Walked in and noticed that there were lots of empty seats. Still had to wait 20 minutes for a seat. After being seated at one of the afore mentioned seats waited an additional 15 minutes for our waitress to come to the table. Took entirely too long to receive our CHIPS and SALSA. No cooking there!!! Our food took forever to get to us. Only getting two stars because the food is great and the manager apologized for our wait and offered us food we already had although he didn't take it off our check. :( Oh our waitress made us feel like we were bothering her!! This is one of the best Chili's locations I've been to. The servers have been consistently friendly and were very attentive. We got the 2 for $22 deal. We had the Texas cheese bacon fries. They came out in a reasonable time, were properly prepared and hot. Unlike at the White Marsh location, we got a full pan of fries. For our entree we had the quesadillas. They were hot ,fresh and not greasy. In other words well made and delicious. Our drinks were always kept filled. In fact the runner even made sure we had fresh drinks. Excellent teamwork. (Hopefully the waitresses tipped him out). This Chili's is everything it should be. Well managed and we'll staffed. The White Marsh location could learn a lot from the Dundalk Chili's. read more

Hello, As an expecting mother, I had the worst experience ever. Wish I could give 0 stars. Our server and the kitchen staff were the absolute worst. Our server was always missing and did not stay long enough to hear anything we needed. Awful dining experience. I selected the cajun shrimp pasta 3/$10 from the menu and they refused to provide me with the proper meal. My plate came out cold without bread or cajun seasoning on it. Had to also ask to get my salad that came with the meal. My spouse plate came out incorrect as well. I asked nicely to get a hot plate and was brought out the same exact plate with more alfredo sauce on it but not warm. I then found a bean on my plate in the pasta which I asked if I could get a new plate cooked to go because after waiting on the missing server for so long my party was done eating. When I asked if I could get my proper meal to go I was brought out Chicken pasta instead. I do not eat chicken and the server failed to even recognize that she brought a shrimp plate back more than once to get resolved. Instead of resolving the issue they brought out shrimp in a container to have me pick the chicken off to add the shrimp. They put the same meal in a to-go box with the bean still in the plate instead of cooking a fresh plate to provide a paying customer. I will never waste my money here again. I live in Dundalk but always go out the White Marsh location because, every time I've visited, this location has always been mediocre, at best. The restaurant has never once been busy when we've visited. If they were busy, some of the issues that I've had would be understandable but, when there's more wait staff on duty than guests in the dining room, these things should not be occurring. 1st visit: This location was fairly new so I tried to be patient but after watching multiple servers stare at us and immediately look away when we caught their eye (then never going to get a host nor ever speaking to us), I finally went up to the bar to ask if they were still seating and that's what prompted a host to come out. At this point, we had been inside the restaurant close to 10 minutes. The chips and salsa that we ordered were so greasy that the vast majority of them were transparent and soggy; when we asked for new chips, were told that this is how they came out and there was nothing they could do to fix that (they've never come out that way in WM). 2nd visit: same issue with being stared at by the wait staff while standing at the empty host stand for about 5 minutes, waiting to be greeted and seated. No issues with the food this time around. 3rd (and last) visit: was just at the beginning of this year. We, again, waited about 5 minutes to be greeted and sat. After we were sat, it was around another 5 minutes before a server greeted us and took our drink order. This time, my daughter's burger was requested to be medium and she got it completely well done, no pink whatsoever. My son and I both ordered street corn with our meals - his was fine but mine had almost no chili pepper or cotija cheese and it had exactly 2 leaves of cilantro on it. I also ordered the honey-chipotle crispers and had to request extra sauce on the side because they were only about 3/4 covered with the sauce. I love Chili's but I won't return to this location anymore. I'll drive the 20mins to WM so I know what I'm ordering is what I'm actually getting. read more

