My family has been coming here for many, many years. They no longer have the waiting room with the peanuts at the entrance, but they provide you with a couple bags of peanuts at your table. The previous waiting room area is now a place where the workers provide to go orders. Service was friendly. Seating is close quarters and it always is loud inside. I always enjoy complementary rolls. I had the sirloin with ribs (with sides of a baked potato and house salad) and the cactus blossom as an appetizer. Well not the best meat, it's decent/reliable. They're always very busy and the lots pretty full even during typically non-peak eating hours.
Came here for an early dinner Monday. Ordered my usual country fried chicken with mash & Caesar salad. Also added a sidekick of catfish. I still love the warm buns & cinnamon butter. I always eat way to much bread & end up taking my entree Togo. Staff were friendly. It wasn't too busy & was seated quickly. I love their early dine in specials Mon-Thurs until 5PM & Friday until 3pm.
If you have not tried Texas Roadhouse, it's worth going at least once. We usually book a reservation as the place is always packed! When you walk in, you are greeted by the host and requested to wait by the wall across from the meat display while your table is prepared. You are welcome to pick out a steak but this is optional. You are seated with bread served with cinnamon sugar butter. During our most recent visit our bread did not seem the most fresh, but you can always request a fresh batch as it's unlimited for free! My husband picked out a ribeye steak and I went with the all-american cheeseburger. Husband enjoyed his medium rare steak and caesar salad side. My burger was cooked perfectly medium rare and was so good. However, I did not enjoy the pickle it came with. It was mushy and not crisp. Our server, Amanda, was wonderful. She was super sweet and checked on us often. Her service was really exceptional. There is a designated parking lot by the restaurant but it can get filled quickly during peak hours.
I had called in to make a reservation since it wouldn't allow me online due to the amount of people. They asked me to come at 8pm. We got there about 730, only to find out my name was not on the list. The manager was very understanding and placed us on the list. We were sat down promptly. Our server, Smiley, was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the ribs and steak. It came with two sides and I had the seasoned corn, which was amazing, and the House salad, which was also really good. It is a great amount of food so come hungry. I had to take some to go. Our server warned us about the addictive bread. The bread and butter is the best. It was so warm, soft and fresh! What stood out to me was how busy it was but yet all the workers acknowledged and appreciated our business as we walked through. That gives them a 10 out of 10 from me In Service I loved how they all work together to make it right for their customers.
Vibes were really high for a Saturday night! Music blasting old country on the speakers throughout the restaurant. Caricatures of famous pop icons. Neon lights from classic American companies. As my party of 10 walked thru the restaurant to our table everyone we passed by was enjoying their meals with big smiles, a beautiful sight to see. Our server Melissa rocked. She didn't let the large party knock her off her game. All of our food came to the table just as we ordered it. And she brought me beers before I could ask for another. My fiancee went with the catfish, her cousin the prime rib, the other cousin the ribs and steak combo and I did the New York strip, All our food passed the eye test and as far as taste goes we all were more than satisfied and left full of good food. Not to mention plenty of leftovers. Love the fresh steaks sitting behind the glass as you walk in. The option to pick the steak you will eventually be eating is a really great option too. Overall Texas Roadhouse was a big hit. Can't believe I hadn't been before. There's so many options but I absolutely loved my steak and can't imagine I'd venture from there!
I've been coming to this Texas Roadhouse with my family for two decades now. Whether it's a busy night, a holiday, or just a dinner out, the food always tastes amazing and the service is top-notch. Today we sat at a booth close to the bar as requested to watch the World Cup match. Our server Tyrone was super friendly and exceptional all around. He made us welcome and comfortable, ensuring we got refills, our full orders, and even a family pic! Thank you Tyrone and the rest of today's staff for making the start of our 4th of July a satisfying one!
