Great place for bar style food. Love that you can bring your pups! Fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese were awesome as well as the wings!

    a plate of crab legs

Don't have a picture of the food because we never got any. Polliwogs posted this 6 days ago but then never answered when people asked the price or if they needed reservations. Tried to call to ask if we needed a reservation and their phone was off the hook all week. So my friend and I decided to just go there. When the waitress said we needed a reservation we told her that we tried but we could never get through. She said yes their phone has not been working. So then we asked how could we make a reservation? Her answer was, it's not my fault. Just mentioning this so people don't waste their time in the future.

The all you can eat crabs were good! I only wish they had it where you can place an order because I'm normally done after 1 time.

The decor is your typical seafood boil decor. I loved the fish hanging from the ceilings. Our server was Jody and she alone deserves 5 stars. She was so amazing and took great care of us. If we come back I will request her each time. The Food: we had a big group so everyone ordered a variety of things. I opted for a few things off the appetizer menu. I ordered the Fried Scallops which came with 6 scallops, the Hushpuppies which came with 10 hushpuppies and a cinnamon butter dip, and lastly I ordered the the Fried Shrimp which came with 10 shrimps and cocktail sauce. Everything was pretty good. The scallops were my least favorite, I was not a fan of the chewiness, but dipped in some tartar sauce they were not that bad. I also did not like the small portion of scallops for the price. The hushpuppies were amazing! They had a delicious taste and also had chunks of corn in it which I loved. The corn wasn't too chunky and blended perfectly with the breading. The cinnamon butter dip that came with it added a nice sweet touch but I honestly preferred them by itself. The shrimp were nice and chunky and battered to perfection. I would say the shrimp did lack flavor on the breading, but I ordered a side of Cajun sauce and mixed it with the tartar sauce and that really elevated the shrimp. Everyone else really enjoyed their food. Some people ordered seafood bags and were very pleased with their portions and taste. We even had a birthday cake that Jody was so gracious to store for us until it was time to eat it. Very glad I got a chance to try out Yummi Crab, we will definitely be back when we are craving seafood or Jody's great customer service.

Hubby order the flounder (which was plentiful) and the onion rings had a nice crunch. The seafood boil (I got lobster, mussels, shrimp, and crawfish) with Yummi Special Seasoning with no spice. I found out that the "spice" is the flavor! Our server brought me the medium spice to add to my bag and it brought flavor profile up big time! Medium was not spicy at all. I recommend adding a spice level to avoid a bland bag. The oysters were also very good. The atmosphere was inviting, and restrooms were clean. We'll definitely be back!

The reviews for this place were so mixed that I was afraid to try them. But a friend of mine…read moresuggested we go there, so I agreed...I wanted to be able to form my own opinion. My friend reserved a table for us, so we were seated as soon as we got there (this was a Friday evening, by the way). The dining area is spacious, and the music they played the whole evening was fabulous (think older R&B like Anita Baker, The Isley Brothers, Aaliyah, etc.). Our server was very attentive, and checked on us the whole time. Now, the food. I started with three appetizers: the crab cakes, calamari, and vegetable egg rolls. All of it was delicious, but I think the crab cakes were my favorite. I'll be completely honest about the egg rolls. While they were good, the portion size could be a little better. You get two egg rolls cut in half for $8 (I think). I could stomach that price a little better if you got three egg rolls. But even saying that, I will pay exorbitant amounts for good food because I'm greedy. In fact, I went to Bluefin today for lunch and got the egg rolls again. I just want to let the people know what to expect. The main dish: I ordered the Pan Seared Black Bass (Barramundi), and it was sooo good! I only tasted it at the restaurant because I was stuffed from the appetizers. But the fish had a crispy skin and was seared to perfection. The Brussels sprouts were amazing, and so was the fried rice! I was so excited to have this dish as leftovers the next day, and it did not disappoint! Portion sizes were generous, and everything was seasoned well. I'm so sorry that I don't have pics! But the next time I go, I promise to update this review to add them. Anyway, give this place a try. I think you'll enjoy.

We were instructed to seat ourselves, and was greeted immediately by our server. It's not huge inside but there is plenty of seating along with bar seating as well. We ordered so much! For starters we ordered the Cucumbers with garlic sauce which were so good, the cabbage which was packed with so much flavor, and the spring rolls which I didn't get a chance to try but my mom loved them. We also got an order of the Pan Fried Vegetable buns which were so pillowy soft, and scallion pancakes which were so good. The scallion pancakes were more crispy than what I'm used to and I would have preferred more scallions, but the flavor was still really good. For our course we ordered the Noodles in scallion oil with vegetables and the Sesame pasta noodles with vegetables. Everything was delicious and you get really nice portions. Our server was so nice and checked in us frequently. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and glad we got a chance to try it out. We'll definitely be back for more!

She walked by my table twice in that time. Ordered the house salad, which was the only semi decent thing. Their house salad comes in a huge bowl, and contains 90% of californias daily export nationally. (Aka it was too large) Ordered the cra(b)P legs in a bag. I really don't like the seafood in a bag concept to begin with. It cheapens what should be a good experience to serve . Microplastics are the best thing since MSG according to most crab in a bag restaurants, they really add a certain umami to the dish what with the polyethylene and oil and natural gas derivatives... Sorry, I got off track... The bag came with two clusters, two potatoes that honestly seemed like they had been mashed and then reconstituted in a skin, and a half ear of soggy corn. The crab, if I can call it such, was pretty lackluster. Normally when one breaks a crab leg, there is a subtle dance of can I get the meat out in one piece? In this instance, every leg, and pincher I broke open was mush that would not pull out of the shell. I tried their gloves, only to realize what little meat I could force out with my fingers ended up on the table or the floor. After taking the gloves off, I found it slightly less difficult to ream my finger in a split shell and get the mush out. I love crab legs when prepared well. This place did not prepare crab legs well. Overcooked, or borderline past expiration.. 0/10 Will not return..

They were impressed with the look and ambience. The waitress was quick to take our drink orders and came back shortly to take our lunch orders. Great pricing...most of the lunch specials are $8.95. We ordered quite a variety off the menu. A couple of the spicy Tangerine chicken with rice or fried rice, General Tso's Chicken, Beef with Broccoll, Spicy Thai Chicken wings and an order of "sea weed" (which was great according to the one that ordered it, Udon Noodles, Miso Soup, Egg rolls and spring rolls. Another Tangerine Chicken guy said he would've liked more heat, as did the spicy Chicken Wing guy! I tried a cup of miso soup, as I usually do when I go to Japanese/Asian restaurants and found it not as good as others I've had.
