I was surprised at the portion sizes of their meal! We wanted to order take out and they recommended the lamb gyro which was delicious and great as leftovers. Plenty of parking nearby and solid menu options!

Authentic taste and great variety. You can really taste the love and effort put into the cooking. Highly recommend!" Top-notch service! Our server went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Truly appreciated the hospitality

Family run and fresh food. We had the gyro and the afghani salad (which has a yummy cilantro and jalapeño dressing). The service and food were very fast as well.

I wouldn't say this is my first time trying a kabob place but it has been a very long time. The food was decent, the size of the plate was good. I would say it was worth the $15. I would choose this over any fast food joint. You get to choose your own drink from their fridge. I drove down from rancho cordova. So would I come back yea.... If I was in the area. Their plates are worth $15. Their service was quick. We ate in and the inside is a little dull, very empty. It's great if you want to be alone with your group.

Very clean and nice place for dining and to go orders with a very professional customer service and nice behavior with customers. I really recommend everybody to come and try them. That's what we did and we were very happy with their delicious food and thanks.

I usually go to Rumis Oasis - the other Arab/ Afghan spot in this same parking lot but was directed here by Yelp when I was hungry one Sunday afternoon - I got the potato bolani and a chicken kabob plate : this kinda cuisine is always mad expensive and they are always stingy with the portions lol. The bolaniwas quite large but needed salt or some kind of seasoning was missing. The green chutney was kinda watery. The kabob was okay but the portion size was not super generous. Will I come back ? Maybe

Delicious food. We ate the mixed gyro and lamb kabob. Staff were very friendly and dishes were large. We will be back.

Our nephew was in town visiting and we wanted to go some place new to eat. We chose Mediterranean…read morestyle foods and found Crest Cafe. It's a clean and bright place with youthful-energy decors. It's quite stylish, including the menu. For appetizers, we ordered Mediterranean Nachos (my favorite, very flavorful, it's a must try), Mediterranean Gyro Fries (delicious) and Hummus. Three of us did the "build your own" entrees and chose wraps as our styles. Our meats choices were garlic chickens, kabobs chicken and chicken shawarma. We liked our wraps particularly their sauces. The wraps looked beautiful and clean looking. We placed our orders at the counter and the hostess was very nice. We enjoyed our foods so much that our nephew ordered some foods to go for his kids and marked this place to come again with his family.

My husband ordered the Chicken Kebab plate with Tazitikii sauce. The kebab was cooked perfectly but he found the portion to be too small for him and noted he will order extra meat next time. I got myself the Mediterranean Bowl which was packed with rice, veggies, and chicken shawarma. Our dishes were very flavorful yet refreshing and clean. You can really tell great quality ingredients are used here which explains the slightly high price point. Parking: Found no issues finding spot right in front of restaurant in the small plaza

She'd noticed my growing curiosity about Afghan cuisine from a previous visit elsewhere and gently pointed me toward Chopan Kabob House, insisting it was worth the experience. There was something comforting in that recommendation--like being guided toward a place that already held meaning for someone you trust. When I arrived, I was immediately struck by the restaurant's clean, welcoming atmosphere. The space felt intentional--nicely furnished without being overwhelming, simple yet warm. I mentioned I was ordering takeout, and the gentleman behind the counter handed me a menu. At first glance, it seemed straightforward, but the more I looked, the more it felt thoughtfully curated--each item carrying a sense of tradition and care. Wanting a proper introduction, I chose the Combination Kabob with Tikka and chicken. It felt like the right balance--a way to experience more in a single meal. I was told it would take about 20 minutes, and as I sat waiting, I found myself appreciating that detail. In a world built on speed, those 20 minutes felt reassuring. It suggested intention, freshness, and the kind of cooking that isn't rushed. When I finally brought the meal home and opened the container, I was genuinely surprised. The portions were generous--almost abundant. A vibrant salad added a refreshing contrast, while the long-grain rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked. Then there were the stars of the meal: the Tikka beef and the chicken, both beautifully prepared. Each bite carried depth--layers of spices and seasoning that felt both bold and comforting. It wasn't just flavorful; it felt rooted in something deeper, something traditional. By the time I finished, I realized this wasn't just a satisfying meal--it was an experience that lingered. There's a certain nostalgia in discovering a place like this for the first time, especially through the recommendation of someone close to you. It feels personal, almost like being let in on a secret. I'm already looking forward to returning, perhaps next time to dine in and take in the full experience. And with a menu that promises more to explore, this feels less like a one-time visit and more like the beginning of a new favorite.

The wall murals inside the restaurant are top tier and gave me a good chuckle. Service was also exceptional - our server was patient while we took our time to order and was very friendly. The buns are very soft and buttery. I had a bite of the jalapeno smash and wow I would get this next time - the sauce and grilled onions with jalapeno are perfect compliments to the burger. The fries are also super crispy and well seasoned. Very close to my ideal fry (just a bit more seasoning and it'd be perfect!) It was my brother's 2nd time here and the menu has changed since then. For the service, the employee who took our order seemed out of touch and wasn't too focused on what we were saying. I get it, I work at fast food too, but customers should definitely be a #1 priority. My partner and I ordered #1 and #3. As our food came out, the presentation was lacking what was being promoted on their screens. The burgers looked smaller than what we saw on their screens. For the burgers, the buns were cold and you can ask my partner, burgers are my thing! but these burgers, were middd. The fries were hotter than the burgers lol. I think if the burgers were hotter, they would have tasted better. Overall, I will definitely give this burger joint another try but at a different location instead! 4.5/10
