*Women owned* Great menu, excellent food, good prices, fantastic customer service, nice deli to eat in or take out. I opted for takeout. Went in for the three tri tip tacos but decided to get the Loaded Pastrami Sandwich instead because it's St. Patrick's Day. Quick service, prepared the way I like (minus lettuce, onion and tomatoes). Hot, melted cheese on pastrami with pickles, mustard on a fresh grilled role. It was delicious. Did I say how great the customer service is?! I love going here for takeout or eat in.

This was my first time here. I've always drove by here and I've heard good things about Roundhouse. They are famous for their smoked tri tip tacos. That is what my husband ordered and I ordered the pastrami sandwich minus the onions and pickles. We always share our meals, anyways. That way we get to try more food. The smoked tri-tip tacos meal came with three tacos with a side dish and a drink. You can order à la carte if you want . I ordered a side of potato salad, with my sandwich. You order your food at the counter and they will call you name when it is ready for pick up. They have a small dining area and have some outside tables as well. They have a daily special menu for each day of the week posted. We found an empty table and decided to stay to eat at the dining area. I didn't expect anything from my order, it was a sandwich, how good can it be. When I took a bite, I was surprised. It tasted really good. The hot pastrami was tender and had really good flavor. I really liked it. I liked it better than the tri tip tacos. The tri tip tacos were good too. The tri tip was very tender. Potato salad, was mediocre. I would probably pass on that. I highly recommend the hot pastrami sandwich and tacos.

This place is really great too bad the parking isn't better. I brought my wife this time since we were in the area. It was just before 1PM on a Friday. The place was pretty full and so was the parking lots. We had to park pretty far away. It is located next to Starbucks in a small strip mall. It is pretty small to. Only had about 6 or so tables and a small counter by the front door. You order at the counter and they take your name and call it out to bring the food to you. A lot of take out here since it's so small of a place. I got the Friday special which was tri tip tacos, 3 of them and a side which I got the potato salad and a drink. For 16 bucks. I loved the tri tip tacos. Nice and smokey flavor. Could use a little sauce to get even more flavor. I was pretty full. I wish the potato salad had eggs and celery in it but it was ok. I had all potatoes in mine. The wife got the pastrami sandwich which she really enjoyed. The pastrami was really good. The staff are so nice and helpful. We were even able to get the last table so great. I will be back to get more food.

Interesting take on tri tip having it in tacos. They were good. The tortilla was fried with cheese and lettuce. This was our first time so next time I'd like to try other items. You order at the counter and the staff were very friendly. The deli was small but big enough to sit down and eat maybe 6 tables or so. They have limited hours so be sure to check that out before you go.

Tri tip tacos are the best! Need to come early for their breakfast burritos too. Quick grab and go spot. There's parking but always packed because of Starbucks.

The tri tip sandwich is really good the tacos as well. The macaroni salad is store bought in my opinion, I thought it would be made by them but it was ok. The service was amazing the cashier was really nice and welcoming. The vibe is good to have a nice lunch.

Today is Taco Tuesday, and Roundhouse Deli has a great deal for tacos. Today, I tried the ground beef tacos (3 for $6.99) and they added their popular tri tip tacos for me to try, and they were both delicious. The tacos are filled with meat, which is so authentic and perfectly seasoned, with lettuce and cheese. It's a must try with their hot sauce, which has quite a kick. If you ask me, they make one of the best tacos in town. I've tried other taco restaurants around the area and was not satisfied. Ivan took my order, and is super nice. If you're not sure what to try with their large menu of sandwiches, breakfasts, and tacos, he'll be sure to help you out.

Train wreck breakfast burrito: basically their Tri-tip burrito, add pastrami

Food: 3.8 Service: 4.2 (order at counter, food comes out fast!) Getting the oil changed for the wife's car, so Roundhouse deli I go for breakfast. If you've never been, you know you're close since they're usually using their smoker cooking tri-tip. Entering I was greeted and decided to take my time looking over the menu, their more popular items are on the sandwich board menu standing next to the register. They didn't have a "train wreck" burrito on the menu but they were happy to make one for me! A few minutes go by and the cashier brings my food to me with a squeeze bottle of hot sauce. You can tell it gets a lot of use since remnant of hot sauce was on the top (which I wiped off before using). Now I'm ready to eat. After the 1st bite I was happily surprised that I immediately had Tri-tip and pastrami taste in my mouth. You could tell the quality of and smokiness in the meat THEN IT ALL DISAPPEARED in the middle just egg, onion and cheese then towards the end there was slices of meat. So the distribution of meat in the burrito could have been better. SO, I'm not sure what would have been better getting all the meat in the beginning or at the end? I'll just stick to the train wreck sandwich and try other items on their menu. Bottom line: Did I get delicious food, YES! Did I get good service, YES! So a return trip is in order to see if my review can change...

Charging at Tesla this place is across the Main Street. Easy walk. I'm enjoying the Turkey Club. Bread says WHITE but it is a good white...not like Webbers. (:-) I asked for extra crispy bacon and it IS. There just is not much bacon. But it's still good. I'd come back. Hubby say his TriTip Sandwich is very good too. We're happy travelers. BREAKFAST IS ONLY SERVED TILL 10:30. That was very disappointing because we'd rather have breakfast so just be aware of the time limit! If you find this review useful please VOTE!

Stopped by on Tuesday morning. Parking lot was busy with Starbucks drive thru line. Didn't wait long to find spot. Ordered at counter. Place was packed. Food brought to table. The girl at the counter does double duty, taking orders and getting orders out to diners/takeout customers. Split Jeremy breakfast burrito with my husband. It was filled with scrambled egg, sausage, ham, crispy bacon, potatoes, and cheese. So good! Hot sauce was good, too. Will be back again to try other items. Recommend calling order in for take out.

