Carrabba's absolutely saved our daughter's 8th birthday today! After driving an hour to another restaurant only to be turned away, we arrived at Carrabba's with a very disappointed little girl. From the moment we walked in, the staff was kind, welcoming, and made us feel like they genuinely cared. Our daughter finally got her "fancy pasta," and the food was delicious. More importantly, they turned what started as a heartbreaking birthday into a special memory. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly, and they treated us with such kindness. The wait wasn't too long. The hostess seemed new and inexperienced but tried hard to help. The waitress was okay leaving our drink unfilled for a little longer than should be. We probably needed more drinks because nearly all our food was extremely salty. The calamari appetizer was salty and it overwhelmed any other flavor. Our main dishes came out just after the appetizer was put on the table. The waitress apologized but still put the food down so we felt rushed. The lentil and sausage soup had only two pieces of sausage in it and wasn't very good. The chicken parm was the only thing that was edible. The pasta that came on the chicken parm had a very strange flavor in the sauce and I couldn't stand more than one bite. The atmosphere was nice. They could have chosen better music, but that's a personal thing I guess. The restaurant was clean. All and all I told my wife we should have gone to Olive Garden or Sal's Gilbert Pizza. At least we would have had better food and saved some $'s. read more

5 stars for being a mid-level family friendly restaurant, not the same 5 stars as a Ruth's Chris or Steak 44, but we had a 5-star experience here with our kids on a Saturday. We went around 3:15, which was great for happy hour and almost no one inside. Service was quick and friendly, the food tasted good, and they were able to accommodate our substitutions and requests (asking for butter instead of the oil they bring with the bread, plain spaghetti for the kids, etc.) Good experience and food was hot and really good (lasagna was weakest part of menu but everything else was good). Welp. Carrabba's has finally slid in the ranks to the level of IHOP Quality offerings. I hate even saying this but I would rather have eaten at OLIVE GARDEN. (Involuntary shudder) Our first mistake was remembering how consistent they are; how dependable the hot fresh bread and dipping oil usually is, how the crisp cold Caesar salad with their dressing that is almost as good as homemade was at one time. Not at this time, however. When you order delivery for that extra $30 PLUS A TIP...expect NONE of that. DO expect old ass, reheated bread, a portion of dipping spice that is LITERALLY a legal "pinch", fettuccine that is glued together yet miraculously still ice cold and flavorless, chicken piccata with ZERO lemon flavor and a sauce that can only be called a "slurry" because it was pretty evident it was just a thick sludge of cornstarch and broth. Friends, Ed Gein ate better. The Caesar salad, once heralded for its cold, crisp freshness was warm and soggy and now in a smaller styrofoam container that demonstrates the fact that Carrabbas is really just trying to save money at this point. Forget flavor, forget freshness. Forget customers, mostly. So, so disappointing. What used to be reliable and decent is now pretty much on the level with fast food. Such a shame. We came in on a Tuesday evening with a party of 12 to celebrate a birthday party. I will note that they do not accept reservations. However, I do believe you can call ahead to be added to the waitlist. We did not call ahead, we tested our luck, assuming a Tuesday night would not be the busiest night. Luckily, We were seated within 10 minutes - It was not very busy! Our waitress, Amanda, was friendly, attentive & got our orders filled accurately. We don't usually have the best luck with waitstaff when it comes to larger parties. Amanda's service was a breath of fresh air! We also split the bill 5 ways. She did an excellent job taking care of that for us. My husband and I split the Fettuccine Carrabba & I ordered an additional side salad (the entree comes with choice of soup or salad) The food was excellent! Their Alfredo is more flavorful than Olive Garden, in my opinion. &The portions are huge! We made a good call on splitting the plate! We had a great time & did not feel rushed at all. Chain restaurants kind of get a bad rap. You know what you're getting when you dine here which is comforting. True confession: we went for the bread. Hey, they give you a basket of hot, crusty bread with olive oil and herbs to dip it in. It's really good. We're not drawn to the pasta here. I like the Polllo Rosa Maria with its fontina cheese, prosciutto, and basil lemon butter sauce. It's always enough for a second meal for me. I chose the house salad with creamy parmesan dressing as my first side. It was unremarkable - but you could also pick a different salad option or soup. For my second side I opted to pay $3.49 extra for fettuccine alfredo but you have other choices for free. I would say the entree and bread tasted very good while the rest of the meal was just average, but our server was very attentive and nice. We haven't been here for a few years and were looking forward to some Italian and catching up with friends. Ambiance 5/5 The dining room tables and chairs have been updated since our last visit. There appeared to be fewer tables in the dining room giving it a more open feel which was a nice surprise. I recall our last few visits we always had a rickety rocking chair. The lighting seemed