First time here and it was so good! Our waiter helped us choose three rolls and all were delicious and fresh. My favorite was the Lake Murray roll. The service was also great, can't wait to go back!

This service here is what stands out the most- in my opinion it was better than some of the fine dining experiences I have had. When you walk in the door you're promptly greeted with smiling faces. The servers are so welcoming and seem so genuine. We had Cindy(not sure about spelling) as our server lunch and she was delightful. I asked for some wasabi and she brought me a huge portion of it- so generous and helpful. The food came out quick and it the quality was up to my standards. This bento box was $14 I believe and I definitely could get two meals out of it. At the end of our meal she even brought us Togo waters and extra yum yum sauce Togo- truly so thoughtful! The final aspect that sent this service over the edge was another employee held the door for us as we left. They truly went above and beyond and I can't recommend this place enough for a quick, affordable lunch with superior service.

Good food. Good service!!! Been coming here all the time. This is one of my favorites restaurant so far

Konnichiwa came in clutch as I was craving sushi but it was too late for lunch and too early for dinner. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. This is a great spot for sushi on the go or for you to sit down and try something. Both of the rolls I had were flavorful! The aesthetic leaves a bit to be desired but isn't bad. Only reason I didn't give this a five star review was due to their limited nigiri options. Overall super solid and I would visit again.

    Reidville roll

Loved it! Went for lunch and it was quiet and relaxing. Service was amazing. Atmosphere is dark, kinda small, but inviting. I got edamame and the Reidville roll which is deep fried and so delicious!! Their tea had a nice tea flavor (I know, that sounds silly, but some tea tastes like sweet water.) Everything came quickly. Only downside is the parking lot is the worst. Excited to go back!!

Went to this restaurant in search of good sushi and Hibachi. We arrived on a Wednesday. We were seated immediately. Sushi was really good. My husband got some roll with craw fish and I got the twist and shout. My husband ordered a bento box which he said was really good. I got one of the filet bowls and we decided to split. Some SEA scallops. Waiter informed us it would be the "big ones cut up!" We in fact received bay scallops. So $15 we get bay scallops. Bowl was $20 and I did not receive filet. I got a bunch of different pieces of steak cut up. I would not return here for general Hibachi seeing my bill was $85 and I got bay scallops and pieces of other steaks cut up and called filet mignon. Sushi was good. Place appeared semi clean floors were fairly dirty but the building smelled fishy. We did feel a little rushed to order. Oh the vegetable tempura was very good. Pretty tasteless food for a lot of money. Sushi was worth it but that the Hibachi.

Come hungry because the portions are large! Bento boxes have a great variety of options. Hibachi bowls are also very large, and the shrimp are clean and large sized. Great for lunch or dinner and you really could share one plate with someone else and both leave full.

Delicious fried sushi rolls! Has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. The only downside is that this location is small and the tables in some sections are a bit crowded/cramped.

Good food. Service seemed rushed. Waitress stood over us waiting with the handheld, when we asked for some time to look over the menu. Nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

Even with the Friday night rush, the hostess was warm and welcoming and got us seated quickly and efficiently, which we really appreciated. Our waitress was outstanding. She was attentive without being overbearing, checked on us consistently, and helped guide us through the menu with great recommendations. We started with the lobster spring rolls and a salmon roll. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with large chunks of lobster -- not skimpy at all. The salmon roll was some of the freshest sushi I've had in a long time. For my entrée, I ordered the walnut shrimp. The shrimp were gigantic, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was so good I literally slapped the table. No shame. We will absolutely be back. If you're looking for great Asian fusion with excellent service and fresh ingredients, Antai delivers.

One thing that immediately stood out to me is they are called Hokkaido raamen, but dont have Hokkaido raamen (Hokkaido raamen tends to be buttery with seafood.. but there are many variations). The pros: very friendly staff that didnt charge me extra for a sprinkle of cilantro. Clean place and well presented food. The cons: noodles are way too soggy. Good raamen needs to be much firmer. The chashu (por) for the price of the dish should have been the size of my fist, but was more the size of a couple thin slices of Canadian bacon. The temperature was also luke warm. Ramen needs to be hot hot hot (forgivable though because I imagine a lawsuit if it b was served as its supposed to be) Overall: way too over priced for what it is. I would say this is a $7 bowl of raamen. Don't get me wrong... it was tasty... but heavily price gouged. Alas.. this is kind of par for course for raamen stateside. I might go here once or twice a year... its like having a fast food burger that costs 20$.. the burger may be great but the price drains the flavor.

But immediately the service that the waitress informed us that they do not serve on Sundays, which must be new to us because we have always been here on Sundays and been able to do cocktails not only that the food was not the best not as fresh at all. Also, the waitress seemed to be very forgetful, even though we were literally one of four tables, it was 3 PM totally not busy at all. She must be too busy with her personal life or on her phone in the back room to attend and do her job properly. I rarely leave reviews like this, but I will never be coming here again. The owner or manager should really be more present and attentive as to how the servers speak to and communicate to PAYING customers. PAYING customers are literally how we fund your business! Don't forget that. RAY was our servers name. She was sweet enough but absolutely should NOT be a waitress or server anywhere. She really needs to look for a job that she's more qualified for. I was a server and bartender for over 10 years. It is really not that hard to get things right especially when you have four tables to attend to and that's it. This is the last straw. I told everyone in the restaurant never come back here sorry that I made a scene, but I highly recommend going to konnichiwa up the street. I promise you if this place does not reply or change it's ways I will recommend every single person coming in this is to rethink and drive half a mile to konnichiwa which is far better fresher and not frozen or rotted tasting food.

I was given chicken nuggets and told they don't have chicken wings... Glad I found their menu online to prove I wasn't crazy. Everything is either overcooked, dry, or super salty. No idea why this place was even packed. Sushi rice was dry. The chicken nugget thing mentioned above was overly dry and salty. Tonkotsu Ramen was overcooked. Either they chose the wrong type of noodle or let it sit forever before serving it. The two slices of meat that came with the ramen was maybe from pork chop meat? Usually it's made with cha shew meat or pork belly. Two super lean and dry slices of meat made the bowl look like a joke. The noodle was salty enough that I don't even want to try the broth. Edamame was okay. Other than the fact that they don't look appetizing, the shell was brownish and many bean pockets (if you know what I was trying to say) were empty, that's probably the best dish on the table.
