Let me say, I've been to this location several times over the last year and I know since COVID, things have not been the same but... this place has gone from bad to horrible. It doesn't seem to matter what time I have been at this location, the service is horrible. During our last visit (7/14/21), it took 15 minutes to get our drinks and then another 10 minutes after that for our order to be taken. When we got our appetizer of chips and salsa, the chips were so greasy and the salsa was so watered down. When our entrees were served, the burger was so greasy and not cooked thoroughly. My son was hungry so he didn't send it back. Mistake as he paid for it all night . My order was supposed to come with a side of ranch and it was not with it. I asked the waitress about it and she said she'd bring it. As I was finishing up my meal is when she brought it to me. As someone who has waited tables, I know it's not an easy task, but when the tables are not even 1/4 filled, take care of the few customers you have. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone. read more

One star only because there isn't a negative star. This is our 4 th time here as we moved from Ft Worth Tx. Every time food is cold drinks suck and stag just doesn't care including the manager. Chili's has always been my go to restaurant but in this case you might be better waiting in the line wrapping around Whataburger or any other fast food restaurant. read more

Served moldy cheese with the chicken fajitas (it was on the bottom so we didn't see it until the end of the meal). My quesadilla explosion salad was swimming in dressing and had barely any beans, corn, or red peppers. I can't wait to be throwing everything up in a few hours. read more

I am so disappointed that this Chili's no longer has curbside service, according to Lisa or Liz (could not hear her well). Their online order site is not working (ALL other Chili's online orders work just fine) and she said they are working on fixing it but they do not have curbside service anymore. As I told her, if I have to call it in, then go inside and stand around waiting to pick-up my order, I can go next door, or anywhere else, for that matter. We used to be able to get a nice, non-fast food meal with the convenience of picking it up curbside but, no more. Sad day in Marble Falls :-( read more

i 100% understand staffing and the issues that comes with. i do think communication goes a long way. i placed an order to go. waited forever. kept being told it was on the way out but ended up being over an hour. i finally went in, i sprained my knee, so i had difficulty and why i waited. when i hobbled in, the togo person was super nonchalant of oh yea it's over there and no apology. explanation nothing. i know things suck at the moment. i do. i'm super empathetic and try my best to be kind and understanding. let's just communicate a bit better and i think it would help everyone read more

We haven't been to this location in over a year. The restaurant became dirty - the floor had food all over the place and service was awful. We tried to go today. We sat down at 1:30 - no lunch rush. We ordered. At 2:10 we left having nit been served . Everyone who came in after us had food . When I say everyone I mean all the regulars who came to start their Friday drinking early. They all knew each other. The servers were shouting at each other ( joking around ) across the entire restaurant. We will not be going to Chili's out here or anywhere. Ever again. You guys save your time and frustration its not worth it. We don't want a free meal. Don't need another topology. Just trying to save someone else the experience. read more

Horrible service. Spent an 1 hour & 45 minutes in this place and the experience was very poor. We never had a manager visit during our time there and the poor server apologized every time she came by which was seldom because she was drowning in the few tables that were occupied. Waited on food and drinks for about 40 minutes. Will not go back to wait for that experience again. read more

2/20/2022 Poor service. Waited there for 10 minutes in the hostess area, every single worker in the building saw we were waiting. It was not packed, Ive worked in food service myself and have never seen every single worker completely ignore multiple couples coming into the door not just myself. Every time my boyfriend and I go, the hostess with the short hair is suuuper rude. She should get a new job since she seems so miserable. I called a day in advance to let them know I would have a party if 20 coming in & called an hour an advance like I was told to do, they told me no problem that they would have my table ready for me to be there by 6:45. I was there on time took them 10 minutes to acknowledge a group of us people besides me, with multiple workers starring at us. I asked the gentleman to check on our table his response was " oh yeah I talked to my manager awhile ago and she told me since there is another party it'll be an hour wait", very frustrated will definitely not be coming here again. read more

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. Placing an order online was a hassle. I wanted to place an order to go but was placed on hold TWICE for 10 minutes each . The man who answered my call the second time was a smart ass. When calling this business you have to hear an answering service for about 2 minutes until you get an actual person. I visited the restaurant Friday night 2/15/19 around 9 pm. I highly enjoy Chili's and regularly stop at Chili's on business trips. I will never visit this Chili's at Marble Falls again. I walked in and a couple of waitresses were standing around but didn't say anything to me. I found a hostess at a desk to the left, told her I wanted to sit at the bar, and she directed me to it and said I could seat myself, and that's fine, perfectly normal. I don't drink alcohol, but I like to eat the bar because I can watch TV, and I have quick access to food service. I always enjoy the chicken crispers. I sat there at the bar for 10 minutes. No one said a word to me. No one asked what I wanted to drink. No one offers me a menu. So, I grab a menu for myself. No asked for my order. I sat there for a good 10 minutes and nobody said a word to me. By contrast, I enjoy visiting the Chili's on I-35 in New Braunfels. I walk in, I sit at the bar, within 30 seconds to a minute, the bartender asks me what I want to drink, and when I order a soft drink, I get a menu moments later. On a busy night, it might take 2 minutes for the bartender to get to me. That didn't happen at the Marble Falls Chili's and frankly I was shocked. I walked out and ate elsewhere instead, and I intend never to visit the Marble Falls Chili's again. I'll go to other locations, but not this one. read more

