When we walked tonight, our hostess has a big smile and a fun personality. This is a good size space and we enjoyed the decor. We quickly received our drinks and Kendra helped us choose from the menu. Don ordered the Zany Zita and liked it. It came out hot and cheesy. I ordered the Shrimply Caprese which was full of flavor! These are large portions and now we have lunch for tomorrow. Yum! It would be nice to see diabetic friendly options like "zoodles" or Spaghetti Squash options. Pizza is judged harshly when we order out because my husband makes the best pizza I've ever had. That said, the pizza was delicious here and we were very pleased. My husband ordered the mushroom pepperoni, and I ordered the pesto with sausage. Very good. The thing that would make it a bit better would be more flavor from the sauce. My friends brought me here and I'm glad they did. I ordered the stuffed ziti and added the meatballs and it was good. It came out bubbling hot with a ton of cheese, and the meatballs were a nice size, flavorful, and not dry like a lot of places. The portion was just right too. The place itself has a nice vibe and it feels like somewhere you can just hang out. Service was on point, our server was friendly and even joked with us. Happy Mother's Day! Was craving spicy Cajun pasta so we came to here. Restaurant was busy and we got a table right away. Greeted by a young lady who was so bubbly and sweet. Ordered side Caesar salad- so delicious with their homemade croutons. Had garlic bread and marinara - ugh it was just okay. Husband ordered the 6 pack shrimp. Good sized shrimp but had to ask for more butter sauce as it was dry. The butter sauce was super flavorful. And I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta. I've ordered this numerous times before. It was so disappointing! The chicken was like rubber and the dish isn't the same. I sent it back as I barely touched it. Best part was the Caesar salad. Worth the holiday they had plenty of staff and must have had 5 managers working. They walked past it table numerous times and not one stopped to ask how things were or to see that my pasta dish was almost untouched. Oh my goodness, I was craving meatballs the whole weekend and I go to this place. The meatballs are dry and horrible. The pasta was atrocious. It was really clumpy with Angel hair pasta, and the sauce taste like can. I was so disappointed my husband ordered an 18 inch pizza that was atrocious to the waitress blonde with the glasses was obnoxious and the manager did not want to take it off the bill so I had to order chicken wings I asked for all flats and I got a bunch of drumsticks go figure just wasn't for me. As you can probably tell from the photos-we were so hungry when we arrived and couldn't wait to dig in! From the moment we walked in, I loved the feel of the restaurant. It had a cozy, family-owned vibe, and everyone who worked there was incredibly kind and welcoming. One detail I especially appreciated was the old TVs playing shows like I Love Lucy instead of the usual sports or news--it added such a fun, nostalgic touch. The wall decor was another highlight; quirky, interesting, and a great conversation starter as we pointed things out and laughed together. Now, onto the food-it was so good! If you're a garlic lover, the shrimp scampi is a must. It was packed with garlic in the best way possible-seriously delicious. The meatballs were another standout; they were tender and melted in your mouth. Two extra things worth mentioning: They offer all-you-can-eat spaghetti for $11.99, which is such a great deal. We came here to try yesterday and was greeted by staff in a very cheerful manner. Sat down quickly and the waitress came by shortly after. The waitress was super nice and helpful as it was our first time dining at Oregano's. Kids got pizza with pepperoni and angel hair pasta with sauce and meatballs. I got the angel hair pasta, meat sauce and meatballs. Food came out swiftly. The garlic bread is delicious. Meatball was decent. Sadly, angel hair was very soft - I prefer al dente. Sauce was mediocre. One kid enjoyed their pasta and the other did not like their pizza. I'll come back and try again. I really enjoyed their service and will try something else next time. read more

We like Oregano's. However, today's visit was a bit of a letdown. I ordered a Kim Crawford, sav blanc; it was warm. Ordered the Numero Uno - it was like warm. Veggies were stacked in the middle very few on the entire pizza. Ordered cheesecake, with strawberries on the side. They did not arrive together. Our server was courteous and pleasant. The service was good as well the ambiance. The food was a different story. I had the lasagna . It very over cooked with a pool of oil on one end of the dish and large glop of cheese at the other end. This was our first visit to Oregano's. We chose it because of my wife's gluten allergy, and Oregano's dedicated GF menu. We entered a little after 1PM on Sunday. The small parking lot was fairly full. We parked, entered, and were immediately seated. Our server, Amber, came by and introduced herself within moments. We chose to share a GF pizza and Antipasto salad. Our food arrived at the same time, with maybe a 10-15 minute wait. We were warned that the