One of my go-to places for steak since moving here! I've been here more than five times, and the experience has been consistently good every time. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and comfortable--great for enjoying a good steak without the formality of a traditional steakhouse. They also do a great job cooking the steak medium rare, which is how I like mine. The service has always been friendly and attentive as well. For the price, I think it's one of the best places around for a satisfying steak meal. Perfect for people who enjoy a more relaxed dining experience and prefer a meal with plenty of protein and vegetables. I'm personally not a big carb person, so this place works really well for me. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good steak in a casual and comfortable setting!
The service and interactions were excellent. We ordered potato skins at the walk up window. Texas Roadhouse really upped their game during the COVID quarantines and have continued to provide an excellent takeout experience. Unfortunately, the potato skins were a disappointment. The potatoes tasted stale and overcooked. The dish was more a "loaded" potato wedges than potato skins. I expected medium potato halves with the majority of the potato scooped out and the resulting "potato boat" crisped in the oven or deep fryer before the cheese, bacon, and chives are loaded on and briefly broiled to melt the cheese. There were no chives or scallions leaving the dish bland and unfinished. I generally enjoy meals at Texas Roadhouse, although they don't seem to handle potatoes well.
Service was just okay... our server just seemed kinda short or too busy for us. It was also sooo loud we were yelling to have a conversation. I got a a ribeye and it was just okay... normally the steaks are amazing... this must have been on off night. my sides were also cold... we waited a while for our food because we learned our server went on break or lunch as we were approached by another server who said he would now be taking care of us.
I was VERY surprised to see that it was super busy at lunch time on a Sunday. I had to take a couple of laps around the huge parking lot, but I finally found a spot. There was a line inside for tables, but since I was by myself, I sat at the bar. The bar was pretty full, but there were a few open spots in between couples. The bartender (I think her name was Amore?) was nice and got my drink and food orders in quickly. The wait time was not bad. I was very satisfied with the look and taste of the food. There were plenty of TVs to watch sports (they had golf, basketball, and baseball on). All the staff whom I interacted with were very friendly. My only true complaint is how busy it was and how hard it was to find parking.

That said, parking at this location can be a hassle and you may find a spot at the neighboring businesses. These spots are big inside with plenty of dining tables and a bar. For this visit, I just placed an online order for pickup. Since it's not dine-in, missed out on the peanuts and making a mess on the floor LMAO Ordered the 12 ounce ribeye medium rare and grilled shrimp combo totaled at $40. Opted for baked sweet potato (my preference always) and sautéed mushrooms. And of course their fresh baked bread, actually requested for extra bread always hahaha wth their tasty honey cinnamon buttery spread. All the items were delish! The ribeye cooked medium rare as requested was super tender with the sautéed mushroom. The sweet potato was, well, sweet and yummy!! Lol And the shrimp topped it off! The staff are all pretty cool and friendly. They are always accommodating with the extra bread and butter requests. Will be back again sometime.

The wait is usually about 20 minutes. I rarely order steak when I go here, but when I do, it's good. I always get a side salad as well, since I am trying to have a healthy balanced meal. The sides are always great. Customer service is hit or miss. Sometimes our server is great and other times we rarely see them. This will still be in the rotation every few months for dinner.
For a chain, this place isn't bad. It's a casual steakhouse after all, but fun for the kids and mostly it's for the peanuts, right? We celebrated one of our kids' birthday here and service was friendly and attentive. They were helpful when we need more utensils and also kid-friendly in general I noticed. It's definitely not a quiet dining kind of place so you don't have to worry about kids making too much noise, there's already a lot of liveliness here. The food is only ok, they burnt one of our steaks, but the other entrees were ok. Portions are big and can easily share family style to try each other's items. The kids who don't have to worry about carb intake went pretty wild with the bread rolls as they are so generous with refilling them. The kids smothered the rolls with the honey cinnamon butter like there's no tomorrow. Oh to be young again and so care free. On this occasion we didn't come during happy hour, but they have that too, so there's early bird deals if you come before 5p. Everything came out quite efficiently, not the most excellent entrees like I said, but pretty solid still. I would definitely make a reservation if you're not coming between meal times as it gets pretty busy here. The lot could get quite full during popular times, but we found a spot ok quick this time. Next time, maybe we'll try coming during Happy Hour and see if the food's better when it's a bit slower, maybe they lost track of our 1 entree and that's why the steak was overcooked even by my standard and I'm more a medium-well kind of guy. All in all, a solid place, we'll definitely come back, the wife says it's a fun place and there's some gift cards that's discounted we can get and the kids enjoy the atmosphere. Till next time!
