I went with my family of 5 on New Year's Eve and it's safe to say it was the worst service i've ever gotten. As someone who works in a full service, very busy restaurant i find it unacceptable that the wait for our drinks and food kept us there almost 2 hrs. We were sat, took our server Maddie 15 minutes to come to our table and get us drinks. For something that take less than 4 minutes to do maybe less, 15 minutes is absolutely bizarre. Considering the restaurant was not busy at either, why did i have to ask 4 times for a chip refill and it never came? Or why was our food taking an hour to be sent out of the kitchen. When i asked for a refill i was handed the wrong drink, but it's not like i could tell my server. why? because she failed to even bring us straws or SILVERWARE with our food. this is insane to me that we are paying people for well service and i might as well have been somewhere else. i paid extra for certain things that never came. the atmosphere was overall just awful. if you as a restaurant wants to be open on a holiday, maybe don't have such a bitter team working. i understand the holiday is not fun to work on, but your entire team is incompetent considering we couldn't even get baseline service. the fact that you've managed to achieve getting any sort of good reviews is surprising after this experience. but to sum this up, we went to a restaurant sat there with no drinks for 15 min asked for refills on different things and all we got back was attitude filled answers and nothing was given. our food came out late which means she either forgot to put our order in or your line and expo is awful and you should get new people. i was given the wrong drink after asking for a refill 30 min prior then proceeded to wait for a new one only for it to never get to the table by the time we left. and of course the most important piece to eating was forgotten, which is intolerable. how does a restaurant forget to give a table silverware? it's laughable. read more

My husband and I have a tradition of going to Chili's whenever one of us gets a new job. We don't really remember how this tradition started, but we still roll with it nonetheless and we weren't about to let COVID dampen our tradition so we ordered delivery this week for our celebration. This is our second time having it delivered & this time was lightyears ahead of our last delivery. Last time the food came all soggy from the condensation in the containers, but they seem to have gotten the transpo. down because that was not an issue this time. We always order the Southwestern Egg Rolls (HIGHLY recommend), and this time my husband got the Steak Fajitas and I ordered the Ancho Salmon with the Roasted Street Corn which was a $1 up charge, but totally worth it in my opinion. Waited an hour to get our cheese sticks and two hours before our food was even ready we ended up leaving before we even got it and it took an hour to be seated that was the first time I have been there and it will be the last. I suggest that they need to do some clean up with the kitchen staff busy or not it shouldn't take them that long for food and their was a lot of people walking out before they even got there food as well read more

Had lunch here today. Service and food was good for a reasonable price. My daughter and I split the crispy chicken strips with fries and mushroom side.Loved that they put it on two.separate plates and gave each of us 3 little cups of the sauce. Run to Chili's and get their Smash burger! We tried the 3 for Me option for $10.99, you get a small salad or chips & salsa, smash burger & fries and soft drink or tea. You can up charge to a margarita for $3.99. Literally this is the best deal in town! The burger is one of the beat burgers I've ever had! Honestly so delicious! It had cheese, chopped lettuce and onions and a sauce similar to Big Mac sauce but way better! The fries are well seasoned and amazing! If you've never been to Chili's you are missing out! I can't wait to go back for that burger! We sometimes order a few bags of their chips & salsa to take home. The service was great! Memories encouraged me to have chicken fajitas. Disappointment was sadly the result. The Chicken breast didn't envoke the former flavors. No seasoning was apparent. Unflavored rice and black beans in watery liquid, were a poor accompaniment. There are improvements, service, improved cleanliness is apparent, and a much more positive vibe. Very disappointed. We have been to this location many times for Happy Hour. This particular Monday all domestic tap beers were out (?). Only option was bottle. Instead of giving us the happy hour price, which we were told after the fact they wouldn't do, we were charged full price. Food was cold and service absent. Well, the restaurant is very busy, the hostess seemed to be the busser too. We have to wait at least 20 minutes t be seated, which is fine with me, but I noticed there's a lot of empty tables. It's not really the wait staffs fault that the restaurant was under staff, but the management who did not consider that Boone County is closed tomorrow and Monday for their fall break. So the restaurant was swamped like crazy, and the staff cannot keep up. Little things like drinks take forever to be delivered, we asked for extra plate, and waitress seemed to forget. My husband has to go t the kitchen to ask for it again. We ordered the full rack of ribs which was delicious, it comes with an order of fries and corn. I choose not to have the corn and substitute with house salad, I guess it's an upgrade because I have to pay extra for that. Also be careful with the kiosk because I was not even aware that I purchased a game. A game access is $1.99 for the time you're in the restaurant. I would rate the food 4/5, the service 4/5 since its not really their job to staff the restaurant. At around 6 o'clock we sat down to dinner. We ordered drinks, and the classic nachos to start. The waiter was nice, the place wasn't busy, and all the positives stop there. The classic nachos looked like precooked food, with a total of 12 chips...it was $11! I don't understand how they could be so bad. The nachos weren't even hot. We got our food after 35 minutes. Orders were correct, but again not hot. Our party wasn't happy at all. When the bill came it was at least $80 with tip...to walk away from that expensive of a meal hungry is awful! This was a sweet and delicious take on chicken and waffles. The serving size was so big that I just ate the chicken and fries and took the waffles home for breakfast for the next day. Two meals for the price of one - I can deal with that. The chicken was the honey chipotle style, while the waffles had a sugar crystal baked inside to maximize the sweetness. I think this location is pretty decent. The service was great. Our waiter was really nice, answered our questions, and was attentive to our needs (like getting refills quickly). The food tasted pretty good, but it just wasn't anything special. The chicken on my salad just tasted bland, but I liked the salad dressing! This is a popular restaurant chain that has a pretty diverse menu but leans towards BBQ type of things. We started off with one of their classic appetizers the Skillet Queso. It's a pretty basic queso that has plenty of beef and great cheese flavour. There is better queso dips out there but one is a decent one. They also serve chips and salsa with it and we're pretty middle of the road too. Like I said serviceable but unspectacular appetizer. As for my main course I got the Fiery Pepper Crispers. These were chicken strips coated with a spicy BBQ type sauce. These were some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. The sauce had such a mix of spice and sweet and just had spectacular flavour. They gave a ranch dip with it but that would just take away from the awesome flavour of the strips although I dipped my fries in it. Along with the fries they also served a seasoned ear of corn which I loved. All in all those the meal was above average but those crispers are worth going out of your way for. read more

