8/9/25 Party of four, early Diner with friends. Parking 5/5 Arrived just before 5 pm. Lots of Resturant parking including a few by by the door. Atmosphere 5/5 Contemporary modern Italian, tables and booths. Service 5/5 We were quickly greeted by our server Jaylynn. She brought menus, and took our drink orders. Like many of you reading this review, we've returned and ordered our favorite go-to's and almost everyone tonight did just that. This review focuses on my order which was the full Mixed Spring salad and the two meatball appetizer and the excellent service we received from Jaylynn. She never missed an opportunity to check in with us, from refills to dish clearing and dessert offerings. I would ask for her again, as she enjoyed what she was doing, it's been hit and miss here which can make the difference in your experience. Did you have supper or dinner with service that was prompt friendly and un-rushed? Food 5/5 Everyone enjoyed their choices tonight and I love their Spring Mix salad ingredients including the Vinaigrette, each elevating flavors and textures. Our part of dinner for two $56.65 including tip. Eat well with friends-SYOY!

Pete's Pink Fettuccine - note its messy as it was half eaten. Really enjoyed the sauce! Wonderful flavors, the pasta was itself was ok.

It's a good American Italian restaurant. The food is what you expect. I do like the variety of white/cream sauces. The restaurants are always clean, I have found the staff to generally be responsive and friendly. Our server last night was a delight. This is a great place in a pinch if you are craving a pasta dish or a pizza/calzone. Prices are reasonable too.

Bread served with olive oil in balsamic

I used to go to another location of babbo quite often, but I've never been to this one. It looks much smaller than the one I had been to but pretty much the same kind of decor, dark wood tables, some booths, and some regular tables. There was a small bar, but to be honest I didn't take a close look. The girl who's her best was very nice and our food came out quickly. When I got there my friend already had the bread with olive oil and balsamic. The bread really is delicious. We both ordered sandwiches. My friend ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which comes on focaccia, and I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich on focaccia. My sandwich was just okay, and she said hers was too. The highlight was the zucchini chips on the side. They were delicious! It does look like they're pasta is reasonably priced, but I have to say I have never had pasta at babbo. I've always had sandwiches. Maybe next time.

Creamy Mushroom & Asparagus -tasteless. The majority of the small to go container was pasta.

I ordered to go to pick up a mushroom asparagus with penne pasta. Add chicken for six dollars extra. It came up total for $26. I was craving Italian food so I was excited to get it. When I picked it up, I was so shocked of what I received. It was a small to go container with a bunch of penne pasta, sprinkle it in a couple mushrooms and asparagus. The chicken was tiny for six bucks. I tasted the pasta, and there was no flavor. I couldn't believe. I waited an extra 15 minutes to get bread. This place really let themselves go because I catered before for a wedding and it was fabulous so I was quite disappointed on my meal. I probably won't come here again, unfortunately.

The bread was hot and fresh. The steak panino tasted good, but was a bit skimpy on the steak. The zucca chips were plentiful and tasty. I'd rather hear Italian music than pop/hop for more ambience. The server, while polite didn't smile much. The restaurant itself was very clean, but the men's room floor was sticky.

Cinnamon hot honey crunch sooo good!

Delicious food but our server Angelina was very un-attentive. Friendly manager working though. Definitely recommend the cinnamon hot honey crunch dessert - it was so good!

Love the menu listing the vegetarian options for pizza. Wish they had their pastas and salads listed out too.

Babbo's has the beat salads. I was surprised that they didn't have any kale salad tonight, but the spring salad was great without kale.

