Very diner like. Our server was pretty rude. So, no. We wanted to like it but we were not impressed at all.

Great food and staff. Made us feel like family. The fish and chips were particularly delicious. Honestly no complaints.

. Prices to high for family's and people on fixed income. Food was average nothing to brag about. A little disappointed with it.

The…read morerestaurant is industrial, big windows, exposed brick, grand lighting but still has an intimate feel. Our server introduced herself with menus & drink options in tow. Not sure about the music selection, as we dove right into scanning the menu and enjoying the options. We had the Japanese fried chicken (3.5/6) and the Prosciutto Wrapped Fontina (6/6) would definitely order again as it was delicious. We selected the butchers board (6/6) with asparagus & bacon mac and cheese for our sides - medium rare of course. The spread was delicious. We had a mule and a blueberry spritz to accompany the meal. As the sun set, the locations lights seemed to dim as well, ramping up the intimate feel. Server checked in multiple times (her name is Victoria Batte). Ordered crème brûlée for dessert and left stuffed.

We started with the deviled eggs which seemed like they didn't even try to add flavor. Only one person in the group ordered steak which was not cooked to the order, and was completely unevenly prepared. Two people in the group ordered the burger which were ordered as medium and came overly well done. The prices are the only high end items on the menu. I have no problem paying for a decent meal, however the Chophouse of Chapin needs to address the food quality. I would advise to go elsewhere for your dinner plans.

We ordered the garlic cheese curds as an appetizer and they were full of flavor, and not too garlicky. I had the grilled Salmon with grilled asparagus and sweet potato fries. The asparagus was perfectly seasoned, not soaked in sauce, the sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and the salmon was flaky and delicious. My husband had the fried shrimp with southwest hush puppies which were both fried to perfection. The banana cream cheesecake was the perfect takeaway dessert and it was so rich and creamy. We will definitely be back!

The prices are reasonable compared to SoFlo. My favorite thing is their hush puppies. Perfectly fried and soft on the inside. We usually go for dinner. This time we were there for lunch. We ordered the special Mahi with a side of fries. My husband Mahi was served blackened, delicious fresh and perfectly cooked. I ordered the grouper bites with two sides, sautéd veggies and hush puppies. The grouper was fresh, plentiful. I usually order the fried green tomatoes and the hush puppies as a starter. We have also had the pasta and the crab cakes, equally delicious. Menu also offers burgers, sandwiches, wings and vegetarian options. There's outdoor seating. And parking in the back. Highly recommend.

It was a Friday evening and the restaurant was quite full. Three of us ordered a fancy margarita--I believe it was coconut flavored. I ordered a glass of Riesling. It was surprisingly on the dry side, which I didn't mind at all. My wife didn't care for her margarita, and thus just confirmed once again that she does care for tequila-based drinks. For our entrées, D, his wife and I had seafood platters; his was deep fried, and mine was broiled. He got two seafood selections and I got three--oysters, shrimp and scallops. She went with a fried oyster platter. My broiled seafood was simply seasoned with Old Bay, but it worked for me. The oysters were sweet and lightly broiled. The shrimp was flavorful, as well as the scallops. While I didn't taste any deep fried seafood, the batter looked crunchy and lightly breaded. My wife had the she-crab soup, with a side of sherry, and she loved it. It was creamy, and was served with a dollop of crab on top. She also had a spinach salad with almonds and strawberries-- topped with baked salmon. The sides for our platters included sweet and white potato fries, and cole slaw. I was impressed with the price of my platter, how it was prepared, and the flavor. We opted for a unique desert--a gelato bomb. It consists of a ball of ice cream wrapped in chocolate cake. Very good. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating . I think her name was Chelsea. She is a fine server. Hats off to Catch 22. Keep up the good work.
