I love this place! We've been going there for many years. The owners and staff are very accommodating, very attentive and will fix any problem you can come up with. My family and I have our favorite dishes that we order repeatedly, the consistency with these dishes is top notch. My husband loves the bacon wrapped shrimp with a cilantro sauce (which is delicious!), I like the Pollo Monterrey, the taco salads and chicken chalupas. And, their steak fajitas are made with prime beef. I don't know where all of these comments about the salsa and queso are coming from (is salsa not tomato based somewhere else), we don't have the selection that Austin does but I am very pleased with Margaritas and will continue to go there for my "Mexican Fix"! My husband and I even go for appetizers before going to the grocery store, just so we're not starving while shopping! Keep up the good work Margaritas!! I'm out of town visiting Marble Falls. It's late April and nice out. This place has good food with a hostess that has a nonstop heart warming smile. We were quickly greeted and seated. I got a full order of nachos and my wife got the chicken enchilada plate. Tasty and big portions. The meat is prime meat, not cheap. There's a bar and the restaurant wasn't full but we beat the rush. They have outdoor seating too. The waitress really made sure we were happy. Checking in periodically in case we needed anything and clearing the table of empty plates. Our glasses stayed full. Two middle aged housewives had a quiet focused discussion, while a larger table had a circle of retired grey haired men, likely finishing a round of golf or fishing. One looked like he should've been in Miami, pink shorts, sporting a terrible print button up short sleeve shirt, and he walked with his arms swaying outwardly way too much. Not judgy, just setting the scene. And then the check arrived right as we were ready to leave. Perfect timing. I noticed driving out that this place has a big a$$ green sign. Food is decent, not great. I had the 1/2 order of chicken fajitas, they come with a decent portion, with the standard sides. There were two large, homemade tortillas, but they were dry. My wife had the flautas which were great because they were deep fried...but the sides were ok but not great. Salsa was a little too tomato saucy for me. The oddest experience! Trust me GO TO TACO BELL It was HORRIBLE our fajitas for two at 29.99 (, I double checked and accident put wrong price on my pic), came out with next to nothing on them, barely warm and we asked for extra vegetables (because we did not want beans or rice). Worse Mexican food in Marble Falls! I have eaten here before and didn't like it but thought after 1year I'd try again! Ordered crispy tacos with 1 bean and cheese chalupa thinking how could anyone mess them up but they were terrible! The meat was like mush and had no taste! The chalupa had about one teaspoon of beans spread on the tortilla and no cheese! Also had a margarita and it was so sour I couldn't drink it! Highly disappointed in our dining experience at Margarita's Mexican Food. We had driven by multiple times and noticed a very full parking lot and decided it must be the hotspot in Marble Falls for Mexican food. We arrived at around 1:45 PM on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We were seated right away and brought out fresh chips with salsa. The chips were perfect the salsa had a kick to it however I didn't care for the overall flavor of the salsa. My husband ordered the Mucho dinner plate it came with two enchiladas two tacos rice beans and I believe there is some other food on the plate as well I got the margarita special that came with a tostada a taco and enchilada. I was surprised by the size of my plate with rice and beans the beans were OK the rice had a good taste to them I didn't care for the vegetables inside of the rice. The rice looks more like a dirty rice rather than a Mexican rice. The food overall was OK, it was not great it was not good it was not horrible. We both ate our meals, however I don't think we will be back we want to try out other places first. read more

Super basic. The food was extremely bland and looked like a frozen dinner. We got their Margarita special and it was not good. We ate what we could because we were in a time crunch. Me and mom had to make a trip to Marble Falls. We were right near here and decided to get a bite. Customer service was excellent. We were greeted by the owner and we were made welcome. He was able to answer all our questions, especially those about the fresh oysters that were advertised on their sign outside. - 5 stars Food - the oysters are the best that I've eaten anywhere to date. I found out that they were delivered yesterday. The Pollo Monterey was delicious, very flavorful. The food was not good at all! Starting with the chips and salsa. The chips were bland and dry. Probably store bought. I had the green chilies enchiladas, which were YUCK! The rice was dry AF! The house margaritas are made with a sweet and sour that will instantly give you heartburn. The salsa for your chips is ketchup based and watery. Visited from San Marcos, Texas and the food here was decent at best. Service was quick but didn't feel too friendly though. The location felt pretty dead and not lively. Great salsa but iffy breakfast We were looking for breakfast which they offered but not on the main menu. It started with a nice and smooth salsa with a medium spiciness that I really enjoyed. Had to get seconds. Unfortunately, the meal went downhill from there as we ordered breakfast, both omelets, but its not something the kitchen is big on I guess. There was not a lot of form to the omelets. One order was sausage and cheese but it was really just a lot of cheese. The hash browns were an overcooked preformed hash brown patty that wasn't edible. The beans were nicely seasoned and I enjoyed them in spite of the fact that they had a charred flavor that lingered after each bit. It was our first beans in Texas so I couldn't form an immediate opinion but they seemed burnt. I haven't experienced that flavor since on this trip so I think it was a miss. The fajitas were sizzling on the plate when they came out, which is a major requirement for me to enjoy the fajitas.
