I do enjoy coming here. I had some issues on my first visit with staff. I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone when I called, so I just went in person and I couldn't get anyone to seat me or even acknowledge me. However, my next 2 visits were fine. The food is good and there are usually open seats. The Cornedbeef and Cabbage was wonderful. This can also be a good place to come watch a game and have a beer. There are plenty of TVs around facing all directions. I plan on going back. read more

I'll start with the food it was good. I had wings and chicken nachos. It wasn't the best but definitely wasn't bad. The food came out hot and fresh. They were on point. We had two waitresses who kept checking on us making sure we were okay. Now to the main event the spot is amazing. I'll start with once you walk in you have tv everywhere not a seat in site you can't see a tv with all the games on I was in heaven. I love sports so I got to watch baseball basketball and more basketball! It's a man cave plus! I will go there just for the tv but to the food everyday they have a special so it's a spot you should check out. When I come back in town I will check it again. The curly fries were hot, fresh, and nicely seasoned. I also tried the BBQ wings -- they were decent, and the chili sauce they serve as on option for the wings was actually good. Came here for a work dinner and though I'm thankful they were able to fit a bigger group in last minute my experience here was mediocre. When we arrived we were seated with our group immediately- the host seemed super friendly. From there we grabbed a seat and mingled. We had a few servers taking orders. Pros the beginning was very pleasant, food and and drinks came out fast and there was a big side room to sit about 40+ people. Now what brought this experience down for me was 1. When the workers were bringing out the food they continuously had an attitude after calling out what they had and nobody answering immediately- legit making faces. Working in the food industry I get it's frustrating but nobody was being rude or demeaning to the workers they just wanted to do bare minimum and make faces if we didn't hear them call out what food item they had in their hand. And what totally brought my night down was after receiving my food- I ordered the steak nachos, friend pickles, an Arnold Palmer and my husband had the ribeye sandwich with curly fries. Pros were the food came fast but for me there was just something missing with both of our main dishes some more veggies were missing and then as I was about half down with my nachos I bit into a piece of bone fragment. And both workers I talked to did not seem bothered or even apologized. Thankfully I bit it with my back teeth but still super gross for steak nachos. On a recent trip home to Lexington, South Carolina (we live in Honolulu, Hawaii), my family was craving chicken wings and burgers for dinner. Since we were staying out in the Northeast part of Columbia, (my son and I quickly made the decision to visit Beef O'Brady's and that was a damn fine choice. Our family of six had onion rings, fries, fried pickles, mac n cheese, boom boom shrimp, burgers and wings. One thing that I'd forgotten since living in Honolulu. . .the portion sizes here are HUGE. Meals are MUCH more expensive and the portions are INCREDIBLY smaller in Honolulu. So, needless to say, we over ordered and had enough food for the next day as well. The restaurant was relativity empty, but we were getting taking out anyway. Staff were super pleasant. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was that their mac n cheese was terrible. It looked like the Easy Mac you cook in the microwave. This NEEDS to be modified. I don't care if you're a chain restaurant, you should be able to offer a decent mac n cheese. read more

3/13/24 went here for dinner with my wife and my youngest son's family. 6 total. Seated right away. Service was good. Drinks returned promptly. Ordered the grilled shrimp tacos which were good but were almost room temp when served. DIL ordered 6 boneless wings (got 12 due to the bogo special) on Wednesday. Very good, hot and fresh. Wife got the chef salad which she reports was excellent. Son got the Cuban with onion ring which was very good but too too long to bring out. The waitress comped the soda drinks due to that without asking. Grands got a quesadilla which they enjoyed. Probably be back. Was more of a family sports bar for the best description. read more

