I was VERY surprised to see that it was super busy at lunch time on a Sunday. I had to take a couple of laps around the huge parking lot, but I finally found a spot. There was a line inside for tables, but since I was by myself, I sat at the bar. The bar was pretty full, but there were a few open spots in between couples. The bartender (I think her name was Amore?) was nice and got my drink and food orders in quickly. The wait time was not bad. I was very satisfied with the look and taste of the food. There were plenty of TVs to watch sports (they had golf, basketball, and baseball on). All the staff whom I interacted with were very friendly. I've been to this Texas Roadhouse location several times before for both dine-in and to-go. Also been to their other locations in Tracy and Union City. Whichever location, it is packed majority of the time with a waitlist for dine-in so it is best to make a reservation. That said, parking at this location can be a hassle and you may find a spot at the neighboring businesses. These spots are big inside with plenty of dining tables and a bar. For this visit, I just placed an online order for pickup. Since it's not dine-in, missed out on the peanuts and making a mess on the floor LMAO Ordered the 12 ounce ribeye medium rare and grilled shrimp combo totaled at $40. Opted for baked sweet potato (my preference always) and sautéed mushrooms. And of course their fresh baked bread, actually requested for extra bread always hahaha wth their tasty honey cinnamon buttery spread. All the items were delish! The ribeye cooked medium rare as requested was super tender with the sautéed mushroom. The sweet potato was, well, sweet and yummy!! Lol And the shrimp topped it off! I, like many people, probably been to a Texas roadhouse for many years but have never critiqued it online (you know, the general public didn't do stuff like that, and ai don't think Yelp! existed back then) My mom use to love going here, in fact, that's the first time I went was with her. And we loved it! My mom loved this place! First thing that stood out here, it is incredibly busy! That's great for the restaurant, but not good for patrons? Because of the wait? Actually, it's good for the patron because that means the majority consensus from the general public means they like it, thus, are going here to patronize it! Fortunately, in our case, we had Doug! Smart enough to call ahead and try to reserve a spot for 7 kids and 4 adults! I got there first, and mentioned that we had called ahead and his response..."Glad you did, because we can seat you right away, otherwise if you didn't call ahead, there are 130 people behind you." Incredible! That's a lot of people and that's a lot of damn steaks! Rest of the party showed up and we were sat immediately! Right on! Good stuff! Next best thing: the Server. Holy cow! My go to place for prime rib! This place seems to be popular no matter the time or day of the week. Lately, I've been ordering takeout since it's been easier than waiting for a table. Sometimes the wait for a table is long. The restaurant is loud so it's not a very intimate experience. Country music is played all day but I don't mind since I love country music. Pros: the way they make their prime rib here is chef's kiss. I've tried several places and Texas Roadhouse seems to get the deep brown, salty crust right and its tenderness. I usually order rare or medium rare. Don't get me started on the rolls with the cinnamon spread, one of my favorites as well. Their online ordering is easy and pick up is seamless. You receive a text notifying the status of your order. Cons: the rare/medium rare prime rib sells out fast so you need to get there/order early. The service here was great! Quick and organized seating, servers got our waters and took our orders fast, and food came out just as fast. Their food is worth the price! I got the texas sized combos with the 6oz sirlion & shrimp. It came with 2 reasonably portioned sized sides, and the shrimp actually came with toasted buttered bread. We also got the cactus blossom onion and it's always so flavorful. My bf got the steak and ribs and the ribs were gigantic! I have gone to Texas Roadhouse many times over the years and am now finally reviewing it. Texas Roadhouse has mostly been good when I go. The food is solid/decent. Not the best, and I rarely crave it, but it does fill me up and does the job. The rolls and butter are legendary and is always a favorite. This location is the only one in the south sac area, so it's pretty crowded almost every night. There's plenty of seating, but you can still expect to wait on a weeknight. The wait is usually about 20 minutes. I rarely order steak when I go here, but when I do, it's good. I always get a side salad as well, since I am trying to have a healthy balanced meal. The sides are always great. Customer service is hit or miss. Sometimes our server is great and other times we rarely see them. For a chain, this place isn't bad. It's