We have been here many times, but we've finally had it with the slow service and inept management. Our waitress was very nice each time she got an order wrong, or forgot to give us drinks, forgot to clear the table, and finally taking 25 minutes for our dessert and check. It was brought out on a plate after I asked to have it wrapped up to go, making us have to wait again even after I told her we needed to go. I asked for the manager and had the opportunity to see them totally jack around while my desserts sat, still frozen, talking about "how" they should package it up for me. Ah Chili's. Sometimes it's good and sometimes I wonder why I keep coming back. When it's good, I'm impressed with the waitstaff and food. When it's not good, the waitstaff can be mixed or too busy to perform correctly. A few times the quesadillas are burnt or the fried pickles are cold. I've eaten here many times. Mid-day. Very late. Waited for a table. Been seated immediately. I've had great and hard working wait staff and decent, sometimes good food. Almost always a good experience. Until tonight. Tonight I had the most egregious display of bad customer service I have ever encountered anywhere. There was a crowd. We had 3. We put our names on the list and waited. 10 minutes later two young ladies come in and were greeted by a Chili's guy (he knew them well it seemed). He promptly walked to the wait list and studied the list, adding the two friends. 5 or so more minutes pass and who magically get called for a table (for 4). Right, the two friends of the guy who works at Chili's. He personally seated them. He did all of this five feet from us. While I watched him do it. And then he lied about it. To us, to the older party of 3 who were in front of us (and thus his 2 friends). By then we were done with this Chili's and likely any other. read more

Our experience at this Chilis was down right awful. From the start our server (girl working the patio with glasses) let us know how busy she was and made it apparent that not only our table was an inconvenience but the other two (two tops) were as well. As former servers and restaurant/bar managers my husband and I can be very understanding, however, there was no reason for her immediate "poor me" attitude. From what we could see, there really wasn't a reason to be overwhelmed. Our food was cold when it came out, we never got refills and no one asked how the food was. The girl who ran our food and helped out other tables around us was great and seemed to be trying to help pick up slack. Other tables around us complained about their food and asked for the manager because their burgers were black, hard and inedible. Our server basically told them she wasn't going to do anything for them "maybe 25% off". The manager never came. At that point our server was visibly throwing a tantrum. She stormed off, threw the little kiosks around, and seemed to be having another issue with more upset guests. We packed up our food Togo so we could take it home and warm it up. The cheese in the quesadilla wasn't even melted, chicken was off (didn't seem fully cooked to me), fries were overcooked and hard, the list goes on. We didn't want to complain because it was obvious enough people were already doing that and getting no where. It would be understandable if there was one issue, but this was just a storm of a terrible server, not so great kitchen and lack of guidance and support from a manager. On our way out, we told a family standing at the front that they should try their luck somewhere else because this Chilis was having a bad day. They said "every time we come we promise ourselves we won't come back" and told us that it wasn't uncommon and thanked us for knocking some sense into them as they walked next door. I hate to leave a bad review but hopefully something constructive comes out of it and this location can get it together. To our server: Letting your customers know you are having a bad day will only in turn make your bad day worse. read more

I go to Chili's about twice a year while visiting here. Last night (16Mar19) went there for dinner with friends. Picked up the check paid on the table device and emailed myself the receipt. There is a charge on the receipt for $1.99 for "Table Entertain." Apparently if you save the server the trouble of bringing you a bill etc you are charged two bucks penalty for it. The only use of the pay table device (their ZISOK) was to pay the bill. You would have a much higher rating if you didn't charge people to pay their bill. So you lost a customer over two bucks; but no big deal right? I'm only here twice a year; but my friends live here. read more

We were on vacation and really wanting a margarita, tried for hours to escape the children, and when we got there, no one greeted us. Not even the bartender where we had hope to sit. There was food that hadn't been bussed and we weren't able to sit down. We went back to the host stand and no one was there. We saw at least 2 servers walk past us twice and never even acknowledged our existence, even blatantly ignored us. There was another party of 3 seated and waiting, but it was unclear if anyone had waited on them. So we left and went next door - which was not corporate and extremely friendly. First the service was terrible, waiter was slow and never checked on us, I asked for lemons three times finally went to the bar and got them myself . Food was cold and disgusting. Solid. Dependable. We come to this Chili's about once a month to six weeks. We live in Marble Falls and choose Chili's for its flavor, variety, and of course, the lake view. Portions are large, servers are friendly and attentive, prices are quite modest with their specials,and you can get in and out quite quickly if needed. We've had their steaks, quesadillas, salads, Tex Mex foods, and their fabulous desserts. It's all good. read more

Really love the outdoor bar and location of this Chilis. Right on the Lake. Problem is though your view is hindered by a gross concrete building. The food here is typical Chilis. The bartenders at this location were very nice and efficient. Overall a typical visit to a typical Chilis! read more

Our server Dillion was very attentive. The food was okay but a word of warning, if you order a well done burger it will be very well done. The salads and turkey sandwich were very good. Its very unusual for Chili's to get it wrong, but they really did tonight. Ordered from the To Go menu and it was sub-par. The salsa was so watery is looked like the juice poured straight from a can of tomatoes. Absolutely no seasoning, no chunks of peppers, tomatoes, onions...nothing, just liquid. The guacamole was so bland and had big chunks of brown parts left on the avocado. Once again, no seasoning, no tomato, no pepper or onion. Most of the chips were stale and greasy. The little sliders were ok, but were so cold and overcooked. Like I said this is very unusual for Chili's. It's hard to believe someone didn't notice the quality before they sent it home with us.
