Big Crispy Chicken Sandwich
Alison M.

Hubby and I found ourselves back at our dear old Chili's once again. Well, you should have seen the look on our faces when they set down a sandwich absolutely brimming with chicken -- why, it was spilling out the sides! I tell you, it felt like such a generous little blessing. The food, as always, was just perfect. And our server? Such a darling -- so polite and lovely to chat with. We just love you, Chili's. Truly we do.

Stopped in for lunch after going to the movies. Ordered chips and salsa, 3 of the 3 for me crispy chicken sandwiches with fries, and I had an El Niño margarita. The food was great and hot except for the soups which came out closer to cold than to warm. You guys might want to check your soup warmer temp settings. Our server was very sweet and I'm sorry I didn't catch her name but she did a good job and the soup was a minimal issue. The restaurant was clean.

I honestly haven't eaten at Chili's in over eight years. My daughter wanted to try it, so we decided to have dinner there for the first time in a very long time. We were a party of four, and I expected a long wait because the restaurant looked pretty busy, but thankfully we were seated fairly quickly. Our server was friendly and amazing -- she took our order, and soon enough our food came out. Everything we had was really good except for the Spanish rice that came with the fajitas; it just wasn't that great. Everything else was delicious, with plenty of food for us to pack and take home. I also loved that all the staff seemed to help take care of every table, and everyone around us looked like they were enjoying their dinner. We will definitely be coming back again. The vibe and atmosphere was fun and a great place for a Friday night dinner!

Customer service: 4.3 Food: 2.8 (soup served warm, but should be hot) Drinks: 3.3 (because my wife loved her mustache straw) Overdue review: right before Christmas and after last minute shopping we decided to take a chance Chili's wasn't packed. We walked in and got seated right away. A quick glance at the menu and my wife wanted their promo drink because of the "mustache" straw and then both of us wanted something from their 3 for &10.99 meals: bacon cheeseburger with a bowl of soup (upcharged $1.00 for the bowl from a cup size) and my wife chose the chicken strips with a side salad. Plenty of food, but the serve was really good from our server Daphne. She was polite, attentive while keeping my glass full of soda and corrected our order when brought to her attention. A great evening out!

I have never been to a better Chilis. Coming from Fremont the Chilis there was always a chaotic dumpster fire so we stopped going. Then my sons wanted to try here and much to my major hesitation and protest I was pleasantly surprised. They open the door for you- smile seat you fast and serve you quicker than I have ever seen. Everyone in good spirits, plenty of re-fills and the food was great. Our fave margarita on point! Even the manager stops by to say HI. I was really amazed by the great customer service we get time and time again. Be it at the bar or restaurant seating. They won this family over once again.

My experience at Chili's on Laguna was amazing not only because I was with my amazing friends the zoo crew but because we were greeted by two beautiful young women Lauren and Timmer. They both had great public relations very professional. They both had a great sense of humor had his laughing as we settled into order. They had our table set with water chips and salsa and gave us time to figure out what we were going to order so many great choices. As we all ordered and received our order my plate was amazing the flavors were accent as the chicken was so tender and the grilled asparagus wow and I'm speaking for the zoo crew they enjoyed their plate as well!! So if you're trying to find a great place to go with friends family or alone go to Chili's at any location near you!!

There was no wait time to be seated. It The music brightens the atmosphere. Our server was Rene that provided excellent customer service also, oh so courteous. Jada is an outstanding hostess. The entire staff was accommodating. We ordered the Big Smasher Burger with French Fries and a second Big Smasher Burger with a side order Black Beans. The burgers were mouthwatering delicious and heat hot, just the way we like it. We definitely will back.

Wait time decent for a party of six but we got a really small congested table in the back corner right under a tv that on the screen had ALOT of dust and spiderwebs so the dust kept falling on to the table on the food and drinks. The picture doesnt do it justice, looks worse in person. The food mainly fried chicken we had different version i.e big crispy, tenders etc were so salty and covered in oil we couldnt eat it

The food is better than fast food for the price you pay it's fresh and it also comes with either salad or soup and drink. The service is always pleasant. The place is the average local hangout neighborhood place.

Triple Dipper Southwestern Eggrolls Nashville Hot Mozzarella Nashville Hot Chicken Crispers Combo

It was a little busy, but the staff managed to fit all 16 of my group in such a rush. They were quick to check in on us for orders and the food came out at a reasonable amount of time. I noticed that unlike other restaurants, the music was at a reasonable volume level to cater for conversation. They had clean restroom stalls. Everybody came to order a triple dipper and I ordered the Nashville hot crispers and mozzarella as well as the southwestern rolls. It definitely hit the spot. It had a nice savory spice that blended well when dipped into ranch.

