[[HIGHLIGHT]]Absolutely delicious food, killer drinks, and a cozy environment to hang out and watch tv.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friends and I decided to order a bunch of appetizers and share and everything we ordered was SO good. The potstickers, onion rings, bbq pork mac and cheese bites, and cheese curds were all stellar. Hot, fresh, saucy, and seasoned well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had the Orioles game on the tv above the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have a patio where they give tableside service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar was a bit sticky when we got there, but the bartender was more than happy to wipe it down for us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friend was trying to decide which cider to get, and the bartender gave us some samples to try before deciding. I will be back!

We decided to try the Brass Tap prior to a show at the Lyric. The HH prices are great, the selections are many and the food is legit. We got there right before the place turned crazy busy. Their specialty drinks were pretty sweet, so we stuck to some old standards instead. The Korean BBQ Pork Nachos were huge. The Chicken Wings were juicy and huge as well, and the basket of Onion Rings was....huge and crispy. We ate and drank for a solid hour and a half, served by an attentive staff and didn't feel rushed. We did receive time checks from our server, letting us know how close to showtime we were. This place prepares for the pre-theater crowd and delivers a great experience.

Decided to update since it's been awhile! This spot has become one of my favorites in town for sure. Always a great beer selection and food selection. Their Sunday brunch items are great and a good starter if you're coming to watch a Ravens game! Love the people that work here: Yvette, Dylan, Aiden, Erin, to name a few. There are always fun events here; love Wednesday trivia and Thursday Jeopardy nights. There is also karaoke on Thursdays which is a fun time. Overall, Brass Tap is an awesome spot to hang out and enjoy some good food and drinks.

I love the food every time I come (whether it's take out or dining in). I tried the pulled pork mac n cheese bites for the first time and will be getting them again. I also got my regular sweet heat bbq burger. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sat outside on the patio and could hear the live band from the speakers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are here each Sunday until 2pm. The service was fast and attentive.

The food is yummy and the drinks are hitting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Notes this is a bar but they do have high top and low top tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have outside seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have TVS to watch the game and lite music playing in the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I like this spot and will return.

Came here pre-show happy hour, we were welcomed by warm and inviting staff, had a great time with good cocktail drinks and whiskey flight. Delicious wings, salads, boom book shrimps, and more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Reasonable pricing, relaxed and rustic atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend to check this place out & Thursday is their bar trivia night ;-)

We visited for Sunday brunch. It's usually seat yourself but since we had a group of 5 adults and 2 kiddos it wasn't anything readily available. The gentlemen quickly made arrangements for us and even accommodated our request to be seated so we could see the tvs for the Sunday football game. That's good customer service! We ordered from both the brunch menu and regular menu. They do not have a kids menu but we were able to order a meal for our 2 small children to share. I loved my breakfast burrito--very cheesy. And the breakfast home fries (basically little potato cubes) were well seasoned. My aunt wasn't a fan of her Brussel sprouts. My mom was expecting crumbled sausage in her sausage gravy. But overall everything was pretty tasty and filling. They also provided free purple shots for Ravens touchdowns--too bad they only scored once haha I would definitely return again.

Nice spot with a great draft list. Very convenient to UB, MICA, and light rail (if you're on your way to a game). I did not sample the food on my recent visit but the beer selection is phenomenal.

Went to a drag brunch at brass tap and had so much fun! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The servers were friendly and the atmosphere was lively.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]The donut holes were delicious and i loved the mimosa flight. I did not enjoy the breakfast sliders.

    Cecilia T.

We came for drag brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the food. The menu is small and everything on it is decadent. The southern sunrise melt is a melted ham and Swiss topped with an egg and sausage gravy, which was salty, fatty, and delicious. The real show stopper was the mimosa flight, though. All 4 flavors were great and the sample glasses were enormous. The Bloody Mary is definitely worth skipping, just bland and astringent. This is not a new favorite spot, but I would come back.

I had a true 5-star experience at Nepenthe. A few weeks ago,…read moreI visited Nepenthe for a happy hour at work and had the chance to meet Chef Andrew. During our conversation, I mentioned that my wife absolutely loved a specialty burger from his previous restaurant. That restaurant closed several years ago, and the burger isn't on Nepenthe's menu. Without hesitation, Chef Andrew told me that if I gave him some advance notice and brought her in, he would get the ingredients and make it especially for her. So that's exactly what I did for her birthday. When the burger arrived, my wife was genuinely surprised. Chef Andrew even added a candle to the plate to make the occasion extra special. The burger was everything she remembered. She often says she compares every burger she eats to that one, but had resigned herself to the idea that she'd never have it again. Bravo, Chef Andrew. What makes this story even more remarkable is that I had only met him once before. This wasn't something I asked him to do--he was the one who suggested it. That's the kind of hospitality is something I'll never forget. The food at Nepenthe is consistently good, and the atmosphere is fun, lively, and full of energy. It's a great spot for happy hours, trivia nights, and group gatherings. I'll never forget the kindness and hospitality we experienced. This is Baltimore hospitality at its finest.

