Typical Dive Bar lots of low class drunks and it's an easy pickup if you need some relief after a hard week !

The atmosphere is exactly what you'd want from a neighborhood taproom: casual, lively, and family-friendly. The bar is huge, with an impressive selection of draft beers (especially if you're an IPA fan), and they also have bourbon bottles available for purchase. We ordered burgers, and they were all really good. One bun seemed a little stale, but it didn't take away from the overall meal. The cheese curds were a standout: piping hot, crispy, and definitely worth ordering. The beef nachos, on the other hand, were a bit disappointing. They arrived cold and just didn't have the same wow factor as the rest of the food. My sweet potato fries were a little soggy, but I took the leftovers home and popped them in the air fryer the next day, and they turned out fantastic. Overall, I'd definitely go back. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great burgers, a huge beer selection, and a menu that has something for just about everyone in the family, dog and kid friendly, 859 Taproom is a solid choice.

You've got everything from burgers and loaded fries to sushi rolls, which sounds like an odd combo but somehow works perfectly. The vibe is casual and upbeat, with TVs around for games and a lively crowd most nights. It's the kind of place where you can go with kids, meet friends for drinks, or just grab a quick dinner without feeling rushed. Food-wise, the burgers are consistently good juicy, flavorful, and actually cooked right. The sushi is surprisingly fresh for a non-traditional sushi spot, I love the surf and turf roll, me and my husband get it everytime, and it's a fun option if you want to mix things up. The appetizers are definitely worth it too, especially if you're sharing.

We sat outside last night and there is litter all over the place. (See photos). We had to try 4 different tables to sit somewhere without trash and food on the ground at our feet. And the outside tables were sticky. Once we saw someone wiping down tables. Not often enough in my opinion. And food is not the best. Extremely salty and greasy. The Caesar salad was good but the patty melt lacked the flavor punch I expected. I only ate half of it. My husband said the same thing about his morning glory burger. Happy hour specials are decent but probably not good enough for us to come back for our regular Thursday happy hour meet up.

My mom has ate at Bourbon & Brew many times and recommended it, so we gave it a shot. This restaurant is centered in the middle of the gaming area. It features quite a bit of tables, bar seating, and limited booths. The booths are reserved for larger parties. They have a spot behind the bar for live music and have a huge TV above the bar for watching sporting events with many other smaller TVs around the whole area. They also have a scrolling board that will show upcoming game times/current scores. The ambiance is good for what it is. It was nice for us, but we were there before any live music and it wasn't super busy so we had a good experience without having to deal with a lot of background noise. Our service was very attentive and nice. The menu is pretty small. A lot of options that previous reviews spoke of are no longer on the menu. They pretty much offer limited appetizers, burgers, and some entrees. I would definitely check the menu before deciding to eat here to make sure there is enough interest across your group. Three of us ordered the Double Smash Burger and my girlfriend went with the caesar salad. The smash burger was good. Pretty much a basic burger, two patties and your typical fixings. It was a huge burger, so I cut mine in half. The burger came with fries as well. The meal with good just average. Nothing really special or over the top about it. I'd eat it again if I was hungry or wanting to watch a game, but not sure that I'd go out of my way to eat it again. My girlfriend said the caesar salad was good as well. The portion was huge, but it had a little too much dressing for her liking. Maybe something they should put on the side and let you put the amount you want. Overall I'd say this is a good option if you're planning on spending a lot of time gaming, betting on horse races, or watching a game at Turfway. If not, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again unless they offered more options on their menu, had rotating specials, or something that just gave it more appeal to come back. The food wasn't bad at all it just wasn't impressive.

Meatball Hoagie Soft Pretzel With Beer Cheese What Is It: The hoagie comes with meatballs, cheese, and lots of pizza sauce on Italian bread. They also include either plain or bbq potato chips (I got bbq). The pretzel comes with salt and a cup of beer cheese. Presentation: They served my hoagie open faced which improves the look of the dish but probably not your shirt. The pretzel looks like a pretzel. 6.5 out of 10 Taste: I'll start with the appetizer which was the soft pretzel. The pretzel was nice and soft and had lots of salt. The beer cheese had a very strong flavour which beer cheese should have. Perfect for this application. The hoagie as I mentioned was as messy as could be. They probably could have gone a little easier on the sauce but the sauce did have yood flavour. They certainly didn't skimp on the meatballs here either as they just bulge out of the sandwich. I do think the open faced serving of this sandwich helps it too. Just be ready to use the fork they give you with it. Definitely a tasty option.
