Best thing were the sauces (peri nero and citrus & herb). - Flame grilled chicken sandwich + 1 regular side ($16.50) - chicken breast wasn't juicy. Dry again. Tried the peri peri flatbread, standard. Wouldn't come back. 2.5 stars.

The ambience was a fast food restaurant, so not much to say there. Something weird I did notice was that when ordering on their digital menu, some sections weren't in English at all even though we changed the language settings to English. My friend and I were just guessing at what we were clicking. I understand a lot of their customers may be able to read that, but I do hope they fix it so more people can enjoy their food!

The original character chicken statue outside the shop was so cute and eye-catching! I got the Signature Original Crispy Chicken with Korean sweet and spicy sauce (on the side) and the Seaweed Chicken. The Signature Chicken reminded me of Korean-style fried chicken--the batter was super crispy, and the chicken was incredibly tender and juicy. I really loved it! The Seaweed Chicken was a bit different from the Signature one. It had less batter, a fluffy seaweed coating, and even more tender chicken. It was simple but really good as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with Zhengxin Chicken and Burger. I will definitely be back to try different menu items!

I was debating between this and AYCE $19.95 deal. I got lunch combo $12.99 since I might overeat from AYCE. I asked the server for lunch combo and radish pickles. And choose cheese sprinkles with fries. Meat was tender and juicy. Batter was light, just the way it should be. Cheese sprinkle wasn't my usual go to so the flavour was okay. Kids might like it. Not spicy just cheesy and little sweet. Fries were perfect like ones from Costco food court. I'll never order this flavour and won't recommend this at all. The taste reminds me of Cheetos. Loved the quality and portions for the price. I can never find this price at Chicko and any other Korean fried chicken places. Server was fantastic, she apologized about forgetting to bring radish. It's a small restaurant so takeout is recommended! Great place to watch World Cup!

The restaurant was spotless, with a clean and simple modern decor that felt welcoming right away. The waitress greeted me with a genuine smile and made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. I sat down and noticed the cool table-side TV ordering system, which was a nice touch and super convenient. Originally, I only planned on having one ice-cold beer, but once I saw the photos of the Korean fried chicken, there was no turning back. I ordered a plate of wings and a second beer -- and I'm glad I did. The frosty mug of Sapporo absolutely hit the spot. Then the food arrived... crispy classic chicken wings served with diced radish, creamy sweet corn coleslaw, and all the little details that made it feel like comfort food done right. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Before I even finished eating, I had already messaged my friends saying: "This is our next meetup spot!" Easy 5 stars. With flavours like tandoori, lemon pepper, and major hot... it was difficult to decide which flavours I would try in my four piece meal. I ultimately chose the original flavour to get a sense of what the chicken tastes like and a couple pieces of tandoori, cuz I friggin' love tandoori. The chicken itself was moist and flavourful. The pieces weren't very big, but acceptable in size. The original batter was crunchy, but definitely could use something else to make it better. That's where the dry rub of tandoori seasoning came in. The mix of spices went really well with the crunch of the batter and juicy chicken. Conclusion? You don't have to go with the big chains for some decent fried chicken in Surrey. Major Joy is a legit option and I'm going to have to try their butter chicken poutine and chicken sandwiches next time!
