    Crab cake sandwich

Nice date night spot. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked gorgeous and yummy and our own plates did not disappoint. The crab cake sandwich was thick and well flavored and sweet potato fries were hot and perfectly cooked. Meatloaf and potatoes will definitely be ordered again as well. My old fashioned seemed a bit watered down so I'll have to try again next time!

Don't let the small-town vibe fool you--this place is a hidden gem! The food and cocktails were absolutely amazing. The shrimp and grits had a unique and delicious twist, and the fish and chips featured perfectly seasoned, locally sourced fish--not your average heavy batter. Cocktails were top-notch; we tried the peanut butter old fashioned, cosmo martini, and house old fashioned--each one a hit. Definitely worth the stop if you're anywhere near Ridgeway!

This was a random stop for dinner on the way to Columbia, SC. Staged in a historic building the restaurant had a small town feeling with exciting menu options. Beer list was limited but wine list was extensive. Service was enjoyable and quick. We shared a Tuscan salmon on linguine. The fish was perfectly prepared. They offer special food events so if you are local I recommend planning to attend one .

    Burger special of the day

Had to drive about 25 minutes out of town to find this gorgeous downtown area with a few shops & a pub. This restaurant & pub alone was worth the drive. All of it looked great honestly but kept it lunchy with our choices (although if there's mashed potatoes on the menu I'm getting them). Sweet potato fries were so good and sweet. Mashed potatoes were to die for! My husband loved the burger & I loved my panini. We can't wait to come back for date night & dive into dinner. Our service was great, food came fast, which is always a plus! Must try/visit.

Great food and service. The ambiance was load but they were extremely busy. It's a little on the expensive side.

Formerly the Town of Ridgeway, SC's Town Hall...thus...the Old Town Hall (OTH).

Such a cute area with boutiques, bakery/coffee shops and restaurants. I was excited for, craving and hoping for fish and chips and they did not disappoint! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful pictures of Ireland's landscape in the dinning area adjacent to the bar room. Great cocktail, wine and beer menu. We had EXCELLENT meals...pot roast and fish and chips! I enjoyed ( never had one before ) an Irish martini.

Now mind you there were a lot of empty tables with "reserved" on them at that point. Fast forward an hour later, because we didn't get a txt from them, we went in to see what the story was. They proceeded to tell us it would be another 30 minutes. Also the seats that had "reserved" on them were still empty! They said they would take care of us, and walked us over to the bar side, and told us we would have to stand at the counter to eat! I was fuming. The other three from my party walked out, while i proceeded to tell the manager this was extremely poor service! All he could say was they were busy. I pointed out the empty tables that were empty when we first walked in an hour ago and are still empty! They finally gave us one of those tables. We were out in an hour and guess what ...... there were still empty tables with "reserved" on them! Would NOT recommend this place to anyone! My suggestion is to go someplace else!! Like I said, our waitress was extremely nice and couldn't apologize enough.

When the British Bulldog calls itself a "pub", I feel like it's one of the very few places that takes that moniker to heart. Even though it's located in somewhat of a strip-mall setting, once you walk inside the building, you're amazed by the authenticity of the inside. Personally, I loved the brick and wood that made up the interior, which gave the restaurant the realistic "pub" vibe that I mentioned earlier. Furthermore, I loved the framed, and hanging, soccer flags, which was a marked contrast to the professional and college sports paraphernalia at your typical American sports bar. I walked in kind of late, and just sat at the bar, which still made for a great experience. Even though it's an English restaurant, they still had a lot of the popular local and domestic beers, to go along with the more English-themed beverages. I asked if they had any "sours", and the bartender was kind enough to offer me a sample of the two (2) sours that they had on tap, and let me choose the one I liked the most. The aforementioned bartender was great, and I overheard him offering some folks from out-of-town with recommendations for nearby late-night spots and high-quality local joints. Finally, my simple order of chicken tenders and fries was pretty good, and I thoroughly enjoyed their steak-cut "chips," or French Fries. All-in-all, I waited too long to try out the British Bulldog, which was a great pub experience that definitely lived up to my high expectations. I'll definitely be coming back soon, and in turn, would recommend it to anybody else!

I wandered into Main Street Bar & Eatery for what was supposed to be a "quick bite between quotes." Instead, I became spiritually welded to a barstool while the TV blasted a man in flannel yeeting a chainsaw like it owed him money. And the fried pickles. Good grief. Those things ambushed me. One minute I'm thinking "I'll just have a snack," and the next I'm waist-deep in a basket of fried circles of temptation, crunching my way into oblivion while pretending to "work." My laptop was open, sure, but let's not lie to ourselves -- I got absolutely nothing done. I was too busy yelling advice at professional lumberjacks like I'd trained for this moment my whole life.
