I don't understand what has happened to Chili's. The last couple times we ate inside the restaurant the service was terrible. And the last 2 times we have ordered carry out, the order has had something missing or it took 30 minutes just for an employee to help us and get our food ready. Today we ordered food, got home, and there isn't even salad dressing in my bag for my salad. I just don't understand how hard it is to read an order and put the correct things in a bag. How stupid must the employees be that work there. I believe that the restaurant needs to fire all the crap people working there and rehire some people who care about having a job. read more

COMPLAINT go eat dinner had a great time until i seperate the ticket. Pay for half with no issues, use a gift card to pay the second ticket. Had balance remaining. Attempted to run bank card. It declines. Attempt to run the card sereral more times no luck. Call the waitress Brooklyn she tries as well no luck. Super nice as she has another table with the same issue. Manager Brent comes over and explains he will restart the whole system. We go back and forth for over 30 minutes attempting to pay a 17.00 dollar balance. Still luck. So in tern we write a check, only to be contacted outside of Chilis by a lady names Kristie, to infom us she cant except this as a form of payment that we were skipping out on our bill. As more costumers are still entering the resturant, she begins to tell us how we are skipping out on our check, still holding the door for others then lets go of door before our party even gets close. About 40 minutes after we fist attempt to leave we are again approached by manager to state the card was again declined. He would pay for the bill. Lets just say the manager and Kristie need some training and Brookyln was just as nice as can be. No more Chilis for me to be treated that way. If your system breaks how do you expect people to pay if you dont except checks. Again remember we are not the only ones that waited 40 minutes to pay our bill to be treated this way. Was not offered a dessert while we wait, to comp the 17.00 just to wait in a booth while your computer system reboots. Felt like I was treated like a child for their issue. We went to this north side Chili's for the first time last night for dinner. It was a good experience. We had an attentive server who frequently checked on our table and brought us extra things we had asked for in a timely manner. The food was great as always. I can never finish my meal because there is so much on my plate. If you've never tried the fajitas, you're wrong. read more

I don't eat here a lot but every time I do the food is good. They have a big selection of food. The lemonade is pretty good. Sometimes the noise level can be loud but it's not that bad. Never really had a major problem here. I like that you can pay at the table. Makes checkout faster. Ordering on the app and picking it up is so worth it. read more

The food is what you expect from Chili's. Don't get me wrong, the food is enjoyable and Chili's is a great place to catch up with friends. Drinks are okay with prices unlisted and the alcoholic contents on the weaker side. Waiters/Waitresses are usually nice and try their best to serve you, but the restaurant is busy so some patience is needed. I usually come here about once every two-three months and have noticed the quality has remained fairly constant over time. read more

I ordered the sampler platter and service was prompt, I got my food and devoured it (having been in the car for several hours) and left. Simple as that. I had no problems whatsoever. As a fellow server, it takes a lot for me to complain about service. However, with this visit to chili's there wasn't much to exceed expectations. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted because our server said that "his manager was flipping shit" and he needed to bus tables first which made us feel like bussing a table was more important than greeting one. This was followed by another 10 minute wait on our beverages once our order was taken. With two couples, we both ordered the meal for two for $25 which came with dessert. By the time we got our food and ordered our dessert, we were told that our desserts would have to be to go because the kitchen had already shut off their ovens. We got here around 9:40 and didn't get our food until almost 10:30. The server was completely friendly, however the forgetfulness and the lack of timely service with being told to take our food to go really ruined the experience. Not to mention that the cookies we had to take to go weren't even warmed, we were basically given them from the refrigerator and told to have a good night. read more

We'd all love to be eaters for the food network and find unique eats for every meal and let every meal be an inspired adventure - but sometimes we just need Chili's. I had lunch here today and it was just as it always is despite being at least 2 years since I've been to a chili's. Service was decent, I sat in the bar so he was doing double duty but I never felt ignored. My food came in good time which is always a concern for lunch since I was limited on time. I had the Burger but opted for the Turkey Burger and it tasted hot and fresh. All good things. My one tip for Chilis is to not skip the fries. I think this is there underrated best side. Typically everyone gets the chips and salsa but I say scrap that and get a side of fries. Just my opinion. Overall Chili's rarely surprises me but they also didn't let me down. My family and I just finished dinner at Chilis on H 351. We were all very disappointed with the service we received. We waited long periods for drink refills, and at one point I almost took the stacked up dishes to the kitchen myself. My grand daughter's entree finally came after most of us were at least half finished eating. Then we got the check to pay before they brought her dessert to her! It was so embarrassing for her and me! I'm pretty sure we wont be eating there again. I give it one star because at least some of it was edible. read more

