The cashier was really nice that helped us out in the beginning. He used our food comps and points to lower the cost of the burger. We ordered the Butch's Burger with a side of fries. The burger tasted great and the fries were tasty. The burger is pretty huge with great flavor. The burger didn't need mayo or ketchup; the sauce was good. The seasoned fries had like chili or cumin; but that was ok. I'd order the burger again.
Not bad for a quick burger. Located in the Market food court, they also have good seasoned fries, and shakes,..I got the strawberry wafer shake. Thete is also turkey burgers , chicken tenders, and hot dogs. Their burgers are on the well cooked side - which made them a bit on the dry side. Luckily their aioli is like 1000 island sauce and goes well on the bun.
I love the food at Butcher's Burgers! I've been here multiple times and am finally writing a review. Today I got the regular cheeseburger and fries. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I was able to finish the whole burger since it's much smaller than the Butcher's Burgers, which is also good, but humongous. The fries are a little over seasoned but cooked perfectly! They're fast with service and I love that you can order and choose wherever you would like to sit...especially since my friends got food from softener restaurants in the food court.
Tried the BBQ bacon burger today. Loved the crispy onions. Burger was juicy. Service was fast. Order at counter. Drink fountains nearby. Lots of seating options. Great for groups!
We went to Skyriver Casino and after playing for a few hours decided to take a break and grab a quick snack. After walking around, we decided to have a burger at Butcher's Burger. I ordered a Double CHEESEBURGER with DOUBLE BURGER PATTIES, and CHEDDAR cheese. We also ordered their fries. Our food came quickly and the service was good. The burger is huge in portions and the beef patties are juicy and tender. The fries are also huge and are good for more than one person. I enjoyed the burger and fries and the price is reasonable. If you're at Sky River Casino, make sure you stop at Butchers Burger and get a bite of their burgers.
My friends and I stop by here, not for burgers, but for strawberry wafer shake! There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly. The shake is pretty good. Sweet and not sour. A pretty big cup and it's a good size to share. Or not! I will be back for this!

Had some business at the sky casino and though I was hoping for a buffet to try out, I saw that they had this food court, and the burgers looked good so we decided to try them out. Prices weren't too bad and the burgers were delicious. The soda drinks were a little on the expensive side at $3.50 for a small plastic cup, but there were a lot of choices in the soda fountains and I'm assuming if maybe if you're staying or gambling you could come back and get a refill. The french fries were very reasonably priced and large and more than enough to share with two people or more. They are located in the back left-hand side of this food court area.
I thought casino food was going to be bad and overpriced since it's just an adult's indoor theme park. The burger here was actually decent. I had a double cheeseburger, keeping it simple. Unfortunately, the burger was a la carte, any fries are side add ons. This burger is huge! It was almost as big as my face. Luckily they have plenty of seats, you can hide in the corner to eat this because you don't want anyone seeing meat juice dripping down your chin. Decent smashburger, just a tad overcooked for my liking, but it wasn't too dry. For $12, this kept me full all night from 4pm. I was glad I didn't order any fries, my stomach might explode. This isn't a burger joint where you HAVE to come out of your way for, but if you happen to be at the casino, this might bring you some joy if you're losing money out there.
We came to the casino just for the burger. It's so far back into the food court that we couldn't even smell the cigarette smoke. Winning! Double cheeseburger was huge! I should've just got a regular cheeseburger. Soft buttery brioche bread. 1 fry order was good enough for 2 people to share. They were heavily seasoned, not my favorite. I'm fine with simple salt. The strawberry shake was very tasty! A custodian came by cleaning the tables. He was sooo friendly!!! I wish I could say the same for the Butcher staff working there. Not very welcoming and unfriendly faces. Customer service needs improvement.

If you read my review for the casino, you know by now that I was excited to check out Butcher's Burger. A few months ago I did a search for the best burger spots in Elk Grove and Butcher's arrived at the top of the results. However, I could not justify driving to the casino to solely have a burger; therefore, I was excited when an opportunity presented itself to hangout with friends at the casino. When I arrived at Butcher's Burger (located inside of the casino's food court) I was greeted by a decent-sized line. However, the employees were super-efficient and I quickly found myself at the front of the line. Since I was anticipating this visit, I had my order ready...the BBQ Bacon Burger (next time I will order the BBQ Bacon Double Cheeseburger) and fries. Esa (the cashier/server) was extremely personable and made me feel like a friend whom she just happened to be serving. I can confirm that the establishment lives up to it's near-perfect Yelp reviews. The burger was bursting with flavor, did not have any dry spots, and was on a quality bun that held up as I devoured the burger. The fries were not only plentiful (I pray that they continue to be this generous), but well-seasoned. I already plan on bringing my wife, whom is what I like to call a burger enthusiast, here to experience this appetizing, delectable, yumminess (yes I'm using all of the descriptive words)!
Stopped by Butcher's Burgers inside Sky River Casino and had a great meal! Ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, fries, and an Oreo Cookie Shake. The burger was juicy, filling, and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of bacon to complement the BBQ sauce. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The Oreo Cookie Shake... Absolutely delicious! Thick, creamy, and full of cookies. Overall, this was a solid meal and a great way to take a break from the casino actionwith goid fast service. If you're at Sky River and need a bite, Butcher's Burgers it is.

