Thirsty Fellow is always a great sport for some great food! Service was awesome & helpful for a busy before game meal. We sat outside & ended up being very comfortable because of the heaters. Everything was clean & moved around to accommodate our group. Food came out warm & fresh. Everything tasted great.

I dined here after attending the St Patty's Day music festival. There was a wait of 15 minutes to get seated so no big deal.i ordered a cheese steak sandwich with fries. It was a pretty good sandwich, however the fries were a little soggy for my taste, however they were still decent fries. Nice place to stop in for a bite.

(3.5) Speedy service, okay food, and clean/simple interior. We got seated in a booth, and the server greeted us right away. I chose the gorgonzola chips as an app and then got the grilled cheese and sweet potato fries for dinner. The gorgonzola chips were a max level of pungent cheesy goodness, and I was delighted with them! The grilled cheese, however, came out lukewarm with barely and melt in the cheese. Also, the bread was lackluster. Given that it was the only choice, I would hope for a more robust and crusty bread. The sweet potato fries were good, though they were also not very hot and I did need to salt them a bit. Throughout our meal, our server checked in on us and was extremely friendly to our group. I was really glad were were in the booth, since the high tops didn't look very comfy. Overall, this spot did the trick in terms of giving my group a meal during a busy holiday weekend. It's definitely better suited for a college-crowd. But, they gave us great service. The food could use some tweaks, but overall, I was happy with my experience.

Thirsty Fellow was pretty good! I'd say the two best things about Thirsty Fellow were definitely the atmosphere, and its proximity to Colonial Life Arena. It's a really convenient place to walk to after a game or event at CLA, and I loved how dimly-lit and relaxed it was, while still maintaining an old-school cool type of feel. As for the food, I'd say that it was "good." My pepperoni pizza and fries were above average, yet nothing particularly special. All-in-all, I would definitely recommend Thirsty Fellow, and I'll definitely be back in the future, probably during football season or after another event at Colonial Life!

This is a local fav and now I know why! Great place to stop if you're on a USC campus tour and need a food refueling break as you take in the beautiful campus! Our tour guide recommended this foodie delight hotspot and she was spot on! We enjoyed a delicious lunch and experienced great service despite it being a busy weekday. 5-stars to my Thirsty Fellow

We were in Columbia for the Journey concert. Thirsty fellow was in walking distance so we thought we would stop in. Glad we did! The service was awesome even though the place was packed! As soon as we were seated, the waitress was at our table to take our drink and food order. The food was delicious huge portions and was delivered promptly. My husband had the hamburger and fries. The fries were perfectly cooked an amazing. I ordered the anti-pasta and it was huge! The fried goat cheese was delicious. The next time we are in Columbia for a concert or anything else, we will be sure to stop in!

Good food, good service, and friendly people. We ordered a medium pizza with sausage and the chicken fingers with homemade chips. Pizza is woodfired, and it appears the chicken fingers are hand-breaded. There's outdoor seating available for those who prefer the fresh air. Both entrees were excellent, and I plan on going back before heading home to Chicago.

Food was great however, the server could use some help. Didn't wanna wait for us to decide what we wanted to drink. Had to remind you twice for napkins. Ask the server to split the bill in half so we could have two receipts guess he couldn't count cause he didn't do that. He just brought one bill had to ask for to go boxes twice. Your server is our reason why people come to your restaurant and we were not happy with him

Had lunch here and it was a good experience. Sadly, the weather was awful and made the patio experience one of wind, rain and cold. However, when the weather lifted it was beautiful. We had great service from the staff. We started with some Bruschetta which was delicious. I had the fish and chips as an entree. There was a thick batter which was good and the fish was tasty. I can say that the location was busy. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I do recommend the location for a good lunch.

Great food in a great pub environment. Servers appear to mostly college students, but were very attentive.

When the British Bulldog calls itself a "pub", I feel like it's one of the very few places that takes that moniker to heart. Even though it's located in somewhat of a strip-mall setting, once you walk inside the building, you're amazed by the authenticity of the inside. Personally, I loved the brick and wood that made up the interior, which gave the restaurant the realistic "pub" vibe that I mentioned earlier. Furthermore, I loved the framed, and hanging, soccer flags, which was a marked contrast to the professional and college sports paraphernalia at your typical American sports bar. I walked in kind of late, and just sat at the bar, which still made for a great experience. Even though it's an English restaurant, they still had a lot of the popular local and domestic beers, to go along with the more English-themed beverages. I asked if they had any "sours", and the bartender was kind enough to offer me a sample of the two (2) sours that they had on tap, and let me choose the one I liked the most. The aforementioned bartender was great, and I overheard him offering some folks from out-of-town with recommendations for nearby late-night spots and high-quality local joints. Finally, my simple order of chicken tenders and fries was pretty good, and I thoroughly enjoyed their steak-cut "chips," or French Fries. All-in-all, I waited too long to try out the British Bulldog, which was a great pub experience that definitely lived up to my high expectations. I'll definitely be coming back soon, and in turn, would recommend it to anybody else!

The wing meal deal. 10 wings, two sides and drink for less than an order of just 10 wings. Gone. And to make it worse, the server told me today was the first day it wasn't on the menu any longer. I knew it was too good to be true. I even questioned the manager when they first started that special. I asked "are the owners stupid, or just think WE are?" I mean, who would order 10 wings when you can get all that food for less? Oh well. Wings here are still good, but way over priced. I guess it's true.... The best things in life rarely last forever.

When we arrived we were seated with our group immediately- the host seemed super friendly. From there we grabbed a seat and mingled. We had a few servers taking orders. Pros the beginning was very pleasant, food and and drinks came out fast and there was a big side room to sit about 40+ people. Now what brought this experience down for me was 1. When the workers were bringing out the food they continuously had an attitude after calling out what they had and nobody answering immediately- legit making faces. Working in the food industry I get it's frustrating but nobody was being rude or demeaning to the workers they just wanted to do bare minimum and make faces if we didn't hear them call out what food item they had in their hand. And what totally brought my night down was after receiving my food- I ordered the steak nachos, friend pickles, an Arnold Palmer and my husband had the ribeye sandwich with curly fries. Pros were the food came fast but for me there was just something missing with both of our main dishes some more veggies were missing and then as I was about half down with my nachos I bit into a piece of bone fragment. And both workers I talked to did not seem bothered or even apologized. Thankfully I bit it with my back teeth but still super gross for steak nachos. And then just the nonchalant attitude the first server said ok then the second one I told had to ask her to take the nachos off. It's like a local Applebees, would I go back no.