I am over half a century old and I've never eaten at Chili's. I don't know why, but it just hasn't happened. Anyway, I took my aunt out on the weekend. She is visiting from out of state and loves casinos so I also took her to Sky River casino. That's a whole other review. We opted not to eat at the casino and I wanted to take her to lunch and she wanted a burger. We tried Red Robin first across the street but they were packed and had a 30 minute wait. I was skeptical about Chili's but we did end up here. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday afternoon, a good sign. It smelled like food cooking, another good sign. We got into a tight squeeze booth for two but we're pleased to get greeted and seated quickly. We got drinks (Diet Coke for me, Margarita ($7) for aunt). Our waitress was super helpful and pointed out a three item deal my aunt could get with her burger ($11). We got our thin and crispy chips and spicy salsa quickly. They were one of the appetizer options with the burger. Lunch came some time later but it was worth the wait. I enjoyed my fajitas ($19) , and the steak especially had a nice lime/tequila type marinade. I would definitely order again. The peppers and onions came sizzling along with the meat, warm tortillas, fixings, and a bowl of delicious black beans. My aunt was less enthused about her burger but it looked tasty. I think she wanted my fajitas so I shared. She also Said her margaritas was too sweet. Our waitress was incredibly helpful. You can pay at the table with an electronic screen, which was interesting. I liked the large windows in the restaurant and view of outdoors. I would definitely come back for a meal here. Ample parking, reasonable prices,?good service.

triple dipper - fried mozzarella, honey-chipotle mozzarella, nashville hot mozzarella
Nancy L.

Been seeing too many videos online with the fried mozzarella cheese pulls so had to come try it out for myself. We arrived on a weekday evening and the place was busy but we were seated immediately. We ordered their triple dipper since we wanted to try all three of their fried mozzarellas. We selected the regular fried mozzarella, honey-chipotle mozzarella, and nashville hot mozzarella. The dish came with 2 sides of ranch and 1 side of marinara. We loved the honey-chipotle as it was sweet yet savory! Our least favorite was the nashville hot since we didn't enjoy the flavor of the spice much. The cheese pulls are insane and exactly as shown on social media!! Would definitely come back for more!

Chili's offers a solid deal on the weekends with their all-day $6 happy hour margarita, which was impressively large. My friends and I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 2 PM. Although there is lots of parking surrounding the building mind you there are several other businesses in the same lot so it could be hard to find a parking spot on the weekend. It was not empty and fairly slightly busy at the time we came but not excessively loud, we didn't have to wait for a table and got sat down immediately. There are several booths and tables, tv's throughout, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The Three for $10+ special also provides good value, though certain drink and appetizer choices come with an upcharge. My friend opted for the burger, chips & salsa, and a margarita (with a $3 upcharge for the drink). The chips and salsa portion was generous, easily shareable with 3-5 people, and the burger was delicious. However, he later experienced an upset stomach, though it's unclear if the meal was the cause though, that was all he had eaten and threw up the entire burger later on the day. I tried the 6-piece Nashville mozzarella sticks, which were a perfect size and pleasantly flavorful--even for someone who doesn't typically enjoy Nashville seasoning. For my meal, I had the chicken crispers with fries, mac & cheese, and three dipping sauces. The mac & cheese was surprisingly good, tasting similar to Panera's white cheddar version. The fries were decent, but the chicken crispers were a letdown--tough and chewy. I didn't finish them and wouldn't order them again. Overall, the drinks, mozzarella sticks, and chips & salsa were the highlights, while the chicken crispers were disappointing. I'd return mainly for the drinks and appetizers, but I'd be cautious about what entrée to order next time. Rating: 3.5/5 - Decent value, great drinks, and good appetizers, but the meal quality was hit or miss.