a casual steakhouse after all, but fun for the kids and mostly it's for the peanuts, right? We celebrated one of our kids' birthday here and service was friendly and attentive. They were helpful when we need more utensils and also kid-friendly in general I noticed. It's definitely not a quiet dining kind of place so you don't have to worry about kids making too much noise, there's already a lot of liveliness here. The food is only ok, they burnt one of our steaks, but the other entrees were ok. Portions are big and can easily share family style to try each other's items. The kids who don't have to worry about carb intake went pretty wild with the bread rolls as they are so generous with refilling them. The kids smothered the rolls with the honey cinnamon butter like there's no tomorrow. Oh to be young again and so care free. On this occasion we didn't come during happy hour, but they have that too, so there's early bird deals if you come before 5p. Everything came out quite efficiently, not the most excellent entrees like I said, but pretty solid still. I would definitely make a reservation if you're not coming between meal times as it gets pretty busy here. The lot could get quite full during popular times, but we found a spot ok quick this time. Next time, maybe we'll try coming during Happy Hour and see if the food's better when it's a bit slower, maybe they lost track of our 1 entree and that's why the steak was overcooked even by my standard and I'm more a medium-well kind of guy. All in all, a solid place, we'll definitely come back, the wife says it's a fun place and there's some gift cards that's discounted we can get and the kids enjoy the atmosphere. Texas Roadhouse has always been a no frills place with good steaks. The prices are still decent given the way things are these says. I got the ribs and 12 oz ribeye. Cooked perfectly medium, the steak was full of meaty flavor. The ribs were good. I like that the bones were not big. Sampler was good with potato skins, boneless wings, and rattle snake bites. I initially came here for the bread and blooming onion. We came at 11am on a Friday, it wasn't too busy. It was super clean and service was quick. The food came out fast too. The bread is delicious as ever. The onion this time wasn't oily so that was a plus. My husband ordered the sampler (mozzarella sticks, rattle snake bites and buffalo chicken). We arrived at the right time, only had to wait 5 mins or less. The ambience is always welcoming especially when you see the Steaks sitting in the glass show case. Our server Joanna was excellent with personality plus. She should train new servers because she has the gift with suggestive selling. Friday, 1/23/2026 - We love Texas Roadhouse. Came here for my birthday tonight. As usual, a lot of people! But we put ourselves on the wait-list. So when we arrived, we only waited 10 to 15 minutes-ish and got seated. I got a free appetizer via email from them. So I got the Shrimp dish. It comes in 6 shrimp, sliced bread, and butter. The shrimp was already buttery, flavorful and good, so I didn't need to dip it into the butter. My little one and my SO dip their shrimp and said it was even better. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. Our smother ribeye was delicious. The brownie w/ ice cream was good. I was surprised to get a free ice cream for my birthday. I totally forgot about the free bday ice cream. Lol. Then we would not have bought the brownie w/ ice cream. Some of the cons we experience this visit? 1) waitress didn't bring my SO's refill soda. 2) the first 2 basket of bread was cooked. It was doughy. My second time trying this place out and the food is great, portion sizes are good and the service was so fast! The location has lots of seating but it is very busy. It is a great place for a family meal or a hangout with friends. I tried the California Chicken with the baked potato side which was pretty good. My experience with this location was not too good. My husband and I wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse with our in laws to celebrate us finding our new home. I had went on the app and added us to the waitlist. I sent the "here" text at 7:56 and was at the front desk at 8pm. We sat at 8:04pm. We were sat at a table that was wobbly. The lady who sat us immediately walked away. No words were said nor any menus were provided. She tapped her hand on the table and walked away. We sat for 5 minutes and no one came. We decided to move our seats one back and my mother in law let someone know. They said someone would be right with us. 10 minutes go by and no one came to us. I was able to stop a server named Trinity down letting her know we had not been helped. She let me know we're sitting in a closed section and that, that is why no one came to help us. In my opinion, if that is the case, someone, including Trinity, should have came to our table and let us know the section was closed. We had a reason to move, and informed a worker