Most Chili's restaurants are the same. Over priced food, but usually pretty good. Not being a meat eater, I go with a sort of Mediterranean chicken salad. Their food is okay, but highly overpriced. Their low grade is because of the horrible service. You will have to wait at least 15 minutes before anyone seats you, and another 15 before a server enters your section, and that's when it's not busy. The worst in service. Twice I entered. First time, I understood it being slow because there was half a crowd there. Second time, I was the only one in my section, and there weren't more than six customers in the entire building, while over a dozen workers were walking around. Yet no one was waiting any tables. Not having ordered, I just got up and left after five minutes, with not so much as a glass of water yet to the table. Horrible atmosphere. Unfriendly. I seem to attract servers who need more training. That being said, we went this past weekend with another couple and surprisingly on a Saturday night, were seated right away. The restaurant was pretty full, but there were a handful of tables open. It took our server about 10 minutes to come get our drink order, but in all honesty, it was fine because that gave us time to look over the menu and order all at once. Our orders were placed and my husband got the one and only refill of the night (prior to the food even arriving). The rest of us went without a drink about halfway through our meal. Our server was too busy swinging his hips and singing to Beyonce to really care about us (this is in fact what he was doing, not me being a jerk). After we flagged him down several times for refills (which never came) and additional tortilla shells for the fajitas (which were brought after we flagged down another server), we finally asked for our checks. OOOH boy. This is where I really lost it and decided NEVER to go back. Josh and I ordered off of the 2 for $20 menu. Neither of us substituted (it is clearly stated you are charged for substitutions) so when our bill arrived and was closer to $35 than the $25 we had figured, I examined it. Sure enough - the appetizer and two entrees that were on the 2 for $20 menu were starred, but not reduced to that price. 20 minutes later when we finally saw our server again, I pointed it out and we got a hand flip and he said "oh yeah, I know - I'll ring it in when I get your payment." Nope - sorry buddy - I want a receipt with the correct total on it. So he brought us a corrected receipt (and a heavy sigh) and then took our payment. Never apologized - never asked if we wanted boxes (again, had to flag down another server). Never checked on us throughout the meal. Needless to say, his tip was not my most generous and I will not be returning. I did check with other friends who have been to Chili's and they all had the same issue with the 2 for $20 check. Newly opened and much anticipated. As we arrived we were seated quickly much to our surprise. It was busy but not packed so we really couldnt understand why it took so long for our waitress to bring our drinks. However when the foor arrived it was piping hot and really good. I had the avacado burger and fries and the burger was fresh as was the avacado. I will defnitely be going again to try the margaritas. read more

Is the intent of the 50% capacity during Covid (7/2021) to make it easier for the restaurant to function or to spread people out more to lessen Covid transmission? To close down the entire right side of the restaurant and then fill every single table on the left (bar) side of the restaurant is totally asanine! The food was decent, our server was good but the hostess was terrible. She seemed confused and disoriented the entire time. I love the Chilis in Huntington, WV, but I will not be back to this one. My mom and me went out to eat dinner tonight here and our food came out my food was hot or at least warm. And my mother's asparagus was dead cold and her steak and mushrooms were hot. Waitress was good. We paid our bill then someone came over to check on us and asked if we needed anything and my friend ordered another drink after only having ONE. Manager I'm assuming came over and started questioning my friend on how many drinks he had after waiting 30 minutes for this drink and we already paid too. She can see how many drinks were bought on the check. I'm a server and know 3 drinks per hour is the limit. He had one and we were there for 2 hours. I love chili's they have the best burgers ( black bean that is) and I really really love their nachos!! They give you a really big pile of them ( which is a plus for me) and if you happen to not finish them all they even give you a bag to take them home which is another plus for me because honestly who likes wasting food?? When this restaurant opened I was really excited to try it, but ended up being disappointed. They give you very large portions, and they're reasonably priced.... but compared to real mexican restaurants the food is bland. There's a lot of it, but all of the mexican flavor is gone! My husband and I got the 2 for 20 meal deal. For our apetizer we got guacomole and salsa. The salsa was good, but the guacomole was pretty much tasteless. It didn't taste like guacomole at all, and it was way too chunky. I ordered the chicken fajita, it was okay... but the chicken tasted charred. My husband ordered the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. I think that was pretty good, however the rice that it came with was tasteless as well. Overall, if you've never been to a mexican restaurant you might really like this place, if you have though, I wouldn't recommend it, it just seems below par. read more

