Dwight is a miracle worker! And all the decades I have been wearing glasses, I have never had a pair of glasses that I could just put on and they were perfect! I pick them up two days ago and haven't had any problems with them at all! They came in quickly, too. This place has a good selection of children's glasses. The lady that works there was friendly. Unfortunately my son's glasses broke a week after he received them and they told us we have to pay for them out of pocket. They didn't even consult our insurance first to tell us what was covered. They wanted us to pay for something the insurance would have covered. Fortunately, I received my son's replacement glasses elsewhere and paid ZERO dollars out of pocket. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND! They overcharged us $160 for glasses. The next time we came in to get more glasses the young lady working the counter said we overpaid the last time and shouldn't have paid for my sons prescription lenses. We called the owner Dwight to get some sort of help on this situation, and because they fired the girl who overcharged us (wonder why she's fired) he said there's nothing he can do. He basically called me a liar as I explained my side of how it transpired. Terrible customer service with Dwight especially. Rude and condescending to say the least. What a joke! My son's Dr, told us about this "great" place. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED Prices qre way too much even for a cleaning cloth! $4 its ridiculous. They don't care about your opinion and concerns. My son's glasses came too small for his face,and I went back to tell them, the guy who works there, made me feel stupid as if I was crazy, he refused to change the frames or give me my money back. I honestly would NOT recommend this place!its overpriced, all they really care about is making money,because they dont care for children AT ALL. It's been over a year since I last came here and someone recommended I post a review. To start off, my daughter was 2 at the time and has a lazy eye, which she had corrective surgery for. My husband has very good insurance, where it covers 1 free pair of glasses once a year with 1 free replacement if the frames or lenses breaks within 90 days. When I came here and ordered her glasses, they said it would take about a week. -I didn't receive them until almost 3 weeks later. The owners response was... the lenses are thick so it needs extra time... ok, well why wasn't that said when I placed the order, since the have my daughter lenses prescription . Second, they called my insurance and said they only cover $25 for lenses and $25 for frames. So we only got $50 discounted. I asked the girl, why? If we typically get a free pair for our glasses. Her response "these are specialty glasses" Turns out, they weren't in network and they didn't disclose that when explaining the insurance process. So, basically, we could have gotten a free pair elsewhere but we only got $50 credit since they didn't tell us they weren't in the network and basically used it up that year. We spent about $500 in glasses for my daughter here that year. Third, my daughters lenses popped out, I had Dwight fix them, I had bought the lenses here but purchased the frames elsewhere. When he cleaned them and told me to come pick it up, I noticed he had scratched one of the lenses. He denied it but after a back and forth, he accepted he was responsible and said he would ord r new ones which would take about a week to get there. After I left and got home, he called me and said I had not purchased those lenses there. I told him I had and I had the receipt and he asked me to bring it. I drove 20 min back, and When I came in he said , I'm so sorry I found the slip behind the other paper work. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. I have found a new place: A child's view in Brea, Ca They have a 5 star review! They had my daughters glasses fitted perfectly and were very gentle and kind! read more

Service is great.. The guy who works there is very friendly and was a big help when it came to helping my kids out with picking glasses. The only problem was the return on the glasses. My eye dr said it should be a week, the guy said 2 weeks it has been 3 weeks and my kids have not received their glasses. Very dissatisfied with this, my kids need the glasses for school and their work is suffering. read more

The owner, Dwight, is friendly and very skilled at fitting and adjusting glasses on small little heads, which we found out many places are not. I will never go anywhere else for my kid's glasses. Lousy business. Expensive glasses that are super cheap and guaranteed to break within a month of wearing them. Owner is money hungry and doesn't care about customers. If you aren't paying cash but have medical, Molina, or IEHP forget about being taken care of you'll get a box of 5 pair of glasses to chose from that are 'free' and once they break you have to repurchase new ones for $40+ they can't give you warranty on them either. read more

This the best possible place to go when you want affordable eyewear for your child and great customer service Dwight is the best I even get my glasses from him he is fast efficient and he makes sure that your child and parent understands how they work and how to care for them. My daughter Bella loves him he is so interactive and fun it was so easy to get her to ware them and take care of them properly he always explains and makes sure she understands. I have been doing customer service for over 10 years and he is hands down the best he's responsible, respectful and attentive in every way. This place is unbelievable they don't care about the parents all they care about is making money. Recently my son needed a new pair of glasses yes he's a baby so they're kind of more expensive well they refuse to give you your PD over the phone or in general because they state that the tool for the measuring of the PB is expensive so the doctor won't allow anybody to give it out so you can't order glasses from any other business except from them. It's all about the money, they could care less about helping a child see. read more

