My Favorite Halal chicken spot. Their burgers have great flavor and they are always coming out with new twists.

Finally tried out this chicken joint. I got the 4 piece combo. Half regular , half spicy. Fries with gravy on the side. The regular pieces were pretty good. The spicy was too overwhelming with exotic spices. The spicy pieces were way bigger than the regular. What is up with that ? Are they trying to promote their spicy chicken. I notice this with KFC too. Fries were decent.Expected more fries. Its supposed to be a medium size. Gravy tasted ok but overpriced at 2 bucks. Will I come back ? Maybe. Before or after I watch a movie at the discount theatre across the street. Hopefully Jolibee opens up here soon. & Mary Brown so Vancouver has more fried chicken options. I am a fried chicken connoisseur. LOL. read more

I stopped by here looking for King's Chicken and realized the restaurant name has changed. However, we decided to give this place a try anyways. Turns out this restaurant has been open for a month. The place has been renovated as best as they could. It is a family owned business. The chicken meals costs a bit more than its predecessor. It costed $10 and change for a 3 piece meal. We stopped by when the restaurant just opened so we were able to snack on some really freshly fried chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked - moist and juicy meat underneath a layer of thin and crispy skin. The batter is light unlike KFC's version. Service was good that even the cook came out to inform us the food would arrive shortly. Only complaint is that I missed the old prices of King's Chicken. read more

Pretty good for a local chicken shop, The gabbar burger is really good but expensive, adding cheese makes it even more expensive (worth the money) the basanti chicken wrap is fabulous, and is 7.99 for two.... until you add cheese and the type of chicken you want then it too gets pricy. Overall the chicken is flavorful was going to put 3.5 stars but I cant seeing as I spent money there ate outside and came in to use the washroom before I departed home and got accused of not being in there and only going to use the washroom for maliciousness, not happy with how I was treated, I would say I am a regular who has shown this place to many but this has kind of turned me off of going here again read more

I went in not too sure, but holy it was the best chicken I have had Amin a long time, I will be back. I picked up 12 spicy chicken tenders. And a sandwich. A juicy chicken breast on it. So good. read more

Hole in the wall Filipino fried chicken place in South Surrey. Customer service: Service by the older adult attendant unfriendly and unwelcoming. No smile, no welcome, no real interest in answering questions. Food: Tried the fried chicken with palabok. The taste was pretty good, nice crunch to chicken, well seasoned, reminded me of Church's chicken. Had mais con hielo for dessert and enjoyed it quite a bit. Had ice cream and a leche flan slice on top. Cleanliness: Not so much. Bathroom had no soap and it took them way too long to fill it upon request. Bathroom itself was quite grubby as was the restaurant seating itself. Though the chicken was tasty, their overall lack of cleanliness makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. I was a bit apprehensive to eat there in the first place but I was with others so I just hoped for the best. Don't think I'd go back unless they cleaned up the place and had friendlier staff. read more

Passed by and very curious how this chicken World is like. The chicken pieces are bigger than KFC. Less fried than Churcha's. The chicken is juicy and the herb is between KFC and Churcha's. A good alternative. Staff is very helpful and friendly. read more

Awesome awesome spicy chicken, fantastic customer service. Always steady, its a nice tasty place with good ownership that trickles down to staff. read more

I am utterly disappointed with my order that took 30 mins to be ready when it was promised to be ready in 15mins. At 11:30am there were no one at this "fast food" restaurant. Also the chicken was average and not spicy as I have ordered. It was not worth the wait. Loud religious chanting was playing at the restaurant. In addition, the bad smell of stale cleaning solution made this a very unpleasant experience. I almost trip over a warped rubber mat at the entrance. When I told the server, she said tha she knew about it. This is a hazard to your customers! I won't be coming back to this restaurant. read more

First of all, this place ain't filipino anymore. Not sure when it changed, but the photos on here need to be updated. Anyway, I arrived here at 11:30 am and the door was open. The guy inside said that they weren't open for another 30 minutes even though they're supposed to open at 11 according to their website. He asked what we wanted and said he would be able to make it for us. As I proceeded to pay he then said it's going to be a 15-20 minute wait. I then said we can come back another time then he said that the lady in the back already started making it. Wings were great though! read more

I have been to a lot of fried chicken restaurant but this is the best!! The chicken was not heavily coated or greasy, it was served fresh and really crispy. Palabok was soooo good! Reminds us of our good old palabok in the Phil., the staffs were welcoming and interacts with their customers. We highly recommend this place! read more

Not too greasy unlike other fried chicken places. The prices for lunch is decent and you can always add more pieces for $2 each. Really nice people, one time they gave me an extra piece because the other pieces was a bit small. The fries are crispy and delicious as well. read more

My 2nd try at Newton Chicken world. The first time they gave me spicy when I asked for regular. I paid it thinking we had miscommunication. I did not eat that order.I gave it away. I do not like spicy. Now 2 months later I gave them another shot. I specifically bought 3 white individual pieces and stated 3 times I wished regular not spicy. They undercharged me so I told the cashier. It took them almost 20 minutes , while holding my food back to determine how to correct their mistake of -$5.00. Then I got the chicken home..dinner time ..yay..SPICY!!! and also bright pink inside 2 rib pieces. I am now cooking a dinner for myself!! I will not try Chicken World ever again.Thank You for nothing! read more

My family visited this place on our way back to Seattle last week. The staff was friendly and their service was really good. The fried chicken was tasty and it was very clear that the chicken was made fresh. read more

My boyfriend and I ordered the fried chicken (which came with fries and gravy), lumpia, and palabok. All of it was delicious and very fresh. I'm hard to impress when it comes to fried chicken because I always find it's way too greasy but this was actually SO good and it didn't make me feel ill afterwards. On top of that, the woman working there was very kind and friendly. She even opened the door for my boyfriend because he had his hands full! read more

The food was not good. I threw away one of the two pieces of chicken served to me. I couldn't eat it.

The food was amazing, and the server I believe her name was kurtwa, was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were well served read more

When your the only customer there and they forget to put a chicken piece it pretty much sums up how much they care about their customers especially considering it's overpriced will never be coming back! read more

Completely the worst customer service ever!! I ordered $50 worth of food on Uber eats before tax, delivery, tip or Uber fees. My order came completely wrong and I was missing half of what I ordered!! (fries from all 3 meals were missing, large gravy missing, large salad missing, and the drinks missing). They also messed up on the burgers because we ordered one mild and one spicy, but they gave us both spicy so we had to dispose of one after someone burned their mouth. I called in and was told to come and they would make things right. I went there and the manager was not in, but I spoke with her on the phone an employee gave me for 10 minutes. The manager told me it was all Uber's fault for messing up their menu and offered me 1 large fry and 1 large drink. I ended up just walking out of there and will never go back. Stay away from this place there is far better places. Popeyes and Mary browns. read more

We went to Surrey from Vancouver to try out the Pinoy's Chicken. Sure glad that we did. The fried chicken was fabulous. Batter was thin & crispy, and the meat was moist & juicy. We also tried their Halo Halo, Pinoy Spaghetti and Palabok. Everything was done right and delicious. Family that runs the place were nice and gave attentive & excellent service. Will definitely come back for more. read more
