I would never recommend this place. Never. They're highly disorganized and unprofessional. We have requested my son's records 5 times and we are still waiting. He needs to see an Opthalmologist on their recommendation. I don't understand why they won't help. We have asked in person, on the phone, and via email! Additionally, despite having apoointments, we were there for 2.5 hours, most of that time was spent waiting while the office staff goofed around and gossiped with each other. When they were done with a story, they would call us back. Despite ordering glasses on the same day as our visit, we never get our glasses in a timely manner. It is now 5 weeks after ordering and we are still waiting on a pair. I paid out of pocket for a $500 pair of sunglasses and they don't even come with a case? The office staff never remembers to make appointments or knows how to answer questions about orders and appointments. Apparently, they scheduled us before our annual date and then told us we would have to come out of pocket for our visits and orders. We refused. I mean, THEY CALLED US TO SCHEDULE THE DATE and said "its time for your annual visit." Whenever questioned, everyone that works there gives unprofessional excuses and speaks badly about their suppliers and other chain locations. What's worse is that they keep coming up with new, unexplained charges. We have double coverage and the fees just keep coming in. I highly suspect they are scamming money from customers and the insurance companies. They're unable to fully explain the charges. I also find it suspect that charges only come up when we go to pick up our glasses, and never disclosed at the time of ordering. I believe an investigation needs to take place. I will check with BBB. We loved them when we started coming many years ago and they were located in the Colonies. However, it is evident that there is zero training, zero customer care and support and zero management oversight. This location is a joke and a disgrace to the business name. read more

Disappointing service. I walked into an empty lobby and signed in. No one spoke to me and I sat there a half an hour before while the woman ignored me and took two phone calls. Finally, I asked someone if I could simply pickup glasses. At this point she retrieves my glasses and gives them with no case. This was an expensive purchase and it was very tacky to receive them with a case (name brad or generic) to keep them protect. At first I did eye exam, and optometrists was nice. No problem at all, I ordered glasses prescription and had to go back to adjust the prescription and change lenses prescription since the reading line was way too low, then after over two weeks I didn't get my glasses back, I called and one of the girl said she will call me back, but I NEVER got call back. It happened twice. Then I personally visit the office asked for my prescription then cancelled the glasses, expecting to have my money back from glasses that not even in my possession, but the manager herself couldn't do anything saying she was going to contact upper management. At this point , I'm very upset and ready to take legal action against the company. This is an action of stealing money. Why is it take so long to ask for a refund over an item that has been returned ??? I would not recommend this place to anyone anymore. Very unprofessional. I hope whoever read this from daycreek optometrist will be able to fix the whole situation, ANYONE will be unhappy to see $300 glasses not even being fixed but no follow up. Not a happy camper at all. I was very perturbed that I was not informed that I would be charged 75 because I was getting an RX for contacts. I have worn the same contacts for 10 years, so it's not as if they had to do anything. It's not as if I come back to be fitting and maybe switch my RX. When I complained that I was not informed before the exam, because I would have went elsewhere, since I could have gone where I am not charged an additional 75 dollars, the guy at the counter gave me a slew of excuses and downright lies as to why I was being charged for it and not told in advance. I just went into the office to have an exam. The service was good and the wait was minimal. The Optometrist was pleasant and I got a good exam. Avoid this place at all cost, don't know why such a horrible change has occurred with this office but my previous experience with the staff prior to the change was good. My recent experience was horrible. Bought two pairs of sun glasses with little prescription in them and waited three months. In the beginning I specifically asked is there any reason these two pairs will take long and they assured me NO this won't take longer than three weeks. That was before Christmas time. Not to mention anytime you call them they never answer the phone. The one time I was able to reach them I was told by one of the younger guys working there that the frames I ordered were on back order and always on back order and my order would take a long time due to that. I explained I would have never ordered them if I had known that. This place is not good at customer service and you will get lied to guaranteed. They only want to bill insurance as much as possible. I never received a call from them about the contacts, so I ordered online and forgot they placed an order. 6 months later, it appears they charged me for the lens, which I never received, and better yet, I owed them 100 dollars for remaining balance of the lens. I called them and they said they would remove the charge ,but they said they called me three days after I placed the order. I never received a call, and something that would take them several weeks were ready in three days. I had hoped that they would take care of this error. I called insurance VSP and they said charge was refused cancelation because the office stated it was outside three months. Have been coming here for years. Can no longer recommend patients to come here. It took almost a year to get a new pair of replacement glasses. A pair that was accidentally broken when they were placing replacement lenses into my beloved frames. You would think would have been priority since the situation. Sadly NO and neither staff could even put proper notes of the situation in the system. When thought was done dealing with this office, went to pick up my glasses and they weren't even the color of frames I had ordered. The customer service of this office staff has been downhill for a few years. Kept giving them chances, especially when all the staff was changed earlier this year. Don't come here. I had to find an optometrist for my annual check up... didn't know whether I walked into a casual store or a doctors office. The employees at the front are just talking to each other about their personal lives, and the doctor wasn't professional at all. She gave me expired trial contacts!!!! They expired in 2018. She did not bother looking into my eye to make sure everything was fine in there, like normal optometrists do especially when you're there for a lens fitting. I just did not feel comfortable with the way my appointment was handled and don't feel like my eyes were in the best hands. It was a waste of an annual check up. It's hard to believe the way these people do business. I called this morning to ask if my son's glasses were ready . Her reply yes since October 19th . I was shocked!! I tried to control my self and ask why haven't you called for something that important after your office told us will make sure to call you and let you know when they are ready . Went in on June 4th for contact lenses and routine exam. Waited an hour past my scheduled time to be seen. After my exam, they didn't have my contact prescription in stock so I had to order them (no big deal). They said they should be in within the week. I didn't hear back, and waited until the following week to call and see if they came in. I was told my order was still processing and to give them another week, and if I didn't hear from them to call back. I waited another week, didn't hear from them, called back, and they said my contacts order was still processing. To this day (7/12), they have not contacted me a single time about my contacts, either to update me on the order or let me know they came in. However, after my last call with them I went to another optometry and got my prescription same day within minutes, so whatever. After my experience I read their yelp reviews and saw that this is a common problem for glasses as well. Will never be back. read more

