My family frequents this location, but after this afternoon NEVER AGAIN! I have contacted corporate but decided to bless Yelp with this review as well. My daughters and I decided to dine in at this location and was greeted with obvious disappointment by Jason. The booth he was supposed to have us seated at had left over food crumbs, residual from drinks, etc. I asked could he wipe the table off and from then he must've went on a rage mentally. My daughters decided to eat outside because it was a little loud; so I asked the manager on duty if we could sit outside and he said, yes. Well, that must've sent Jason over the edge because he came outside to where we were seated and THREW the menus at us. I spun around in my seat so fast and asked the manager standing there what Jason's problem was? The manager on duty assured me that he was going to handle the situation, but I'm not sure that was the case. My daughters and I then decided to leave. I'll be damned if I sit there and pay and allow someone to be as disrespectful as Jason was. I told another waitress to let the manager know we were leaving and why. I took my girls to the car and came back inside to make sure I had the correct name to report. When I asked the waitress for Jason's name, he looks me up and down as if I was the scum of the earth and scoffed. I proceeded to tell him to find another job because he's definitely in the wrong place. There is no way on Earth that I would step foot back at this location and I highly advise others to do the same. Some things you should not ever accept and that's disrespect. This is the second time they have sent an order without checking to make sure all the items I paid for were included. I called the store twice and when I finally got to speak to speak to someone the manager was rude and said that the store is "very busy" and "sometimes items are forgotten for door dash orders". More than half of my order was missing and the food that I did receive was poorly put together. As a former Chili's employee I'm very disappointed. The acting manager or owner, Sam, allows high schoolers (under 18) to nearly work 40 hours a week (our waiter told us last visit). Allowing his employees to make staffing decisions is unprofessional. As a business manager you should be able to navigate "bullies" in the workplace. We were all a bit eager to get food from the long drive and get back on the road. The people at this Chili's made it impossible. The service was slow, my friend was use to getting food combinations differently at our local chili's and instead of the waiter saying no or let me check, he kept getting the manager which came over but never said anything to us, he just stood & watched ( I guess being supportive- LOL). Seating sucked, the tables were so close that we were bumping into the people behind us and we could hear every word they were saying as if we all could have been sitting at the same table. I don't usually eat at a lot of chain restaurants but we were traveling through the area and this was right off the exit and we were hungry. They only had outside seating when we arrived and they had heaters on so we agreed to sit out there to avoid a wait. We were taken to a table that hadn't been bussed yet so she grabbed the dirty dishes and set it on a nearby table (these never got picked up by anyone). We sat down while she went to get something to clean the tabletop off because we didn't want to stand awkwardly next to other diners. The table was the typical outdoor grated top iron table. She sprayed the cleaner directly on the table top but obviously the cleaner went straight through the holes onto our legs. She didn't seem to think anything was wrong with that. A few minutes after ordering the patio's heaters went off. It took forever to hunt down someone to turn them back on while my toes went numb. When they brought out the food they didn't have mine because the person delivering it said she dropped mine so they had to remake it. So, then I had to continue waiting while everyone else ate (they never offered to comp anything for this inconvenience) . My husband said his burger was burnt and I noticed my son's burger looked burnt, too, but he didn't complain. Obviously I won't return because I don't live nearby but if I did I still wouldn't eat here again. This is precisely why I can't stand eating at corporate run chains, because you're just a faceless number to them. When we ask for curbside 8 out of 10 times we have to go in and get our order, the staff just looks at us waiting in the car. Very frequently the takeout orders are wrong of incomplete. I have written, used the comments both on the Chili's app and directly, asking to be contacted for further discussion and never hear back, just the sound of crickets.
