We had no idea what to order so we ordered a little of everything! ...and EVERYTHING was good. The food was fresh and tasted made to order. Even the smoothies were good. I also order hot water and lemon wherever I go and they gave me the most charming tea pot and cup. This was icing on the cake. Our favorite dish was the chicken dumplings and the seaweed salad was the best we've ever had. We look forward to going back soon!

YU Noodles is officially my favorite noodle spot in NE Columbia. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The location has just enough seating and I am personally a fan of small intimate settings. Let's talk about the food! The shrimp and pork soup noodles were absolutely delicious. The dumpling wrapper was just sturdy enough to hold everything in there without being overly chewy. The broth and the pork and shrimp meatball in the soup dumpling was light and flavorful. The star of the show for me was the Chongqing Noodles. This broth packed some amazing flavor! The noodles had the perfect chew to them. The egg, bok choy and minced veggies were the perfect accompaniment to this broth and noodles. I could do without the peanuts but that's just my preference. Can't wait to come back and try some different soup dumplings as well as their dim sum options.

service was great.. refills and check-ups were frequent even when the restaurant got busy. ambiance was a mix of modern with tradition that I thought was tastefully done. we ordered the Sichuan noodles, pork soup dumplings, and sticky rice with pork shaman. noodles broth was good and meat was fairly tender; I feel if they had used oxtail or short rib to braise in the soup it would have taken the dish to another level...anyway I digress...the noodles were thick and chewy...I prefer thinner egg noodles with this kind of soup butbiverall it was tasty and we ate most of it. the soup dumplings were good...a lot of meat in the inside...would have loved a little more soup. sticky pork shumai was yummy, I added some chili oil to give it a kick. i would love to try other dishes another day so will likely be back!

My friend recommended we go here for lunch and it was a great choice because I've been wanting dim sum for awhile. I got the fried wings with spicy oil sauce, crystal shrimp dumplings and the spicy oil pork wontons. The prices are fairly decent for the food. The shrimp dumplings were a good size and it came with 5 , I put chili oil and soy sauce on them and they were delicious and melted in my mouth. The pork wontons were equally as good, really good flavor and they had 10 of them. I didn't know they had peanuts on them, I don't really care for peanuts but it added a nice texture. The wings were crispy, tender, good amount of meat, but there was no flavor. It was just coated in spicy oil, but it wasn't spicy, no seasoning so those were a little let down. I got taro bubble tea which was really good. I wish it was a little bit more creamy, because it did taste a little watery but overall pretty good for $5. I tried the mango pomelo sago and although it is popular, I personally didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Maybe if it had bigger chunks of mango for texture, I'd have a different opinion but I think the tart pomelo and the texture of the sago was throwing me off. It was definitely creamy and mango forward though. Overall the meal was 8/10. Great experience. The restaurant itself looks beautiful and our waitress was very nice and helpful. I'd def come back for dim sum again because I want to try the steam pork buns.

This place is my new fav. The service is great, the restaurant is so clean, and the food is incredible. Everything was so flavorful, and they actually make the noodles by hand in-house. Really good portions for a fair price too.

First time at a Ramen restaurants. We wasn't sure what to get, asked the server for recommendations and he did amazing. The wait was very short, food came out hot and freash. Flavors was amazing. Very small and intricate. The sichaun beef noodles was delicious. I recommend adding chilli sauce, soy and vinegar for added flavors. The pan frie chive and pork dumplings delicious and honey wings. Ambiance was great. My food was so good I returned for dinner. Seaweed salad , peppercorn spicy chicken and scallion pancake. Must try i will defend be back when I return.

    Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings

My wife and I went here for the first time today. All tables were empty at 12:15 and after we were seated I think they had three other tables with customers. Waiter was quick to take our order and we just had a water and hot green tea for drinks. I ordered N3(Sichuan beef noodles soup) and my wife ordered N6 (Noodles with scallion oil and chicken). We also ordered an appetizer of the chicken wings (6). They come in spicy garlic or lemon pepper. We chose the lemon pepper. The wings were crisp and loaded with lemon pepper. So much that it was hard to even eat them. I love wings but these were so overpowered that my wife took one bite and that was enough. I scraped off as much as I could, but would not order them again. My wife's dish was not very good. He said it was white meat but it was hard to see any chicken at all. They were very very small cubes of chicken (from what she saw). I did see one cube of chicken and it looked dark to me. She ate about 1/8 of her meal. My Sichuan beef was just okay. The beef broth had a little bit of a spice after taste that was ok. The noodles are hard to eat because they are so long. Once you get the hang of pulling them up and biting them in half it starts to work! The beef? I'd read other reviews saying the beef was not tender and they couldn't chew it. My beef was chewable and not like rubber, but I must say that any of the pieces that had fat on it were pretty much unchewable and I had to put them aside into a small bowl next to me. The fat really messed it up for me. Total bill without tip was $40.70. I don't think we'll be returning.

I've heard a lot of good things about this place so the expectation was pretty high but it was just okay to me. I ordered the Sichaun Beef Noodle soup and the Garlic Cucumbers. First, I don't like ciltantro at all and didn't know it was on both of the items I ordered. I picked it off the best I could and didn't hold that against them. The cucumber were good! The soup was just okay . The broth wasn't bad but something was missing in my opinion. The lady that helped me order was very friendly! I'm not against going again to try out some other items .

    Chili oil is authentic

The food is quite authentic Chinese except Chong you ( green onion oil) pancake. I'm glad that they have some not Americanized Chinese food. It's comforting for my homesick stomach. They are fast in getting food ready.

You want some tea? It comes in a cute little teapot!

One thing that immediately stood out to me is they are called Hokkaido raamen, but dont have Hokkaido raamen (Hokkaido raamen tends to be buttery with seafood.. but there are many variations). The pros: very friendly staff that didnt charge me extra for a sprinkle of cilantro. Clean place and well presented food. The cons: noodles are way too soggy. Good raamen needs to be much firmer. The chashu (por) for the price of the dish should have been the size of my fist, but was more the size of a couple thin slices of Canadian bacon. The temperature was also luke warm. Ramen needs to be hot hot hot (forgivable though because I imagine a lawsuit if it b was served as its supposed to be) Overall: way too over priced for what it is. I would say this is a $7 bowl of raamen. Don't get me wrong... it was tasty... but heavily price gouged. Alas.. this is kind of par for course for raamen stateside. I might go here once or twice a year... its like having a fast food burger that costs 20$.. the burger may be great but the price drains the flavor.

What I didn't really like was their policy of charging money for tap water. You don't expect this in America. I went to their soda machine to get some water, thinking there would be some cheap $0.01 plastic cups, and that's when I saw a sign saying you have to pay for water. NOT what I expected after ordering and paying for a ramen soup. I asked if there was any way to get a free cup of water, thinking maybe they kept the cups behind the counter, and they said no, you have to buy a cup for the tap water. In my mind, if you have to nickle and dime us $0.50 for tap water, you're doing things wrong as a business. Charge what you have to so people don't have to ask about paying money for tap water and you don't have to put up stupid signs saying you have to pay for water. I mean, come on. That looks SO PETTY and CHEAP! This place was so low life, they even had signs saying don't sit down until you order something taped on the walls all around the restaurant. That really made it look cheap. Where am I, China? Pakistan? Didn't feel like Japan... and certainly didn't feel like America. I didn't try to use the restroom. I don't know if they charge a fee for that... or the toilet paper... I think we as a society need to strongly push back against this type of 'fee' trend in restaurants. Yea, it's their business and they can run it the way they want, but I can also give a poor review and not come back. Your choice. I would of tipped the worker $3-4 based on service. Instead I was charged $0.50 and won't come back.