Totally unprofessional for a medical office. The whole office was talking about dinner plans at Korean BBQ after work at a volume that you could hear across the office. While I was waiting in the lobby, I observed people with dark sunglasses and lots of gold jewelry walk in and go straight to the back room. Made it seem like there was more than Optometry going on. Male who performed my eye tests made a joke about me being old after he found out I was 35. Doctor made off color remarks about my ethnicity. Very strange office. Never going back! Disappointed with this service. I don't usually pick healthcare providers based on their reviews because I feel an experience can be situational and I like to make my own judgment. People have different tastes. Well I should have read these and listened. Some of the employees are friendly and welcoming. Others don't acknowledge you as you walk in. I had to call several times for a follow up on when my glasses would arrive. No one answers the phone here. Or when they do they say they are always closed for meetings. So this place is closer to my house, lot of choice of glasses, reasonable price and friendly staff. I wanna get my eyes check with dr lee. We have been with Daycreek Optometry since the days of Dr. Aileen Lee -- maybe more than 10 years and during those years, customer service is always the best not until our recent visit where you feel that you that you are dealing with unwelcoming staff. First when I visited for my contact lens fitting, they offered me to have that photo check on my eyes for $29 (most likely plus charge from my insurance), since it's only 29 I obliged. Then a staff did the procedure and after that a young Optometrist check my contact lens fitting. Then he just stated that he will just follow the prescription made by Dr. Lee from their records. Mmmm. Then when I check out I ask what is the interpretation of the photo taken where I paid $29, then staff said did the Doctor said anything? I said no. Then she said, oh let me ask the doctor. Then I want back to the doctor only to tell me that everything is ok with my eyes showing me the camera shots of my eyes. Then when I pick my contact lenses today, I was expecting at least a fitting of my lenses but they just give me 2 boxes of lenses and say Thank you. No fitting or instructions perhaps assuming that everything is ok with me. And I have to ask for a bag. Not a pleasant experience this time. read more

Best optometry we have ever been to! The staff is great, very friendly and very helpful. Dr. Lee is thorough, professional and caring. Our kids are always comfortable when they get their yearly checkups. They are very young and she always explains to them what she is going to do before she does it. We never feel rushed and our visits are always pleasant. They also don't make us waste money unnecessarily. When our glasses can be repaired they do a repair for us rather than convincing us to buy new ones. They also have a great selection of trendy glasses and the place is always very clean. We LOVE coming here and we will never go anyplace else! We highly recommend :). read more

Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! I have been calling for over a month to get contacts. My prescription expired less then 30 days prior to my first call. Knowing that they can extend it if they choose to I requested that so that I could order enough to get me through the pandemic. I am exposed daily due to my job and do not go anywhere to avoid potentially exposing others. Even after explaining all that multiple times they refused. This alone would be inconvenient but not a reason for this review. To add to this I NEVER once received a call back when promised. I had to continually call over the course of a month. Each time they promised to look into it and call me back. Not once in several calls did they ever call me back. This last time after finally admitting that they refused to extend my prescription I requested that they verify with the office that they are OK with me coming in potentially exposed to Covid so that I could set my appointment. I didn't feel right setting it without making sure everyone knew the risk. Again they promised to talk to the doctor as soon as they were done with the next patient and call me back. Again I received no call back. I am done with this office! Within half a day I had a new prescription through a telehealth appointment as well as an order put in from a different provider. There are so many providers in this area. Give your money and your insurance money to one who actually cares about their customer service! read more
