Our family loves going to Chili's for birthdays and other family events. We live right by this location and have to say that we are very disappointed. I am not writing this review off of one or even two visits. We have visited this location multiple time, both in person and ordering curbside. Each time, items were missing or cooked incorrectly. One time we had to return to the restaurant after getting home because my daughter's chicken alfredo had shrimp in it! I do not recommend visiting this location ever! read more

Really what is there to say about chilis. It's a classic chain restaurant the same as every other one generic but neutral and friendly. I seldom come to eat at chilis but every now and then a friend or my partner will want to go. I do enjoy coming and having drinks here and one of the only only thing I ever order is the appetizer sampler or mushroom Swiss burger. I do enjoy it but I feel like its so many carbs and its all deep fried food but it's delicious and enjoyable. Dang you deep fried addiction. All the drinks here are decently priced all the same as other chilis. Some usually stronger than the others depends on who the bartender is but usually kind of consistently the same as the rest. The staff is usually friendly I do like that they team up to help you out and the option to pay at the table is a pretty sweet deal.. I may only eat at this place or one of its restaurants once or twice every couple years but it's usually not a disappointing play. Don't really ever call out any other restaurant but Chilli's always trumps Applebees.. read more

Our waitress Rachel was fun and out going. My friends and I wanted to enjoy a meal together before we start another long work week. My order was prepared incorrectly which was sent back but did not come out until my friends were done eating their meals. I was disappointed to not share a meal with my friends and told Rachel that I would just cancel my meal. Our waitress Rachel went to the manager, Joshua, to update him on the situation. Rachel came back to our table and apologized again. I asked her why her manager had not come out to apologize for my poor experience. She told me she had told him about the issue but she had no answer when asked why the manager did not come out to apologize for dissatisfaction. On the ride home I called the restaurant and spoke to manager Joshua who reports here was to busy cooking in the kitchen to come out and speak to his unsatisfied customer. I call "bullshit". The restaurant wasn't that busy and I would call it laziness and/or inability to deal with disgruntled customers. Chili's... You have to do better than this. read more

I moved to Austin a year ago. I've been to Chili's twice, and I won't go back. The beef on the nachos tasted like it was about a week old. It was really awful. I was also disappointed with my first visit: the food was just not good. read more

I love chili's! If I could give this location 1star. I definitely would. Slow service. My waitress messed up my order FOURTIMES! And brought my husband the wrong drink twice. The worst part of it all was that we were sitting in the bar area, where the strong servers are supposed to be.it was extremely slow and she was slow. She nonchalantly apologized for her mistakes. Excellent food. I loved the strawberry lemonade there. The trivia is a lot of fun for ninety nine cents. I love that I have a rewards program as well. I love Chilis! My party and I were greated by the host as soon as we came inside! The restaurant was very clean from the floor to the ledges in-between the sections! Our food came out quick, our waitress was really nice and attentive and we were greated by Josh the manager. He was concerned about our food and the time we were having at Chilis. First time going to this chili's. I am here on business. My waiter, Kindra, was very attentive and patient with me. She was quick to ring up an order that I had missing and took the time to sit down and apologize for the minor error. It was no biggie for me as I could work on eating my meal while I waited. When I finally got my chicken tenders the breading was raw, I'm not a big stickler, however the manager, Trey, came by and took 50% off my order. Very kind and generous staff. Good ol Chili's, the restaurant that doesn't have a chili anywhere in their menu. But that doesn't stop me from going every once in a while. I like the cajun chicken pasta, the ribs are decent, chicken crispers are delish, and don't forget the southwestern egg rolls. But if I had to compare them with other restaurants in town, it's probably smack there in the middle. I've never had a bad service experience here either, so that's also a plus. Who knew I could love Chili's more! Food is pretty good it definitely hits the mark for greasy bar food. They have plenty of TVs. Game consoles at your seat. They also let you cash out your bill on the console that has games (you can reorder drinks on it too). They have good happy hour especially on Sunday-it is all day. To sum up; food is good, not great, ease of service and specials are awesome, and atmosphere is pretty solid. Recommend signing up for rewards. read more

The place is very low class. We waited 20 minutes for a table and there were plenty of open tables. In fact the table that we were sat at was vacant and clean from the moment we walked in. I came with a group of friends and one of my friends got a drink he didn't like so he asked the waiter if he could possibly have a different drink or get something added into it. Waiter said he could add something into it which was great but I noticed the waiter attitude totally changed after that. We didn't get asked if we wanted refills and two of my friends were hoping to take their food to go but as we were sitting and talking the waiter comes and just starts putting dishes on top of their food without asking if they even wanted a box. They literally ate half of their food so it wasn't like there wasn't anything on the plate. The food was great though so shout out to the chefs. read more

I lost my license yet showed them my paper I.D. along with 2 college I.D.s, my social security card, a photo copy of my drivers license from my gym membership and all my credit cards. I'm 25. They said they couldn't accept my (legal) documents because it was against TABC.This is a bald faced lie, I've worked in this industry for 10 years and know that it is legal to serve someone with this proper documentation. The last and final time I went there I felt like I would've been happier if I had went to Golden Corral (HURK!) instead. I ordered a rack of barbecued ribs and I got what I ordered except the ribs weren't barbecued and the sauce that was suppose to be baked onto the ribs was sitting in a bowl next to the ribs. I called the waiter back and told him about the problem with the ribs and he took them back to the kitchen. A few (microwave) minutes later he brought the same ribs back with the barbecue sauce on them but it wasn't baked on, just microwaved. I then showed him a picture of the ribs on the menu and pointed out how the sauce was baked on and he took the ribs back again and returned saying there were no more ribs and offered me some fattening dessert that I didn't care for as a replacement for the ribs. This Chili's is a such a winner! the food is Chili's fair, but it's so good... Really there are not too many bad choices on the menu. The beers are cold, the cocktails are tasty (although I do think their skinny marg is overpriced for what you get). The service has always been consistently very good... I haven't had a bad server there yet... Another thing that makes Chili's in general stand out over competitors like Cheddars is the fact they have a clear and thorough PDF of the nutritional info of their dishes... So you have an idea of what you are eating - they also have a pretty decent (and tasty) healthy menu of 550 calories and under meals. Finally, I really like the pay kiosk things they have on the tables... Make's paying so easy and shows you in real time what your bill is (if you are being budget conscious but still want that last drink or desert!) 10/10 will be visiting again. read more

