We visit once a week, it's one of our favorite places to go in Manteca. Staff over all is very good and hospitality is great! We usually sit at the bar or bar area, evening get away, our only and big complaint is screaming kids in the bar area and sometimes at the bar! We have complained and was told that it's a family friendly bar ... screaming children and kids yelling and screaming is not okay and whatever happened to 21 or older in the bar area?!! please re-visit your policy! read more

We were really disappointed with our experience at this Chili's. The salsa seemed watered down and the chips were very greasy. The fried pickles were not good. In fact, they are the same pickles they use on the burgers and they do not taste good. My husband's ribs were cold and tasted days old. The french fries tasted like they had freezer burn. My dad got a sirloin steak medium well and it came out charred, barely edible. The service was good but the food was terrible. read more

Nobody welcomed us til about 10 minutes after we arrived even though it was practically empty, after ordering our food it didn't arrive until an hour and a half. After proceeding to eat I find potatoes and some other meat in my Cajun pasta I was grossed out. Not a good day. read more

If you had asked me in the 90s I would have told you I Luv their buffalo wings. Unfortunately, somewhere between then and now my taste buds have changed and a new favorite has emerged. For me that is the spicy shrimp tacos. I first had them at Chili's in Merida, Mexico and I'm hooked. At the Manteca Chili's I go to the service is quick and the staff very hospitable and welcoming. My late son used to bring me here and it always brings back fond memories for me. Try to sit in Roberto's section. He is fantastic and always goes the extra for you! read more

I usually love Chili's, but there is something about this one that doesn't do it for me. The service is okay, but it seems like the chefs do not care what the food looks like. They just kinda throw it together. I was really disappointed, and dont expect to be going back to this one anytime soon. We've gone to Chili's countless times, but I wanted to leave a review of last nights outing especially. In the past, Chili's is Chili's. Good food, okay service, really never anything extra great or extra terrible. But last night was extra great! It was pretty busy, with both the A's game and Giants games going. We encountered the manager, (sorry i didn't catch his name), right as we walked in. We looked to the bar area to see if anything was open, and way in the corner was a booth. The manager rushed right over, cleaned it all off and had us seated in no time. Our server, Lindsey, was really sweet and prompt and didn't seem overwhelmed with the big crowd at all. We got all of our drinks and orders out right away. Everything was perfect and hot and fresh tasting. Even though the manager was obviously busy running around, he found several opportunities to come ask how our meal was going and even brought our drinks out to us. There was another gentleman who brought our actual food to us; he was very nice and had a couple jokes with my son. It was a great experience! Thanks! read more

So I really really like chili's... this particular one was really...MEDIOCRE..the salsa for salsa n chips was really watered down...the burger was greasy... good but a little too greasy..and CLEAN drink cup wasn't clean... had to ask for a second CLEAN one.. but the waitress was always making sure everything was ok. Service was good.. one thing I would recommend would be pay attention to detail when cleaning... I have allergies and the place was really dusty. (I sat under a really dusty tv in the back corner) like really dusty.. vents needed to be dusted. read more

Not the best experience. The food seems to have slipped in taste and quality. Had the Bacon Cheeseburger. It was not what I remembered. Dry, salty burger, on bland buns, huge disappointment. Food was great service was good got a mix match fajitas with chicken and shrimp for $12.99 plus $1 for shrimp and .50¢ added beans and rice the meal was a pretty good portion for the price and tasted good place was packed but we sat right down and maybe waited 7-10 min for our food over all was a good meal will definitely go again read more

They just renovated the bar it looks great, lots of TVs for sports. Their new drink menu has a lot of options but they are a very weak pour if like a decent drink. Waiters/waitresses are always very nice and helpful. This a great place to eat or grab drinks. read more

Not the best experience here. While the hostess was super nice, the waiter that was tending to me was "eh"...I sat down, and as soon as I sat down, he immediately asks if I knew what I wanted to order....no I don't. I politely told him no, and he took my drink order. Got the water from another guy, and proceeded to wait while others who sat down after me, was given reasonable time to think and place their orders...as I waited. Took a good 20-25 minutes before I was able to place my order, which consisted of a half sandwich, fries, and a small salad. I wasn't happy by then, so as a pregnant woman that was starving in a half full Chili's, I admit I was a bit curt when I placed my order, just so the order can go in and I get my food faster, as the others that were seated after me were just getting their food. Sloppily made sandwich, but otherwise eatable, so long as I rearranged the ingredients properly. No requests to refill my water until I was already paying at the little self serve kiosk..no thank you, as I already chewed all of the half melted ice. Most likely won't return. read more