Long time customer here. And I'll be back. But I came in for 1 reason today just to learn it was no longer offered. The wing meal deal. 10 wings, two sides and drink for less than an order of just 10 wings. Gone. And to make it worse, the server told me today was the first day it wasn't on the menu any longer. I knew it was too good to be true. I even questioned the manager when they first started that special. I asked "are the owners stupid, or just think WE are?" I mean, who would order 10 wings when you can get all that food for less? Oh well. Wings here are still good, but way over priced. I guess it's true.... This was an excellent Beef O'Bradys. We got the combo appetizer platter. Everything was good. The chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks and corn dogs were very good and the onion rings were excellent. I really love this spot but yesterday was a bad experience. I still recommend eating here as the food is usually exceptional and the service great but everyone and every place has a bad day. Service was slow. Our lemon pepper wings were drowned in seasoning like someone just poured the dry rub into the basket and sent it out. We could have literally taken an half cup of seasoning out of the place. I was really disappointed. It took over 10 minutes for the server to return to explained that the wings were horrible. The prepared new wings but it was a long time before they came out. As we were eating, an employee decided to sweep out the booth next to us and debris flew over into our both and she kept sweeping. I was in awe. How do you sweep where people are eating. Now as I think about it, maybe they wanted us to get out. If that was the aim it's unfortunate as we came to catch up with our week and not to merely eat. We stayed to finish our discussion. We departed and definitely enjoyed our time catching up. The new renovated space is amazing. The place is spacious. However, I fear the expansion of space my be overwhelming for the staff. Beef 'O' Brady's is a chain having its beginning roots in Brandon, Florida in 1985. Unfortunately it has the atmosphere and feel of a big chain sports bar and the food sort of has that chainy likeness about it as well. Matter of fact if you hit the web site for this place you don't even this restaurant. Instead, you'll get the main chain site. I stopped by here, ordered a beer (they do have a good selection), and one of the OMG Burgers. I ordered it rare along with some onion rings but the burger came out well done. The taste was rather good but the only OMG's I got out of it was the 1,790 calories of grease. I should have known it would be greasy, but had no idea how greasy. Containing 12 ounces of beef, 4 slices of smoked bacon, and 4 slices of cheese I later ended up doing heavy dose of Lipitor along with half a roll of Tums when my gallbladder raised holy (blank) about it. I can't really comment much about the crowd as there was no one there other than "first responders" who had been working on the effects of Hurricane Irma, even though in Columbia, South Carolina it didn't amount to much. Went with two friends today for lunch. One of my friends had a coupon from a flyer saying 20% off your meal with an order over $15.00, not valid with any other coupons or discounts. Since it was lunch, we were ordering off of the lunch menu and asked the waitress if we could apply the coupon to the table. She said it wasn't good for lunch items, only dinner menu items. The lunch items were not discounted or on any specials, but their regular daily lunch prices. She checked with her manager and the manager said it wasn't valid. Sort of a misleading coupon! Two of us ordered fish and chips and the third ordered the Cuban sandwich. The fish and chips were okay, fried cod. not too thick of a batter and the fries were "just fries", nothing special. My friend said his Cuban sandwich was okay, nothing great also. I did order a side salad and it was crisp, fresh and good. Bottom line is the food is just okay, not great. This is just overpriced frozen food. The mozzarella sticks were cold and tasted like the TGIF frozen ones. The marinara wasn't good at all. The fries were cold, not crispy, and salty too. The onion rings weren't crispy at all. They were mushy and soggy. $16 for all of that and that's because we had a free appetizer coupon which of course they used on the $3 fries. I looked for Philly Cheesesteak on Yelp. Our usual spot was closed due to the threat of Hurricane Florence. Decided to give Beef O'Bradys a try. The restaurant was a bit dark inside so I got my order to go. I ordered cheesesteak sandwiches and a few wings. The customer service was friendly and helpful. My order was prepared pretty quickly and smelled delicious. Unfortunately, the food did not taste as great as it smelled. The quality and quantity was fine but the food lacked seasoning and taste. The sandwiches looked well made but the meat, peppers and onion were bland. The small amount of cheese was in the bottom of the roll. The wings, were cooked just the way I like them, well done and slightly crispy. The buffalo sauce, however had no taste! I drove two hours to visit my son in Columbia to celebrate his birthday. We get to the restaurant and it is completely empty with only one other table seated. We order our drinks appetizers and dinner all at the same time after waiting roughly about 10 minutes to be greeted. There is a party of five and one person receive their food prior to us receiving our appetizer. And then all of a sudden one more person gets their food after about 10 minutes. My husband's food came out incorrectly so therefore he sent it back for a correction. Another person gets their food five minutes later. And at this point we were frustrated at the situation so we decided to speak to manager who had a bad attitude about her shortstaffed even though we were the only party in there. No apologies were given at this point my husband became furious with the situation. Finally his food comes out and he sent it back he was too upset to eat. The waitress did finally apologized and gave us free dessert with a 20% discount. This is very frustrating when you travel so far and try to have a good celebration and you end up having poor service. Will definitely not be coming back. Lunch was good. The chicken tacos we had for an appetizer was average. Needed a little more flavor. The Beef O' Brady burger was flavorful and cooked just right (I ordered it well done). Everything came out in a timely manner. Now for the service. Our waitress Nilssa is AWESOME! She was the only waitress working at the time we came in (Monday 1:40 PM - 2:45 PM) and there were 6 tables she took care of and she never missed a beat. She took care of all 6 tables like it was just 1. Drinks got refilled before even asking for a refill. She routinely checked on each table. Management came out to ask each table how things were.