Walked in at 2pm on a Friday and every single table in the bar section was dirty with plates and drinks on them but only one table with people actually eating. We only were going into the bar because nobody would seat us as they were sitting at a both in the bar talking. I ordered the triple dipper (wings and double egg rolls) I clearly asked for ranch and was given blue cheese. My wings were not warm. (not even a little ) it seemed as though cold Buffalo sauce was poured on them. I know everyone has bad days, but I was highly disappointed as I normally absolutely love chili's! This was easily my worst Chili's experience and foreseeably, my last. The service was fine but the quality was bottom of the barrel. My Sam Adams Winter Lager came out in a warm mug that smelled of stale beer and the beer was flat and barely cooler than room temperature. The triple berry margarita that my wife ordered was void of berries and the sugared rim. She sent hers back and they fixed it. There excuse was that they were really busy. Great food! Had the chili mango chicken. Has a little kick, but not too hot to handle. I sat at a bar booth and was seated very quickly. Drink orders were fast and accurate. This was a solo meal so wasn't too much of a challenge. The only reason why they don't get 5 stars this time is cause the table was still a little dirty. This used to be my family's go to restaurant. They are now under poor management. When you have 25+ people waiting for a table and more than 8 empty tables that just need cleaning, get to cleaning! The hostess refused to let us sit in the lounge area, and she certainly wasn't going to raise a finger to help clear tables. When someone in my party asked why those tables weren't being cleared, hostess said they were reserved. Lady, you could have had 4 parties served and gone before the reserved party arrived. Normally at a place like this, I'll do a burger because I can usually count on them to be decent...not so here. The burger was dry and tasteless. The saving grace was the French fries that were crisp and excellent dipped in ranch dressing. And due to the subpar taste of the burger, I dipped it in the ranch as well. Our waitress never offered me another one although it was gone halfway thru the meal. I thought about ordering a second one but was afraid it would take too long to get it. At Chili's, north Abilene there is absolutely NO SOCIAL DISTANCING. So we wait 15 minutes for them to seat us at this table where I could reach out and touch the guy at the bar. So it's maybe 2.5 feet. Of course, we get up from the table and request another table that would meet the appropriate precaution guidelines. We are moved, thank you. Then they turn around and place a group of 3 people at the same table. Really? So, of course I had to say something. They tried to say it was 6 feet so I offered to measure it for them since I have an app for that. At that point we were done with the situation and decided to leave. Calling Abilene health department and sharing the photo of the table. As a nurse I have witnessed the impact of COVID first hand, cared for patients dying without any family member around, and it is not something to take lightly. Follow rules......it is not that hard. Usually have a great time at this location... But today we came in at 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon. There was no hostess to greet us. The entire time we were there, the staff was sitting and shooting the shit across the restaurant, eating and socializing. The bar tender in the bar area had to continuously leave the bar to get the attention of the wait staff that was needed. There were several questionable individuals who were not in uniform, but appeared to be familiar with the staff, grabbing beer from the bartender and casually taking it back to the kitchen to drink and socialize with the back of house crew. The entire experience was unprofessional and it was obvious that the patrons being served today were NOT the priority. read more

I have definitely had better experiences at Chili's before this week. On August 11, 2015 we went to lunch at Chili's close to noon. We stood there for some time and there was no hostess. People began to come in behind us. I finally walked into one of the dining rooms and went to the back where 2 servers were at the cashiers place. I asked if they still had a hostess seating people or were we to seat ourselves. They said someone would be over right away. We finally got seated and the waitress said she would be right back. After a while she came back and brought us menus and took our drink orders. It was a while before she brought our drinks. Then she said she would be back to get our orders. After a long wait she returned. My husband told her he had some points that we had gotten in an email and wasn't sure how to use them. She said she was new and didn't know either. A friend had joined us for lunch was asking about how the lunch combo worked. She didn't know. My husband had to answer. Our friend ordered the Chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon, no lettuce, tomatoes or onions. She got a chicken sandwich with shredded lettuce. I ordered the lunch combo with chili and Margherita Flatbread. My husband also ordered the combo with the chili. The chili was very thick but because of the problems we already had I didn't say anything. I also was given the chicken flatbread instead of the Margherita. I didn't realize until after we left that they charged me $7.50 for the flatbread instead of the $6.00 flatbread that I ordered. It is possible that maybe the hostess and a couple of others didn't show up for work but this was inexcusable for Chili's. They need a back up plan when workers don't show up. I have contacted Chili's through their web site but haven't heard back. read more

We had a party of 8 when we arrived it was a 15 minute wait. We got our table and a hour and 10 minutes later four of us got our food and the other four food (ribs,fajitas,pasta) was cold like it came out of the fridge. Two hours after sitting down the others finally got their food. The manager came up and apologized and offered us dessert for free. So two hours and forty minutes later (no drinking going on just sitting waiting patiently) we ordered six desserts between the 8 of us then the manager had the nerve to ask us to get four desserts instead of six !!!