Food was alright but service was better! Our server Mayra went above and beyond to make my grandma feel special on her birthday. It gets a little noisy here and the lights are dim. During busy times, make sure you join the waitlist through their website. read more

My go to place for prime rib! This place seems to be popular no matter the time or day of the week. Lately, I've been ordering takeout since it's been easier than waiting for a table. Sometimes the wait for a table is long. The restaurant is loud so it's not a very intimate experience. Country music is played all day but I don't mind since I love country music. Pros: the way they make their prime rib here is chef's kiss. I've tried several places and Texas Roadhouse seems to get the deep brown, salty crust right and its tenderness. I usually order rare or medium rare. Don't get me started on the rolls with the cinnamon spread, one of my favorites as well. Their online ordering is easy and pick up is seamless. You receive a text notifying the status of your order. Cons: the rare/medium rare prime rib sells out fast so you need to get there/order early. Lately, it also seems they've been cutting back the amount of rolls they give you as well. Parking is also hard to find, I've seen cars make their own parking spots. read more
The service here was great! Quick and organized seating, servers got our waters and took our orders fast, and food came out just as fast. Their food is worth the price! I got the texas sized combos with the 6oz sirlion & shrimp. It came with 2 reasonably portioned sized sides, and the shrimp actually came with toasted buttered bread. We also got the cactus blossom onion and it's always so flavorful. My bf got the steak and ribs and the ribs were gigantic! I will say, we did ask for our steaks medium, and it was cooked a little too well. We definitely had a lot of leftovers for the next day. read more

Amazing experience! Rib eye medium rare was on point! Good appetizers and excellent value. Service was friendly and floor manager was knowledge. Cooked to perfection and fast service. I have to say, this beats our house of prime rib by a mile. Two people for under $100 with 2 beers. House of prime rib in San Francisco would be $350 and mediocre prime rib these days read more
We arrived at the right time, only had to wait 5 mins or less. The ambience is always welcoming especially when you see the Steaks sitting in the glass show case. Our server Joanna was excellent with personality plus. She should train new servers because she has the gift with suggestive selling. We ordered the 4 piece Catfish both with salad and one with baked sweet potato and the other order with corn which was served heat hot oh so good. By the way I did something different with my fish I used the salad dressing Honey Lime as a dip and oh my goodness oh so good. Wow! you have to try it. We will be back. read more
I have to say the customer service at every Texas roadhouse has been very consistent. There has been very little negative anything about Texas roadhouse. This place was insanely popular on a Friday night. Was my first time so didn't expect the hype! Get on the waitlist on their website. The food was okay. Ribs are a popular item and I was craving so I ordered but it was dry and immediately broke apart when I cut into the slab. Not in a tender, fall-off-the-bone way either. I wouldn't order again or recommend. For sides we had the chili, baked potato, mashed potato, and Cesar salad. Chili was so good!! It had soft little meat chunks and the right amount of seasoning, not too salty. Lettuce in the salad was nice and crispy. Pass on the mashed potatoes with brown sauce; it was too salty. read more
Friday, 1/23/2026 - We love Texas Roadhouse. Came here for my birthday tonight. As usual, a lot of people! But we put ourselves on the wait-list. So when we arrived, we only waited 10 to 15 minutes-ish and got seated. I got a free appetizer via email from them. So I got the Shrimp dish. It comes in 6 shrimp, sliced bread, and butter. The shrimp was already buttery, flavorful and good, so I didn't need to dip it into the butter. My little one and my SO dip their shrimp and said it was even better. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. Our smother ribeye was delicious. The brownie w/ ice cream was good. I was surprised to get a free ice cream for my birthday. I totally forgot about the free bday ice cream. Lol. Then we would not have bought the brownie w/ ice cream. Some of the cons we experience this visit? 1) waitress didn't bring my SO's refill soda. 2) the first 2 basket of bread was cooked. It was doughy. After we asked for a more cooked one, waitress brought us another basket. 3) The Andy Steak was over cooked. We asked for medium rare, but it was medium. We got another one made prefect. We always love this restaurant. Even if they messed up, they always try to fix it. Customer service is great. Food is great. Bread and butter us great. read more
