Delicious sweet & spicy chicken burger! The serving was just right. The wait was not long. The sauce was not overwhelming and perfect. The price at $16 is reasonable too! Can't wait to come back and try the other menu items!

Chicken burger with the original sauce + onion rings

Totally hit the spot. I wanted a really good chicken burger. It was scrumptious. The meat was juicy and the battered was of great texture (not too doughy and not too thin). Sauce was honey mustard. I also really like the sweet pickles. The extra crispy was tender and satisfying. Comes with a sweet chili sauce and pickled radish (addictive)

This is a small fried chicken place. There is very limited high top seating along the window for six people. They have chicken in three sauces plus a double fried version. The Nashville hot is legit spicy, so be warned. Take the free radishes that come with it to cool it down. The chicken was pretty juicy and crispy. You can choose from wings, boneless (I think thighs?) And drumsticks. The double fried also comes in chicken tenders. Then there's a burger, waffle and salad option. A bunch of sides are also available. Yam fries come with a spicy aioli. Fifnt think it was that spicy, but nice to have a dip. The staff is really nice and I like that they source their ingredients locally.

Best Korean fried chicken in town!! Every time my friend is in town, he will insist that we come here. As a Korean myself, I am a pretty discerning enjoyer of KFC, and this is the perfect balance of impeccably juicy chicken, shatteringly crispy skin, and in-your-face flavorful sauce. The portions are pretty huge, and I think the unique serving of buttered bread with the yangnyeom chicken is a great touch (reminiscent of Nashville hot chicken). In house radish pickles are a must of course! The interior is a bit small, but who cares. I've eaten in as often as I've done takeout.

This place was very cute and cozy!! Me and my family were visiting Vancouver for Spring Break and decided to come here for a quick lunch. Inside is very small however it is decorated very cute and has some nice photo ops. Def great ambiance for younger people. There aren't tables for dining but they have a little window nook which seats 6-7 people. They take care of reserving a seat for you so you don't have to worry about that. The service was also pretty good, the girls were so nice and very attentive. Super polite and very helpful. I would say maybe I'm a bit biased coming from SoCal since we have an insane variety of amazing chicken sandwich spots but the chicken was just okay. I got the spicy signature chicken burger and the chicken breast was honestly quite dry. It wasn't juicy at all but looking at other reviews it might have just been mine! It had a coleslaw that lacked in flavor and a lot of jalapeños. I would say it was a 4/5 for spice level. Flavor was very interesting but I do think I still enjoyed it. Fries were good as well. Overall good experience but compared to other chicken places it was just alright in my opinion.

We came here to get take out from Le Coq Frit as it came highly recommended to us for fried chicken. We got the original black chicken, boneless thigh and an order of onion rings to go to eat at home. They were made fresh to order and although we were a bit late to eat them at home - they were still quite warm and crispy. The chicken was juicy and oh so delicious. Will definitely be coming back again to order their fried chicken!

This chicken is still juicy, heavenly and amazing. I got the boneless 8 piece of two different sauces - original and the slightly spicy Korean one. Fries and chicken were made fresh to order. My dad and I sat in to eat but the seating is limited. Just 5-6 high top seats along the window. Super friendly staff and clean environment!

    Chicken and waffles so good

This place is so good! The croissant based waffle is delicious, buttery, and soft. The crispy fried chicken is perfectly seasoned, not too salty. The batter is perfectly crispy, and the chicken is good quality. The chicken breast burger is huge with a big chunk of meat. With fried foods, I can always taste the quality and freshness of the oil they use, and this place tastes clean. Really appropriate the quality of the food here.

Got recommended of this place by a friend of mine, they said, "The best chicken sandwich in Greater Vancouver". Limited seating available as they can only seat maximum of 5 people at a time. It's mainly a take out place. I wanted to get chicken sandwich, but I was still a bit full so ordered Original Black Chicken with fries on the side to share with a friend. The order totaled around $18. We got our order about 10 minutes after ordering, and we decided to eat in as there are seats available around. Their chicken was really crunchy outside, it was fully covered in soy based sauce. I think the sauce is mix of honey, garlic and soy. The inside was really juicy. I was very satisfied with the food here.

