When I'm in the area I typically visit the JJ on Pecos in Gilbert which is excellent, this location seems to be much different however. Food seemed fine for the most part. I've become a big fan of the toasted subs and my toasted Italian didn't have nearly as much meat nor veggies as the equivalent at other JJ's, same premium price though. I would have chalked that up to bad luck and not written a review except while we were eating our sandwiches one of the employees started coughing, covered her mouth with her gloved hand, then went back to food prep. That's ruins a meal all by itself. This location asks for a tip when ordering, before you get the food... It's convinced me that I should no longer be tipping until we've completed our meal and can appropriately determine if service and quality go beyond the regular menu prices. I'm writing a review because of what you get for what you pay for. It's sandwich should cost a lot these days! $13 for a sub? What happened? This crap isn't getting imported!! Where in the heck is the meat!? I got one layer of meat and two layers of cheese! I felt like I couldn't even taste the meat and had to look for it! What is your overhead for a sandwich... A dollar!? First the customer service is of poor quality for the over priced bread with the smallest amount of meat and toppings I have ever had on a sandwich. I thought Subway had the worst sandwich out of the entire sandwich shops in the area. Both our sandwiches had only two slices of meat. The add on of bacon $3.00 which was only 4 of the tiniest pieces. The adding on the $2.00 one slice of cheese torn into 2pieces is a ridiculous. The topper is there was enough Dijon that the two slices of ham couldn't stay on the bread. With that said the one star is for the dinning area was pretty clean. read more

After doing the emission test on my truck. Wife and I stopped off at Jimmy John's for a quick bite. Wide has always liked Jimmy John's, this was my first time experience. I had the chicken ceasar wrap. It was good, just unexpected crispy from the croutons they added to it. Next time I'll just tell them to hold off on the croutons. Wife had some kind of a sandwich which she enjoyed. One thing I did noticed in a positive way. They don't over do it with the bread. Some other franchises likes to have the little meat big bread combo. Here, the meat to bread is a lot better. It was a great visit, service was great. Might be a little pricey though. read more

My wife loves this place but our most recent order she got half way through her sandwich and pulled out a dead fly hidden in the lettuce. I called the store and the manager said they'll just remake the sandwich but when I told him she doesn't want to eat there after that and just wanted a refund his tone switched up and was almost annoyed at the fact she was too grossed out to eat there and just wanted our $10 back. I go to Jimmy John's because I'm on keto and they have an onion which which provide you with a good sandwich but no bread or tortilla. They wrap them tightly in the paper wrapper and all you have to do is peel that down as you take bites it's really good and keeps me on keto. read more

Ordered on the app, as a curbside order #16 Lulu combo meal. There were no signs indicating where to park for curbside pickup. When my order was brought to me, I was told not to park there again and I explained, you have no signage indicating where to park. My husband then asked me to order for him, so I did an additional order on the app as well and moved my vehicle to where I was told to park for curbside orders. I got the confirmation on the app that the order was placed and indicated on the app 'I'm here.' I sat and waited for 15+ minutes and nobody brought the order out. I finally went inside and asked if there was an order for Lauren and someone said check where the pick up orders are. I did, and my bag was sitting there w/ a big receipt that said 'Curbside online order.' I said, I ordered it curbside, and the employee said 'Oh.' NO apology, just stared at me with his mouth open. ZERO service and waste of my time. Now with both orders, drove all the way home, about 10 miles away. Opened my order and the sandwich was completely wrong. I double checked my order and the menu on the app to be sure I didn't order incorrectly, and I was given someone else's order, a tuna sandwich. I was supposed to have the #16 Lulu. I drove back to the store, asked for the manager. The employee said I'm the manager. I explained I was given the wrong order, to which he replied 'oh.' I recognized him from when I had to come inside to get my curbside order when he didn't help then either. No apology, didn't ask how he could help. He seemed irritated and provided ZERO customer service. So I placed the bag of food and the fountain drink on the counter and asked for a refund. He rolled his eyes and began punching numbers on the register and said 'If you don't see your money in your account by Tuesday, give us a call' and turned away from me to walk away. I asked him if I could have a receipt for the refund. Again, rolled his eyes and printed me a receipt that just says 'Void Do Not Make.' I still have no refund to my account. This place is always fast. Walk in, place your order, pay, minute or two later and you are ready to go. One of my go to places when I am visit my family in the east valley. Staff was super friendly and nice. Only gripe would be I wish they didn't put so much lettuce on the sandwiches and wouldn't scrape the top portion of your bread out. This locations employees apparently have better things to do than their job. We came in and spent over $100 on sandwiches only to be treated like we were inconveniencing them from coming in the store. This location just opened minutes from our place and I have always wanted to try them! The place is small but appropriate, well lit, and funny signs to read while eating. We did say it was our first time and it would have been nice if that had prompted them to make suggestions or tell us about some options but it didn't, they just said Okay, let us know when you are ready to order. For fast food I guess that is about on par with the service you expect. I got the "Italian night club" and added their special mustard, pickles, and peppers. It was fantastic. So good. Probably the freshest, best bread at a sandwich shop I have had. They also deliver within 5 minutes of the location and it looked like it is only a $2 fee plus a tip so I have a feeling this may be happening on occasion! I was sad I couldn't try their own brand of chips... They are made with peanut oil for those of us with allergies this is a big problem. Might have just been the day, but this location seemed slow. They had 3 pickup orders and a family of 3 that was in front of me and I simply ordered a ham no cheese or tomato. It took 5-10 mins to get a drive thru order, a pickup of 2 subs and mine made. At least the 3 guys did a good job of staying positive and upbeat. Guess I'll have to try this location another time. Everyone there is so nice and the food is always great! I especially love that they have a drive thru.

Unfortunately, the service in this place is a mess. I understand that it's new, but you have someone working the register that doesn't know how to ring anything up so orders are incorrect. They also don't ask if you want to add anything on: chips, soda, etc which is basic customer service. You have orders being half-filled meaning they're looking at receipts for the orders and only giving you part of your order saying "Oh shoot!" when you tell them that you're missing a sandwich. This tacks on your wait time for for order. Saw 2 sandwiches be made incorrectly; thankfully those people were dining in. Hopefully this place gets better with their service. A little more training for employees will help. For now, I would make your way to the Power Rd & Southern location if you're looking for classic JJ's service & experience. read more