I went in today to get my sons prescription filled. I was recommended to this place by Dr.Kazeni in Lomalinda. I have a 10 year old with cp wheelchair bound and I hadn't found a place where I could get glasses that where a right fit for him. He has poor head control therefor he can't use regular frames. I was greeted by a young girl. She asked if I had insurance. After I showed her my insurance i filled out a quick form. She then continued by bringing out 2 cases of the frames my insurance covered. That was a no for me then she continued by showing me what would work for my little one. My insurance covered the lens. So I opted for the goggle looking ones. They had a variety of color picks. Will post a pic as soon as we receive them. Hopefully in a little over two weeks. The frame alone was 195$ which seemed a bit pricey. Will continue on review upon pick up read more

Unfortunately, my experience with this business was not on par with the 5 star rating they've been given - and I'm being generous with 2 stars. My son and I came here for a new pair of glasses for him. We were shown various sets of glasses in a couple black cases on the counter. My son picked the ones he wanted and I asked about the transition lenses (they get darker in the sun) like the ones he currently had. The guy said insurance would not cover the those lenses and that it would be $90 extra and would take an extra week for the lenses to come in, rather than the 6 days it normally takes for glasses to be ready. I said no problem, I'll pay the $90 when I picked up the glasses in 2 weeks. Two and a half weeks later, I was called by a girl saying my son's glasses were ready. Due to a hectic schedule, it was another 8 days before I was able to go pick them up. If you're counting, that's just over 3 1/2 weeks later. It took a good 10 minutes for them to find my son's glasses, then the same guy who originally helped me comes out saying the girl should not have called me because his "A" something or other lenses were not ready. I said, "That's the one with the tint, right?" He looked confused and said, "No, that's the anti-glare lenses". I told him that wasn't what I ordered, not what I wanted. He kept looking at my husband (who wasn't there when we originally ordered them) trying to explain how there was a mix up and transition lenses would be an extra $245. Every other optometrist we've ever been to, and all three of us wear glasses, has NEVER charged such a ridiculous amount for transition lenses, they literally only get tinted - not sunglasses dark. Walmart only charged $75, another optometrist $105. My son said forget it, he would just take the ones already done with regular lenses, without the anti-glare that we never even requested. So, not only was my order written wrong, even though I specifically asked for transition glasses, and the prices were ridiculous, but almost a month later and my son's glasses STILL weren't technically "ready". Needless to say, we'll go elsewhere from now on! read more

This is the BEST place to get eye wear for your child and even yourself! I get my glasses as well as my daughters. My daughters glasses are special order due to her thick prescription, but they still come in so fast! Everything is high quality and is fitted correctly for each individual. The owner, Dwight, is so nice and friendly! My kids love coming to see Dwight and when they ask him to play with them he does! Took my daughters perscripting and they totally had the wrong prescription on the glasses we bought. We didn't know it was the wrong prescription until my daughters next eye exam. Kasier couldn't figure it out until the Dr. checked my daughters eye glass precription and it was totally wrong. Poor customer service and very rude to their service. Not a friendly place for children. He said that he mixed up the lrescription with someone elses. So in reality my some other kid has my daughter prescription amd vice versa. Poor expierence. This Guy don't even deserve a star this place is the worst place I have ever been too it took 4 months of him pushing us around asking us to call CCS not doing his job finally I switch to a different provider and within two weeks my son who is 1year old finally got his glasses I DO NOT recommend Dwight at all he is very RUDE! read more

Love, love, love this place! I never leave reviews, but I was so impressed that I wanted to spread the news for any other parents who are in the same predicament I was. My baby has a condition that requires him to wear glasses. Every other place we looked at only had one pair that was small enough for my little guy. That one fragile pair had to be tweaked and modified, still never fit him quite right, and got broken in a matter of weeks. Then I heard about Children's Eyewear Sight. This store is the ONLY children's eyewear place I have found around here that takes my son's insurance (IEHP). I loved their store layout, play area, and GREAT selection for the age I was looking for, but what impressed me most was the customer service. They really go the extra mile to be friendly, helpful and informative, and to make sure everything fits and stays on perfectly. I'm never going anywhere else for my children's glasses. I was recommended by a friend. My daughter already had glasses, but I came in here because he offers a rubber over the ear edge on the glasses so my daughter doesn't need the string. Keeps her glasses on without any slipping. Have a great selection of eyewear will definitely be back to fill her next prescription!! read more