came on a busy friday night, waitlist was about 50 minutes. once seated, our waiter was very attentive and kind, as well as all the other staff. we got custom cut steaks, and a 12 oz bone in rib eye with grilled shrimp, a cup of chili, and mashed potatoes. the texas platter is definitely a generous portion for the price! we got the $5 all day, everyday frozen & iced margaritas, which were good as well. not pictured were the fried pickles which were so good! read more
Haven't been here in years. Stopped in for early bird dine-in. Elijah took care of us. After telling my son to just eat one roll, I managed to take down 3 rolls before our meals arrived. Oh, well! The sirloin was good. Chili and mashed potatoes were very tasty. Elijah was very helpful and checked on us often. Good food. Staff were very friendly, greeted upon arrival and as we were leaving. Texas Roadhouse has always been a no frills place with good steaks. The prices are still decent given the way things are these says. I got the ribs and 12 oz ribeye. Cooked perfectly medium, the steak was full of meaty flavor. The ribs were good. I like that the bones were not big. Sampler was good with potato skins, boneless wings, and rattle snake bites. Paired with a ton of ranch, you can't go wrong. It was Friday lunchtime, so wait wasn't too long. read more
I initially came here for the bread and blooming onion. We came at 11am on a Friday, it wasn't too busy. It was super clean and service was quick. The food came out fast too. The bread is delicious as ever. The onion this time wasn't oily so that was a plus. My husband ordered the sampler (mozzarella sticks, rattle snake bites and buffalo chicken). The rattle snake bites are balls of cheddar cheese deep fried with some jalapeno. The catfish was perfectly seasoned and fried. We'll always come back because their bread is delicious. read more
Wait was about 20 minutes u til sat at table. Food was ok asked for medium steak and there was no pink in my steak a little over cooked. Salad was good potatoes were the best part of dinner. Service was ok, our server seemed like she had a lot of tables she was awesome just overworked ! Lots of parking and ADA accessible. They didn't come by for refills had to ask and also had to ask for boxes .... Didn't see server after food was dropped. read more
My experience with this location was not too good. My husband and I wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse with our in laws to celebrate us finding our new home. I had went on the app and added us to the waitlist. I sent the "here" text at 7:56 and was at the front desk at 8pm. We sat at 8:04pm. We were sat at a table that was wobbly. The lady who sat us immediately walked away. No words were said nor any menus were provided. She tapped her hand on the table and walked away. We sat for 5 minutes and no one came. We decided to move our seats one back and my mother in law let someone know. They said someone would be right with us. 10 minutes go by and no one came to us. I was able to stop a server named Trinity down letting her know we had not been helped. She let me know we're sitting in a closed section and that, that is why no one came to help us. In my opinion, if that is the case, someone, including Trinity, should have came to our table and let us know the section was closed. We had a reason to move, and informed a worker as well. Trinity became our server and was rude in the beginning. She placed blame on us for sitting in a closed section but when we were sitting at our assigned table, no one came to greet us. My mother in law continued apologizing. We ever had a manager come to our table (Trinity insisted) and place blame on us as well. We eventually were able to order our appetizers and our food. My plate did come out cold. I assume I had to wait for the others food to be done which caused my plate to get cold. Trinity's attitude shifted and she became a better server. She was on top of things from providing more bread to getting us to go containers and bags for our food. She came to check on us what seemed every 10 minutes or so. Had we started on better terms, I'd say Trinity is an excellent server. Of course, we did tip her. This experience however did change the mood for us celebrating. read more