brighter to my Wife and I because we noticed the flooring also looked nicer perhaps replaced or refinished? Service 5/5 We arrived just before the dinner rush and were seated quickly by the Hostess. We were greeted by our server Rachael and her server in training. They took our beverage orders returning with our drinks, Bread and dipping oil. Our long dinner service and overdue catching up began. Throughout our dinner Rachael and her trainee were very attentive talking care of refills and removing plates in a timely fashion. Fantastic service! Menu 5/5 It's been too long since our last visit to know if the menu was updated but it had all the favorites we've come to expect from an Italian restaurant. My wife went with a large Salad for her entree and I picked their Lasagna dish. All our food was out in 15 minutes or less. My wife enjoyed her salad and my Lasagna was delicious but it was served on a cold plate that chilled the Lasagna temperature too fast. Despite that it was flavorful and I had leftovers. We stayed 30 minutes longer than our dinner service enjoying conversation which to the Restaurants credit was possible because of the low ambient noise level and we were never pressured to hit the road. My wife, daughter and I went to Carrabba's last night. It must have been an off night because usually, the service is quick and attentive. Unfortunately, while our waitress was friendly, it appears she had too many tables assigned. All facets of the meal from ordering, serving and even getting the bill, were long. It was even noticeable to the manager who offered gift cards but I declined the offer. Although later, my daughter noticed we had been overcharged for a drink and the manager realized it was the same table she had previously offered the gift cards to and my daughter accepted. Disappointing because the food was great and we all did enjoy the food, drinks and dessert. We will go again hoping the service will improve.my wife had the soup as she does not eat much and this is her favorite soup. My daughter had the lobster ravioli and thoroughly enjoyed it. Absolutely amazing! Mouth watering food, great service & chill atmosphere. Bar offers TVs for viewing pleasure. Came on a Saturday night at 7pm and didn't have to wait to be seated. Was greeted immediately by our server, who was patient and offered suggestions. I ended up ordering the Chicken Trio, but instead of goat cheese, I requested mozzarella (same as servers suggestion). My food arrived with goat cheese, but the server got me a new one with mozzarella. My entree came with a Caesar salad, which was amazing! I hate when there are a bunch of stems that need to be cut out and I might've picked out 5 pieces total. Dressing was so good! We also got the Italian classic trio with lasagna, chicken Parmesan and fettuccine alfredo. The chicken parm was the smallest piece of chicken I've ever seen served, but tasted good. It had been the longest time since I had visited Carrabba's. It was not at all crowded during lunch, we got seated right away. They had a pretty good lunch menu, initially they forgot to give it to us. So we had to ask for it. My friend got the lunch lasagna, the portions were quite big for a lunch. They also had some bread for us on the table and were kind enough to offer a refill as well. I decided to go with the regular chicken paramesean. It was tender and crunchy hoever slightly on the thinner side. But it was good. I also got a soup and mashed potato to go with it. The flavor on the mashed potatoes was really good or was garlic flavored. The soup also had a lot of chicken, the bread and soup by itself was quite filling. It's been a little over a year since I've been to crab. And this time was a lot better than the last time I was there. They didn't have my old dish. I can't remember the name of it, but I was talking to the waiter and they did the best they could to re-create the dish and it came out pretty good, the ham is still a very good dish. No complaints at all. Our waiter he was great. Make sure we had everything. Make sure our glasses were full. Checked on us periodically very good all in all. The ambience was your normal restaurant ambience music in the background, and also just the chatter of other people around you. All in all just a great experience all the way around. read more

We pulled up to this Carrabba's and thought it was closed because there were only two or three cars in the parking lot. It was 12:10 on a Sunday and we literally stood at the front hostess stand for almost five minutes and weren't greeted. There was a gentleman working at the bar and two servers (We had plenty of time to watch the whole operation). I ended up calling on my mobile phone and then after hearing the phone ring, the bartender decided to come greet us. Upon sitting down we noticed our table was dirty. So was the table across from us. They had only been open an hour and there were only two or three tables that had guests dining. So were the tables not wiped down the night before? At this point we decided to walk out. We've been dining at this Carrabba's for many years and were blown away at our experience today! This was our second visit to this location. This visit was just OK. Service was good and my chicken marsala was juicy, tender and seasoned well as usual. I guess my complaint for this visit was the salads. I had the ceasar which seemed pre-made and sitting in the refrigerator too long so the romaine was wilted. We've been there a few times - but this was probably our last time (wanted to go to San & Luca but they're closed ion Sunday!) husband had chicken Parm. It looked