4.5 out of 5. 1st time trying this place. Saturday afternoon. Pretty much a ghost town. It's a shame, cuz it was very good. They had some college basketball on TV but volume was very low, which was great. I was able to think, chat and listen to my music in ear after conversation was done. Place was clean. Service was excellent. Young lady at the register was learning but diligent and got the help she needed. Robert was personable and kind and conversational. Ordered 3 slices while i waited for a to go order. Barbecue Chicken, Hawaiian and Margarita. All three had amazing crust and undercarriage, almost zero bend. Margarita isn't my favorite pizza in the world but it was pretty darn good. Mozzarella was fresh, cherry tomatoes were good and just enough olive oil. 4.5 out of 5 Hawaiian is one of my favorites and this was great. Lots of ham and pineapple. The flavor was strong. 4.5 out of 5. Barbecue Chicken and Bacon was very good but had a tad more barbecue sauce than i need. I will ask for about 25% less next time. 4 out of 5. Garlic knots and half pepperoni and half supreme/combo to go. Wife really enjoyed the pepperoni. I had a bite and thought is was pretty standard. 4 out of 5. Combo was good, but the crust was soft in the middle (water from the veggies?). Undercarriage was weak but was better towards the crust. 3.5 out of 5. The garlic knots were top notch. Garlic and buttery, but not too strong. Crunchy on the outside amd soft on thr inside. Overall, this was a very strong showing. It's gonna be a problem for me that this place is 5 mins from my home. I will likely eat in or just do the by the slice to keep that strong crunch. I may ask for some jalapeño on the Hawaiian or barbecue chicken to get a little heat. I appreciate that all their pizza is available every day. The last place i ate at didn't have some options available except on specific days. I will be back! read more

Another weekend and another pizza place to try. This time... Brooklyn V's. Another one of those spots that is always popping up on my Yelp feed. Wife said we had them before, but I don't remember. That's never a good sign. I will start with negative item that had no positives. The traditional wings. I requested them well done because we like our wings crispy and they arrived barely done. Literally right on the line of done and not done. Only six wings. I had to stick them in my Ninja Toaster oven the finishing cooking. Very disappointing. We order a margarita pie and pepperoni. We got an additional pepperoni for free. The dough was fluffy. Had a decent rigidity to it, but like the wings it could have cooked a little longer. A little char on that crust brings a nice Smokey flavor and crispy bite to it. The cheese and topping were ok. Nothing really wowed there. The sauce can make or break a pizza. It's literally what brings a flavor balance to the whole thing. On the plus side they have a savory sauce. I'm not a fan of the sweet sauces so that was good. That said, thats all it was just good. Another place playing too safe with the seasoning. All in all it's a decent pie. 3 1/2 stars for the pizza. 1 1/5 for the wings. Seriously... the wings broke my heart. read more

Check your order before you leave. This restaurant is notorious for getting orders wrong, and unfortunately, it happened to me again, this is the second time. I ordered two orders of meatballs (4 total) and only received 2. They did offer to remake the missing order, but I would've had to go back and pick it up, which wasn't convenient. When the mistake is on their end, there should be a better effort to make it right. They also didn't offer anything extra for the inconvenience. no complimentary order next time, just a credit for the two meatballs I never received, which is the bare minimum since I already paid for them. Between the repeated mistakes and the lack of real customer service, I won't be ordering from here again. There are plenty of great Italian restaurants nearby that get it right the first time, I'd recommend going somewhere else. read more

The hero, eggplant and cheese sub is terrible. They sliced the eggplant so paper thin that you don't have a good taste of the meaty part of the eggplant it taste like breaded paper. I would never get that again there and I had to ask for napkins and I had asked about maybe adding meatballs onto the sub sandwich which they have reduced on Mondays to $12.99 with fries and a drink and it's not worth that money at all. Their lasagna is good on Tuesdays but this is terrible very thin. You can't even taste the eggplant it's just like you're eating a bunch of bread because the breading is more thicker than the eggplant that they put in there. Because I've never been here, I didn't know what to expect and almost got two pieces - I'm glad I stuck with one. The slice I received was GINORMOUS and SO GOOD. I built my own slice and got ham, bacon, and pineapple (come at me). It was absolute heaven. As I ordered delivery, I can't speak to the ambiance or service, but the food was amazing. Service at this location was horrible. Teen cooks at night were so rude. Ordered a slice of Pizza of pepperoni, jalapeño and pineapple and they gave me just a pepperoni slice. When I corrected the server she brought me back the same slice with Jalapeño and pineapple straight from the can. They never made me a new slice and when we left our Server apologized but the teen cook yelled out "don't apologize to them" we will not be coming back to this location ever. read more

I ordered a 14" veggie pie, (well done), & 2 cannolis. The pizza came pretty much undone & the cannolis looked like they had been in a war, & eaten! I spoke with manager Bella who assured me I'd be refunded my $55.+ for this horrendous meal. I've been waiting since 10/13 for my refund. Just called my bank to stop payment. Hoping that works. This pizza chain is diff each town you go to in AZ I've learned. This location was on point every time I went. This is how pizza is supposed to taste. Pizza is usually good, but the last 2 times I've gone to pick up my order is 30 minutes behind. Even when I place the order an hour and half ahead for a special time. How can you screw that up? I understand it happens but the customer service just isn't there. The least they could do is offer a drink while waiting 30 extra minutes. We arrived at 5 o'clock on Sunday evening, quickly seated at a table, and waited approximately five minutes for waitress to come over to take order for drinks. There were three other tables occupied at the time. We had a Bianco, pizza, cheese, calzone, and two slices of pizza and waited almost 30 minutes. The food was wonderful! I do not mind waiting for fresh food! The waitress lacked any emotion, friendliness, and was not available throughout the service. We ended up leaving around 6:45 PM. The waitress automatically brought the check, but didn't ask if wewanted a dessert, which we did! Waited approximately 10 minutes for a piece of cheesecake and tiramisu. The waitress was very quick to grab the check once I put the card on and walk away. For $92 for two adults and two kids to have pizza and dessert with horrible service. I'm not sure I will go back to this location. PS: the tables are very cramped inside especially for larger parties. Another table had six adults and nobody could get around the table. read more

When I ordered, I ordered a half of one type of pizza and I asked the young woman if she could give me a suggestion for the second half, she took the ball and ran with it! Another great pizza place close to home. I was being lazy and didn't want to cook dinner! I looked up pizza places nearby as I wanted to try something new and found Brooklyn V's. I also remembered my husband's buddy saying it was best so wanted to try it out. I ordered online and had pickup set for 6:15 since I knew my husband would be getting out of the gym around that time. He did and came home with this huge box and a bag. Lol! I ordered the 18' and did it half and half. Half for the kids and half for us. I also ordered a full order of wings and garlic knots. Just eat our first order from B V P. It's a new place in our area so we thought we would give it a try. It's a 3- pizza place. Pizza dough was hard and chewy to bite into. The brochette is way bad, soggy bread and over done. The calamari was chewy and not all that good. The antipasto salad was ok with 50/50 fresh lettuce. I hate to giving bad reviews to a new place in town. But this place was not worth the $100 we spent to try them out. We got a 14" 3 meat 14" Hawaiian, antipasto salad, brochettes, 2 meatballs, and 2 cheese cakes. Not a winner in our book. We will go back to our normal spot. Barros. read more