as well. Trinity became our server and was rude in the beginning. She placed blame on us for sitting in a closed section but when we were sitting at our assigned table, no one came to greet us. My mother in law continued apologizing. We ever had a manager come to our table (Trinity insisted) and place blame on us as well. We eventually were able to order our appetizers and our food. My plate did come out cold. I assume I had to wait for the others food to be done which caused my plate to get cold. Trinity's attitude shifted and she became a better server. She was on top of things from providing more bread to getting us to go containers and bags for our food. She came to check on us what seemed every 10 minutes or so. It's been about 3 years since I was at Texas Roadhouse and I remember it to be really chaotic waiting in line. This time though, we waitlisted online and waited until it was closer to our time to arrive at the location. That made the process a lot smoother and less waiting for a table. The only issue is parking is terrible so arrive early and wait for parking spots to open. On to the dining experience. We had a party of 5 and we were seated pretty fast. When we sat down our waitress came by and was super nice. She provided excellent service and delivered our food timely. Even though there was a shift change in the middle of dinner, the new waiter was just as good. The noise in the restaurant was ok. Sometimes loud with all the birthday celebrations, but we were all able to hold a good conversation without yelling. The food and drinks were excellent. My prime rib was seasoned well, came out medium rare and thick! I was very pleased with it. The mash was good and the hazy ipa I got was excellent. What can I say--our waitress was very kind and friendly, but unfortunately quite forgetful. I won't mention any names out of respect. We started with just water while we looked over the menu. The water was served quickly, which was appreciated given the 100-degree weather. However, when I took a sip from my glass, the water tasted extremely unpleasant--almost like stagnant or dirty water. I looked at the glass and noticed it appeared dirty as well. I asked my wife if her water tasted strange, and she said no. I tried hers and it tasted completely fine, so I'm not sure what happened with my glass, but it was definitely not acceptable. As for the food experience, we ordered an appetizer that never arrived. About 30 minutes after placing that order, the waitress came back to take our main course order. I inquired about the appetizer, and she mentioned the kitchen may have forgotten it, but said her manager would offer us a discount. The appetizer eventually arrived--just five minutes before the main course--but unfortunately, a few items from our main order were still missing. While the food itself was delicious, the overall dining experience was affected by the multiple oversights. Visited on a VERY busy tuesday. Of course its holiday season and this place was defintely feeling a holiday vibe with all the people here on a tuesday night. The indications from this started with a full parking lot. This place has a decently sized lot but there has never been a time I have seen it not busy. It does come off a side street however, so you can always park out on a the street and walk into the lot. The place was pretty packed so the space in front was quite full. Honestly I think the staff was doing its best and can't really fault them for this. Once we were seated it was a different experience. Staff was great and extremely attentive. The vibe was pretty much a party vibe with birthdays and christmas celebrations all around us but staff was still upbeat and positive. Food was pretty standard from what you expect. Steaks were cooked to the expected order but could have used a bit more char on some of the cuts. We had quite a bit of sides as well and they all tasted great. Of course the filling and best part was the bread and butter which unfortunately I had way too much. Pretty decent overall. The hostess seems to seat the guest in a timely matter, but consider checking-in online to be seated with less wait. I tried the smoked house burger today and it was massive. Loaded with mushrooms, grilled onions, bacon and cooked medium well. I love TRH, but their waitlist check in is a joke. As we were on the way I put my party of 3 on the waitlist, it said "5-15 minute wait", ok great. We get there in a bout 15 minutes & check in with the hostess, she said about 10mins. We waited & waited, watched several large groups walk up & go right in. Meanwhile, the wait time said "0-10 minute wait" on the check in. After watching a minimum of 5 parties arrive & go in immediately I asked the hostess. "Yeah, looks like they text you." No, they didn't. I go in & ask for the manager who proceeded to tell me "maybe it's your phone, not sure of how the text thing works, it's a Google thing." She even confirmed my phone number, ok so call