Antipasto may arrive first. The restaurant was nice and quiet even with being fairly crowded. We sat in a booth farthest from the door. One thing that struck me was the high table and tight spacing between the seat back and the table. If you are a large person, you will want to avoid the booths where we were seated. Now, for the food; it was excellent, fresh, and filling! We shared both items and still had to bring home leftovers. The amount of meat in the Antipasto was extremely generous. We got 3 toppings on our pizza and they were well represented and also fresh. I think the pizza could have had a little more sauce, but otherwise it was perfect. This was our first visit to the Queen Creek location. We were in town for the garlic festival at the Olive Mill. We decided we didn't want to deal with the crowd at the festival to eat so we went to Oregano's. We were seated immediately and the wait staff was outstanding. Very efficient and friendly. I ordered the dry rub chicken wings not going to lie it's been a while since I've been to oregano's so I was impressed to see some new wing flavors. The wings were perfectly cooked crispy and delicious. The Italian fries are always good. My wife got the salad and hate to say it I can't remember which one it was but it really doesn't matter because all of their salads are good and all of their salads are a huge portions and you can't miss. I will say the only thing that stopped me from giving them a higher rating was it did seem to take a little bit longer than I thought it should for our food to come out. read more

Stopped in for later post-movie dinner. Interesting interior. An assault on your visual senses. Hostess was in kitchen area chatting with servers. Finally came to seat us, took us to table, still had dishes from prior use, not bussed. Had to stand around waiting. Menu obviously all around pasta and pizza with some salads and sandwiches as well. Everything has been made carb heavy and the portions are huge. I had the favorite salad with chicken and my date had the shrimp Caprese. We each had a drink. The food was just OK nothing special. With tax and tip, it was close to $80. That's a lot in my mind for what we got in terms of quality. For the last half hour of our meal, service staff was trying to get a jump on closing by sweeping up the floors all around our table as well. Your to-go person had just started her shift and explain she would be right us as she was waiting for the manager to bring her a cash register. Went with my husband on a Friday night when they were crowded. Placed in the group area, but at our request they accommodated us with a more quiet atmosphere In the main dining. We were put in Lisa's area and she was already hustling and bustling with I'm sure a full load. She greeted us right away and gave amazing service even asking our names and referring to us by name throughout the evening. She made great food suggestions for us and asked the kitchen to prepare it just how we wanted it. The restaurant was clean and organized. The food was superb and of great quality. My family and I were impressed with this restaurant. The outside is beautifully decorated and the interior has a welcoming environment that makes you feel cozy and at home. As soon as we walked in the smells from the kitchen welcomed us with a beautiful aroma. We ordered 3 servings of "El Diablo shrimp pasta". The chipotle cream sauce was DELICIOSO! The shrimp was big and was a great addition to the creamy pasta. Overall a great experience! Improvements and recommendations follow; I would encourage the staff and manager to have better communication with each other. We were informed our table would be ready in 5 minutes and we ended up waiting 1.5 hours because our table was given to somebody else. I used to travel to Phoenix all the time for work and loved Oregano's and now that we've moved here and it's been years since we had Oregano's, of course we had to order from them! We ordered via Door Dash and got a pizza and the traditional mac 'n cheese as well as a soda. We both really enjoyed our pepperoni, mushroom, and onion pizza and the mac 'n cheese. Usually a favorite of ours, this visit we weren't as pleased. We went mid afternoon, when it wasn't that busy, but our service was lacking. Everyone was friendly enough but our server was MIA quite a bit and seemed quite distracted. We share our dishes so we have more variety and today we had the meatball appetizer, Pablo Picasso Salad and Ciabatta Bing Ciabatta Boom chicken sandwich. Our favorite was the salad. We wouldn't order the chicken sandwich again. Just didn't care for it. With that being said, the pieces of chicken on it were sizable and the best part of the dish. The potato chips will always be a hard pass. We should have ordered their waffle fries (Italian Potatoes are what they call them). I called and requested a manager, waited on hold several minutes before Mick answered claiming to be a manager. Went here once for Dunedin and was very disappointed. The ceiling is too low, I felt like I had to duck under the vents in the ceiling. This one also does not have any sound absorption so it was very loud in there. Why the built the ceiling so low is beyond me. Don't get me wrong the food is great.
