Love me some good Falafel Corner! I've been enjoying FC since they opened originally in Natomas and love that they've expanded. My coworkers picked up some plates for our work lunch recently and it was delicious! Very convenient locations since they've expanded. A solid option for Middle Eastern food. I opt for their plates (little to no rice for me); comes with salad, pita, and hummus. Yum!

Food is amazing. Service is very nice and ambience decent. A place I will come back again.

I give 1 star because it is halal. I spent over $100 on pizza and it was poorly made. It looked like they barely put any care into my order and one of my order was wrong. I understand that my order was close to closing time but it shouldn't have been rushed. The pizza was doughy, barely any ingredients on the pizza, and the pepperoni and cheese pizza was undercooked. Normally the pizzas are delicious but this order was bad.

The gyro plate, the pizza leaves me speech every time! Quick & friendly service, shout out to the owner! #hellagood double your meat on the pizza!

Over the past decade, Sac has exploded with gyro restaurants, and in the realm of gyros, Falafel Corner is at the top of my list. Falafel Corner is consistently delicious! The food comes straight off the grill and is SO fresh, it's scalding burn-your-mouth hot. Honestly I was confused about the menu. It's a Bad Mash of random stuff.. gyros, phillies, burgers, and pizza? Maybe that's where they got their Bad Mash Burger name from? But whatever you get, it's sure to hit the spot. Gyro Wrap 5/5* The meat is carved off the spit and they sautéed it on the grill, so your gyro comes out piping hot. The meat is seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of depth and saltiness to compliment with the tzatziki sauce and refreshing crispness of the veggies; and that pita bread! Let me tell you.. pillows. So soft and fluffy! Philly Wrap 5/5* If you think the Gyro Wrap is piping hot, wait until you take a bite of the Philly Wrap. This beast will burn your tastebuds off. The combo of sliced beef, melty cheese, bell peppers, and onion somehow really keeps the heat in, even to the very last bite. Philly Fries 5/5* Ok, what can be so special, right? Same ingredients as the Philly Wrap but on fries instead of pita bread. Well, these fries are SKINNY fries (McD's fries lovers, you know what I'm talking about). The fries are crispy and are loaded with all the great flavors from the Philly Wrap plus more cheese and sauce. Not to mention the portion size is ginormous! Bad Mash Burger 5/5* I'm always skeptical about burgers at a gyro place, but this one seems to be their specialty. Once I've tried it, I was hooked. The beef patty is seasoned just as perfect as the gyro meat and this monster is seriously loaded with all the works and to top it off, an oozy egg. Wow. This burger had better flavors than some of the other burger restaurants I've tried. Gyro Pizza 3/5* This sounded like it would be a great fusion item, but sadly it wasn't a hit for me. The pizza was exactly what its name described. There wasn't much veggies or any other ingredients to balance out the pizza, so it was one-noted. The crust was surprisingly good though - crisp with a slight fluffy texture. If there was a battle of the meats, Falafel Corner chefs would definitely be the reigning champ. Their seasoning has such depth that I can't figure out their combo of herbs and spices, and has enough saltiness to bring out all the flavors. Some other reviewers said it's too salty, but I'm not a salty eater and this wasn't salty for me. Stay salty, Falafel Corner, stay salty.

100% halal menu, which is great for those with dietary restrictions. I've been here a few times and have never gone wrong with any of my selections. I can definitely personally vouch for the Badmash burger, the Philly fries, the Philly Wrap, and the curly fries. Overall, service is always quick and professional and food is always tasty and fresh!

well man i gotta say the employees were very friendly n welcoming. i ordered the chicken platter and for $15, you fosho get a gargantuan amount of food. so you do get ur moneys worth. everything on the plate tasted spectacular but man when i took a bite of the veggies, they left the stem of the cabbage on there. shi broke my heart when i bit into it because the meal was so good. but that shi took me for surprise. took about 10-12 mins for our table of 3 to get all of our food at the same time, so ig that solid. also man i gotta say, the water tasted extravagant. most restaurants be serving hose water or recycled irrigation water. but the water filter they got here did the job. oh yeah, also the place had a like 2 flies bothering tf out of me which was kinda annoying. but food is def solid and employees were really nice.

My wife and decided to give this new place a try and we were very happy we did. The employees were all very kind and welcoming. They were training a few new people and the woman doing the training was very kind and explained everything. I had the beef and lamb gyro. I really enjoyed it. The seasoning was on point and the hot sauce I asked for really added a punch. My wife had the chicken gyro and she loved it. Don't forget the fires.

