaurants not deep cleaning the high chairs? My kids highchair had smashed food on the seat strap that I unfortunately had to touch to latch her in and the highchair itself was greasy. Menus were greasy and the tablet (yes, before my little one started to play with it), was greasy. Food was ok, not thrilled about the menu cuts/changes. Southwest eggrolls used to be stuffed with filling, not much of anything inside them anymore. Minimum wage went up so yes, Chili's is definitely one of the restaurants who raised their prices as well as reduced portion size dramatically! $17 for an appitizer-sized plate of fajitas. Tiny dallop of slightly brown, bland guacamole, only enough to spread evenly on two of the four fajitas. Not impressed, won't be back. Used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Bummer. read more

The hostess was out right rude, you can at least pretend to like your job and stay off your phone for 5 seconds, that in itself is unprofessional. We were told that there was open seating at the bar and then directed to a dirty table, no urgency to clean. Upon receiving my water, there were several black speck floating around the cup. What saved this from being a 1 star review was our attentive and caring waitress, Lindsay and my Caribbean salad. Chili's can be a little inconsistent at times, but one thing I love is that they always have some kind of deal or coupon available for their customers. You have to show some respect for a place like that. The service at this particular location was awesome, but the food itself varies depending on what you order. Some things are very good while others are awful. Stick to the fajitas and you will be fine. I also enjoy their boneless wings and the dessert cookie is delicious. Should have listened to all the other horrible reviews. I get the same thing every time I go to Chili's for probably 15 years now. The food was very hot (right out of the fryer); however, not that good. The chicken crispers had more fat and tendon than meat and were far greaser than normal, the southwest egg rolls barely had any filling, and the avocado ranch appeared to be missing the avocado (asked server if I got the correct dip and she confirmed it was the avocado ranch). Ordered online and ended up having to wait 12 minutes to get my order. The site said it would be ready at 2:17pm and I didn't get there till 2:25. Took about 5 minutes to get acknowledged. I actually had to let one of the girl's know I was there to pick up an online order. Even then all she said was, "just wait by the bar, she'll be right out." I honestly have never had a bad experience at Chili's in Mesa on Power Rd. The food is always awesome, the employees go out of their way to assist. We either at least once a week. To me it is one of the best restaurants around. The wait isn't always fun, but it is well worth it. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for there. I am hooked. read more