My friend and I visited this Chili's restaurant and I was surprised- no complimentary chips and salsa to start. I ordered an entree with beans and rice and was surprised that the plate came with a spoonful of rice with a few beans thrown in. A fast food restaurant is better than what I now just experienced at Chilli's. I used to really like meeting with friends here- not so now. My friend commented that it seemed the prices were higher,too. read more

When we first walked in I smiled & the waitress girls looked @ me up & down didn't even smiled & walked away.. The host was very nice.. We sat there for 15-25 minutes (they weren't busy) the waitress seen us seating there but didn't even ask us if we wanted anything to drink they sat a couple behind us & she went straight to them & introduced herself her name was Trish she kept mean mugging my daughter.. So we just decided to walk out & two other waitress were walking by as we were leaving & they asked if we were leaving we replied yes they laughed & said bye like they were happy we were leaving.. We were here on Saturday evening, June 2nd. I think my in laws may have been a little tough as they can be, but our waitress, Malia, did not bat an eye. Absolute best attitude! Malia is an awesome asset to this restaurant! This young lady said it was her first night there and I seriously thought she was joking as she was so efficient and had such a great attitude. I shared a full rack of ribs with my husband and they were absolutely delicious, falling off the bone. The manager was also very helpful and attentive. Overall a fantastic experience. Once again Malia is a superb server and a great kid with a beautiful smile and an attitude to match it. read more

Definitely won't be back. Sad because it's literally five minutes from my house. I used to eat at Chili's in Union City at minimum twice a month. The only good thing was our drinks came out right away. Appetizers literally came out right before our food. Our server was MIA up until after our food was brought out. Then we were checked on multiple times to the point where it was annoying. Would have been nice to get our appetizers in a timely manner as my meal got cold as I crammed down appetizers real quick. Food was over cooked. $60 bill I would have gladly paid $20 for, beyond that was not worth my hard earned money. Management really needs to step it up and check on customers. We go to this restaurant quite often for the ribs. Service is OK, nothing to brag about. Seems like anywhere you go nowadays customer service is a thing of the past. So you just deal with what you get and move on. This time last Sunday the service was so bad I had to say something. I really don't think it had anything to do with just one person. Something was really wrong somewhere in the back where we don't see the goings on. From not being waiting on, food just plopped on the table, orders wrong and would not change it to no one asking us if we needed anything and most of all "cold coffee" twice (we gave up asking). We never had just one person to take care of our table. The whole time we were there it was a different person for each thing. We could not wait to leave. This is the first time we did not leave a tip. Tips are for a Thank you for good service it is not mandatory. Funny thing is the place was not even really busy. This particular chili's is very hit and miss. We usually visit this particular Manteca location about twice a month but our most recent visit this evening found the service great but food of bad quality and not cooked properly. I mentioned that my entree was not very good and that the steak was like cutting tendons so they asked if I wanted something else so I figured being a chili's I'll get a burger, my spouse already received her entree that wasn't very well prepared either but edible. I waited about 15 minutes and still no burger so when I seen the server I said just cancel the burger and just charge us for the one entree. I really hope they can fix the issues at hand so we can once again enjoy the chili's restaurants we have enjoyed in the past. read more

Went to Manteca Chilis yesterday and ordered the beef fajitas. Sorry to say that the meat pieces they used were rubbery and had same texture of gristle, and the Spanish rice served with it was like the Lipton instant packaged rice! I was really disappointed! Their service and food has always been great and a good variety. But, recently went in with some girlfriends and service was tremendous, but the drinks were horrible. The Watermelon Martini was so watered down, and it didn't even taste like watermelon. And, tonight I wanted to try their take out, so I got their 'official' menu off their site, and 3 of the 4 things I wanted to order were no longer offered. The person who took the order said they hadn't had those things in a long time, since 'beginning of summer'. No Potato Skins? Such a shame. Better update the online menu, guys! read more

This rating could've been a 5 star rating but because they charged us one price for the first round of classic margaritas and yet a different price higher than first round and they didn't do anything about it except the manager said oh that's weird it did that!!! Today my wife and I went to our favorite restaurant in Manteca like we do every Sunday only to find out they have once again changed there happy hour menu again. I am not sure why they keep doing that, but they have lost a customer in us. The service in Manteca is the best and that have no control over corporate. I sure wish they did. read more

I was so dissatisfied with the service there today. I do not know what has happened to this place, but very poor service. We had to flag down the waitress a few times. We ordered our beverages and it took longer for the beverages than the dinner. We never got the chips we ordered. Two orders were incomplete. We never got refills on our drinks. On the bill was the chips we never received and I had to have them remove it. You have to flag down the waitress for the bill. All I can say the 3 of who was there was very dissatisfied. It was never like this before, it has truly gone down hill. Sad because I really like Chili's, I will have to go to Modesto next time. read more