Service was good, even when they were extremely busy.. I just wasn't impressed by the food. I ordered the sirloin and it was just a really low quality meat. If I come back, I'll probably stick to an appetizer as my meal. Aside from that, the noise level was through the roof. Every single table had at least one small child. Our service was very good. I accidentally spilled tea on me & our waitress brought more napkins to help me clean up mess. While I thought the food was very goid, my husband was not impressed. He got steamed broccoli & asked for extra butter . The butter would not melt on the broccoli. He was also not impresses by the mash potatos, but he doesn't like melted cheese either. Ate there today for Mothers Day, and let's just say I had two bites of my food. I ordered a Medium rare steak with a side of mashed potatoes. My first steak that came out wasn't even red/pink in the middle. The whole steak was brown, but not cooked brown, it looked like it had been sitting out for a long period of time and then they cooked it, so at no point would it have been red/pink. After I took one bite I could tell something was wrong, it tasted really weird and so I had them cook another "fresh" steak. They bring it out and it looked the exact same. I took a picture of it and then she walked away and gotten her manager. The manager came back and said so I heard something is wrong with the Serivce? I was not trying to be rude, or make this an issue but the manager just came out acting super rude. She said "I looked at the steak it looks fine, how do you want it cooked? Is it not being cooked right?" I said I want it cooked medium rare which means pink/ red in the middle, when you look at that steak it is not pink or red the entire thing is brown, even where it isn't fully cooked. She then tried to argue and then act like okay well do you want something else on the menu? I said no I don't want anything, so she took it off the bill. I will not be eating there, nor would I recommend anyone eat a steak from there. read more

Haven't been to Chili's in quite awhile, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Beed nachos and they were pretty good. Plenty of meat, cheese and beans. Hubs ordered the bacon burger. Was ok, cooked like he asked. Nothing special. I had the sirloin. Yuck!! It was a tougher cut and the butter on top just made it greasy tasting. I had the street corn and loaded potatoes. They were both ok. Our food came out room temp, not hot not cold and that was disappointing. We we're never checked on during dinner to see if we needed anything or refills. Unfortunately their food didn't size up to their quality of service. The service was outstanding! Alicia was prompt to fulfill any needs we had, and did so quickly and with kindness. The restaurant was clean and cutely designed on the inside with a mix of booths, tables, and high tops at the bar. Unfortunately the food wasn't as great. We started with a pick 3 appetizer and we were unpleasantly surprised when it arrived. Their presentation needs some serious help, the appetizer looked sad. And the taste matched how pathetic it looked. The southwest egg rolls were mushy, the fries pickles soggy, and the chicken was just ok. For our main meals my husband's burger was overcooked and dried out, even though he asked for a pink center. I tasted it and it honestly taste like a fast food burger. My chipotle chicken and waffles was pretty yummy, and the portion was huge, but wasn't enough to save our experience here, and I can't say we'll be back. We hit a $50 check on 1 appetizer and 2 entrees, which for the quality we found to be over priced. read more