My husband & I live in the Monterey area, but our elderly moms live in Galt & Pioneer. So, with busy lives we decided to try & give them a Mother's Day they'd really like. I was searching up restaurants that were doing Mother's Day events in their area. I didn't want to do a buffet or be in a place that was going to be so packed no one could hear each other. Tough challenge. But I found the Mother's Day brunch event at the Brick House, so decided to make reservations. I personally liked that you had to leave a deposit to hold the reservation. That tells me they're serious about making sure it was not overcrowded. The menu was limited due to it being a special event, but the items to choose from seemed interesting. Plus the bottomless mimosas & bloody Mary's was a big bonus. Our reservation was at 10:15AM. I'll start off with the review by mentioning my dad. He is a grumpy old guy who doesn't get out much. I've had to "warn" wait staff to ignore him; that he's a grump & won't be paying the bill, we will, so to not let any comments phase them, & we will try to keep him in line. Luckily he doesn't know what yelp is! When we were reviewing the menu the night before, he made the comments, "weird menu, it will be crowded, bottomless drinks? That means they will come by one time with tiny glasses." So we arrive a little early but are immediately seated in a very quiet area with only a couple of other tables occupied. The Grumpy old man: "see. They stuck us where we won't get any service." As soon as we sat down our waitress came over & immediately wished us all a happy mother's Day & could she get us a Bloody Mary or mimosa & that they were bottomless. And that she'd also be bringing our pastry board. We ordered our drinks & my dad made the comments, loud enough for the waitress to hear, "ok girls. Your one small mimosa will be coming out along with cold donuts. you'll never be offered another one, so enjoy." Within a few minutes us moms got our mimosas. In large wine glasses, filled to the top. Grumpy old man got a Bloody Mary. Nice selection of Pastries were hot out of the oven. He Made the comment, "great, a weak drink." (He hadn't taken a sip yet.") We told the waitress we would need a few minutes to look at the menu, she said fine. No rush. She came back & saw my mom & dad were nearly done with their drinks. Offered another while she took our order. My dad replied: "no. I'm driving." Translation: it's a strong drink. We went to order & my dad ordered the eggs Benedict with pork belly. also muttering it sounded weird, and it would be a shame to throw out such expensive food. He ate every bite & told the waitress it was "ok." (He rarely eats all his food.) Translation: it was probably one of the best he's had. I had the vegetable quiche & it was very good. The mimosas kept being offered & were flowing for the moms well after our food was finished which for it being a special, reservation only event was a pleasant surprise. We finely told the waitress at round 4 us girls were done. The restaurant remained quiet & when we left, it was busy, but not overly so. The manager, Chris, was greeting people & wishing the moms a happy Mother's Day. We were there for a couple of hours & never felt rushed to leave. When the bill came & my husband went to pay it, my dad told him to make sure the tip wasn't included before not leaving one. The waitress had to put up with us girls Constantly getting mimosas without asking for them. Translation: he felt like he had a nice time, the waitress made sure us moms had a nice time & wanted to make sure she got a tip. Us girls decided that we wanted to come back for regular happy hour/dinner next time we visited. My dad grumbled that he'd have to come too so we'd have a ride back. Translation: he wants to come back. Lol It was pricey, but worth every penny for the wonderful Mother's Day we were able to give our older moms. I'd definitely do it again next year if they have it. Thank you!

We had checked online and even called and were told no tables, but figured maybe we could grab a spot at the bar. When we walked in, I thought, " What's the harm in asking"...and somehow a table for two had just opened up. One of those meant-to-be moments. I started with a martini, which was great, and I ordered the macadamia crusted halibut special with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The fish itself was really good. The potatoes needed a little help, though. I definitely wish I had asked for extra sauce and a little salt and pepper, but I did appreciate that they tasted homemade with those bigger chunks. We also got the French onion soup to start, and that was so good. It had little tips of filet in it, and honestly, that might have been my favorite part of the whole meal. My husband ordered the stuffed chicken, and this is where things kind of went sideways. The chicken was really dry, and then halfway through, he bit down on what looked like a cherry pit. Definitely not something you expect, and kind of a mood killer. We called the waiter over, and they were very apologetic, and the service the entire night really was great. But between the dry chicken and that surprise, we were kind of done at that point. We were planning on dessert, but just didn't even feel like it anymore. That said, we've been here before and have had really great meals, which is why I wouldn't write it off. The service was great, everything was clean, and it still has that nice, classic feel. Also, a side note, I used the restroom before we left, and I have to say, as a mom, seeing an actual changing station with drawers and supplies made me so happy. I remember those flimsy fold down tables and being nervous using them, so this felt like such a thoughtful touch. They even had a bidet, which I tried to check out, but it wasn't working. Helpful tip: Get the French onion soup, and if your dish comes with a sauce...ask for extra. Not a perfect night, but enough good here that we'd come back again.

The crunch of the chicken was amazing and overall it was cooked perfectly. The pepper on top was a great little spicy snack in between bites. The drinks were awesome.