Been to Butcher's Burger a few times after a lil bit of playing at the blackjack table and slot machines. Located inside the Sky River Casino, it is one of several restaurants at the food court. Lots of dining tables and pretty clean. There's plenty of parking though sometimes an open spot can be a short walk to the casino. Ordered the Butcher's Burger which is a double burger with thick cut bacon ($14). Also ordered fries ($4). The burger was juicy and good as well as the fries! The patties are thick!! Service is good. Placing and receiving order is quick and efficient. Live close to this casino so will be back soon. read more
A must try for a tasty burger! A single is pretty filling along with seasoned fries and the Oreo shake. (Who's counting calories?) The double will put you over the top. Super tasty and juicy with a soft bun. Service is fast and efficient each time. No complaints. This is located in the casino food court and I'd have to say it the best casino food court in the Sacramento area! Lots of variety. The vibe is bustling on Weds (seniors age 50+ get $5 off $10 purchase, must sign up for a players card) and weekends. Still worth it without the discount! You gotta go check it out! read more

This place is consistently delicious the ambiance in this casino gives off Vegas vibes for sure. The service is always great and the food is absolutely delicious. I've eaten here three times and every single time the hamburger is cooked to perfection. French fries are absolutely delicious, crunchy fresh, and the chocolate shake is amazing!!! 1st time at sky river and we decided to try this place out. I ordered the butchers burger and my girl ordered the BBQ bacon burger. The food was delicious. We shared one fries basket. They serve alot of fries and come seasoned with some sort of dry rub. The service was fairly quick and the place had clean seating. read more
Sunday, 9/10/2023 - Checked out Sky River casino in Elk Grove, Ca. Our first time at this casino. We ate at Butcher's Burger in the casino. Turned out pretty good! Burgers were large and juicy. So good. Juice dripping everywhere from it. I asked for a side of avacado in the burger. It's like $2.00 extra. Eek! But yummy regardless. Fries were fries. Lol. But I liked the seasoning they had on it. Their strawberry shake was perfect! All was really good. Restaurant was clean. Tables clean. Utensils, napkins, drinks are self serve on a counter. read more

It's in the back area of the food court part of the casino. Looks very clean and tidy. From what I can see in the kitchen it's very clean as well. Aesthetically pleasing I'd say for a food station. Cashier was welcoming and efficient. The bbq bacon burger was hella good. Definitely recommend. Didn't get to try the fries or anything else, but I will do so next time. I hear they are good too. read more

Most expensive burger on the menu is $13, add additional $3 for the fries, then add additional $3 for the fountain soda = a total of $19 for a complete meal. Insane price? Yes, but the food is actually good. I think it's worth it - at least the fries and burger. The $3 fountain soda should be complimentary as like all the other casinos around Sacramento; it should be $3 if it's from a bottle or can. The fries are seasoned well, burger is juicy and delicious. The milk shakes are yummy too! It takes a while for the food to be made, so be patient. read more

Where do I start? This Burger place is located in the Sky River Casino. I've been wanting to try this place since it open but never got a chance to until today. The place was busy and you could hear and smell the sizzling of the burgers cooking on the grill. The Chef (He definitely knows how to cook a darn good burger) looked very relaxed as he cooked the burgers to perfection. My son and I had a wonderful time eating here. The Burgers were Huge and the fries were definitely enough for two people. We didn't come to gamble today, we only came to try this place out and I'm so glad we did. We will definitely be back! read more

There are many excellent restaurants in Sky River Casino. Butcher's Burger is one of them. The burgers here are very delicious. I can taste the BBQ flavor, and the ground beef is very juicy. The buns are high quality and fresh. The seasoning french fries are so yummy, and the portion is very generous. The cashier and the kitchen employees are working hard and friendly. I like their dining area. It is quiet and comfortable. You don't feel you're in a casino--no cigarette smoke in the area. read more

I absolutely love the burgers here. In fact I think everything we have gotten so far has been delicious. This is top 5 favorite burger ever and we are burger connoisseurs. Lol. I decided to try the turkey burger but was hesitant because it's easy to make a dry turkey burger. However, this one was juicy and delicious and full of flavor. The fries are delicious with the seasoning. We have tried to Oreo shake in the past and that was yummy for sure. Highly recommend if you need to take a break from gambling. read more
This burger spot is in the Sky River Casino market food court. The decor and modern seating is a very nice touch. It is a quick service spot in a very busy casino. Despite that, the service was quick and they called our food out faster than expected! The fries were well seasoned and were very crispy. For the burger, the meat was very overcooked. The bun and other ingredients were nice and fresh. The overcooked patties was not very enjoyable. read more
So this Burger joint is inside Sky River Casino The menu is very simple of 6 types of Burgers/ chicken tenders/fries & shakes. We ventured in and tried The double bbq bacon cheeseburger & turkey hamburger. Both were delicious especially with a basket of seasoned fries & Choco Oreo shake. Be prepared to stretch your mouth as my Double Burger was about 5" high So glad we are so close to the Casino! Bon appetite! read more