This was the 1st time I'd been to Chili's. My husband and I were actually pretty impressed. We had 2 waitresses while there, Sue and Megan. Both were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. We got the dinner for 2. It was a pretty good deal. An appetizer and 2 meals for $22. For our appetizer, we got the 1/2 order of Texas cheese fries. They were really good and definitely enough for 2 people. But, it didn't come with enough jalapenos for our taste. We also ordered 2 side salads extra. They were pretty big. The ranch and blue cheese were both really tasty. For my entree, I chose the Cajun chicken pasta. It was quite large. The noodles were covered in a super creamy sauce with big pieces of chicken, served with garlic bread. It was awesome! My husband chose the bacon burger. It was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful and juicy. As his side, he ordered the Mexican street corn. It was unbelievably good. The flavors were on point. I went to this Chili's at the suggestion of my fiance and her best friend. We were seated quickly and served drinks immediately. The beer that I asked for was flat. I brought it to the attention of a waitress that had nothing to do with our section because the waitress we were given was too young to serve alcohol. Ok, no big deal, I just wanted a replacement beer. I was told by the waitress that could serve alcohol that, "It's just how this beer is and it will be that way until someone changes the kegs." Fine. I took a substitute beer and forgot all about it. Our meals were delivered one at a time with about fifteen minutes separating each entree being placed on the table. I didn't get my burger until the rest of the party was almost done with their meal. After the entrees were served a third waitress dropped our appetizer on the table and immediately went back to the kitchen. The worst part of this whole ordeal was when my fiance mentioned to the waitress that her drink had not been refilled once since we sat down. The waitress' response was, "Did you ask for a refill?". "Hi, welcome to Chili's!" This famous saying from the now defunct app, Vine, raised my expectations high for this popular Tex-Mex chain. For context, me and a few of my buddies came in on a quiet Wednesday night and were immediately seated. With that out of the way, service was excellent and our server accommodated to my one friend's handicap needs (he had had hip surgery) by placing us close to the entrance for easier in-n-out access. Besides that, she helped facilitate our orders considering we all took advantage of the "$25 Meal for 2" and were a pretty rowdy bunch. I'm annoyed with my friend group after even 2 minutes of bickering so props to her for being patient with us. Bottomless Chips and Salsa=superb. Rack of ribs=exceptional. Cajun Pasta=amazing. Cookie Skillet=someone hand me a thesaurus. All in all, Chili's is one of the top when it comes to traditional family chain restaurants due to their service, food, ambience, and overall good time with friends that I haven't been able to find from a chain restaurant in a while. #ripvine read more

I asked the mgr if they always play football games w/ this loud vol on Sun afternoon, without even looking up from the table he was cleaning, he said yes. I said oh so like B'dubs? This was our first time trying Chili's and this is the first restaurant review that I have written...Yes, it was SO good that I was compelled to tell others about it! Our server was Gerrick, and I think he was psychic...lol...Every time we needed a drink, napkins, ANYTHING, we looked up and there he was...My honey had the large burger (I forgot what it was called) that was on the 2 for $20 menu, and he loved it...I didn't really know what to get so Gerrick recommended the shrimp, and it was AMAZING...The shrimp was HUGE and the breading was light and crispy...I couldn't even finish my entire dinner!...The boys also ordered a 2 for $20, one had the fajitas, the other had chicken club quesadillas...Our 5 year-old had a good-sized cheeseburger from the kids' menu. Everyone was happy and stuffed when I said, "We are going to need some boxes", then I turned my head and Gerrick was standing right beside me!...We had a terrific evening and we are looking forward to going back :). read more

Went to Chili's for lunch today. The hostess was very friendly and was able to seat us right away. Our waitress was prompt, attentive and friendly as well. The food is good for a chain restaurant. They have several selections on the lunch combo menu starting at only $6 each. I opted for the grilled chicken salad from the Lighter Side menu. It was very good but a bit over priced IMO. read more

Tried to have a bowl of soup and the server brought it and said she would return with a clean spoon since the one she had was dirty. She returned with more flatware and left the table. When I opened the new flatware, this spoon was crusty with food. I asked another server for a spoon and she left and failed to return. When I complained to my server, she left and returned with 3 spoons explaining that she had spoken with the manager who explained that all the spoons looked like that as it was discoloration from the dishwasher. I took one of her proffered spoons and scraped some food off of it and showed her that the discoloration was actually encrusted food from the last time it was used. She eventually returned with a plastic, carry out spoon but the soup had long since gotten cold and I was in no mood for waiting on a replacement. This isn't the first time I have had t send flatware back at this restaurant. I don't think their dishwasher is up to the task and when you bring it to someone's attention, it seems like they just want you to eat what they bring with whatever they bring to eat it with. read more