    Chicken and croffles

We ordered the chicken and croffles and the signature chicken burger with fries. We waited around 15 minutes and the food was ready. There are only 4 seats inside so come early. Signature chicken burger with fries $16 - we got the classic chicken burger. The chicken was THICK and juicy. Not dry or too much. I liked that there was pickles in there. It tastes somewhat like the Big Mac but in a good way. The bun held the big chicken together very well and didn't fall apart. The fries on the other hand were TOO SALTY and not crispy enough. Would recommend only getting the signature chicken burger. The chicken and croffles - $14 we got the sweet and spicy chicken. Not spicy whatsoever was more sweet than anything else. Felt like the breading was a bit too thick but it was very crispy and light. The croffles were very good and crunchy. Flaky and buttery. Wish I could only get the croffles (but then again you can make them yourself with croissant dough) Overall: service was really nice. They even came to check up on our food when it's more like a order and pickup food kind of place. The chicken was all very juicy. The burger is where it's at

They give you a cloth bag for delivery orders

I ordered this for delivery which I realize is risky. The CARE they take in their packaging is superb. I'm giving them 4 stars because they did execute quite well, but if I'm being honest, my personal rating would be 3 stars because I found all their sauces quite sweet for me, and there's a lot of batter involved. But if you like your sauces sweet-leaning and like lots of crunchy coating, this is the place for you. I ordered their: Medium Real Crispy (8pcs boneless) - the chicken was moist & juicy. There is a lot of batter, it didn't stay as crispy as the Chi-mec chicken after delivery, but overall pretty good. I personally think I've had better karage but this is decent. The sweet spicy sauce is quite sweet. It come a with a small side of pickled radish Medium original black (wings) - this one comes covered in a sweet soy glaze and crispy garlic chips. It was as a tasty little snack. They serve it on some slices of bread to soak up the sauce. Comes with pickled radish. Onion rings - stayed crispy even an hour later. The onions are cut quite thin, so it's a high batter to onion ratio. Coleslaw - yeah this was a miss for me. Small portion and not tasty, a bit dry. Pickled radish - I didn't realize that the chicken came with some, but happy I ordered it Aioli - this was oddly sweet as well. It tastes like they added some honey mustard to mayo and called it aioli.

    Signature Chicken Burger

I like the interior, it's bright and the walls are black - very chic & modern. There are only about 3 stools by the window for seating. The menu is quite simple, there are a few deep-fried chicken flavour options, burgers, and some sides. My order: *Chicken & Croffles ($14): I recommend the croffles (croissant waffles) as this was my favourite out of the 3 items I tried. Amazing texture, the outside is a little crispy and the inside is more like a croissant which pulls apart and is buttery. It comes with their signature deep fried chicken (chicken thigh, so this was nice and juicy). I love that it also comes with pickles. I'm usually a huge fan of deep-fried garlic, but they were a bit hard/stale this time. Signature Chicken Burger ($13): Burger contained a massive piece of chicken breast. It is a tad bit drier, but the sauces and pickles make up for it. Served on a pillowy soft Brioche bun. Onion rings were great too, nice and breaded (and crunchy!). Chicken Salad ($11): chicken breast was a tad dry, but good portion of meat and greens. It'll definitely be filling for a meal as you get your dose of protein. I also really love the Asian-styled house made sauces, which has elements of sweetness. Yuzu salad dressing on the side was light and unique.

It's an area filled with lots of fast food spots, all competing for customers so there tends to be an abundance of price boards, advertising posters and daily specials boards, so this place fits right in. I decided to order the 10 piece fried chicken family bucket. It took a little more than 20 minutes to prepare, so not exactly fast food, but it was definitely fresh. I ate it at home about 15 minutes later: - Fried Chicken: Very good. Considering I got it to go, where quality can only go down in that time, the skin was still crispy, but not too hard. Meat was hot and juicy, although I did find a couple dry spots. I got the mild flavour, but still had a nice amount of spice and flavour to it. - Fries: Good. Probably would've been better if eat fresh, but still good. - Macaroni Salad: OK. Wetter than most, but had flavour, so no complaints. As a fast food setup, service was minimal. Good enough. My only warning: there's a very small step at the entrance that is easily missed. So I almost lost my balance walking in, and almost tripped on the way out. Overall, pretty good food. If I was in the area, and wanted I bite, I would consider going back. Their weekly specials look like a good deal.

Tasty Korean place close to Davie and Denman…read more Parking is pretty horrendous here. Not sure what to say. The venue is several steps down, so this place is definitely not wheelchair friendly. Something to keep in mind. It's basically a glorified basement. Staff are friendly and helpful. Friends and I didn't know what to order (not familiar with the vocabulary) and they were very helpful. Each medium sized box is a very decent portion for 2 people. I imagine a large can easily feed 3. Very good deal I must say. The only issue I have with Korean fried chicken in general is that the flavour becomes too much if one has several pieces of the same flavour. Therefore it is best to order more flavours in a given batch to mix things up. Yang-nyum (sweet & sour sauce) - just the right mix. Tasty. Mat cho king (soy pepper sauce) - a bit on the salty side, but this is expected. Nice pepper kick. Pa dak (green onion) - this one comes with a pile of green onions on top. We thought the box was inverted. The dish includes a container of sauce that needs to be poured all over everything before eating. The order also came with a container of pickled turnip (daikon) for each box of chicken, which was nice. Overall I was very happy with this place. Would gladly come back in the future. Recommended.