Have you ever stalked a food truck like it was your ex on Instagram, hoping and praying they would…read morefinally settle down and open a permanent location? And then imagine finding out that said location is INSIDE an incredible brewery. Baby... when I tell you I almost ascended. Hello? Excuse me? Did the pizza and beer gods personally hear my dramatic little prayers? Did they not only bless us with this heavenly combo, but ALSO decide to rotate different pizza specials every single week just to keep me emotionally unstable? Because THEY. DID. I genuinely cannot stop talking about this place. At this point my friends are one more pizza rant away from blocking my number, but I refuse to apologize. Every single time I go, I convince myself this is my favorite pizza... and then next week they drop another masterpiece and suddenly I'm questioning everything I thought I knew about myself. What makes this place so ridiculously good is that they are fearless. They're out here using sauces as bases that other pizza places would clutch their pearls over. Ingredients that sound chaotic on paper somehow turn into the most beautiful, life-altering bite you've ever had. It's giving culinary drag performance. Bold. Unexpected. A little dramatic. Perfect execution. And the brewery vibe? Elite. The energy is fun, relaxed, a little loud in the best way, and honestly the perfect setting to destroy an entire pizza while pretending you'll "just have one slice." Lies. All lies. The beer pairings somehow make every flavor pop even more, which feels scientifically unfair. Also can we normalize restaurants understanding that pizza should be FUN? Because this place gets it. They're creative without being pretentious, experimental without losing quality, and somehow every pie still feels comforting and familiar while also making you gasp like you just heard fresh gossip. At this point I don't even ask what the special is anymore. I just trust them blindly like a toxic relationship, except this one actually delivers happiness. 10/10. Life-changing. Emotionally supportive pizza.

If you're in downtown Mesa and you're looking to grab a bite to eat and maybe have a drink or two,…read moreyou should consider swinging by Goat and Ram This spot has all the small batch brewery vibes, but is also a very popular pizza parlor. Located on the main drag of downtown Mesa you can eat inside or on the patio. There aren't servers, instead, you order at the front desk. The menu has a variety of options, mostly pizza (both classics and signature pies). There is also a bar area where you can grab a pint or two of local brews The interior was electric with people enjoying pizza, locations, watching the Olympics, and just unwinding for the day. We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad came out first, and the pizzas weren't far behind Being a self-proclaimed pizza snob, the pizza was fine. It wasn't overly flavorful, and it didn't blow me away, but it also didn't disappoint. The salad was LOADED with toppings, and I was somewhat impressed there. Unfortunately, polling the group, the beer was slightly lackluster. But again, this spot is a fun vibe and is great if you want to hang out for a bit and enjoy a brewery/pizza parlor type atmosphere Some tips: When you're done with your drinks and meal consider walking down the Main Street and stopping by one of their many bars, museums, and other eateries There isn't a lot of parking off the main drag, but we were fortunate enough to find parking on a few different occasions Cheers!

The pancakes with bacon cooked right into them were such a fun twist and tasted amazing. The green chili bowl had great flavor with a nice kick, but it wasn't overly spicy. We made reservations at Pizzicata in anticipation of both Valentine's Day and the need to re-carb after the event. We arrived at the host stand a few minutes before our reservation, but were told that there were no indoor tables available. If we wanted to be seated immediately, we'd have to accept an outdoor table, even though we had a reservation for indoor seating. We opted to wait because the weather was chilly by Arizona standards, and we were still recovering from the race. A couple of minutes later, another hostess approached us and asked whether we had reservations and were waiting. When we confirmed, she immediately left to find us a table, and we were seated very shortly afterwards. I thought very little of this until the owner came to our table and apologized for the issue. He was kind and sincere in his regret for the situation and was excited to tell us about the staff and the food. We were wildly appreciative of this attention to detail and service! We shared the potato croquettes, and they were everything I was hoping they'd be and more. (Light lore: I chose Pizzicata because I saw a picture of these croquettes on their online menu.) For dinner, my husband had the Travolta pizza, and I had the gnocchi gorgonzola. We both did that thing where we sat back in our chairs, breathed deeply, and declared, "oh dang, that's goooood." We were both so happy with our choices - I can't speak to the pizza, but that was some of the best gnocchi I've ever had. Pillowy soft in this perfectly nutty, cheesy, creamy sauce. *chef's kiss* For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, which was perfect in every way. If we weren't already walking funny because of the race, we'd have still waddled out of Pizzicata from happy fullness. The service, the food, the vibe - we're here for it and we'll be back the next time we're in Mesa.

I just think when it first started getting popular, the 2 hour waits were a bit extreme. The Shirley Temple is always a must though! It's basically like any Shirley Temple you've had before, but honestly that's what makes it good. No need to fix something that's not broken! We also got the fried mushrooms which were just okay to me. I mostly enjoyed them dipped in ranch. My friend got the buffalo chicken pizza too, and while I'm personally not a huge fan of that kind of pizza, they seemed to really enjoy it! The tiramisu was delicious though, probably the best part of the meal honestly. Our server was super nice, attentive, and helpful throughout the whole meal. The inside has your classic casual pizza shop vibe, definitely a nice spot to grab some slices and hang out with friends!
