2022 Kia K5 GT-Line

We are over the moon with this dealership! Between the sales manager, Josh, and our sales rep, Vincent, our buying process was such a breeze. And shootout to Finance as well because with 2 kids in tow, she made it easy as well. Thank you guys SO SO MUCH! When the time is right, we WILL be back for my husband's next vehicle too!

My Beautiful new to me Used Honda Pilot purchased from Chico Volkswagon, with Rian as my salesperson
Ashley J.

Purchased a car this month from Chico Volkswagon. After requesting communication online about a vehicle, Rian was professional and on it but not pushy and over the top. I then filled out my application for loan and it got denied through the auto system (I have a colorful and complicated credit history..all on me) but he called and let me know that it would be worked out in person with more documentation. We then set up a time for me and my husband to come in and set up a test drive as I was coming in from out of the area. When we arrived Rian walked out and greeted us and we got right to it looking at all the vehicles we wanted to, I had originally thought new but switched to used and that was no problem. We went out on a test drive and Rian was very knowledgeable and able to find my answers about the vehicle I was driving. Came back looked at another vehicle but ultimately decided to talk numbers. Rian made that part of the process easy. The numbers guy the negotiation guy, didn't catch his name maybe Corey, he was too much. I guess there's a reason he doesn't have much human interaction. Once me Rian and my Husband shook hands on a deal we moved to paperwork with Nathan. Who was excellent and thorough at explaining things. They were very clear that if we needed anything later to contact them. Another great peace of mind thing is all of their vehicles new or used come with a bumper to bumper power train warranty. I know that doesn't cover a lot. But it's something and I think cool they do that. Anyways, great experience, Rian and Nathan were great will hopefully be able to continue to buy cars here. Worth the drive. And I love my Used Honda Pilot already.

Mazda CX 50 hybrid

Buying a new car is always stressful but Chico Volkswagen/Mazda is under New ownership! The new owner was amazing, very personable and friendly and it's still a family business! They were open to all of our concerns and haggled appropriately as you would expect at any car dealership. Press and Mike were the ones that helped us the most and went on multiple drives with us to make sure we were completely happy with our purchase. Even though I was unhappy with the trade-in value on my car, it was expected and I knew going in that I would be negative on it. It was a bad decision on my part to even get that car in the first place but I can't tell you how happy I am with my Mazda CX 50 hybrid. Truly recommend this team!

Thank you Ryan G for helping me get my dream car! You were very easy and personable to work with!

2015 - Brand new Buttercup
Julie H.

Well it was time for my annual service for my 2015 Beetle convertible. New here to Northern California, I bought Buttercup brand new from Autonation Volkswagen in Las Vegas NV. Drove her off their lot with 3 miles on her, and to date - she just rolled over 20,500 original miles. I was really anxious about this new service place, as any car owner who treats their vehicle like family is. My anxiety was quickly put to rest as Jesse (service rep) took Buttercup in and got her up to date with an oil change and standard 32- point inspection. I had opted for the Winter Care package, although if anything else had been needing attention I'd have addressed it of course. Buttercup came back with a great well-check, only needing the tires rotated, oil change and new wipers...all included in that Winter Care package. Jesse stayed in contact all day via text messages, and the tech working on her even sent me a video of Buttercup at her "well-check". Here's what cinched the deal for me: When I arrived to pick her up, she had been 100% detailed. Interior and exterior and I swear that car is cleaner now than when she was brand new. Thank you to Jesse and the entire team at Chico VW/Mazda for looking after my baby. From the bottom of my heart, the care and attention we received from this dealership will keep us coming back.

Dustin- if you ever see this... I guess I wasn't lying?

Once the car's simple service was completed and ready to goI waited 20 minutes for them to bring it up from the back. But not before asking for the second time. Somehow, they've forgotten, even though I had just been there and signed off on the paperwork for pick up. And how long did it take to replace a broken side mirror and a splatter guard, you ask? Over two weeks. I kid you not. Pack a lunch and possibly an overnight bag if you're having service done here. Giving them an extra star for their polite attitude.

One week I receive a call saying they "found more rebates," followed by another call the next week claiming they found even *more*. The numbers never add up, the explanations don't make sense, and the entire process feels like smoke and mirrors. I finally told them to keep the supposed $7-per-month savings from these "new incentives" rather than waste another trip signing yet more documents. If you're looking to purchase or lease a vehicle, I strongly recommend avoiding **Whitmeier**. Their finance department has been completely unprofessional and disorganized. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to **Sacramento**--you'll save time, frustration, and likely have a far better overall experience.

The windows on his disgusting, shabby building are broken as well, so sound is not filtered like most normal people's establishments. It was 6:00 in the evening on a weekday. For most normal, decent people that means being tired. Wanting to have the basic decency of a peaceful home in a hard world. I pay my rent, I don't bother people. I am not doing anything to harm anyone. I just want basic respect that I give to others. I walked over and at a polite physical distance, I politely told him I live next door to him and that he can do whatever he wants but could he maybe just listen to his music at a more normal volume. He was belligerent to me, screaming at me and bragging about what a nice person he is and telling me that I am not nice because I am demanding him (which I literally did not do since that's not what the word actually means). He started whipping his towel in the air at me and screaming to get off his property and told me that I must be lazy since I'm sleeping at this hour. I told him politely and calmly that I wasn't sleeping. Unbeknownst to him, I was actually physically unwell and trying to rest in my home that I pay rent for. The owner of this business is obviously someone who does not care about community, does not care about basic common courtesy, does have basic communication skills, and doesn't feel that he owes basic human respect to his neighbors who live where he conducts his business. Judging on the other negative reviews on this page, this person clearly has a reputation for this kind of behavior. It's embarrassing for grown adults to behave this way. It only goes to show how the education system has completely failed children who grow into nasty adults like this. And it's a display of the bully culture of this country just getting worse and worse. People used to have community. Not so much anymore, because of grown men like this who lack basic values and who act like disrespectful teenagers. Bullies like this don't realize that they wouldn't have a business if it weren't for other people. And that very, very simple acts of kindness actually bring you in customers. He didn't have to be belligerent. He could have simply been polite. But, he's the type of individual who makes crude assumptions about random people. I wouldn't do business with someone of such sordid nature.

My Chevy Volt ( yes I'm a little embarrassed to drive the Volt in the land of "Big" trucks) has the engine light on (charge system needs service). So I make an appointment for drop off at 1:30, show up at 1:30, service advisor makes me wait, parking lot guy tells my son to move his car (my ride home) over to the parking lot out in the rain. After the advisor gets around to helping me they promise a response by end of the day. So at 5 I call the advisor and he says they could not get to it today. Promises by 10 tomorrow. Let's see what happens, and yes I have little faith in Wittmeier. Day 2- no call back by 10, I called them and the service manager said he had no information. Then he said they need to do a recall update regarding low power due to cell. The message on dash said to check the high voltage charging system. They seem different to me. He also said he'd call back in 10 minutes but here we are 45 minutes later and... End of day 2 - car is fixed, poor communication by the service manager so patience and persistence were my friend. The was no cost out of my pocket but in the end the dealer did loose more than Dan can understand. This seems petty but I expect more and last time my Suburban was at Wittmeier they did such a poor job mgmt had to rectify the situation. A while ago I worked for a company that believed every customer should be reference able. That stuck with me and I choose that over just ok.
