We were unable to make same day reservations online, but we still decided to drop in and see if we could get seated. We were able to grab a booth that did not have a reservation booking, so we made it work. It wasn't overly crowded, but they were consistently busy. Our server was nice, timely, helpful, and very attentive. The classic margarita was excellent. I was nervous about the salad, but I'm here today to talk about it so I guess the lettuce was okay. Haha! The very kind server was reassuring as we discussed my interest and decision to order a salad. The caesar dressing was more of a vinaigrette style than a creamy. It was pretty good. The crotons taste like they are made in house. They were absolutely delicious. For our appetizer, we ordered the riblets and duck wontons, which are always extremely tasty. The riblets were interesting, but definitely delicious. Sorry I didn't get a full pic. We were hungry. The kids chicken and fries were pretty standard. My kids enjoyed their meals and cleaned their plates for the most part. I believe the menu shifts from time to time. I ordered the high plain cowboy cut which is the ribeye that comes with one side. I love that they have certain temperature limits depending on what cut you decide to order. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, extremely flavorful, and delicious. It was an excellent size. For my sides I ordered the seasoned chef potato's, I added cheese which was a great accompaniment to the seasoned potatoes. I wish they gave you more than they do especially with the prices. As fellow small business owners, we understand firsthand how difficult the restaurant industry can be, which is why writing this review is not something we take lightly. We just left Bone Appetit after celebrating our daughter's birthday and our 21st wedding anniversary, and unfortunately the experience did not match the occasion. There were definitely some positives. The first set of wings, the eggrolls, the salmon, and the lava cake were all enjoyable. Unfortunately, the rest of the evening became increasingly disappointing. The crab dip was advertised as sizzling hot, but both orders arrived only warm. We waited over an hour for our food on what appeared to be a fairly slow evening, and to be clear, we had no problem with the wait itself. We understand quality food can take time. The issue was waiting that long and still receiving food that was cold. The steaks were not cooked to the requested temperatures and were also cold when served. The tomahawk steak especially was disappointing because it had a noticeably gamey flavor around the bone. I'm not sure whether it was the seasoning or rub used, but the flavor was off-putting. The cheesy potatoes were the only item that actually arrived hot. The Brussels sprouts were mostly dry leaves with barely any actual sprouts. Another issue was the inconsistency from plate to plate. The second and third orders of wings were noticeably different from the first batch. We chose not to send food back because we understand food waste, kitchen pressure, and the challenges restaurants face. We simply wanted to enjoy the evening and make the best of it. Still, after such a long wait, leaving unsatisfied was disappointing. What stood out most was that the owner was nearby, aware that concerns had been brought up, yet never came over to check on the table personally. Went here to celebrate my mom's birthday and it was awesome. The building is a bit smaller than expected, but the flavors were big! My mom ordered the ribeye and I had the salmon dinner with brussel sprouts and potatoes. Our food was seasoned well and came out promptly. My mom couldn't stop raving about how good the steak was! Please follow the recommendations for cook temperatures when dining though. My mom ordered a medium steak, but the menu recommended it be cooked medium rare. I held out Leadership Friendsgiving here and we had such a great experience. We held it in a Sunday and the restaurant was pretty empty but the ambiance was nice, clean, mood lighting and our table was already set up. Our server and the bartender were both great. Food came out hot and did not disappoint. The zucchini fries were a great start as well as the Philly eggrolls (not pictured), also the steak fries i think someone else had. Came with big expectations, but left disappointed. We had heard this is the new spot in Lexington and it was a little pricey, but it was worth visiting. I'll be honest it has the feel of an upscale lizard thicket. I would say it was very much mixed results for our party of four. First note that the steaks are marinated, but not described so on the menu. So if you're thinking you're getting a classic "steak" it will have a different flavor profile than you may expect. I will just say my steak was not great (poor quality cut and flavor) and the chef potatoes that were served with I would not order again. Another person had salmon with pasta and said it was OK , another who got a steak got another just OK vote, and the chicken served with some kind of peach glaze for the other got a "it wasn't that bad". What made our dinner even less enjoyable was that two people got their meals first. We waited for about five or more minutes before starting for the other meals to come out. They never did so we started to eat as our food was getting cold. We finished our meal entirely before the third dish came out. That person was halfway done before the last meal came out. They said it was because they bring out the food when it's ready so it's fresh to eat. It's obvious the kitchen doesn't know what they're doing. Also note that they are going automatically add a 20% tip plus an additional service fee. They must have an issue with most of the people eating there not tipping. Wonder why? read more

This was our first visit, and we were impressed by the decor and atmosphere. The music selection was enjoyable and offered a nice variety. The food was very good once it arrived, although it did take a while to come out. We ended up sitting at the bar because it was Father's Day and we didn't have a reservation. What seemed a little unusual was that only about four other people came in during the hour and a half we were there around 3:00 PM, so we weren't sure why service was slow. It may have been a staffing issue. One of the highlights of our visit was walking back to our car and seeing a young man outside cooking on the grill. Kudos to the cooks! We had a great server named Tyler who deserves a raise for the great hospitality towards me and my father. The lamb chops, beignets,and steak were so good I went into a food coma. After attending an elite event here months back, I already knew that I wanted to have my birthday dinner here based on the quality of the food. My partner took it upon herself to go ahead and get it set up. She works with someone by the name of Donna before I express feelings on that part of the experience I would like to say once again the food was absolutely exceptional. My party of eight absolutely enjoyed everything from cocktails to appetizers and entrées. The chef and kitchen get a 10 out of 10. My only concern My partner called and set up the dinner and I did not know that she was advised it would be $150 nonrefundable deposit and it did not go towards our bill. I have personally referred others to have an event in the back room and the deposit went towards their bill. However however when I inquired we were told it's only for Monday through Thursday, but that is incorrect one of the dinners that I'm speaking referencing was about a month ago. It was on a Saturday and there 150 deposit was applied towards their bill. This makes it appear that there is no true policy for events. To charge a guest that is patronizing your business and bringing a party of 8 to 15 a 150 deposit nonrefundable is mind blowing to me. read more

I planned a party two weeks in advance and paid a $150 non-refundable fee, yet the service and organization did not meet expectations. The food was misrepresented, some items were served cold, and servers rarely checked on us--we often had to look for them. There was no manager on duty, and the owner was unavailable to address concerns. We waited nearly two hours for our entrées, and the experience lasted almost four hours. An 18% gratuity was removed at our request but later charged back, which was frustrating.
