The restaurant was spotless, with a clean and simple modern decor that felt welcoming right away. The waitress greeted me with a genuine smile and made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. I sat down and noticed the cool table-side TV ordering system, which was a nice touch and super convenient. Originally, I only planned on having one ice-cold beer, but once I saw the photos of the Korean fried chicken, there was no turning back. I ordered a plate of wings and a second beer -- and I'm glad I did. The frosty mug of Sapporo absolutely hit the spot. Then the food arrived... crispy classic chicken wings served with diced radish, creamy sweet corn coleslaw, and all the little details that made it feel like comfort food done right. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Before I even finished eating, I had already messaged my friends saying: "This is our next meetup spot!" Easy 5 stars. Great atmosphere, friendly service, cold beer, and seriously good chicken. I'll definitely be back!

First of all, I have to praise the staff. They are wonderful! I will come back to them after I talk…read moreabout the food--my order? Fries and the 1 Piece Meal (white). The excellence of the food here is such that I will never, ever forget how good it is. That said, coming here again was yet again an "OMG it is sooooooo good!!!" experience! I suspect I could eat here every week and have the same reaction. The chicken is just so . damn . good!!! As is everything else I've tried here. Even the pickles. Even the pickles that came with my coleslaw that came with my fried chicken were so . damn . good. (And then to dip them in the honey sauce! Oh my! And I'm not even that big on sweet. I was planning on ignoring the honey sauce completely, decided to make one little pickle/coleslaw foray into it--just one little dip--and it was so good--and such a different flavor experience--that the next thing I knew I was dipping the already perfect chicken in it. Not to mention yet more of a pickle/coleslaw-laden fork. I couldn't stop myself from going back and forth for the variance in the scrumptious flavor notes...) The "basic" fries were perfect just as they were. Then, a small dip into the garlic aioli. Oh my...very different from other preparations I've had before. And absolutely divine. Back and forth for me, yet again... Just one bitty bite of the perfect buttermilk biscuit. Oh my... And again, the chicken... fried with no sense of it being fried--perfect light and airy batter, white meat juicy and tender. The staff I met were perfectly charming, attentive, helpful, funny, kind and just plain wonderful, and there were many. Furthermore, I was seated at the bar and my two bartenders, Micah (sp) and Blaire each successfully rose to the challenge of making a mocktail worthy of being as delicious as a true cocktail. We decided one should be called the Micah Old Fashioned and the other, the Blaire Pear. (I hope they put them on the menu.) The bar is a thing of comfort and beauty--kind of like a speakeasy, Micah declared. Blaire told me the story of the starry lights overhead--it was wonderful. Wonderful experience, wonderful night, just--in all ways--wonderfilled and wonderful.

The service was 5 star thanks to Annie and at least 4 others who brought us our food and made sure we were well taken care of. Our food was great despite the lack of warning about how hot the hot chicken is lol. From what we were told it is also NOT their hottest dish. Receipts come with 20% Mallard ice cream which we quickly redeemed. I throughly enjoyed my 1 Piece Fried Meal (fried chicken cutlet) which had the most amazing (only slightly spiced) warmed honey which I drenched everything with. The biscuit was DREAMY!! If I could offer one bit of advice be sure to check out the side dishes on the backside of the menu. I think the macaroni would have made an amazing appetizer. Next time!

Church's Chicken location in the main business area of Chilliwack. This location looks pretty new,…read moreand has high ceilings so that it looks spacious even though there's probably less seating than the average standalone fast food place. Doing decent business on a Friday night. Got a two piece combo which comes with fries, a biscuit, and a fountain drink. Also got 3 wings for $1 each on the promo they are running. Food was served quick since they had pieces ready so just need to pick them out. It was actually quite a bit of food as the 2 chicken pieces are pretty big. I haven't had Church's in years, and actually what I got tasted really good. The skin was crispy and also buttery, and the meat was moist, even for the breast piece. It's one of the best fast food fried chicken I've in a while. Only thing was almost everything was fried, so it was pretty heavy and I was at my limit after finishing all the food. The fries were pretty good too, while the biscuit was okay but not as fluffy as I liked. Price was $16ish, which is about the going rate these days for fast food combo given years of inflation.
