Called Applebee's Super Bowl Sunday morning at 11:00 am. I placed an order for 3 orders of bone-in wings to pick up at 5:15 pm. Because my order was over $40.00 I was entitled to 20 bone less wings for free. The person I placed the order with told me I was all set. I called back at 3:00pm to add 2 more orders of bone-in wings. At that time I was told they ran out of bone-in wings and I would have to get boneless wings. I was also told that I could not get the additional free 20 boneless wings for ordering at least $40.00 for my order because I did not order on line. What is the difference, pick up in person or order on line. I'm 80 years old and don't do on line. When I picked up my 5 orders of boneless wings that totalled $64.95, the bag felt light, but really did not pay attention to the light weight. When I arrived home I opened the bag and saw 2 containers ofv20 boneless wings each. When I opened the containers and saw that most of the wings were a little bit bigger than the size of a quarter, I was embarrassed to seve them to my guests. I decided to have another lunch at Applebee's. This time I got my favorite: Chicken Wonton Tacos. I also was excited that my review was being featured when people was looking at Applebee's in my area. The time was Monday, September 5, 2022 at 1:30-2:00pm. Unfortunately, I gave four stars due to my all-time favorite not being as tasty as I hoped for. I still enjoy the White Queso and chips along with my drink. I hope Applebees sees my review and writes back. I appreciate all of you reading my reviews. Also, our server Tabitha was really nice and so pleasant I took a picture of the Chicken Wonton Tacos because who doesn't like pictures of food unless it's old and nasty then I can understand. The evening started by making a reservation that was not honored hostess was very rude and unprofessional after being seated finally waited more than 10 minutes for someone to even come over and take a drink order took an additional 10 to 15 minutes to get drink from the bar. I unearthed a gift card while housecleaning and used it as the perfect t excuse to avoid cooking. We ordered online for pickup because we keep our toddler and infant chaos at home and it was a breeze. Website wasn't glitchy, they had a drive through, and despite arriving a few minutes early, they handed it out immediately. I got fried shrimp and the breading was pretty thick, but it was ok. My breastfeeding daughter had no complaints either a couple hours later. My son got the kids chicken alfredo and most of it ended up on his body, but he ate a good amount too. Hubby got steak, medium rare, and said it tasted better than his brothers steaks, so, make of that what you will. All in all, easy to get and fairly tasty. What a surprise find! We are here after another restaurant did not have enough staff. This place was hopping! I think they were still stressed with understaffing but the people were welcoming and friendly! We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving on a busy Saturday night. Our waitress was great, staying attentive without getting engaged in frustration. My husband ordered a beer on tap that he said wasn't what he ordered. Despite pulling it twice, he wasn't able to get what he wanted and went with something else. We ordered pretzels for an appetizer, then salads and a chicken broccoli Alfredo. The pretzels were hot and fresh. Great start to the meal! The salads and pasta took awhile to arrive. I'm not sure if it was because our waitress was working so many tables or a problem in the kitchen. It was good when it arrived. I think it had been waiting a few minutes in the back. It's been a long time since we've ate at an Applebee's but the free veteran day meal brought us back. I ordered the steak and potatoes and my wife ordered a chicken salad bowl thing. We were impressed at the steak and food. Usually, the same meal is 2 for $22. That's a bargain. We are burn out on other steak places which have been over priced for years. I ordered the "2 for $20" deal on labor day for lunch. The half rack ribs with green beans and the upgraded 3 cheese man & cheese. Then I also had the fiesta lime chicken. I ordered the texas BBQsauce for my ribs. I ordered them carside to go. So it sends me a text my food will be ready at 1:17pm. I pulled into the parking lot around 1:12 and texted to say I had arrived as instructed. The automatic response said my food would be out shortly. I noticed a guy next to me in the carside to go parking spot (who obviously got there before me). I wait and finally text at around 1:27 that my food was supposed to be ready 10 minutes ago and that some guy next to still hasn't gotten his food either. What do you know? A few minutes later a human shows up and takes our names. A few minutes later she brings out our food. I literally live about 5 minutes from this Applebees. My food was cold. The cheese on the chicken congealed to a solid mass. The ribs were barely luke warm. There was no Texas BBQ sauce. And upgraded mac & cheese (which I paid extra for) was disgusting. Dry noodles with a tiny splash of sauce and no grated cheese on top as advertised. Seriously, I was disappointed but I didn't have time to ask for new food because that would have madd me late for work. This location isn't much different than any other. Our son is in the Army and husband is a veteran so we went for veterans day. They were each given a free meal from select menu items. The select menu had a little of everything. They were also give a $5 card for future use. The food was good, the kids were happy. Lots of veterans and active duty being treated with all the respect they deserve the only issue we had was a hair in one of the meals which the manager addressed promptly. read more

Normally restaurants will have a gimmick, something that separates them from other places .applebees was the dollar margarita the "dollarita". I am a fan of mixed drinks so I felt I had to try it. I've been to this location before...and it was horrible...however, this time was MUCH better! When we arrived there were several people waiting to be seated, although the restaurant was not crowded... Apparently they didn't have a hostess?...The manager came over and quickly tried to seat everyone. Our server Lala was very nice and brought all of our food out quickly and in a timely manner! My son waited for about 20 minutes to get his tea refilled and my French onion soup was greasy. Price's have gone up while quality of food has gone down. I don't typically review franchise/commercial restaurants and businesses but I'm making an exception this time just to put a warning out there: it's not that I was the recipient of poor service or even an exceptionally poor quality of food, but lured in by a marketing ploy and then deceived by their failure to deliver on the promise made. I joined some co-workers for the "All You Can Eat" (notice the quotes; if I were telling this story in person, I would, without hesitation, wrap this phrase in air quotes and a heavy dose of sarcasm) soup and salad lunch special. I didn't go in with the intention of shutting the place down, or anything, but I wanted to ensure I was getting a fair return on my expense. So when you put your order in and it's brought out, you get a small bowl of soup, measuring around 6-8oz, and a small salad (read: lettuce with dressing) on the side, and a breadstick (which you'd better be sure to savor, because they're "not allowed" (again, be sure to liberally apply a dollop of sarcasm as you read that) to offer any more breadsticks after the first one), all on one (already small) plate... with plenty of real estate left. I get 3 rounds down - that puts me up to, you know, nearly a can of soup and 1 actual side salad, so I still have some room for another round or two - when the waiter walks by, quickly and discreetly placing our checks on the table without checking on us to see if we'd like to put in another order, and not stopping to give us the chance to ask. Dirty. Ric Flair just shook his head in disgust at that move... I could have played his game and waited him out, forcing him to come back to the table to check on the status of my payment, but I didn't want to hold anyone from my party up so I just paid (ready the sarcasm cannons: Oh, *here* he comes...