Deeeeelicious!!! Ordered 3 combo platter, one basket of curly fries & a baklava through GrubHub - Via Yelp. Everything was made on time to pick up. When I came in, I was quickly greeted by both of the guys working, one that was already doing something cleaned his hand & asked me how he could help me. I told showed him my order & I was in & out. Now let's talk food, everything was soooooo good & flavorful! I love their hummus. The chickpea flavor wasn't overpowering at all. The meat were seasoned & cooked to perfection. The baklava is exactly how a baklava should taste, crispy on the outside, sweet & chewy on the inside. I should've bought a few more because my daughter was all over it lol. Portion sizes are perfect, one order was mine & I shared it with my 4 year old. She loved the food just as much as I did. Overall I would definitely be ordering from here again!

I tried the chicken platter and a cheese burger. Both items were delicious. Platters have a huge portion. Do ask for the white tezzaki sauce. This place has pizza too. I got a pizza while leaving. It was soft , meat was juicy just the way I like it.

Last nights spicy chicken burger . What even is that? I frequent this spot due to it being close to my work. The people at the counter are pleasant and my food typically has been good. But what I received last night was not ok. If you accidentally burn food, have the decency to make me a new burger.

And super welcoming. They serve alcohol here so perfect spot for a drink and a slice! The pizza was so good! They offer a lot of different kinds of pizza but we went with a pepperoni pizza. Super good and tasty! The pizza is a little more on the oily side but i suspect it's from the amount of pepperoni, which I'm not complaining about I love a good pepperoni pizza! Especially when they don't shy away from the pepperoni. Also ordered some truffle fry's and I'm personally not a fan of but if you're a fan of truffle that will be right up your alley! I will say the fry's were not soggy at all and had a great crisp to them and stayed having that crisp so that was really nice. I got a table at the top in the back. The table was a little dirty and had not been wiped down. Had to do it ourselves. The manager was across from us but didn't say anything along with another worker. Oh well. It wasn't very busy inside. They had a couple of people on the outside tables and two tables taken inside. Pretty empty otherwise. The lady told us that it would be 22 minutes for our pizza to be ready. I think we got it in 20. These are not the traditional round type. They are square and a good size to. It was 44 bucks for this pizza since we had water to drink. They crust was the best part. Nice an crispy. The vegetarian was not bad. I Liked it . The Combo was just adding salami and pepperoni. It was alright. I liked the veggi better. A lot of my wife's friends said they really liked this place. I thought it was nice but the drive from Elk Grove was a bit for this pizza. Which I thought was just ok. At least we tried it. Not bad. If I was in the area then yes.

La Porta Came here…read moreon a Saturday for a friend's birthday with a large group of 17, and we didn't have reservations--so we knew it might be a bit of a challenge. At the time, they had one cook and a manager who was also acting as the bartender and server for the whole floor. You could tell he was a little nervous at first with such a big party, but honestly, he handled it really well. He was friendly, energetic, and super transparent about what they were out of since everything is made fresh. He also did a great job explaining the dishes and cocktails, which we appreciated. Our group was pretty easygoing, and overall the experience felt fun and relaxed. The food came out looking (and tasting) amazing across the board. I ordered the gluten-free hot honey pizza, and it was a standout--perfect crust, nice balance of sweet and heat, and loaded with cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. Definitely a win. One of my friends also ordered gluten-free and tried the pesto chicken pizza. Unfortunately, that one missed the mark--the chicken was overcooked, the pesto flavor was off, and the pizza itself was a bit bland. However, when she mentioned it, the server immediately made it right by remaking her pizza and not charging for it, which we really appreciated. The space itself has a great vibe--cute aesthetics and it sounds like they host events during the week like DJs and art nights, which is a fun touch. Parking can be a little tricky since it's on a busy intersection, but manageable. Overall, a really solid experience, especially considering our group size and no reservation. I'd definitely come back and would love to see gluten-free pasta options added in the future!

He also helped my grandma find something on the menu that wouldn't be too carb heavy since she is diabetic. He is everything you want in a server-kind,direct,knowledgeable, and dependable. I would come back any time just to get customer service like that. The sauce has a flavor like no other pasta I've ever had it's rich but not too rich creamy but not too creamy and the thing that sets it apart from other creamy pastas is the subtle Cajun flavor. It tastes a bit like old bay and Tabasco to me with some other amazing things in it I'm sure but it was delicious 9/10 My grandma likes to order a lot of things for the table because she never got to have that so she ordered a bunch of things for herself to try and for me to finish. We had the meatballs and they were fantastic but she felt they were too big haha 9/10. Then we had the calamari which was my favorite of the appetizers we ordered. I'm hoping next time to try the polenta fries. Then for her main course my grandma had the wedge salad which she loved but she did mention she wished it had lots more bacon and I can't blame because I too always want more bacon on things. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back very soon.