peoples' name out knowing you see people standing around??? That's too hard, Ok, whatever, she said we would be seated next. So they have everyone, including 3 of the large parties that arrived after us waiting in that crowded walkway, which doesn't make sense. Why not have folks wait outside? This HAS to be against fire code (people constantly walking by, saying excuse me, because it's that crowded). There we are, inside that claustrophobic space for another 5mins, the next waitress/hostess finally pulls a ticket, takes her time getting rolls & butter, then goes up to 1 of the large parties & takes them. The manager lied, we were not next & that was enough to have us go elsewhere. I hope the management at this location can think of a better system in servicing your customers (like calling out names when you don't get a response to your text system), assuming you'd like to keep them. Our relatives love Texas Roadhouse! We joined them for dinner and found it to be a pretty fun experience. Luckily, we had a reservation. When we arrived I could see this place is super popular. There were lots of people waiting for their tables. It took probably an addition 10-15 minutes of waiting before we were actually seated, but once seated things started moving in the right direction. The first server we had took our orders and then kind of disappeared. After that another server came and introduced herself and said she'd be taking over. She was awesome! Food was good, from appetizers to entrees. We didn't have room for dessert, and everybody left with a doggy bag. The value was there, good portions for fair prices. While the place has that unique western steakhouse vibe, it was pretty messy with lots of food scraps and other trash on the floor, I'm sure due to the sheer volume of folks being served; but it was a little uncomfortable stepping on the stuff when being escorted to our table. The waitlist was about two hours long, but thankfully, I was able to sign up online through my phone. This made the whole process so much more convenient--I stayed home and left about 20 minutes before the estimated time, checked in upon arrival, and was seated within 10 minutes. This seamless system saved so much time and made the experience stress-free. Our party of five was seated in a comfortable booth, and we were served drinks right away. I didn't realize their lemonades came with free refills, which made them such a great deal--about $4 to $5, and everyone in my party had at least three! For food, we ordered the mini burger sliders, which were surprisingly filling. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the green beans; the flavor just didn't do it for me. But everything else was spot on. One of the highlights was the fresh bread with cinnamon butter. They kept it coming without us even having to ask, which was a nice touch. Service was quick, our server was friendly, and overall, they were really on top of everything. It is the day after Valentine's Day. I wanted a steak and Outback near me closed down. I remembered this place and have not been here in years, I recalled it had good steaks. It was 4 pm and already crowded, it was an hour wait got a spot at the bar. We were informed wait times yesterday were 4 hours. That is why I took my honey to dinner today. Food 8 oz Sirloin with ribs Ordered medium rare Sirloin it was overcooked, they remade it farely quickly, very good the second time around juicy and tender. Ribs fell of the bone. Chili very good. Mash potatoes very good. My honey had the ribeye, it was delicious. Prices are reasonable. Almost took a star away for overcooked sirloin but we really enjoyed our visit. We went to dinner for a birthday meal, and they were all out of Prime Rib which is what the birthday boy wanted, but the manager, Jackie was so sweet and took the birthday boy's meal off our check since he couldn't order what he came for! She also had everyone in the restaurant give him a "Yee-Haw" for his birthday. She was very friendly and so nice! Our server Patrick was great as well- brought a birthday dessert and was a good server, checking in on us frequently & making sure we were happy. We really enjoyed our meal, the service, and the experience! Will continue to come here often, as it's one of our favorites! read more

First off, Analisa (I hope I got her name right) was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, polite, quick, and incredibly hardworking -- especially considering how busy it was during Valentine's Day week on a Saturday night. She was completely on top of serving us and never batted an eye. It was always, "Heck yeah, I'll be right there!" -- and she really was. Her floor manager, Woody, stopped by our table and we made sure to tell him how happy we were with her service. We truly hope he understands how amazing she has been. She was serving a lot of people around us and never needed to write anything down, yet she got everyone's order correct. Food was absolutely amazing.