We havent been here due to reviews but have visited the last two nights. Service was good with the bartenders however it is ridiculous that they are out of simple beer and basic liquors. Three different drinks and a basic beer are out and some for over a week. This place cpuld be making alot more but seems to not be managed well. I had did an online hold my name, which let me add I have done this more than once. But last night manager decided she was going to remove our names from the list because we had a party of 12 at 830. She didn't want to sit us so she removed my name from the waitlist and I know she removed it because I seen 2 min before pulling up said we had no wait. Instead she never sat us she didn't even put our name back on the list. Going to say if I can't sit you by 9 than I can't sit you. Have tried this place numerous times with consistently better results each time. The wait staff is definitely friendly and the food has always been delicious. Only down sides I can really say though is that there has been SOMETHING incorrect on an order EVERY time I've gone here. And even when the place is quite empty it still takes too long to get food or a refill. Not to mention the place is always ice cold. Sometimes to the point it's no longer comfortable. As you read my review, keep in mind that this is the first weekend this specific Chili's has been open, so hopefully service will go nowhere but up. I have a family of five. We were told we have two different servers working together for us. Only one server ever came over. But whatever, it's no big deal. We ordered our drinks, 3 appetizers, and meals. We got our drinks about ten minutes later. Then we waited. One of our appetizers came out half an hour after the drinks. Half an hour after that, we got three of our meals. My dad still hadn't gotten his appetizer (a salad), I still hadn't gotten my appetizer (Texas fries)... and my dad's meal was wrong. We also ordered a round of refills. Fifteen minutes after that, my brother and sister got their meals. My brother is a vegetarian, specified that to the waitress, and said he wanted a black bean burger with no bacon. His burger came with bacon. Still no salad, and two meals wrong, after over an hour. About ten minutes after that, my dad got his salad. Now we just had to wait for my brother's meal and our refills. So after being at the restaurant for over an hour, we could BEGIN to eat as a family. Our meals were decent. I got bacon ranch chicken quesadillas, but for some reason they failed to put ranch on it. My mom really loved her food, which is literally the only reason I didn't give a one star review. Will not be coming back. read more

I have waited for the opening of this chilis since hearing it was coming to dundalk. I can say I'm very disappointed. I hope service and everything else will improve with time, but usually things tend to go downhill with time instead. Tried to come here yesterday, did call ahead seating and still waited more then an hour on top of the 45 minutes before finally leaving. Today, we did call ahead and we're told 30/45 minutes so we waited an hour before even heading over just to wait another 15 minutes before being seated in the bar area (eventhough we asked for a table for 4 adults and a baby) I noticed several other tables cleared and open and still we were smushed into a small booth table in the bar area. We asked to be moved and finally after more the an additional 15 minute wait, our request was fufilled. It seemed they were out of everything, no coke, sprite, lemonade, no lemons (eventhough the server said they were being cut, we never got any lemons) out of many salad dressings, pink sugar, salmon and corn on the cob. We ended up ordering cheese fries, rib, fajitas, a chicken quesadilla and bottomless chips and salsa. For the most part, the food was good, with the exception of the chips, they were salty as hell, i doubt the ocean is as salty these chips. Both refills tasted just as salty. It took quite a long time for our dinner to come, even the refills on chips and drinks took more the 10 minutes. The wait staff is friendly but so slow. The bathroom was disgusting, only one sink, which was wet and trash all over the floor. One stall literally had crap all over the seat and the other one was just dirty. Also, check your checks people, we had additional drinks added to our bill. I get it, it's new and all but management definitely should have been more prepared for opening week alot better then what they were. I try it again in about 6 months or so when the newness wears off, I hope for better results in the future. read more

To give context, this is a review on a to-go order. We ordered a house salad with ranch on the side and got cold fries instead. Then we had to heat up the burger as well. The garlic toast for my Cajun pasta was burnt. Overall cold food, wrong order, and poor quality gives this first to-go experience a 1 star. read more