We hadn't been to a Chili's in several years because of mediocre food and service but we were very hungry and this seemed to be the lesser of bad choices. All three of us had burgers. All three of us received dry, seemingly two day old buns, with small dry burger patties. The only good thing, the fries. The service wasn't very good either. Took them almost twenty minutes to get us our order and they were not busy. So, we found out that things have not changed and that we were right not to visit for several years. Been coming to this Chili's for several years now on business trips. Must've changed management. I used to be able to walk into the bar grab a booth and have dinner at 10pm. Moose does super service by the way. Tonight I waited 25 minutes to get s seat while they parsed out tables and lost business to people who didn't want to wait 30 minutes to take one of the many open tables. Understaffed ??? Foods good. We had a large group and the manager, Andrew, told us it would be an hour. We asked again for an update after an hour and 15 minutes and he responded in irritation, "We're not ready for you." So I politely said, "Could you at least give us an update since the original hour you quoted has gone and passed?" He sighed in annoyance and walked off without a word to then return and "guarantee" only 30 minutes more TOPS. OVER 2 HOURS LATER, we were finally seated at separate tables. I've ordered curbside many times with different restaurants. This was the first time with Chili's. Now they ask for your vehicle make/model and color and they have parking spots marked Curbside-to-go, so I assumed they really did curbside. After waiting in my car until 10 minutes past time for my food I decided to go inside. There was an entrance for curbside, but the door was locked. So I had to walk all the way around to the front of the building. I go to the bar. The bartender finally turns to me and looks at me, doesn't say anything really. I said I ordered curbside online. He pulls up my order on his computer and disappears for awhile. I notice a table of people who were sitting there since before I walked in. They had no drinks, no menus, nothing. Then a women comes flying in the door and goes straight to one of the terminals. I gather she works there and is late and is trying to login to the timeclock. She throws on an apron and walks up to me and asks me if I need something, she is rude and very brusque. She then flies away from me and goes to the people who have been sitting there with no menus, drinks... After she finally takes them some menus she walks by me again and is muttering about people coming to work late which is funny, because I doubt that her shift started at 11:15 in a restaurant that was supposed to be open at 11:00. FINALLY the bartender emerges with my food. When I get to my office, which is about 3 minutes away, the food is cold, the chicken wasn't marinated... HORRIBLE PLACE. Maybe I just happened to go there on the day when everyone came in late. Maybe it's not always this horrible. Very disappointing first impression....had a group order that was being picked up and brought to hungry healthcare workers. Service was pretty good. Food was great! Good portions. Tea is terrible!!! I tried the blackberry tea and the sweet tea and both were awful. There ended up being a bug in the tea as well. But overall not an awful experience. I'd eat here again. The BBQ combo was what I ordered. I had no complaints at all! Wife had the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla and was very satisfied. Large portion once again. So overall we enjoyed it, although, we were also very hungry when we got here. read more

I was quite disappointed in our meal. The service was incredibly slow. We sat in a nearly empty section, where we were seated by the hostess, for almost 10 minutes before being greeted by a server. I ordered a dish that I've enjoyed at the Chili's in the Rosedale neighborhood but it was poorly prepared and not to my liking at all. I also tried something new on the menu, the white cheese spinach dip, and was extremely disappointed. Spinach pieces not well blended in and with the stems still on them. The white cheese was too heavy for the chips offered....not a 'dip' at all as all the chips broke when I tried to get any cheese on them. Almost no spinach taste to it....just a heavy white cheese. Every time we needed anything, there was a fair wait for our server or else we had to flag someone down. And they were not particularly busy. This location is close to my office and I have eaten there weekly now for more than 1 year with a mix of dining in and picking up to go. The team is focused on serving customers and hussles. The food has always been good and is of good price. I generally order a club sandwich off the lunch menu for dinner and the management team is supportive. The managers always survey the customers and are on top of the team. They e-mail out coupons for free appetizers and they honor them with no tricks or gimics. I have had over 50 experiences with this location and I am happy to say that they are time tested to be good and solid! read more

went here with some colleagues, all from out of town, prior to an afternoon meeting, figuring we would get lunch before we headed to the site. first, the table we were directed to was dirty even though the place had just opened. the waitress told us that was from last night indicating they didn't clean up very well. we ordered, and the quality of food was horrible. the fries tasted so stale as if they were leftovers from the day before. the chicken tenders were so overcooked they tasted like rubber and were very chewy. one order was special ordered for dietary needs and was completely wrong. never again going to this place and likely not an Chili's anytime soon either. read more

We used to go to this Chili's all of the time to drink beer, watch sports, and eat good food. The last THREE TIMES we have gone there have been tables filled with dirty dishes and no one has bussed them. Last night we went, and ten people were waiting in the front to be seated. The hostess was no where to be seen, but once she arrived, there were no clean tables to seat people at. And the restaurant was only 30% filled. It was disgusting and gross. We will not try this Chili's again. I guess the management has changed because this Chili's no longer functions well. What a shame. read more
