Goodness, I haven't had Fire Wings in so long since I am a Wingstop lover but I do like to support Sac origin businesses when I can. I have to say I just had the most saltiest lemon pepper wings I've ever had in my life. The salt was packed on or something. I had to wipe off/scrape the seasoning off with a napkin on all of my wings. Luckily, I only did a 6 wings combo or I would've been more amped up. Even after scraping off the seasonings, they were still unbearable to eat, as I can still taste the hefty amount of zest/salt combo leftover. Had to eat rest of the bites paired with my fries (good thing I got plain fries) cos I was starving! Not sure if I will be returning after this. Just all around not a good experience for me.

We had a pleasant cucumber salad in place of kimchi this time. It was a refreshing mix of onions, scallions, and Korean red chili powder yet not spicy. It was great to balance the spicy tteokbokki! The delicious yet fiery tteokbokki had nice chewy rice cakes, flat fish cakes, and a couple of seaweed wrapped japchae bundles. The scallions, onions in hot pepper sauce, and melty mozzarella cheese were delightful Seating was nice and open and the simple wood tables and chairs were nice and felt homely too. It's a nice, casual spot with several TVs throughout, so I could definitely see this being a good place to grab some food and watch a football game. The staff was friendly and gave us time to look over the menu without feeling rushed. I'm not a fan of spicy mayo, so I asked about other options and they suggested a few, including ranch, which I went with. Our order also came out pretty quickly. My son really enjoyed his Bulgogi Fries. I thought they were okay, but they had a sweetness I wasn't expecting. After a few bites, the flavor just wasn't for me. The portion is also on the smaller side and better suited for one person. Overall, good atmosphere and friendly service. The fries weren't necessarily bad, just not my preference. I'd come back and try some of their other menu items.

Stopped in around 8:30 and were the only patrons in the restaurant for that part of the evening. I looked over the menu and asked several questions about dishes, and decided on the two meat plate. I ordered the chicken and beef skewers option, which came with rice, a vegetable medley of shredded lettuce, cabbage and carrots, and pitabread with a green sauce in the side. Total: $21.00 Everything was fine until, I took a bite of the rice and realized there was plastic in my food. *see picture* I hadn't eaten much of the food yet, and unfortunately was pretty much dknewith my meal after that. Overall: Female staff member was really nice and very helpful in. She was also very social. Meal was a little on the pricier side in my opinion, for a two meat Kabob plate. Jist good g off other similar Kabob dishes I get being around $15. Food tasted good, but I couldn't get past the plastic in my food and didn't finish the rest. Given how slow it was, we were surprised by the long wait--about 30 minutes. Although we planned to dine in, our food was served in to-go containers, which was a little unexpected. Still, we stayed and ate there. We ordered the grilled chicken salad and the chicken and waffles. I got the salad without croutons, with vinaigrette and grilled chicken. It was simple, but refreshing and flavorful--perfect for a hot day. The waffles were extremely crunchy, which I liked. Just be prepared: they have that deep-fried flavor, almost like a waffle-flavored funnel cake. You can definitely taste the oil, but if you don't mind that, it's delicious! The chicken was flavorful as well. As for the downsides: the butter was solid and wouldn't melt, and the syrup was cold. Both are key to a good chicken and waffle combo and should definitely be improved. Other than that, we'd definitely go back!