Nepenthe Brewing has a rotating menu of inspired vegan dishes. This isn't your typical burger and fry brewery. We've visited for date nights, during vegan week, with kids and without. Each time, Nepenthe has not disappointed. Some of the dishes my family and I have enjoyed here are the Killer Tofu (top notch), Crispy Mushroom Banh Mi, Berry Smashed Mocktail, Lemon-Blueberry Cake and, for the kids, the fries with vegan pub dipping sauce. As long as Nepenthe keeps putting forth unique vegan food and mocktails, my family and I will keep it a part of our rotation.

And…read morewhen it comes to beer, service, ambiance, food, and things to do outside of drinking good beer, Peabody Heights is the brewery that checked off all of those boxes and then some! For ambiance, Peabody Heights is located in the old location of Oriole Park, and it plays to that history perfectly by having a mural dedicated to baseball players of the Orioles past. The main space is also HUGE, featuring tables of varying group size, two bar areas, an outdoor courtyard featuring their own food truck, a private party area, and even more that I'll feature in the fun section!. For beers, I was enjoying IPAs, pilsners, lagers, porters, stouts, and then some. I even had a sour beer that was a vibrant blue color! But them being partnered with Charm City directly across the street meant that I was also enjoying damn good meads, and they also had good cocktails and NA options. The food truck banged out Asian American fusion comfort food that you could order from either your phone or an indoor tablet with ease. And my shrimp scallion pancakes and Korean corn dog were absolute bangers! For fun, Peabody has not one but TWO awesome arcade spaces. The first one I entered was a huge and satisfying PINBALL ALERT, and I happily spent all the cash I was carrying playing the Quest and Pokemon pinball tables. But when I pulled back the last door I walked through around last call, I was also absolutely blown away by their HUGE arcade room that featured any kind of arcade game imaginable (shooting, fighting, car racing, MORE pinball, etc) and a second bar space. Toss in stellar service and a great selection of takeaway beers and mead, and Peabody Heights is well worth the visit!

What a fun brewery!…read more My brother had a birthday gathering here this year - we were able to comfortably seat a group of 15-20 people in the outdoor picnic section area. Highly recommend this spot for groups looking for a place to gather and socialize. The space is deceivingly large; there are multiple indoor spaces all within a quick stride from a long bar with dozens of beer taps. The outdoor space is even larger than what's available indoors; their vast street level patio/deck space is full of picnic tables and benches that are perfect for larger groups when the weather is nice. And yes, their outdoor patio is pet friendly. While the brewery itself doesn't serve food, there was a food truck (that looked to be there quite often) set up in the outdoor area that had several good options. I had their burger and fries which was exactly what I needed after an afternoon of brews. The beer itself was tasty; I had several of their hazy IPA's which I've grown to enjoy. They also offer a very solid selection of N/A beer options; some of the folks in our group enjoyed them and gave them great reviews. I didn't get a chance to check out the arcade portion of the brewery, but yes, this is a barcade as well. If you're looking for an inclusive, energetic brewery to check out, definitely keep Peabody on your list.

I wasn't asking for him to comp my entire meal, but the least he could have done was apologize and or discount the meal or one beverage. When we arrived, we were seated right away, but it seemed like there were very few staff working--possibly only one waiter. It took about 10 minutes before we finally had to flag him down just to place our order. The food then took around 25-30 minutes to come out, which felt very long since we were on a tight schedule for our flight. When the food finally arrived, I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and unfortunately it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I don't want to be mean, but it was very bland and really needed salt. My sister surprisingly liked it, but it just wasn't for me at all. The rest of my family did enjoy their meals, and I thought the fries were decent, just lightly seasoned. My mom especially liked the grilled cheese. The waiter himself was nice and kept our drinks refilled, so I don't think the long wait was entirely his fault. The restaurant is very cute inside with cozy, old-style vibes and festive Christmas decorations, which I really liked. However, between the long wait times, the limited menu, and my disappointing mac and cheese, I wouldn't recommend that dish. Overall, it's a charming place, but the service was too slow for us--especially when trying to catch a flight.