12 days later from our first time and what a difference in service-for the better. We did go around lunch time and it was not that bad crowded wise like the first time we were seated quickly. However unlike the first time service was well organized and better. The wait staff that where numerous was down to a more manageable level. That kept it a bit more personal and attentive to us. Our drinks were refilled and that was nice not to look for a waitress it was already on her mind. Where our initial visit took 45 minutes to get our appetizer this time the change was enormous our appetizers were right out. This was a vast improvement! My son got his ribs this time fully and he tried the dr pepper bbq sauce. I got the Southwestern Egg rolls again I really like these - the spice to sauce and even lettuce that cleanses the spice. My son got a molten dessert that came with his ... however I was in heaven over their triple berry crumble cake and so was my son. His friend that joined us was enjoying her Quesadillas. A small bump in the beginning... but it happens. But what a difference a day makes. Glad you got it together on service and we got all the food this time in good time... and it was tasty! I have eaten lunch and dinner at this Chilli's many times .. on July27,2016 had lunch .. Started with the fried pickles, they were half batter and the batter that was there was very hard .. So replaced with the chips and salsa .. The salsa was full of water .. The manager replaced the salsa with some chopped tomatoes and peppers and the watered down original salsa .. I was told that. the salsa is always that way ..I have had the chips and salsa in many Chillis and never experienced this problem before . It's was a very disappointing experience because I really like Chilli's .. The staff seemed unfazed by the condition or the complaint . The entree was served ribs and fries .. The fries tasted like rubber and they were cold .. I asked the waiter to taste a fry and he say they were fine . I sent everything back ..The manager finally apologized but at this point I was afraid to eat anything... we ordered a 2 for $20 .. never ate any of my food or pickles or chips .. I had water and my granddaughter had a sprite and the chicken bacon quesadillas ..never got any sauce .. And the bill was $ 15.79 ..The manager took $8.50 off of the check . The waiter placed the check on the table never say a word like we had done him wrong . Never came back to the table until I called him ... I am done with Chilli's .Merritt Blvd . Before leaving I talked to the manager I explained that I read the Yelp reviews and most were not good . They both replied that they don't read the reviews . Brand new location so what better way to test it out then a Friday night. Arrived to a packed house and only a few families waiting. Was told an hour wait, but realized that was grossly dramatized. Right off the bat, bad hostess. Overwhelmed and giving people out of this planet wait times. As I waited, I watched 13 families leave from a lying hostess. My wait for 4 was only 24 minutes (what happened to an hour). Lol this isn't my first go around. As we were seated I couldn't help but notices a half dozen of tables empty and unclean. I noticed 2 seater tables empty and the hostess filling large booths with 2 party groups. It appears this location hasn't learned to turn tables quick and the hostess is just plain horrible and stealing from the business from her lack of training, lying or whatever else the issue may be. Was greeted by a smiling face of a young waitress that was really trying. She had her flaws for sure, but was obviously trying. What flaws? Well, forgetting who ordered what, giving someone who only drinks Diet Coke for health reasons regular and lack of attention to detail. Food came for the kiddos first and my sons chicken tenders were covered in chipotle sauce... Returned to kitchen. Friend ordered a burger with no tomato and provolone cheese. She got a American cheese burger with red mayo. Why red mayo? Because they put a piece of tomato on the sandwich and then realized it was no tomato so they just took it off. But it was already too late. Drinks are way overpriced. I got charged $4.25 for a small glass of natty boh beer. Even the manager told me she was shocked at the price and giggled because she claims she doesn't work there so doesn't really know. White marsh location is far better then this one. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere but they have a lot of work to do. Not worth the $75, but maybe I'll return to give them another shot. Go and see for yourself. read more

It was a Friday night. The place was at half capacity but wait time was quoted 10-15 minutes. 40 minutes later we were sat. Service seemed promising delivering the kids drinks and our skillet quo's quickly. 20 minutes went by without our bar drinks and the chips had been empty for 10 minutes. Drinks were brought. My husband's had strawberry purée in it. It was a presidente marg but we sat quietly and didn't complain. Food came out 35 minutes after drinks. Again place was at 1/2 capacity. I wouldn't blame my servers if during any of this time we were updated. The servers were friendly enough and I gave them a good tip but we were also overcharged for a beverage and table tops games since the battery died a minute into first game. overall hated spending $120 for my family of five for the horrible experience. read more