Small little spot in Elk Grove but a GEM! Decided to grab a bite and ordered the tri tip tacos and the Jeremy breakfast burrito. Absolutely fire! Service was fast and friendly. The tacos are loaded with meat and the burrito is THICK and weighs a ton. So darn good, I'll be back!

The tri-tip tacos on point the tri-tip is so flavorful they're quick. Your food is always fresh hot. I called five minutes before I arrived and when I got there, my food was already done and ready to go back up. Everybody's nice and respectful as a good attitude and whenever I go in there, I always talk with other customers about what they like next I'm going to try the tri-tip sandwich. the save breakfast tacos are really good.... Roundhouse deli don't play around their customer service and food game is top-tier.

It was a Tuesday, so naturally I felt like having "Taco Tuesday". I remember this place had tri-tip tacos, so off we went. It was around lunch time and parking was tough. So just be aware that the parking lot is small. It's shared with Starbucks and a dental place. You might have to park in the back closer to YiFang. There are a few tables inside and a counter to sit and enjoy your food. I think there's a couple of tables outside as well. Well, we got inside, and after looking at the menu, my stomach shifted from wanting their tritip tacos, to wanting their sandwich haha. I ended getting the Trainwreck, and it was very flavorful. You can smell and taste the smoke from the tritip, the bread was soft, the onions were just right. The size is definitely big. I ended up only eating half, which just means I have more for later haha. Overall I'm very happy with my change in selection last minute haha. But I will be sure to come for their tacos next time.

You order your food then you can head to the bar (which is to the left) or go straight into finding a seat! Service: From the person greeting me and my friend at the front, the cashier who took our order, and the server giving us our food - everyone was attentive, kind, and friendly. Once we were seated, our food came out in less than 10 minutes. We were asked if we needed any extra hot sauces, utensil, etc. We had a server introduce himself and check in on us too. Great service! Food: We ordered the Birria Nachos. For the nachos/fries, you can add any choice of meat! The birria was soft and juicy! Not dry at all. The nacho chips are my favorite. They were the thick tortilla chips that didn't break when you use it to scoop up meat/toppings from the nachos. The nachos portion was large enough to be shared between two girls! So great! We also order the Taquileros Burrito with Asada meat. I think the burrito came with mexican rice, the meat, cheese, beans, pico de gallo, onions, etc. it was so GOOD! The cheese (I'm not sure what cheese it is) but whatever was used .. was so good. It really complemented the entire burrito. Highly recommend! Parking: Parking was easy! We stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and there was plenty of parking. I know this place is still new in Elk Grove but I do wish they had a Taco Tuesday deal! Maybe in the future? Overall, great experience and I cant wait to come back to try their drinks!

It was okay. The decor belongs to an upscale restaurant, if you come in shorts and a tee you fit right in. I ordered 3 mini carne asada tacos. They were cold, but I didn't say anything. My husband ordered the carne asada super burrito. He mentioned his burrito was lukewarm. The chips & salsa were $5. I don't want to discourage anyone from coming here, you gotta give this place a try. we'll return in three month. We would love to see real utensils and real glasses for drinks instead of all plastic serving utensils, and plastic cups. Oh and tonight's music genre was country music.

There's no posted menu up front but there are plenty of handheld menus to pick up and glance at. It seems like they have a rotating menu, we came for lunch but they only serve breakfast on Sundays. I overheard our waitress talking to another customers about which days serves breakfast and lunch vs just breakfast. They also have other fluctuating things such as what kind of agua fesca, side salad, or fruit is available for the day. Although it would have been nice to know what the daily rotating items were before ordering we didn't feel like we were shorted or disappointed in the options we had. I also feel like I'm more intrigued to return on a day they serve lunch or other drink options! Chilaquiles had a lot of flavor but they didn't uphold the crunch of the chip very well. All eggs were served runny which I love but my partner isn't into. (Luckily for me I just got two eggs). Chicken sandwich was the best food item by far. The crunch of the chicken was amazing and overall it was cooked perfectly. The pepper on top was a great little spicy snack in between bites. The drinks were awesome. The horchata coffee was amazing, the sangria was so tasty, and the melon aqua Fresca was perfectly refreshing for our Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was clean and had a nice open space so It didn't feel too crowded. We already decided we would be back to try lunch options in the future.

I visited this past Saturday and it was quite busy inside like it always is. The restaurant is large enough to fit a lot of people, so finding a seat isn't an issue. To order, you line up in front of the register and wait until they call you. Once it was my turn, I ordered a Super Burrito with Al Pastor, which is my favorite protein choice there. Usually I order 2 tacos with my burrito but I was saving room for Korean bbq that day! The Super Burrito comes with your choice of meat, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. I also ordered a medium pineapple agua fresca, which paired perfectly with my burrito. After ordering, you're handed a number to take to your table so the servers know where to bring your food. As I'm waiting for my food, I helped myself to the self-serve chip bar. The chip bar is my favorite thing about the restaurant besides the food and quick service. I always get loads of both the white and red pickled onions, and some salsa to go with my chips. They offer many sides to choose from so that anyone can customize their meal to their liking. The pickled onions have the perfect level spice and acidity to them which helps with cutting down the greasiness you may get from a burrito. I also like to snack on them for fun too! The food comes out extremely quickly. When I finished placing my order and brought my number to my table, I went to the self-serve bar right after to get some chips. Not even 2-3 minutes later, I came back to my table with my burrito already there! The burrito was absolutely delicious and piping hot. It's the perfect size for me and eating it with the pineapple agua fresca and some chips makes it a perfect meal! Coming to La Favorita Taqueria is always a treat and I appreciate the quick customer service, self-serve bar, and delicious food!