I am overwhelmed with this restaurant. I drive a charter bus. We had around 40 people needed seating. We called ahead. And ask if They could handle us. Get us seated quickly so we could eat and get back to the hotel. The manager wasted no time to tell us to come on she will get it done. As soon as I pulled up the the leader went in to see how long it will be. She came back out started getting groups of people to go in because they were ready for us they had us seated in no time. We were waiting on q. And we had our food in a timely manner and it was delicious. I recommend calling ahead if you have a big group this place will take care of you. Awesome Food awesome service. Not sure why it only has 3 starts here, I think food tastes pretty good and really really cheap! I can never finish my meal, it's just huge. As my dad would say : "Chili's is the best restaurant out there, that, and Mc Donalds". I agree with the Chili's part, that's for sure. The food here is delicious, the service is fast, and the chips are amazingly good. My family and I try to get out here at least once a week, and it's not the closest restaurant either. I get the Cajun Chicken Pasta every time, and it is great, absolutely fantastic. I can testimony Chili's for anyone, families, clubs, get togethers, and parties even. I had my birthday here, and a delicious, (but scalding hot) chocolate cake is brought out topped with vanilla ice cream for free. All my other family members can recommend the potato soup, which I tried myself, and it was of course ; great. My only nit pick of this restaurant : I wish it was closer! read more

You know what you are getting into a Chilis. If my kid hadn't asked for it on her birthday, I think I would have found a way to avoid the place for several more months. Still, we were seated quickly. Our waiter Youssef was attentive. The children enjoyed their kids meals and even tried some different entries. And the coke fountain system didn't disappoint. I order chicken crispers, because if i want fajitas I go to the mexican place up the road. Chilis chicken crispers are awesome junk food when they are done right. But this night, maybe they didn't want to bother with the batter. My "crispers" were the most paltry chicken tenders you ever saw. Looked like they came straight from the kids meal my kids didn't order that night. The kids went with burgers. So should I have. We just needed a reliable place to grab lunch while traveling through the area so didn't want to venture far from the interstate. Luckily, this Chili's came up on Waze so we stopped in. I immediately noticed the "Welcome to Florence Y'all" sign which I've since learned is officially a Thing there. We had to wait a minute or so to be seated as nobody was manning the entrance when we walked in. This was likely due to the lunch rush. We got a booth in the bar area. I think the menu is still too large, but I always stick with my favorites and ordered the Big Mouth Bites and fries. They were good and filling, but I think they've changed since the last time I had them. Just not as good as I remember, but I can't put my finger on what's missing. (I think they had jalapenos on them before? Not sure.) Anyway, the highlight for me is really just the margaritas. They have a whole list of different margaritas. I opted for the spicy one with jalapenos, and my husband got the blueberry strawberry pineapple margarita. Mine was mixed well and not overly full of sour mix which is key for me. I always stick with the standard margarita rather than other flavors. I tried some of the husband's, and it was better than expected! Not too sweet, but it's definitely fruity which goes well with tequila pretty much all the time. They were out of one of the local draft beers, but it was nice to see that they had local options available. I like the option to pay at the table when we're done so we can get in and out and on with life. If they could incorporate Apple Pay into those, that would just make things even better. We dined at the Florence, KY location on Sunday October 2, 2022. The quality of all 3 meals was extremely disappointing! We hadn't been there since before the pandemic and were really excited to eat there. We eat at various Chilis in different areas and states. The food at this location was the worst food we have ever gotten! It was shocking because we have never had a bad meal at Chilis! The potato soup was runny. I would've loved to give this restaurant a better rating had I tried the food, but we left before we were even seated. My boyfriend and I walked into the restaurant around 12:30pm on a Thursday - peak lunch time. Most of the restaurant was full. There is no sign at the door that says "wait to be seated" or "seat yourself" so we waited. And waited. And waited. We stood by the door for 10 minutes and not a single employee had acknowledged us, despite having made eye contact with every employee we saw. Finally, after standing there for 15 minutes without anyone saying ANYTHING to us, my boyfriend went up to the server that had walked behind the bar to ask if we need to wait to be seated. She very rudely responded with "yes, but there are only like 3 servers here so, we'll get to you when we can." EXTREMELY rude! She could've at least acknowledged us one of the 3 times she had walked by us with a "we'll be right with you" or "we are short staffed so we'll seat you as soon as possible." ANYTHING other than ignoring us! Honestly, this was the first time in probably 3 years that I actually wanted to give Chili's a shot and eat there, since we never do.
