But when I got there the gentleman who was working the to go pick asked me to please give him a minute but it turned into several minutes, but he was trying to pack more orders and probably assumed my food hadn't been made yet. So I had to wait 5 minutes before I asked the cashier if he could help me grab my food. I already saw it on the shelf waiting. The food was good, for those who have not been here before , this was my first time too. A slider isn't really small like most ppl would assume, it's a full sized chicken Sando. So a #2 meal with maybe another side is more than enough to fill up 2 ppl. If you like spicy chicken Sando this is a great spot to eat. Price is fair for a spot that specializes in the spicy chicken Sando compared to other fast food chains that serve a bunch of other items and happen to have spicy chicken sandwiches. The food here hits! I got the angry mac which is a loaded Mac with a bed of fries and a couple chicken tenders chopped up into perfect bite sizes. Then they top it off the the Mac on top with a drizzle of their house sauce and the spice. I got the medium spice which was very tolerable. I was thinking about trying the next level up the next time I go. This location used to be Rubio's, you know that place that served inexpensive fish tacos. This place however is really expensive. I ordered combo #1 and it was about $18. Service here isn't that great, but food was ready fast. Combo included lots of seasoned fries. These weren't anything special. I had to put mine in an air fryer though because they weren't cooked enough. The sliders that came with the meal tasted great, I ordered them at hot level spicy. I only finished half the meal because it was a lot. Except I think I got food poisoning from the food here... I was sick after a few hours and the next day I just felt miserable the whole day. The #1: chicken was cooked well nice, tender and juicy, but there was no crunch since the chicken was lightly breaded while their medium spice had no heat IMO. The slider were topped with Cole slaw which really wasn't present when eating. The angry Mac was a good size bowl: a mixture of Mac & cheese with fries topped with chicken. The Mac was soft (noodle not over-cooked) and creamy, the fries were a bit soggy being place at the bottom of the bowl. This is day 2, and we figured out the line will not be as crazy. We went at 1:30 pm on that Saturday. The line is at the door but very fast. It took about 20 minutes from order to getting the food to go. General, wait time is reasonable. The store is nice and clean. There are plenty of outdoor seating in addition to indoor. The line moved very fast. The staff is well trained and very knowledgeable and coordinated . There is teamwork there even it is only day 2 since opening, which was a very pleasant surprise! The food had 5 level of spiciness, and we got #1, angry fries, and side of tender. Total was around $40. We got them in country and mild. We love Korean noodles so that will be how we compare the spices, which their mild has way more heat than I expected. It is not burning a hole in my stomach, but if you only handle half a pack of Korean ramen powder, you will want to opt for country. Their mild is more spicy that a whole pack of Korean ramen powder. Since we had the food to go, it was not a fair assessment. My hubby says it take better than the other place in town, as the chicken got a more smokey flavor here. Not sure if it was the peanut oil making that difference. Our recommendations is if you don't want to dine there, open the container on the drive back. They were also nice enough to remind me that they were offering a free macaroni and cheese side to every purchase so I got to take advantage of that also. The fries were really good, maybe a bit too seasoned, but still tasty and crispy. The sliders were great too. The pickled slaw added a nice tang that balanced the flavor really well. The spice level though was insane. I usually can handle spicy food but this was out of this world. My mouth was on fire and I was sweating halfway through. Next time I'll definitely go for mild or medium because that heat was no joke. Even with that said, I won't hold it against them since that's on me for picking high heat.