Let's start with "Bree" - pls forgive me if I butchered the spelling - was our server and was delightful. Such personality, you can tell she enjoys her job and can handle the busyness that takes place here. Lol Came for my father in laws bday for he was craving for their bread and butter. His day - he gets whatever he likes!! Ohh and yah, we complimented that bread with Prime Rib. Presentation on their dishes is far from pretty but the taste made up for it. We ordered 5 dishes, 2 appetizers & 3 beers. No complaints! This place is BUSY even on a Thursday night. The wait was 30 minutes and yah..we waited about 20ish minutes. Parking lot was crazy too but the parking angel was watching over us cuz we found Parking right away. YAY. They give ur peanuts in a bag now vs "help yourself" - I was cool with that lol Beer was served in a very chilled glass which was a nice touch. Will be back! It's been about 3 years since I was at Texas Roadhouse and I remember it to be really chaotic waiting in line. This time though, we waitlisted online and waited until it was closer to our time to arrive at the location. That made the process a lot smoother and less waiting for a table. The only issue is parking is terrible so arrive early and wait for parking spots to open. On to the dining experience. We had a party of 5 and we were seated pretty fast. When we sat down our waitress came by and was super nice. She provided excellent service and delivered our food timely. Even though there was a shift change in the middle of dinner, the new waiter was just as good. The noise in the restaurant was ok. Sometimes loud with all the birthday celebrations, but we were all able to hold a good conversation without yelling. The food and drinks were excellent. My prime rib was seasoned well, came out medium rare and thick! I was very pleased with it. The mash was good and the hazy ipa I got was excellent. We were there for a good 2 hours and never felt pressured to leave. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. read more

First, I've been to other locations and never had an issue. We got our bread and plates and the plates were not washed at all. Food stuck on them. Simple, we asked for new plates Server got rude after that. Next, drinks came. I've attached photos of the mashed potatoes stuck to the side of my water glass and another photo of what was floating in my grandchild's water. At that point, we didn't feel comfortable eating there so we spoke to a manager about the lack of cleanliness at this location and will contact the health department. Don't go there or if you do, be careful. I'm easy but this was bad. I didn't ask for anything, nor did I want anything, I just let the manager know about the disgusting dishes and left before ordering. read more

Stopped in for an early dinner after shopping in Elk Grove. As expected with this chain restaurant, it was pretty busy, but they have a large parking lot and both indoor and outdoor seating for those waiting. Even with the crowd, we were seated quickly. Our food came out fast and hot. We ordered the early bird dinner special ($14.99), which includes a selection of entrées from their menu. My dinner partner and I both got the sirloin steak cooked medium with green beans and a baked potato--everything was cooked well and tasted great. And of course, the hot bread with cinnamon butter is always a favorite! Overall, a quick, satisfying dinner and exactly what we expect from this spot. We'll definitely be back. read more

What can I say--our waitress was very kind and friendly, but unfortunately quite forgetful. I won't mention any names out of respect. We started with just water while we looked over the menu. The water was served quickly, which was appreciated given the 100-degree weather. However, when I took a sip from my glass, the water tasted extremely unpleasant--almost like stagnant or dirty water. I looked at the glass and noticed it appeared dirty as well. I asked my wife if her water tasted strange, and she said no. I tried hers and it tasted completely fine, so I'm not sure what happened with my glass, but it was definitely not acceptable. As for the food experience, we ordered an appetizer that never arrived. About 30 minutes after placing that order, the waitress came back to take our main course order. I inquired about the appetizer, and she mentioned the kitchen may have forgotten it, but said her manager would offer us a discount. The appetizer eventually arrived--just five minutes before the main course--but unfortunately, a few items from our main order were still missing. While the food itself was delicious, the overall dining experience was affected by the multiple oversights. I hope the staff receives the support they need to improve consistency and service. read more