Great service; walked right in to sit at a booth in the bar. Was checked on to see if we needed anything multiple times and when they accidentally brought out the wrong side dish with my entree the waitress quickly caught it and left the mistake side which I gave to my husband and the correct item came very quickly. Chilli's is a huge chain. Mom & Pop/locally owned or eateries that have maybe on other outlet - is the only way to go. You cannot expect good food or service when the eatery is part of a huge chain. The Caribbean salad I ordered was awful! I understand portion control but nothing but lettuce. My Chili was cold and wasn't asked for a drink refill! DO NOT COME HERE until months have passed and staff have had proper training. Friends and I were excited to be there for the grand opening. Place was empty, and the host was distracted by her phone. Finally sit down in the bar area and wait a good 10 minutes until someone ask us what we want to drink. We order drinks and nacho appetizer. Another 10 minutes goes by and we still don't have drinks. The bartender is standing behind the bar literally doing nothing but watching TV. Finally our drinks arrive and we forget that we were growing angry. Until our drinks are gone with no food. The waitress then ask us if we want refills and we say yes. She tells us we can order them from the machine on the table and she would be right back to get us chips and salsa. Now we're just confused. As we're waiting we order drinks through the machine. Two seconds after placing our drink order a different waitress shows up and brings us our drinks. 5 minutes later more drinks were brought to our table. When our original waitress comes back with the chips and salsa I ask if our nachos are still coming. She apologizes and says yes, they're just going to be a minute. I also ask her what the heck is up with all these drinks we didn't want. She told us to place an order through the machine and we did. She also put in an order for us at the bar AFTER she told us to use the machine. She apologizes and comps the drinks from our tab. Nachos finally arrive and we place our entree orders. Two of us got ribs and one had a chicken burrito. The waitress brings us our food and apologizes that they had already made the ribs with the wrong sauce, and ask us if that's okay. We didn't care because we were starving. Were. The ribs were beef jerky. So overcooked and dry that the meat on the bone was hard. I had to eat them because I was starving but my friend refused. They comped the ribs from our tab. I politely asked the waitress what the heck was going on and she blamed the kitchen. Said everyone had one week of training and nobody knew what they were doing. We always ask for Olive when we go there. She is attentive, and always keeps us up to date with changes to the menu she thinks we might like. I always say first impressions make a difference, and the hostess Jackie always greets you with a smile and welcome. Oh chilis, we really tried to give you the benefit of the doubt since you just opened...but way too many strikes during lunch so I have to do this. We ordered 3 drinks, 1 no ice one no lemon. The first round of drinks came out with 1 mistake. No biggie happens everywhere. Second round a different mistake still no Big deal. Ordered the half rack of ribs special that they are pushing. Comes with salad, ribs, fries and molten cake. NEVER got the salad. Pretty sure the table next to us got it. Ribs and fries good as usual. Other two lunches were good too. Placed a Togo order also when we ordered all of the other food. After we ate our entrées we waited quite a while not seeing our waitress, which seemed to be pretty common through the entire meal. We had to grab a second waitress multiple times because ours just stopped coming to our table. Asked for our Togo order, the salad, and the cake to go. We were in a hurry from the beginning. They bring the cake out Togo, and said we are still trying to find the enchiladas Togo. What do you mean find them? Are they lost? A half hour goes by from the time we finished eating until we finally got the enchilada...still no salad after asking for it at least 5 times with 2 waitresses and the manager. The manager brought the enchiladas out and tried to apologize but by this point we had been sitting there for well over an hour from the time we sat down...for LUNCH! My mom ended up a half hour late back to work. The manager said let me get you some coupons, so my mom waited another 5 mins while we went to the car...she come out and I asks what she gave you, NOTHING! They ran out. We understand that this is your first week and there will be problems, but you should be trying to take care of them right away. There was no urgency to help us out, no real apology until the manager came. We will try to come back again, but not right away unfortunately. I should give a lower rating than what I am, but the food was good. It was all the service and I want this place to succeed. We need places like this in Dundalk.