gross, like a microwave dinner. I tried the chicken Brian pizza. It was definitely a frozen pizza and had a cup of butter sauce on top - basically inedible gross. Our server noticed I didn't eat my pizza and was like want to see a manager? Free dessert? One to take home? No thanks bro I just want edible food. Lame HH drink specials, like none really. Bread was delicious and is served with oil and herbs; needed some balsamic but none was offered. Place was not full at all, but server didn't check on our table or offer more water or drinks. She was pleasant enough, though. Food was tasty enough and we had leftovers for dinner the next night. Arrived at 4:45 and then waited 45 minutes and called 3 times with no one able to locate our order. Finally the food came out cold...the time stamp on the bag was an hour before! No apology, no manager visit, nothing done to attempt to make it right, which is what most people want, especially for a $56 order for 2 entrees that came out in small portions. read more

First time trying this spot out and I was no disappointed! They first service you with bread with olive oil and seasoning. The seasoning was great! I had the shrimp and scallop allá vodka and it was SO GOOD! They gave me a good amount of scallops and shrimp and they were good sizes. Both past dishes were huge and great for leftovers the next day. With the dishes we also got a salad. The house and Cesar salad was great. When I got home I found no extra sauce and the pasta was falling apart which turns it into mush. Ended up throwing most of it away. With tip this was a $30 waste of money. We had a fantastic dining experience here. Carrabba's has never been a greasy spoon, red sause Italian restaurant. It's definitely a step above. My wife and I always sit at the bar. I had chicken Marsala and my Wife had chicken piccata. Both were deliciously outstanding. The star of the show, though, were our two bartenders. Gabriel and Guillermo. For a delivery order, this was pretty good! A teensy on the overpriced side, but not unhappy with the overall. I got the Mezzaluna. A ravioli with a good mix of protein, spinach & cheese. It was very good! But, a little on the dry side. There was not enough marinara to accompany the entirety. Flavor & substance/portion was great, just lacking in sauce to keep it flowing. I always love their bread! But, only got a weak version of barely seasoned olive oil in my delivery. I missed the balsamic & herbs. Thankfully I keep a supply on hand at home. But, plain olive oil is not ideal. I went for the garden salad & am glad. It offers more substance than the Caesar, and the dressing is fabulous! Could use a few more croutons, but I love the addition of Kalamata olives. Paired with the creamy Italian dressing, it is probably my favorite salad. The cannoli are well worth it! 2 modern size- enough for 4 people to split because they are RICH! Thankfully they last because they come in pairs & it took me 4 days. But, again very good. Not too heavy on the ricotta but not too sweet- the flavor is good & the chocolate artwork drizzle in the box was nice! Of course, dining in is always a much better experience, but they do well for takeaway/delivery! I love it in a sudden Italian craving- you can't go wrong with much on their menu. I love this place it was my 1st time and the staff was terrific, very attentive but not annoying, The food was delicious. I tried the chicken and it was flavorful and not dry but moist. The meatballs were soft and melted in my mouth and went really well with the ricotta. If you like veggies the broccoli was just perfect I could eat a popcorn bowl of that alone lol. We had just gotten out of a movie next door and headed here for the dinner part of our date night. Upon entry we immediately noticed the huge jug of hand sanitizer, available to anyone that felt the need to use it. There was about a 30-40-minute wait, but it went by fast. We were able to browse the menus on our phones during that time. We were seated in the back, near the kitchen and the spot was very cozy. I love the open kitchen concept; it is nice to witness the magic happening. I appreciated the fact that the booth was spaced large enough, between the table and the seat, that I could fit comfortably. Being a larger woman, tight booths are very uncomfortable, and this is the first thing that I pay attention to. I ordered a Pomegranate Martini; it was so tasty and refreshing! My husband had a Blackberry Sangria, and I am definitely getting one of those next time! We both decided on the Mezzaluna as our entree, with a side garden salad and Italian dressing. The bread and oil were brought out right away. The bread was the perfect texture, not too hard, not too soft. Dipping it in the oil and seasonings was divine. Such a burst of flavor! Our salads were great as well. Mine had a bit much red onion for my taste, but that is neither here nor there. When the Mezzaluna came out, we were not disappointed! I love ravioli, and this was probably the best that I have ever had in my life. Most places we go to use very minimal spices and seasonings and we have to add salt and pepper. The sauce on the Mezzaluna was so flavorful, it absolutely melted in my mouth. I didn't need to add anything outside of the parmesan cheese. Nothing was overpowering, there were no aftertastes. It was just really great food in a fantastic atmosphere. Unfortunately, we had to pass on desert because we were both so full. The portions are very generous, but not outrageous, some leftovers were brought home for another meal. We will definitely be back, there are so many other dishes that I want to try.
